A piece of plastic mimicked a swan.

The plastic dips into the water with a sort of vengeance—it starts to drown the other fish in the water, maybe out of jealousy, for they are living and have a heart. Plastic will always ensnare; it will never provoke thought or provide a feeling of love and resilience.

Cigarettes bastardise your chords like tar, for sins you must repay. I don’t think of you as immoral, just that there’s a holy in your mouth, orally fixated on the smoke. As you breathe it out, the cigarette breathes you in—deeper than a fire to a match, sadly, deeper than how you see my love.
