Can anyone explain to me why I'm almost never truly hungry anymore? And why when I eat in the morning (and sometimes extending into the afternoon) I can get sorta nauseous afterwards? Like, it's not the taste. It's almost more just the act of eating. There was also about a year long period where even the thought of eating breakfast--particularly the waffles I primarily ate at that time--made me so nauseous I couldn't eat anything or I'd feel like i was gonna throw up.

Possibly unrelated, I also get this feeling when I wait too long to eat. It's similar to nausea, but is more like... it feels like i'm dizzy in my stomach, if that makes sense. A had a day like this recently, only the feeling didn't go away after I ate, which is usually the way to cure it. Like I said: possibly unrelated. It was just weird, so i added it just in case it adds insight.

Has anyone experienced this? Do you know what this is called, if it even has a name?

I tried looking this up on Google, but i didn't get any concrete answers. Google seems to think it's an eating disorder, either anorexia without the body image aspect, or avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). Neither one fits me nicely, but if i had to pick which one fit best, it would be ARFID. However, due to sensory issues, it's hard for me accurately judge what's because of the sensory, and what might be ARFID. I haven't found much information on ARFID beyond the sensory aspect, so those who have this condition, please comment below other aspects about this condition.

I just want to know what's going on. i want answers.

they make eachother food but dust poisoned horror's food and horror added rusted nails to his so theyre just like no you first you really should eat first i wouldn't wanna be rude no but i INSIST! they both know. it's a fun little game isnt it??? horror gets a bit scared of having to eat the food when dust's eyes turn red and cyan but it's okay because then he can just shove the shitty eggs he made into those eyes because theres literal NAILS cooked into it

sometimes they fight because thats normal and dust is annoyed at horror for hating undyne because she's a good person who just wanted to help others and horror's getting pissed because DIDN'T YOU LITERALLY KILL HER DONT YOU JUST VIEW HER AS EXP WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING HER!!! and they bicker back and forth and dust is really starting to wonder why he even empathizes with horror atp.... but its ok after a little quarrel they simmer down and move on. they dont change opinions at all the fight was for nothing

but then there's also times when they just wanna confide in each other because likeeeee theyre both shitty people who fucked up their undergrounds by their own accords and miss how peaceful life was back then. dust tells horror stories of life back before the human came because horror doesn't really remember it that well anymore and horror speaks to phantom papyrus through dust so he can pretend that this is just a conversation between sans and papyrus and everything's okay for just a moment. they both linger onto their memories of how things were before everything went to shit even though horror can barely remember and dust hates his previous self back then,,,,,

dust thinks horror's sooo much better than him for not literally mass murdering everyone but then goes around and stink eyes him for forcing his snowdin to eat humans and then leave the rest of the underground to starve. WHY DIDN'T YOU DO BETTER HORROR WHY DIDN'T HELP EVERYONE ELSE. horror scoffs because even though he kinda lowkey gets dust's philosophy of saving everyone and stopping the human through gaining LV he still killed everyone??? The way you draw Caz and Suze is just phenomenal. What sort of thoughts cross your mind when drawing characters that have little observable appearance in game?

Well, the first that that usually crosses my mind is how I'm going to make them accurate to the game. I personally like to try and get characters I draw as close to cannot as I can using what I can gather about them before adding my own little head cannon details! Suze is definitely the one I've struggled with most over all, since there's barely any references I could find online, and I usually have trouble sending the screens shots to myself since I played it on Xbox 😭

I had a thought about the welcome home character designs. Is it possible that Wally was made/designed by someone different from the other puppets?

I'm not just talking about the fact he is the only one without a nose (though that is what started me thinking down this line), but everyone else (sans Eddie, but maybe we haven't just been shown) seems to push The boundaries of what a puppet could be: Barnaby and Poppy are Big, Howdy has four arms and four legs, Frank's spinning head, Sally's head needing more than one puppeteer, Julie's hair, heck, Home is a freaking house. Wally compared to this colorful crew seem... Well, I don't want to say plain but he definitely seems to be the vanilla ice cream of the bunch.

but a... sort of mirror? an Ideal Self? to the in-canon playfellow creator, Ronald Dorelaine. the theory had a thread (if i remember correctly) of connecting the creator's name to Wally, similarities in sound and meaning and even some of the etymology i think they said...

but that could explain why Wally is a little... different. more... pure? im missing the right word rn but idk, his design is Graceful and Composed in comparison to the others. he Is indeed simpler, but in an "ideal" way. he's very appealing and non-cluttered to look at. he resembles a human, while not being too human-resembling like Eddie.

Daydreaming

Hey, so does anyone else have trouble staying in the Now? Like, when you catch yourself daydreaming/mind wandering and you sternly tell yourself to stop and focus/continue with whatever tasks you were doing or about to do, but then 5 minutes later and your still sitting there with your thoughts elsewhere?

I conceptualize this as not being in the Now, which is basically just everyday living stuff. You know, being present and aware and all that. I don't know if there's a technical term for this.

I've been struggling with this for a while now. Basically ever since 2020. That was when schooling was put online, which really messed with my regulatory systems. It got to the point where I didn't want to get up and face the day and the school panic/struggle that came with it, and I found myself daydreaming while laying in bed after waking up. It was only for about an hour at first, but then it started stretching to longer and longer periods, at one point even lasting 3 hours from 7 to 10 am!

Even today, when there was absolutely no stressors, I daydreamed until 10:30 or 10:40 after waking up, and when I went downstairs, my mom was really passive aggressive about it (she's been telling me I need to get up earlier) and said, "Good morning. Though it's almost noon." And like, yeah, I know. It's late to be getting up. I'm sorry. I got some food (in between "breakfast" and "lunch" in manner), but then found myself daydreaming after I'd eaten, too. I was just sitting there, unable to pull myself back into the Now for a good 10 to 15 minutes.

I've heard about maladaptive daydreaming, and I was wondering if this might be it? If it's not, does anyone know what it might be? Even if the only answer is "it's called daydreaming and everyone experiences it"/"it's called needing self-control over thought regulation" then fine. I just want to know what this is. Also, if anyone knows how to turn this feature off, great. Please share.

So clearly I knew some things about Pit Babe before watching it but now that I’ve seen the first two eps and have thought about them for a few hours I have some things I wanna ask/say. And I wanna look back on this post when I finish the show to see what I got right/wrong and if my questions were answered 😄

From what I’ve seen on tumblr: I think Charlie is an enigma (or is Babe?) and Charlie can steal people’s powers like Rogue from X-Men but only from prolonged exposure. Babe has super heightened senses, and apparently everyone has a superpower? But they don’t outright say what they are in the show so you have to guess? Or do just alphas have powers? Episode 2 told me Babe was Daddy Tony’s ward/adopted child and that makes sense with Tony being the ringleader for a secret group trying to make the “best” alpha race like that historical art school reject cause it means Tony killed Babe’s family to get him and his powers.

Alan is called old but how old is he actually??? As a soon-to-be 29 year old I will accept no “30 is old” slander!! 30 year olds are still hot and sometimes even hotter than when they were in their 20’s!! Just look at the GMMTV men for example!! Earth! Tay! New! Jimmy! 😍
