(i'm not kidding. the entirety of the first two books is just both of them saying how interesting the other is. it's suffocating.)

The two first books hold such bangers, and clearly not enough people ramble about them. I'm a sucker for the relationship they have afterwards obviously, but even before that they're hilarious. Many underrated scenes that could be worth drawing.

Also I underestimated how Neil dress and presents himself - like: he wears oversized, worn out and faded, preferably light-colored clothes; messy curlyish hair with bangs; sports hoodies; JORTS-

... He's got a banger style actually.

Miles: -completely unnecessary. Doing a Steel Samurai reboot so soon after the series ended is a foolish decision, everyone will be directly comparing the two from the moment the first episode drops. I don't believe they even have a fresh direction for the show, the only difference will be the cgi. God forbid we rock the boat and follow a new character! It's abundantly clear to me that the studio executives are cowards.

don’t waste away ur summer scrolling on ur phone and staring at a screen 24/7. go outside and get some fresh air, don’t waste too much time digitally and live ur life. literally put the phone down 💀. put a time limit on ur phone if u need to but its good to practice discipline and self control so that ur making the most of ur summer time.

GET SOME FRESH AIR AND SUNLIGHT ;

make sure to go for walks and get fresh air. let the sunlight touch ur skin and spend some time outside if u can cuz it’s so good for you. make sure to ground urself in nature and not overstimulate yourself with dopamine. and remember, make sure to wear ur spf to protect ur skin from the sun so u can stay healthy and beautiful.

speaking of healthy and beautiful... this summer is a HOT one so if ur not drinking enough water ur gonna be so super dehydrated so please drink water. put some ice in ur water and refresh urself. you can even put fruits or mint in ur water to give it some flavor.

PROTECT UR PEACE ;

block. don’t hesitate to block anything or anyone that you feel threatens ur peace and make sure that ur protecting ur peace. taking adequate breaks from social media and time away from ur screens and just pampering urself inside and out.

This man cooks like a surgeon (complete with orders to his scrub nurse) and I love it.

Edit: honestly this scene was so good. There is so much personality crammed into this moment. Like he's going to do something nice and caring for her but does it in the most taciturn way possible. And she's so confused by him but also unconsciously follows his curt orders. And even his instructions don't seem rude but just like he's very used to being in charge. He's so orderly and exact in cutting and setting stuff out.

Feeling anxious or scared about answering the phone or having to make a phone call may also be a sign for feeling scared of being judged, being wrong or being abandoned/let down by others. It's like getting in touch all of a sudden with something unknown, something we can't control or predict and therefore we may want to try to avoid such uncomfortable situations. Phone calls, differently from text messages, ask us to react immediately and to perform without much time to think or process infos and words: this is what makes them scarier and more uncontrollable.
