Octocon is a new app for systems. It's traumacentric and made by traumagenic systems. It also has a discord bot that is a lot easier to use than pk in my opinion. You can also sync your app and the bot so you can edit alters in the app. The app is on android already and coming to IOS soon. Hope this helps some people :)

(If you're in a server, I recommend adding this bot as more people are starting to use it instead of pk and tupperbox)

for the love of god, endos, endo-adjacent, non-disordered, non-traumagen, so on... please just don't use this. this is not for you. this is for people with a CDD, which are inherently trauma disorders.

since CDD systems don't exactly have a symbol to represent ourselves that's by us, for us; at least that we know of (as i believe ‘&’ was created/popularized by endos as a symbol for ‘plurality’, and just feel personally uncomfortable with it; not to mention how they have a couple other symbols they use for themselves). so, we've decided to make one!

we've based it off of diagrams of the planetary orbit; we'd say there's two different ways of which to interpret the symbols details, but the big picture of it is simply: our solar system is the reason planet earth even has the capability of developing life forms like our flora and fauna, without everything in the placement it's in, we would not be alive today. much like how, without our systems, we would not be alive today. now, as for the interpretation of the details:

on a smaller scale, the spaces between each ring (orbital path) can be seen as the dissociative barriers between alters, with the alters being the circles (planets) on each respective ring. the inner circle (sun) representing survival and healing, as we formed as a means of survival but are now working to heal from our traumas.

on a larger scale, you could see the the spaces between each ring (orbital path) as the dissociative barriers between layers, the circles (planets) on each respective ring representing subsystems within those layers. the inner circle (sun) is always to be interpreted the same.

essentially, it's just capable of being interpreted in both ‘classic’ and complex system structure. the ring of circles (asteroid belt) is either meant to represent more alters, fragments, or the general feeling we have of a fragmented sense of self oftentimes.

this took us a little bit of brainstorming and adjusting to create until we ended up with something we like, so we hope the community likes it as well!

So, we've seen a lot of people flaming fictives/introjects from things like Harry Potter, Twilight, DSMP, that kind of thing and we wanted to make this post.

With most of those posts, we've seen a lot of comments saying "they need to source separate" but if it's from a nonproblematic source that's not being said. Here's the thing. If an alter feels comfortable source separating, then that's one thing. We have about 4 alters from the Harry Potter franchise because we were absorbed in it when a lot of trauma happened.

None of us feel comfortable source separating. Some of us, like the fictive of Regulus Black, don't feel entirely connected to source. But notice, he hasn't changed his name. He doesn't PLAN on changing his name because while he is distant, he still feels ties. Do any of us support JKR? Hell no. We hate her with a burning passion.

Does that mean we refuse to do something like read fanfiction of HP? No, we write it because it helps Regulus process trauma, both source and his own, it helps others realize stuff will get better.

And gods forbid someone has a "cringe" source. We have a fictive from Twilight. She's pretty source connected because, well, she's source connected and wants to be. That doesn't mean your evil for being source disconnected.

We've got an introject of DanTDM, specifically his earlier videos. Does Dan (ours, we'll refer to the actual as DanTDM) enjoy watching those because it reminds him of his past? Yeah. But while he recognizes that he's from DanTDM, he doesn't feel he is him fully. He's his own person and that's okay.

Basically the point of this which we kinda missed. An introject does not reflect their source. It is not fair to demand that because an introjects source/creator is toxic that they source separate. Your being cruel and horrible for no reason that way.

We're well aware of the fact that we might lose followers, and if we do, then we don't want you here.
