Wei Wuxian starts off in the middle because he *demands* maximum cuddles. Jiang Cheng frequently ends up in the middle when WWX wakes up at 2 am with an idea he just has to write down and crashes back into bed a couple hours later. Lan Wangji occasionally ends up in the middle when Jiang Cheng gets up and walks around to sleep on the less wriggly side.

Jiang Cheng sings in the shower, beautifully, and one of these days he's gonna catch the other two loitering in the hallway to listen.

3CorpseZun (Wen Ning/Nie Mingjue/Song Lan): who is the most protective? Who sings the others to sleep? (For purposes of this question, SL can have a tongue or not, up to you)

It's a protect-off. A circle of defense. A back-to-back-to-back mutual guarding situation. (When it comes down to it though, the Dage instincts are strong.)

This one actually is Song Lan, I think. He might not be able to sing the words, but he barely remembers them anyway. The melodies though, are old, old ones, passed down through the generations who tended the creche — these, he can hum by heart.

NMJ/WQ/JC (oops! all gruff): Who can be trusted to be left home alone (without embarking on an overambitious project, whether that's home renovation in a modern AU or self sacrifice in a canon timeline)

TOUGH CALL this one actually is Nie Mingjue, who, free from observation or obligation, is most likely to just find a sunny spot and take a nap. 😌
