Papercraft commission of Xue Yang, Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan, in a pose based on That One Really Iconic Twelfth Night Photo! The photo has a beautiful composition, but I think the black of Xue Yang and Song Lan's clothing framing Xiao Xingchen's white robes makes it extra cool. Plus, the red stands out more! Only good times here in the Yi City arc! :D

DRAWTOBER #11 - How To Say Goodbye by Mushroomduchess

Song Lan has settled into a routine of grief years after being freed from Xue Yang's control. The loss is heavy, the memories distant, and the wandering lonely. Caring for the fragile souls of his most dear companion, Xiao Xingchen, and a little girl he'd only known for mere hours, A-Qing, has largely a lonely journey. Until one day he wakes up to find a little ghost in his kitchen. - Or, Song Lan achieves ultimate Girl Dad status taking care of A-Qing in the afterlife.

as I have said many previous times before, I am a sucker for the Gruff Guy Adopts Spunky Teen Girl trope, and this fic absolutely delivers. Song Lan in his true final form as Girl Dad, raising little ghost girl A-Qing as best he can and giving her the (after)life she deserves 🥹 whilst it's a really sweet premise, this fic isn't saccharine and it doesn't smooth over the unpleasant elements of either of their fates, and lets them both grow and bond in a beautiful way.
