Oh my god, you guys!!! 😍 The Surrender paperback is going to be on the shelves at the Austin Public Library soon!

This was my first 🌟BIG🌟 goal for my debut novel, and I can't believe it's happening! When I saw this pop up, I actually got teary. 😭 This is a library nerd's dream come true. 🤓

Now I'm just biding my time until they reopen the call for local author consignments for the bookstore at Central... I'm patient, I'll be good... I'm not hopping from foot to foot and wiggling with excitement, I swear 😂

Pumpkaboo is the obvious one, but y'know, sometimes the obvious one is the right one! (we'll say SUPER SIZE Pumpkaboo, just for fun. big pumpkin for big skeleton boy.) and another person actually also suggested Greavard, which I somehow hadn't considered, but feels so perfect that I feel like I should have. dangit.

Idea of cosplayer Shen Yuan whos known for embodying characters so well hes called the "Scholarly God" bc of his impeccable acting. One day he goes to a fun event at a ren faire and finds intrest in a particularly handsome brute in red.

Cut to metal worker Luo Binghe, a full armor combat specialist who actually is the BIGGEST fan of cos legend Yuan that hes followed the man since his very VERY first cos- Shen Quinqiu from PIDW. The two hit it off and no one suspects years later that when a new and upcoming cos comes to pair with Yuan, everyone thinks hes just a rising star. But....why is it after this new cos star that Yuan has the most beaitiful jewelery and metal work weapons/details in the whole community? Why do they only do popular mlm ships and couples cospays?

Thank his husband, Luo Binghe. After all, a God deserves only the finest hand made and loved items to adorn their body. And if his beloved wants him to dress as a Demon King for views, who is he to judge?

At the start of this project all I wanted was to 'learn how to draw' using comics as a medium and the MDZS audio drama as inspiration.

I've come *very* far from making simple, 3 panel black and white comics, and I truly do intend to go even further. Thank you to everyone who cheered me on throughout 2023, it has been an incredible year in so many ways I never could have imagined. I look forwards to drawing throughout 2024 B*)

i know that people mostly use "kill the part of you that cringes" as a way to be like "don't be a dick to people whose high crime is 'liking things a lot'" but quite frankly we need to use it more in political spaces. like, sorry you think middle aged liberal wine moms that knit pussy hats and quote fiction are unbearably cringe, but middle aged (and older!) women are the backbone of literally every good cause in this god forsaken country, and if you want to actually commit to bringing about change, you're just going to have to grow out of being an eighth grader and learn to fucking deal

Floor plan tings! I couldn't turn off my designer brain so getting this layout right was actually a bigger struggle than decorating. Real work projects and Pinterest were my besties on this journey. Huge thank you to @trumpets0ng for working her magic and skills to create the first draft of the renovated plan. I would’ve probably still been stuck without the help.

One thing still bothering me is the nursery being the farthest room from Bailey and Q. I might have to chat with Rebi and explain that she's going to love a big kid corner room with double the windows. We shall see. We still have time and my decorating brain is on vacation 🫠

A whole day later and I'm still thinking about the person who decided that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is badly written because they found a codex that references the book club that the companions started.

Because they thought it was unrealistic that anyone at the Lighthouse would ever have time to read books, much less have a book club.

ETA all this to say I am in my “block people clogging up the tags with negativity” phase of getting back into Dragon Age fandom.
