A work in progress... I finally got around to updating Phoenix's visual design. The 2011 version I included is pretty dated. I still like how its tail burns my eyes to dust if I look at it for more than 5 seconds though. I want to keep that but also expand her eyeburning repertoire and maybe even give her 1 more human form design since she IS supposed to have a ton. I would include native form variants like... piebald and stuff; even for Griffin I thought a melanistic or golden form would be cute, but man is it a lot of work and not top priority either. Suffice it to say, they have more range than what I depict. We'll see how much energy I'll have - I'm on the fence about drawing her fave human form for the sheet because I have recent examples of it. I've been putting off updating her self-roasting turkey form because... well look at it Anyway, now I can say "I have a tentacle cock monster mural on my acid trip chicken's ref sheet"

Floor plan tings! I couldn't turn off my designer brain so getting this layout right was actually a bigger struggle than decorating. Real work projects and Pinterest were my besties on this journey. Huge thank you to @trumpets0ng for working her magic and skills to create the first draft of the renovated plan. I would’ve probably still been stuck without the help.

One thing still bothering me is the nursery being the farthest room from Bailey and Q. I might have to chat with Rebi and explain that she's going to love a big kid corner room with double the windows. We shall see. We still have time and my decorating brain is on vacation 🫠

“Why is your ear green?”

Pete’s brow crinkles a moment in thought, then his face lights up.

“Oh! I had my earrings in earlier. I was out having lunch with Porsche, so I put them in. They just do that sometimes.”

“What, the silver hoops?”

Pete nods.

“Yeah, you’ve seen them. I wear them when we go out.”

He thinks a moment, and then looks at Pete incredulously.

“The ones you wear out to the bars? The thicker silver hoops with the pattern?”

Brightening, Pete nods.

“Yeah, those!”

Vegas moves around to the front of the couch and crouches down, reaching to take one of Pete’s hands, a serious expression on his face.

“Pete- are you wearing cheap jewelry?”

His face goes from bright to unimpressed in an instant, and Pete takes his hand back.

“I’m wearing my jewelry.”

“But-” Vegas rolls forward onto his knees so he can lean in, hands resting on the edge of the couch. “This is criminal.”

One of Pete’s eyebrows rises.

“Vegas, we’re in the mafia.”

Snorting, Vegas waves that off.

“Not that kind of criminal, I mean the bad kind of criminal.”
