hi there! this fandom blog is new and we are looking to make some friends on here!

but we know a bit about a lot of different heroes! we watched most of the young justice cartoon and all of the original teen titans cartoon, a few movies, and had a bit of a dctv phase a loooong while back!

a Lot of what we know/engage with is based off of the mcu. despite its many, many issues, it's just a bit more accessible for our brain right now. we engage critically -

moon knight (including mcu moon knight - though we do recognize the issues with it)

spider-man (multiple mediums. right now we're mostly reading/writing mcu spiderman and engaging with spiderverse stuff)

some daredevil stuff (most knowledge is from mcu)

and some avengers stuff (most knowledge is also from mcu 😭)

the owl house

interest for this is simmering in the background right now but we still post about it regularly

ut/dr. mostly undertale haha

& some other stuff too but we'll most talk about the above here until our interest inevitably changes!

I 100% subscribe to the idea that Tim and Damian are both autistic, just in the opposite direction which causes friction between them

They’re autistic in the way that pisses the other off

Tim messy room from executive dysfunction VS Damian neat room from need for order/cleanliness

Tim likes bland simple foods (to avoid being overwhelmed) VS Damian who needs lots of flavor or else feels like he’s eating cardboard (because he needs stimulation)

Tim is very sarcastic VS Damian who often doesn’t pick up on it and it flies over his head

Tim has never not masked a day in his life (which leads to his perpetual exhaustion) VS Damian who has very flat tone and facial expressions

Tim needs background noise to help him focus (music, rain, etc) VS Damian who needs complete silence to focus

Tim paces as a stim VS Damian who gets agitated by the distracting movements

Tim avoids animals because he can’t stand having drool/fur on him or his clothes VS Damian who adores animals and finds their presence comforting

They do have some similarities though

Both have special interests (although in different subjects)

Both are very particular about textures with clothing and bedsheets/blankets

Both favor dim lighting due to sensory issues

Both need alone time

Both hate other people being in their private space

Both touch starved and touch averse at the same time (and being very particular about what kind of touch is good vs bad, and what circumstances touch is allowed in, etc)

Both have Bruce as a father who is also autistic, and because of that diagnosis is delayed because they compare their “normalness” to him and other family members (who are also ND in someway)

Both can struggle to tell whether someone is joking/teasing or serious which leads to a lot of miscommunication between them (and the multiple past murder attempts do NOT help)

They do love and care about each other (though they will never admit it), but can only enjoy spending time together in small doses since a lot of their autistic traits are incompatible with the other’s. But they can also bond over their autism which is cute <3

The irony of people being baffled by DC having Bruce being abusive and nobody never addressed it again or it's excused extremely easily, because they can't understand that morality is subjective, and people don't all agree about what is abusive and what isn't (in art school, one of my teacher was a comics writer and he defended hitting children as not being abusive. He is far from the only one), than turning around and writing posts and fics where the batfam say and do stuffs that my family did, were abusive and I'm still healing from that, but painting it as normal and with no effects.

I'm not saying what Bruce is doing sometimes isn't abusive, I'm saying "we don't live in a world where everyone is on the same page about what is abuse"

A DPxDC prompt I Guess?

So, like, I'm half asleep and I have work in 40 minutes but like what if Ra's were to FINALLY die and Batsy and his family were there by coincidence to watch as Phantom took his soul. Maybe they were kidnapped or they were investigating if Ra's truly came back. Again.

Like, newly crowned King Phantom was going over all the paperwork Pariah Dark didn't bother doing. And while doing it he finds a list of people who escaped death though a Lazarus Pit and on top of that list is Ra's. So Danny looks into who Ra's is and what the fuck a Lazuras Pit is. He isn't happy with the info he finds. Claimed the pits, formed an assasination cult following yada yada.

Pits are pools of waters that had become contaminated with ectoplasm when a natural portal accsedently opened inside. Turns out that this random dude just so happened to find it and found it could heal so he claimed it for himself. Due to the greed and amount of death that was submerged into the waters it had become contaminated causing horrible side effects.

So Danny decides it was finally time to collect the dude's soul and destroy these pits and he's not escaping death this time and Pariah Dark should of done his damn job. After all, everyone who has used the Pit has a ghost core that is unable to develop properly because of the contamination of the Pits corrupted ectoplasm and that falls under his jurisdiction.

He even decides on hunting down everyone who used the pit, so Danny being himself looks into everyone who's used the pit and goddamn there's so many people, and many of them have used it more than once. So to spare himself a headache, he decides to just get everyone who's used it more than twice and fuck, it's still a long list but it'll have to do.

So now Danny is left cleaning up all the shit Pariah Dark didn't do, starting with destroying the pits and oh look, half his targets, including Ra's is nearby, might as well get em too while he's at it.

So now Danny is just floating around the league base collecting souls like fucking pokemon cards.

Batfam is baffled and disturbed by the trail of dead bodies. Those who are alive are terrified, curled into a ball, begging for forgiveness and thanking Death for sparing them.

The group decides to continue with caution. As they near the Pit they hear people talking, well, more like arguing really. They lean against the walls of the cave and listen in.

Ra's is arguing with Danny, trying to strike up a deal with him so he can continue to live. He's obviously desperate but the Ghost King won't budge and it's making him angrier.

Meanwhile Danny is just over it already, the dude can't offer him anything he'd actually want anyway, but is humering him cause he's pretty bored. He thought this would be more interesting considering they are all assassins.

Eventually Ra's gets fed up and tries attacking Danny but his attacks just go through him nd Danny just rolls his eyes.

"Listen dude, you've escaped death for way too long and I'm just doin my job taking your souls." He just swoops in, taking the soul, the body falling over like a puppet with it's strings cut.

That's when the Batfam decide to make themselves known, cause this unknown has just killed Ra's and apparently killed everyone else they saw too.

Danny is surprised to see Batman and his group here. He's doing his best to control the fanboying, but he doesn't really succeed as he's floating around them with a huge grin complementing them with how cool they are.

This is when the group takes in the unknowns appearance. White hair that flowed as if it were under water and sparked off at the ends like fire. Brilliant green eyes. A black and white hazmat suit. Pointed ears and teeth. He looked young, maybe 17 or 18. Pale, sickly pale skin.

Batman cuts in on the boys speaking, asking why he killed all those people and who he was. Danny sobers up and floats a few inches away, back straight.

"They have used the pits for too long, so I'm collecting what's not meant to be alive." He pretends to not notice as the family crowds slightly closer to Jason. He knows who he is. He did his research on everyone who was dunked into the pit, plus he can feel the Ecto contamination on him and his corrupted, unfinished sickly core.

Batman is mad, saying stuff like "you have no right to kill all those people, who made you the judge? They should be put through the justice system where they will receive their punishment fairly" Or something like that.

Danny gets upset cause Batman is basically walking all over the laws of his people by basically telling him 'your laws are stupid, do it like this' which is the equivalent of 'Gotham doesn't need Batman, we have cops' so he bares his teeth and lets out a small growl in warning.

"You have no right to meddle in business that doesn't pertain to you."

"You are killing people, how does that not pertain to me?"

"These people were already half dead to begin with. They had no right to escape death nor to use these pits that belong to my people, of which they have contaminated with their greed. I have simply come to gather them back up and bring them back to where they belong."

"Your people?"

"The pits are contaminated?"

"Your pits?"

"Where do they belong?"

"Who even are you?"

Danny allows for the invisibility on his accessories to fall. The crown of fire is the first to appear, the green flames form the shape of the crown, sparks flying about in a calm rhythm. His white cape, clasped around his neck by a button in the shape of an hourglass, flowed down his back. The inside was a pitch black that held slowly moveing stars and galaxies. The ring on his left hand flowed a brilliant green.

"I am the king of the Ghost Zone, or as you may know it, the infinite realms. I am known as Phantom. Those who have fallen into these corrupted pits have corrupted,sickly cores of which make them part ghost, of which are my people. I am simply taking them back to where they belong and getting rid of these pits. Something my predecessor should have done. This has nothing to do with the living. Now if you'll excuse me"

Danny holds up a cupped hand. The waters of the pit begin to splash and whirl before the ectoplasm seperates itself and comes flying up into his hand, condensing and shapeing into a sphere. He creates his own ecto ball in his free hand, the color a softer green than that of the toxic green of the pits.

Slowly he mixes the two together causing the toxic green to slowly turn the same color and murge with his ecto ball before eating it. did he have to eat it? No, absolutely not, but he just wanted to freak out the bats more, and the look of horror that fell upon most of their faces was totally worth it. Even Batman's lips parted slightly in shock.

With that, Phantom bids them a ferwell and disappears before their eyes. He can't wait to tell Sam and Tucker that he met and scared the Batman.

Meanwhile the bat family is freaking out because, "What the absolute fuck just happened?!"

Damian is arrogant, annoying, harsh, a bit violent and very smart brat and i love him for his entire personality i mostly related to of all robins.

i don't expect him to act like lil pussy. BC HE'S FUCKING NOT. HE NEVER WILL ACT LIKE THAT. even if he has one(i mean pussy). it ruins entire character and after THIS you say that you love him? bitch tf wich one? are we talking about the same character???

Bruce is canonically neurodivergent, with at least anxiety and ocd, and possibly autism. So, yeah, 100% he would teach his kids how to interact with nd kids. He had also reclaimed "insane" and "crazy" so many times while talking about himself, he admits without issues that he is not an example of mentally well.

Depression also making people nd as it fucks with your brain, especially if you grow up with it, and Tim has depression as a teenager canonically (he has a storyline that is just suicide prevention where he calls Dick at the end). I think Dick also suffers from depression canonically at one point.

Jean-Paul (Azrael. Yes, he is a batfam member) canonically suffers from schizophrenia as a result of his upbringing (hypnotized to be a killer)

There are lil chances that Damian isn't neurodivergent because of his time in the league. For reminders, neurodivergency is when the human brain is altered from it's "typical" form. A lot of mental disorders (did, schizophrenia, ocd, bpd, etc...) are the results of abuse in early childhood, because this is when our brains are the most fragile. So, from living in the League until he was 10, Damian has some trauma and his brain should wear the scars.

In the same logic, Cass is also nd. Like, she only started having a, kind of, normal life at 17, so her brain cannot be typical.

But also, they are all paranoid (to different level, but at least suffering from anxiety), and that is also a neurodivergency. None of them are neurotypical, it is just impossible.

I gotta share this thing I traumatized my roommate with earlier tonight. There's some lead up– it's not needed to understand –but I want to because I feel like it's equally important to me. I was reading this fic where Dick Grayson Nightwing has to help guide a lost kid back home at night. Usually, it's too much of a problem, he could do that in his sleep. But the kid is neurodivergent, autism spectrum, and he handles it so well and is so sweet despite probably never meeting an autistic child before. He even lets them count the stitches on his uniform to calm them down from panicking too hard– Anyway. I started thinking, what if some of the bat fam were neurodivergent.

I'm clocking Dick as ADHD right now, no one will probably argue with me on that. Dude might as well be the fucking poster boy for ADHD everywhere.

Jason was a little harder, but I feel like he'd have DID, Dissociative Identity Disorder, I'm pretty sure it was kind of hinted on in one movie. I can't remember now, but it fell off the face of the earth somewhere and I want to singlehandedly bring that back.

Tim gives me Autism vibes, but literally the super smart number based autism. And I'm jealous of him every day.

Damian is normal. I want him to be neurotypical for the sole purpose of it being fucking funny. The guys you'd think are cool, normal guys all have their quirks, their flaws. But it's explained because they're neurodivergent, they can't help that. And then you'd look at the youngest, think there's something "wrong" with him, that he must be neuro spicy too–

No. No, he just has anger management problems. That's it. Normal child, very typical. Just angry.

A/n: I love getting requests for Damian and generally any of my favorite characters from shows/movies. Especially when I get to write for specific types of readers (ex: ballerina!reader) because I like looking up stuff to include in the story! I’ve also noticed how my formatting of my stories change with the stories, like there is some consistency but not a lot, Y’know?

Damian Wayne wasn’t one for distractions. His life had been built on discipline, precision, and a resolve far beyond his years. Yet, for reasons he couldn’t quite pinpoint, he found himself regularly at Gotham City Ballet, watching you.

It had started innocently enough. He had accompanied you once, claiming he needed to ensure your safety as you walked through the dark streets of Gotham. But after that first time, something kept pulling him back. Maybe it was the grace in your movements, the way you seemed to defy gravity with every leap and pirouette, or perhaps it was the quiet contentment he felt in your presence, a rare feeling for someone like him.

You’d catch him sometimes, leaning against the doorframe of the practice room, arms crossed, expression unreadable. “You know, you don’t have to keep coming,” you’d tease, wiping the sweat from your brow.

“I’m simply ensuring you’re not slacking in your training,” he’d reply, the hint of a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. But in truth, he admired your dedication, your focus—traits he valued in himself.

One day, after practice, you sat beside him on the worn wooden bench outside the studio. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the city, softening the harsh lines of the buildings. Damian was unusually quiet, even for him, staring out at the horizon as if deep in thought.

“You know,” you started, breaking the silence, “I appreciate you being here. It means a lot.”

He glanced at you, his sharp green eyes softening just a fraction. “It’s nothing,” he replied, but the words felt heavier than usual.

“No, it’s not nothing,” you insisted, a gentle smile on your lips. “You’re always here, watching. It’s like you care or something.”

Damian felt his heart skip—a rare, unfamiliar sensation. But he maintained his stoic demeanor, merely raising an eyebrow. “Don’t be ridiculous,” he muttered, but you could see the faintest hint of a blush creeping up his neck.

You laughed softly, the sound like music to his ears. “Okay, okay, tough guy. But seriously, I’m glad we’re friends.”

Friends. The word hung in the air between you. Damian had never had many of those, never allowed himself the luxury. Yet, with you, it felt different. There was no pressure, no expectations. Just… peace. He didn’t need to say anything more; you seemed to understand him without words.

As you leaned back on the bench, your shoulder brushing against his, Damian felt an odd warmth settle in his chest. He wasn’t sure what it meant, or why it felt so significant. But for now, he let it be, content to simply sit beside you, watching the sun dip below the skyline, the weight of the world momentarily lifting from his shoulders.

In that moment, he didn’t need to be the son of Batman, the heir to the League of Assassins. He was just Damian, a boy quietly, contentedly falling for his best friend. And that, he decided, was enough.

A/n: does anyone know where I can watch more Batman/batfam movies/slash shows? I have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney plus and like miscellaneous apps to watch movies on but they’re almost always unavailable on those platforms. I plan on creating like a schedule for when I post because I go back to school soon, I was supposed to go back yesterday but my mom forgot to register me so.
