The Khura’inese and "regular" Judges’ dialogue totals are combined in the graphs above, so here’s what their specific totals are:

Khura’inese Judge: 14,510 words (putting his total just behind Rayfa’s)

OG Judge: 7,786 words in the base game (a bit more than Ema has), which increases to 11,667 if you include Turnabout Time Traveler (more than Dhurke but slightly less than Maya)

Overall, there's just shy of 300,000 words of dialogue in the base game, which jumps up to about 355,000 if you include the "special" DLC case, Turnabout Time Traveler.

Data source: I’m using a dataset that I put together pulling from the episode transcripts on the Ace Attorney wiki (which I did almost entirely via Python, but with a bit of manual cleanup). There’s bound to be some error resulting from that process, but the numbers should be pretty close.

Kirishima's Mystique: Weapon XXX-23

Canada, the great white north, a vast wide little land consisting of regions such as Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec. Currently within the serene wildness of the Canadian rockies, our resident Red Riot and his cotton candy link Alien Queen were having themselves a little camping trip. Nothing said summer fan like gong hiking around a different country as the sturdy and acidic pair were busy setting up shop. Mina busy prepping the picnic spot and gathering up some kindling for a campfire, that is when she wasn’t busy stealing some glances at her man.

Sensually biting her lip as his tanktop did a grand job showing off that pair of gun shows he called his arms. Suffice to say that what was followed was an intense battle to say the least but numbers weren’t a problem when You had a duo like Pinky and Red Riot backing you up. Oh come on, you really think I’m gonna go into details about how the battle went?

Yeah I thought so, we all know what you’re all really here for so let’s get this show on the road, shall we? After the ragtag renegade band of villains were rounded up followed by some questions and statements with local law enforcement, the red and pink duo were soo back in their camp now with the added company of their new friend they'd saved. A young girl by the name of X-23, or Laura as she found most preferred to call her and to say her lifestory was complex and tragic was an understatement. But she wasn't one to dwell on the past, least compared to how she was then compared to now though it could be hard to tell with how calm, composed and stoic she was.

But she proved to be willing to try and socialise and it helped that Kirishima and Mina had a natural friendliness and affability about them that made them easy to like. Laura certainly had to say mina's peppy motor mouth and spunkiness rather reminded her of Jubilee in a way as the trio enjoyed some small talk and a little bit of the natural tranquillity and serenity of nature of course. Soon of course dusk began to make itself known as the Canadian wilderness became bathed in the fading light and shade of the setting sun as the trio enjoyed a little peace and quiet and making some s'mores around the campfire before Kirishima and Mina decided to call it a night but not before offering to set up a spare tent for Laura to enjoy some privacy as well as peace and quiet. Laura of course wasn't clueless or naive as she seemed to the duo and what they were really up to at this very moment. Hello hello! I am fine thanks I hope you are too Anon ^^ No worries this isn't a strange question I am happy if I can help :))

Unfortunately I won't have much advices to give for some stuff, especially 2d animation schools.

I am specialized in 3d rigging and my school was for 3D/Cg animation and in France, so I know it can't apply on schools in other countries since all of them have their speciality.

I personnaly had a big entrance exam, where I had animation history, English and General knowledges tests + an essay to pass for writing. An oral test with a teacher/professional where you have to show your portfolio etc and storyboards and still drawings (here it was objects) to do in one day. But it depends on each school so if you have one in mind (especially if it's in the US) you can find some portfolio reviews on youtube really easily ^^

I do think there is wayyy more tutorials/reviews for 2d animation school (if you want 2D check for Calarts, Sheridan and Les Gobelins for example there are tone of videos for them ^^)

For 3d/cg hmmm it's great to have started a little bit 3D before school (blender exists now it's free yayy) But otherwise you don't have to have insane drawing skill to go in compared to 2d animation schools (I mean of course but voila ahah) The school is here also to let you learn, so of course you don't have to know everything about 3d before but it's nice to know some stuff before. Knowledges of the history of FilmMaking/Cinema and animation is always great!

If you wanna start with great basis, I think for 3d artist it's of course Anatomy for sculptor that comes first which explain really well sculpting (and topology too If I remember correctly) They are also a lot of tutorials on youtube for blender and maya

I will be really honest but I am mostly specialized in 3D rigging which required more technical skills rather than artistic ones, compared to Texturing/Shading or Compositing for example.

In 3D you have differents jobs which can be classified like this (to take with a grain of salt of course, all specialities are both technical and artistic) and the more technical jobs you will have the more learning Coding is important too (but this can come after, just if you reallyyyyyyy want to do really advanced 3D/CG learning Python is always great)

For more general advices, I will say to just be curious ^^ Life isn't just about your job and people are always interested if you do sports/you go to museums/you watch movies etc. Idk for other countries but it was also pretty important for my school

And be aware that what is asked to the students change each year for the entrance exam (I passed mine when I was 17 so it was a long time ago already :') a lot of stuff must have changed)

Idk If I answered your question but that's all I can say for now. If you have more advanced question on CGI/3D I would probably be able to answer but not so much for 2D animation. And be aware that some jobs exist in both pipelines too! Like Storyboarders or Concept artists

Control Pickers

There's lots of great options for control pickers out there like AnimSchool Picker and MGPicker. I wanted to make my own to learn from some design challenges. Here's what I did so far:

Starting Out

In my haste to slap together a Qt UI with lots of parts I tried adopting QtDesigner, a tool for designing an interface visually. I quickly found the back and forth of maintaining 2 files, plus the resources, for one interface is not great. It does have its place though.

Instead, I opened up a file in Inkscape to draw some simple icons over this Playblast of the base controllers:

Then it was nailing down the placement and behavior of the icons. For this I pulled from the QPushButton class to make togglable image button: https://gist.github.com/Ghalban/3971483a9ec67d6ab8986ff5faa066a0

Its dirty and hacky but works well enough to give some visual feedback for what is selected. Much thanks to Perry for the tip that the buttons can be "checked" for a toggled state.

Next Challenges

A clear problem is when selections are made outside the UI. I need to make a refresh option that will reflect the changes in selection done in the viewport itself.

Setting up a toggle for the ik-fk switching, that would alter the selectability of the icons to match what is visible in the viewport.
