I've decided to draw the Mario Family from the movie, as well as gave some of the members headcanon names!
Here is a non-text version and a couple o close ups
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some other headcanons I've come up with in the cut! (I just copy and pasted what I wrote on DeviantArt)
It's confirmed that Maurizio, Tony and Arthur are brothers, so it's clear that Lucy and Marie married into the family. My headcanon is that Marie married Arthur and had Nicola while Tony is single and ready to mingle. Stefano, along with his deceased wife, were immigrants from Sicily and Southern Italy respectively, making Maurizio, Arthur, and Tony second gen immigrants, and Mario, Luigi and Nicola third gen. Nicola is a little over a decade younger than Mario and Luigi.
I gave Tony green eyes because I thought he had green eyes to match Luigi's appearance in the Mario cartoons, but then realized it was just his glasses lens being tinted yellow. I still like that idea, so I went with it.
My headcanon for this particular piece is that Mario and Luigi's plumbing business became so successful since the incident that they surprised the family with a trip to Sicily...and maaaaybe they also have a few Mushroom Kingdom coins to cover some expenses...hey, gold is gold, right?

Hi! You saw preg Bowuigi, but may I present to you… preg Mareach ✨
The thought won't leave my mind after I mindlessly drew Mario asking Luigi how is it to be pregnant and then it escalated from there 😔
So! Here's some headcanons (that you can find too in the drawings) for this:
Edit! I deleted the suggestive-y ideas to make it more all viewers-friendly, sorry!
-Mario and Luigi's mamma and uncle are twins, so they have this 'twin gene', and it just so happens that Mario got twins first try and Luigi didn’t.
-Mario has thoughts when seeing his bro expecting, he develops a serious case of baby fever that he refuses to tell anyone about. Like he catches himself thinking about him and Peach expecting and her acting in the overly attentive way that Bowser does, or thinking of a tiny blonde baby with a button nose and blue-sky eyes. He feels a bit guilty about these thoughts.
-Luigi eventually pries the information out of Mario and tries to convince him to talk to Peach about it, that she’d be understanding even if she doesn’t like the idea. Mario’s stubborn and just doesn’t and feels bad for wanting a baby too just because his bro is going to have one.
-To Mario’s surprise (and relief) it’s Peach who mentions the idea of having children (he feels a bit embarrassed that she easily used the exact words he scolded himself for: “I want a baby”), so they shyly entertain the idea.  And they decide they'd like to be parents in the future.
-When Magma (that's the Bowuigi baby's name!) grows and gets to the toddler stage, Mario finally decides that they could start trying.
-(Corny and I pulled this from Deadpool 2 but) He gives the 'green light' to Peach as a sort of anniversary gift and she's so happy she jumps in place and holds him to her chest and rambles about what to name the baby and how they'd look and what they'll do together and– Mario jokingly reminds her that first she's gotta put a baby in him for that to happen.
-Luigi is really excited when Mario and Peach tell him that they’re expecting. He hugs them both and says he can’t wait to finally be an uncle, and that they’ll be great parents.
-Luigi spoils his bro the same way Mario did with him when he was expecting Magma, like baking him treats and his favorite foods whenever they’re at their house and overall being a very good bro.
-Soon Peach arranges a room to make a nursery and plans how it’ll be.
-When they discover it's twins she makes arrangements again to adapt it for two babies, assigning a color to each baby’s things, because she thinks that Mario and Luigi having their signature colors is adorable.
-When they’re back from the doctor after discovering they’ll have twins, they’re both happily thinking about two children. Peach of snuggly wrapped little babies with round noses and brunette hair, and Mario for some reason thinks of two blonde toddlers with matching hats and blue overalls.
-Mario's belly looks big soon and Peach is over the moon because he's so round and handsome.
-He's so shaped.
-Due to almost all of the Mushroom Kingdom citizens being small Mario often loses sight of them, especially when talking to toads. They love to stand close and right in front of him, even if Mario tells them to stand at his side so he can see them. Mario's pretty sure not even the toads can see him over his belly and yet they don't listen.
-Mario lives at Peach's castle but he and Luigi still kinda often stay at their own little house at the outskirts of Toad Town. Luigi sometimes goes by himself or brings some of his children. They like to have some kind of peace apart from their families and the royalness of it all. (Thinking about the fact that Bowser went on a vacation by himself as Junior said once in a game sjdks)
-Peach is very excited for the babies and she always asks for permission to caress his belly and to hold it and to kiss it. She talks a lot to the babies too, even at times holding very long one-sided conversations with them while Mario listens in with an absolutely besotted smile.
-Many nights, when Mario's sprawled on his side with his arms in weird positions and snoring away and Peach's at his back holding him, she mumbles on and on sweet words to her children and her boyfriend, and holds Mario closely.
-Ever since they know he's expecting, Peach randomly suggests baby names to Mario, who shakes his head or actually explains why he doesn't like them. She suggests one day a couple of names just for funsies and to her surprise Mario loves them.
-Peach leaves their bed very early to focus on her royal duties all morning, while Mario's asleep almost until midday surrounded by an insane amount of red and pink pillows.
-Peach eats red power up mushrooms to be able to easily carry Mario around when he gets too tired, that way she doesn't get tired either.
-Late on Mario gets the 'pregnancy brain', he forgets things and sometimes does stupid stuff. Once at their house he dropped a fork, and since it never crossed his mind to ask for help or pick another one from the kitchen cabinet, he ended up stuck in a crouch when trying to reach it, yelling for Luigi to come help him up.
-Donkey Kong and Mario are mean besties, and DK often teases Mario and vice versa. Like DK purposefully drops something and asks in a faux nice voice for Mario to pick it up for him, then does the laugh™ as Mario stares at him unamused.
-DK used to (gently) push Mario to sit in soft furniture and laugh at him for getting stuck. Mario would sulk and cross his arms over his belly until the stupid monkey dignified himself to help him up. Until DK did it one day that Mario had been particularly tired about the pregnancy, and besides the usual reaction he also got misty-eyed and his lower lip wobbled. DK freaked out and couldn't figure out how to console him as Mario silently cried. Peach almost obliterated DK on the spot when she caught them.
-Since then DK isn't as mean with Mario until the babies are born weeks later. Also, he's a bit terrified of Peach now.
-Magma, who's still a toddler, often asks her uncle-mama when the babies are going to come out of his belly so she can meet them.
-They have twin girls! They're identical when they're babies and kids but when they grow older they have more noticiable differences (like height, same as Mario and Luigi and their mom and uncle)
-They’re Nettarina and Mariella. Sadly I don’t care how silly the names are, I like them and so does Mario aksjdksajd
-Mario has strong genes so their babies look a lot more like him than Peach (who’s glad, because she wanted to have two mini Marios!), although he hoped they’d look more like her.
-Mario is already fat and he gets even fatter with the pregnancy.
-The girls (and Magma too) speak fluent italian and english.
And that’s what I have so far! I know i missed some characters that I could have mentioned like Daisy or Toad and others, but maybe I’ll think of them too for another post c:
I hope you liked them, and if you have any other ideas or headcanons feel free to share them, I’d love to know!

I saw a post the other day that I couldn’t reblog because OP has me blocked (Very Fair) but I haven’t stopped thinking about it actually so I’m just gonna paraphrase it here
It started with OP complaining about the “Lu” nickname replacing “Weegie” in the Mario movie, because the whole context behind the “Weegie” nickname is it’s what Mario’s been calling Luigi sense they were babies (because the hard L is a hard sound for babies to make) so it’s like a nostalgic/sentimental comfort
Then someone else comes into the post and implies maybe Mario does still use “Weegie” but in a more. Private way. Like a behind closed doors, just the two of them nickname. They went on to say because it’s Babyish and would be Embarrassing to the Bros to say in front of other people but like.
You’re going to say to me “The Brothers have secret Private nicknames for eachother they don’t use in front of anyone else” and expect me to be normal about that? Okay.

Guys I have a question, the thing about Mario and Luigi’s niece in the movie is like a translation mistake? Because isn’t a niece the daughter of someone’s sibling? If she is aunt Marie and uncle Arthur’s child, wouldn’t that make her Mario and Luigi’s cousin?
Unless they are her godfathers by like decisions, she should be their cousin right? Not their niece?
Im so confused

I’m so obsessed with the Mario family and while I’m a very hard Uncle Tony stan I’m also insanely obsessed with Auntie Marie and her daughter. I want to know all about them.

Today’s Headcanons: Mario & Luigi’s Family (Mostly their parents)
Mario & Luigi’s parents are named Pio and Mia.(This is sort of semi-canonish? I dunno if Charles Martinet was going for actual names when he said those or just referencing the “mamma mia” phrase by calling them “Mama Mia and Papa Pio”— and also he’s not really in charge of lore— but those ARE actual Italian names.) Pio’s associated color is brown, Mia’s is teal.
Mia and Pio were both born in America (or Metro Kingdom), but their parents were born in Italy (or Luncheon Kingdom).
Pio’s middle name is Carlo, Mia’s is Martina (Mia Martina Mario. How’s that for alliteration.) Mario’s is Albano and Luigi’s is Daniele. M&L’s grandparents didn’t have middle names, but gave them to their children to assimilate a little more into American culture.
Pio was in the Air Force, and his nickname during that time was “Talon”.
Mia’s maiden name is D’Ovidio. She has an older half-sister named Loretta. They don’t see each other very often now, but they were close growing up.
Pio is the oldest of his brothers, Tony is the middle child and Arthur is the youngest.
Pio was the overachiever of the three previous-generation Mario brothers, and always pretty serious in mood. Tony and Arthur were kinda slackers and jokesters in comparison, and Pio was always on their case about it. Possibly as a result of that, Tony and Arthur have a bit closer of a relationship with each other than with their big brother.
Pio is extremely proud of his heritage. He’s one of those dads who’s all about family history and culture and stuff. (This may be in part due to growing up with a less “American” name than his brothers— see also the fact that he did not Americanize his sons’ names.) This isn’t to say Arthur and Tony AREN’T proud of being Italian, but Pio makes it a big part of his personality.
Mario and Luigi have a sister/cousin/niece (possibly the one we see) named Marina (off Marin/Malon from Zelda).
M&L’s grandpa is named Giampiero, and his boxing name was “Little Italy”. After retiring, he trained a young Doc Louis.
Pio loves his sons very much, but he’s also more of a cynic and pragmatist than they are.

"These dreams are growing more real as time goes on." The woman suddenly said. Luigi turned to her, tilting his head in confusion.
"Dreams? What do you mean dreams?" He asked. For the second time, she looked up. Her eyes were weary and tired, and yet... There was something familiar in them. That robin's egg blue was so reminiscent of Mario's, it made Luigi's heart jump. She smiled at him, the softness of it reminding him of his dear sister in law.
"Of course. How else could you be here, looking just how I remembered you as a child?" She replied. Memories of an ecstatic Mario shaking Luigi like a ragdoll and exclaiming that he was going to be a father rang in Luigi's mind. No, surely not.
"Why, you haven't even grown your beard yet, Uncle." Luigi swallowed the lump in his throat.
"Is...Is your name... Rosalina?" He asked. She nodded happily.
"Yes, but don't you remember me? Oh, what am I thinking?" She turned away, smiling sadly to herself as she rested her hand against her cheek.
"I must not have been born yet, in your timeline." Luigi could only stare. His niece? Peach had barely started showing when he and Bowser left, and yet here she was. An adult. Sitting right in front of him.
"Rosalina, what's going on? How am I here? Why are you here?" He asked. Rosalina let out a quiet laugh.
"Oh, well, my story is a bit of a long one. To make things simpler, space can sometimes...play tricks on us. It can mess up timelines. Ancestors can meet descendants, uncles can meet nieces before they're born. I like to think that the stars brought you here to me, so that I may find some happiness. Mind you, I know you cannot stay, but the mere memory of you being here has already done wonders for my heart." Luigi looked around. The long train of hair began to glow, and soon they were basked in ethereal light. Rosalina stood, movements light and graceful as if she were underwater.
Luigi rose with her, and the star aliens all cooed around Rosalina happily. Rosalina's bangs were swept back by an invisible force, revealing her left eye, and the fact that she had the same swooping bangs as her father.
Seeing so much of Mario in his niece made Luigi's heart swell, and he grasped her hand. As she looked at him questioningly, he said:
"You've got the best of both parents, Rosie." Rosalina's eyes widened, and she pressed a free hand over her mouth as tears sprang forth.
"I've not heard that nickname in so long... It truly is good to see you, Uncle." She grasped his arm excitedly.
"Now come! I must show you my library! I just know you'll love it, and we can use the observatory to find Uncle Bowser!" Luigi followed his niece up the hill with a disbelieving chuckle. Boy, he couldn't wait to tell Mario and Peach about this.
Luigi awoke with a groan. The last thing he remembered was being on Bowser's ship; they were going on a much-needed vacation amongst the stars. An asteroid had careened towards them from nowhere, and Luigi had been thrown from the deck.
Now, it was obvious that he was in fact not on Bowser's ship. Soft grass tickled his cheek, and a distressed squeaking noise coaxed his eyes open.
In front of him was a small glowing starlike creature with big sad eyes. It bobbed in the air, squeaking again. Luigi slowly sat up, grunting in pain. He spotted his cloak near a rock, stumbling to his feet and throwing it over his shoulders.
The human took in his surroundings; all around him there were grassy fields dotted with deep red flowers and large jagged rocks that stood out against the sky. The stars provided little light, yet the planet itself was as brightly lit as the Mushroom Kingdom during the day. Making a small "Hm." noise, Luigi turned to the star.
"Hey there." He said. "Have you seen a ship, by any chance?" The star made distressed blubbering sounds, and looked close to tears. Luigi held his hand out to it.
"Hey, it's ok. I'm ok, promise!" The star seemed to calm down a bit, then floated to him and grasped his sleeve. It squeaked and warbled, pulling him towards a hill. Chuckling, Luigi let the strange alien lead him up. As they neared the top, however, his smile fell.
Below a tree at the hilltop,a woman in a flowing blue dress sat with a forlorn expression. Four other stars surrounded her, one cradled in her arms, and one seemingly sleeping in her hair. Silvery white hair that cascaded all around her, reminding Luigi of Rapunzel.
Looking closer, Luigi realized that the woman as well as her glowing companions all looked so...tired. she was motionless, and Luigi couldn't tell if she was even breathing.
"Um...hello?" He tried. No response. Then, Luigi saw her shudder. He immediately pulled off his cloak, approaching the woman and draping it over her. At this, she stirred. Her eyes opened just a tad, and she met his gaze wearily.
"Mmh?"
"Hey, are you ok?" The woman stared at him, as if trying to decide if he was real. When she didn't answer, Luigi pulled the cloak tighter around her, promising that it would be ok.
"My husband's got to be looking for me; when he gets here we can get you and your friends some help." He assured, sitting beside her. She hummed, leaning into him. As three of the stars settled in his lap, Luigi sighed. He knew Bowser would find him, even among the vast expanse of space. Feeling the young woman beside him sigh, Luigi had a strange feeling that their meeting was no accident.

YES! GOOD! I’m going to just going to analyze the whole dinner scene, because it’s one of my favorite parts of the movie.
Tumblr media
Mario and Luigi walk in, and immediately the whole room lights up to greet them. Despite everything that follows, one thing is clear: The Mario Brothers are happy to see their family, and the family is happy to see them.
The whole family confirms that they watched their commercial. Everyone except their mom insists the commercial was a bad idea, but the fact that they all watched it speaks to the fact that there is no indifference regarding Mario and Luigi’s dream. They’re eager to see where this endeavor leads, even if they think it’s going to end in failure.
The moment Mario and Luigi sit down at the table, their uncles begin laying into them like it’s open season on financially struggling plumbers. Just full blown, no-holds-barred roast mode on their nephews.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mario is on the defensive, but he doesn’t get angry, he’s just trying to argue his side. Clearly this is typical behavior for Uncle Tony and Uncle Arthur. They’re loud, overly honest, and obnoxiously confident in their opinions. Uncle Arthur, thankfully, has his wife to keep him in check. Uncle Tony, however, who is seated next to poor Luigi, is an absolute menace.
Luigi ignores all the teasing. He is only interested in getting food, but this is not an easy task. Tony’s verbal arguments are all directed at Mario, but Luigi is the one who gets prodded and shoved around, and that makes getting dinner next to impossible.
Luigi attempts to serve himself salad, attempts to ask for a roll, attempts to eat the mushrooms being put on his plate, and at every turn he’s either pushed away or talked over. He is clearly very soft spoken compared to the other men in his family, and never quite had the strength to stand up for himself... after all, everyone means well, they just lack self awareness. It isn’t worth the fight.
Thankfully, Luigi’s mom comes to the rescue, and puts a bowl of soup in front of her boy. She’s the queen of the caretaker role, making sure all the loose ends are tied up and that everybody eats.
Tumblr media
But on the flip side, it’s interesting to note that once the uncles start tearing into Mario, Mario’s Dad serves him up a plate of food. He may have just been serving the person next to him because that was the polite thing to do, but I have a theory...
I think that this wasn’t the first night that Mario and his uncles went at each other. I think Mario’s Dad read the room, and figured that if Mario was going to spend dinner playing defense, he should at least remember to eat while doing so.
It also speaks volumes that Mario’s Dad doesn’t voice his disapproval until Mario asks for his opinion. Before then he avoids the subject and lets everyone else do the talking, but so long as he’s being questioned directly, he can’t help but be honest.
Tumblr media
“I think... you’re nuts. You don’t quit a steady job for some crazy dream.” This sounds like a voice of experience. Mario’s Dad has the figure of someone who has worked physical labor for a good portion of his life (look the size of those arms). He may have had dreams of his own when he was younger, but he had a wife and kids to worry about, and family took priority.
Speaking of family taking priority: “... and the worst part? You’re bringing your brother down with you.” That settles it. The conversation has gone from a casual roast session to dead serious. The entire room falls quiet as Mario puts down his fork and storms off.
“What’d I say?” Everybody at the table (except the niece, she’s long since checked out) gives Mario’s Dad different versions of the look™. Uncle Tony and Uncle Arthur have the same “Jesus Christ bro, you didn’t have to go there” expression, and Luigi just looks hurt on Mario’s behalf. His Dad, however, is just confused.
He didn’t get the gravity of what he said. His relationship with his own brothers– loudmouthed schmucks who call their own shots – is completely alien to what Luigi and Mario have. He probably knows Mario is protective of Luigi, but he doesn’t realize the depth of responsibility Mario feels for him. Anyone can see that Luigi is loyal to his brother, but Mario alone knows how loyal he is, and the implication that he’s betraying that loyalty is intensely painful.
Tumblr media
I doubt Uncle Arthur and Uncle Tony truly relate to Mario and Luigi’s relationship either, but they’ve probably teased Mario enough to understand one thing: bringing Luigi into it is a line you do not cross.
Conclusion:
There is a lot of love in the Mario family.
Uncle Tony and Uncle Arthur are definitely the most insufferable of the bunch, but there is no malice in their teasing. While they are brash and overbearing, it’s all in good fun, and they get visibly uncomfortable when things go too far and someone actually ends up hurt.
Luigi seems to take after his mother; kind, nonconfrontational, and happily invested in a supporting role. While his Mom cares for and assists the family, Luigi cares for and assists his brother, both emotionally and in his business ventures.
Mario, in the meantime, takes after his Dad, who appears to be the oldest of the three brothers. He doesn’t always think before speaking, but he isn’t constantly running his mouth like Arthur or Tony, and acts with the gravity of someone who bears a lot of responsibility. He doesn’t quite “get” his sons, but he knows enough to see that Luigi follows his brother everywhere, and Mario does not always think before jumping into things. Despite what Mario may believe, his Dad doesn’t see him as a “joke” so much as he sees him as an impulsive young man who doesn’t grasp the consequences of his actions. But Mario does understand the consequences of his actions, he just dreams big, and... thanks to Luigi... actually has the support he needs to pursue those dreams.

Currently working on a Dad Mario comic, and I wanted to share a little headcanon
Clementine would be the luckiest niece in the world. Why? Her uncle Luigi is a very talented inventor. He'd make the coolest toys for his little baby niece :] Like this little working car here
Tumblr media
And plenty of other toys that just makes Clementine so happy,,, Luigi adores her little face lighting up every time he comes over with a new toy, just for her :)

A bunch of Mario Family headcanons:
Because I think a very normal amount about the larger Mario family and very very very much want The Super Mario Brothers Super Show Reboot all about them
G-Poppy and his wife moved to American from Italy in their 20′s, making Mario and Luigi third generation immigrants
G-Poppy’s dream was to own and run an authentic Italian a Restaurant in America, but after the birth of his oldest son, Pio, the need for quick cash to pay rent was more pressing, thus why he got into Boxing
Papa Mario’s full name is Pio Mario Jr, he’s named after G-Poppy
Pio is a good 5-6 years older than his younger brothers, Arthur and Tony, who are only a year apart at most
Sense bills were tight, Pio spent a lot of his childhood being another income to the house hold, working hard labor work like construction to keep the family afloat while his brothers were young
Eventually G-Poppy got too old for wrestling and finally realized his dream of opening a Restaurant; Punch-Out Pizza. This put the family in more financial struggle, forcing Pio to take up more work while Arthur and Tony helped in the Restaurant
Now that G-Poppy is retired Arthur and Tony run the business together. Arthur’s the finance guy, where Tony runs deliveries and hands on manages other employees
It was actually their Grandmother who made Mario and Luigi’s caps for them, she’s also made G-Poppy’s. She passed before Louisiana was born, thus why she couldn’t make her a cap as well
Tony’s a huge horror movie buff, he loves old classics and has a huge VHS collection. Part of the reason Luigi is so scared of the paranormal is from catching glimpses or watching whole movies with Uncle Tony growing up
Another big part of Luigi’s fear though may just come from Uncle Tony loving to scare him. A big pass time for Tony was waiting around corners in Halloween masks to jump scare Luigi, or telling him ghost stories any change he got
Mario also got a bad fear from Uncle Tony’s movies; Pianos. He’d just happened to catch a pretty nasty scene of the lid of a Grand Piano crushing someone when he was younger and it stuck with him pretty hard
Louisiana is about 11-12 years younger than Mario and Luigi, so despite being cousins the three have a hard time relating to one another from the large age gap
Louisiana prefers to go by Louise, though only Mario and Luigi call her that. She was also the first one in the family to use the “Lou” nickname for Luigi, which Mario quickly also picked up
Arthur loves baseball, the Mets especially, but really he’ll watch any team play. He regrets not being on his school’s baseball team when he was younger, due to having to help at the restaurant, thus why he signed his daughter Louisiana up as soon as she was old enough. She’s stuck with it to keep her dad happy
Mia makes 90% of the meals in the Mario household, with the occasional help from Arthur. She learned most her dishes from her own mom, and a good deal more from Pio’s mother after marrying into the family
Marie is absolute rubbish in the kitchen. Mia’s given her multiple lessons and had her help with dinner many times around when she was expecting Louisiana, but she rarely made anything edible. The only one who ate her meals was Arthur, who just wanted to support his wife with all he had, even if it made him ill (which it did. Many times. Tony made fun of him for it)
Tony loves to work on machinery, mostly motorcycles, and has bounced around working part time as a mechanic here and there before his duties at the restaurant drag him back
Pio, Tony, and Mario are the only ones in the Mario family with a drivers license, though Tony was the only one who drove regularly until Mario bought the van
The Mario family owns 4 gaming devices; The Brother’s NES that they bought with their saved up chore money in Middle School, a Wii Marie and Mia do Wii Fit on in the living room, Uncle Tony’s PS2 that’s mostly collecting dust, and the Home Computer that Louise plays Roblox and Minecraft on
The Mario family apartment has 3 bedrooms; Pio and Mia’s, Arthur Marie and Louise’s, and Mario and Luigi’s. G-Poppy sleeps on a chair in the living room, and Tony sleeps on the couch
Louise has already called dibs on Mario and Luigi’s room when they move out, Tony says he prefers the couch anyway so he doesn’t mind
Pio pushes a lot of his own raising onto Mario, as the oldest he thinks Mario should be responsible, a support for the family, not chasing his own crazy dream that could crash down onto them into debt
On the flip side, Arthur puts a lot of what he wanted for himself onto Louisiana, pushing her to do new things and plays sports and do after school activities like he never got to do having to work in the Restaurant growing up
Tony’s the only one he sees this happening, and thus has stayed the fun uncle who’ll get you out of that thing you don’t want to do if asked. He’s listened to a lot of vents from the kids as he drives them from one activity to the next, and tries to remind them their parents are doing their best, and love them a lot. For everyone but Luigi that reminder fell on deaf ears
#Mario Movie#The Super Mario Brothers Movie#SMB Movie#Headcanon post#Long post#It's a little long but not like. too long I don't think#I dunno I was contemplating putting it under a Read More but#Eeeeeeeeeeh#It's not thaat long#Behold my big buncha Mario Family Dyanamic headcanoning#All typed while my computer was having a melt down and lagging for no particular reason#It's just having a fit at 4 in the morning#Apologies so much of this is about the Generational Trauma of Papa Pio Mario I feel a very specific way about him#I love them all soooooo much I am making them so complicated for no reason#Other than I feel it in my bones they are SO 3D#I went with the name Louisiana for the 'niece' btw because Marianna is the name of one of the Mario Cousins in the Super Show#(which is where Arthur and Tony both come from)#But there was already 3 Ma names in the family so I decided to give us another Lou instead#A better name though probably would have been Marilyn sense she's their canon niece from the Super Show#And if I'm gonna pull from the Super Show it might as well be the name of the actual niece#but also she's NOT their niece#She is VERY CLEARLY Auntie Marie's daughter they just call her Niece because she's like 12#While Mario and Luigi are 23-25 canonically#And this is a hill I'm going to die on it seems#I love you Uncle Tony Mwah Mwah Uncle Tony top tier character#Just here to be mean to his Nephews and make his brother laugh#Best Uncle I love him#Why is this on the self ship blog?#Because my S/I is Tony's son and I want to talk about my Familials sometimes.
