I wonder…

We know in free roam mode of Mario Kart World there’s going to be challenge missions, collectible Peach medallions, and hidden question panels.

And there’s one collectable reward that is all but confirmed in this game, and that’s advertisement stickers you can use to decorate your cart.

And listen, I’m like a kindergartener with a sugar high when it comes to getting stickers. Love me some collectible little pictures to customize my bullshit with… BUT… surely there’s more to get out of all that than stickers? Even if it’s just a Luigi’s-mansion-3-style achievement system that gives you little medals for finding all the panels in certain kingdoms, they’ve got to switch things up a little bit.

Or better yet, you know the constellations in Mario Party where every star is an achievement? Something along those lines would be pretty cool too.

If you were the one writing the Mario Movie sequel (which you should've since you've practically created you own lore and are such good at it), what would you want the plot synopsis/basic story idea to be?

A few months after Mario and Luigi defeat Bowser and save their home, just as everything is calming down and their plumbing business is looking up, Kamek suddenly reappears in The Mushroom Kingdom, and he is not alone.

With him are seven young warmongering Koopas known simply as “The Koopalings,” and together with what remains of Bowser’s army they attack The Mushroom Kingdom to free their king, capturing Princess Peach and taking over her castle in the process. Mario, Luigi, and Toad are quickly overwhelmed, and narrowly manage to flee down a warp pipe before it is destroyed behind them.

In the Brooklyn sewers, Mario and Luigi search the underground for another working warp pipe that might lead them back to The Mushroom Kingdom. During this search, they stumble upon a lost baby Yoshi; a friendly little guy with an enormous appetite.

Eventually, after many hours of searching the Brooklyn underground, Mario and company finally succeed in finding a working warp pipe. The downside?: it transports them to the opposite side of the world from The Mushroom Kingdom. Now they must make their way across continents to save the princess, protecting their new friend while being hunted by The Koopalings and their cronies every step of the way.

This may be silly, but I feel that arts (writing, visual, musical, etc) has a lot of venn diagram overlap with wizardry.

Can create life from the ether

Can have an effect on the thoughts, opinions, and emotions of strangers if one plays their hand propperly

Practitioners regularly lock themselves away for hours if not days to hone their craft, and often have eccentric and unusual personalities

Some wizards are more naturally gifted than others, but anyone can wield magic if they have enough dedication

In groups they are either extremely powerful or astoundingly dysfunctional (sometimes both)

Only those with experience in the craft can properly understand how much work and effort goes into it

Abilities can be used for evil just as much as they can be used for good
