If Remus would've told his old self that Sirius Black, with that gorgeous face and that beautiful hair was lying on his bed after a long snogging session, he would have laughed.

But there Sirius was, looking like he belonged next to Remus perfectly. Remus could imagine the same scene years later at their own flat, both happily married and crazy in love. Remus could imagine how it would feel like to wake up next to Sirius every day. Wake him up with kisses. And hold him at night.

Although Remus had to take advantage of what he got. They were friends who casually snogged. Sirius was comfortable in his bed not because they were lovers but because they were good mates.

"This book seems like a boredom" Sirius commented as he picked up the book from his nightstand. He had been snooping curiously through his things as Remus rolled a cigarette. "Are you reading it?"

Remus smiled "It is very interesting, though. Wish I have more time to read it faster"

"Multiverse Theory?" Sirius realised an eyebrow as he read the back cover "What's it about?"

Remus licked the skin to seal the fag.

"Haven't heard about the multiverse theory?"

Sirius shook his head. He put the book away and placed his head on Remus's belly. James was right. Sometimes he was like a dog. Remus knew he wanted hair strokes. But lighting the cigarette was first.

"Tell me about it" Sirius said as Remus took a drag.

He exhaled the smoke as he passed the cigarette to Sirius.

"It basically says that there are multiple universes coexisting at the same time" Remus explained giving Sirius what he wanted and stroking his hair "Very similar to each other but different in certain things"

Remus was satisfied as well to see Sirius thinking, interested in the subject.

"What do you mean?"

Remus twisted his mouth and thought of his answer as he smoked again.

"For example the theory says that there are infinite Sirius and Remus in other worlds. Similar in essence but different in certain things" Remus explained "Like there might be other Sirius and other Remus lying the same position as we are. But not in the Gryffindor dorms but the Slytherin ones, because we are Slytherins in that Universe"

"Eww" Sirius commented retrieving the cigarette for himself. "Never a bloody Slytherin"

Remus giggled.

"Or maybe the other Sirius has red hair instead of black" Remus added "And the other Remus wears glasses"

Sirius smiled.

"Other universes have more important changes like for example I could be a cis boy in another universe" That would be great for Remus actually "Or my mum is alive..."

"Or I am not a Black" Sirius said under his breath.He practically ripped the fag from Remus's fingers and took a long drag.

Remus decided not to comment on that. He simply nodded.

"Yeah" Remus said, he snorted "Or maybe we are the same but we have superpowers or magic" Sirius smiled "Or we are vampires or werewolves"

Sirius snorted "That would be cool"

"The theory says it is mostly minimal changes though" Remus carried on "Like for example how we met. Maybe in some universes we are friends since children in others we meet as adults..."

Sirius turned on his belly then, fixing his gorgeous eyes on Remus. He gave Remus a smile that made all of his insides jump with joy.

"Do you think we are friends in every universe?"

Remus didn't think about the theory then, the logic or what the bloody book said. He didn't hesitate on his answer. He spoke from the heart.

"In every single one of them" he answered and Sirius smiled back "It doesn't matter how we meet or in which circumstances. Every Sirius becomes very important for every Remus"

"And the other way around, Moony" Sirius whispered back.

Remus wanted to say that he would love him in every universe. That his love for him wouldn't change. That it didn't matter because every version of his heart would beat for every version of Sirius. Remus was destined to fall in love with him. Over and over again.

Remus didn't say that because he couldn't. They were just friends in this universe.

Sirius scooped closer to kiss his lips delicately. Remus tasted every second of that kiss.

"Do you actually believe in the theory, Moony?" Sirius asked, leaning his chin on Remus's chest.

"Why not?" Remus shrugged "Only one universe existing? Nah, that would be too boring"

The little laugh that Sirius gave him was enough to make him believe in anything.

In love with Sirius Black in every universe.

James: Malfoy! What the hell?!

Draco: Oh, Mr. Potter! Nice to see you!

James: Get out of my son's bed immediately, you fucking animal!

Harry: Dad, calm down! You've got it all wrong...

James: Bloody hell, Sirius! Look at this!

Sirius, lazily entering Harry's room: It all makes sense to me. Another Potter unable to resist Black's charms.

James, rolling his eyes: You're not helping.

Regulus, taking the cigarette from Sirius: What kind of example are you setting?

Regulus: Draco, love, tea? Water? Leave?

Draco, smoothly climbing out from under the blanket: The last one, I guess.

Sirius: Come on, kid. Stay. Stay. As long as Jamie doesn't turn into a deer and point his righteous horns at you, everything is perfectly fine.

Two days later, Draco was in this situation again, but James had already turned into a stag, as he was able to see a suspicious red spot on his son's neck.

Harry: Dad, stop! Nothing happened!

Draco, sneaking out the window into the courtyard: Come on, it'll be fun!

Regulus, lighting a cigarette under Sirius' mocking gaze: Are you going to bewitch James with Petrificus this time, or am I?

Sirius: Let's not do it this time, shall we? I really wonder if James will follow through, or, as was the case with you, let the kid go, as Orion let Prongs go at one time.

Remus, stepping outside with a cup of tea: How about we don't check? I don't want to know if James remembers the spell Walburga launched at him that time.

I am having further thoughts about german Remus!

Born and raised in Chemnitz (obviously, duh.) but moved to Berlin to go to Uni and get out of Saxony - though he did miss his home and parents a lot!

He got the communism from his grandmother who is also concerningly romanticising the DDR - something Remus starts heavily arguing with her about when he's a teen, but he can never quite shake the homey feeling he gets around old East Germany paraphernalia.

After moving to Berlin he can't quite find the place he'd hoped for and still feels like he's somewhat on the side lines. So after finishing his bachelor he decides to get his masters degree in Manchester. He isn't sure how well he will fare in the UK but he just wants a change - and a place where he can start fresh and more confidently (he doesn't 😅🫠)!

He has a very faint german accent in English that he is inappropriately self-conscious about, sleeps with his edition of Das Kapital tucked under his arm at night and shys away from all confrontation - UNLESS IT'S ABOUT KARL. Then he will argue you against the wall, calmly but determined (that's how Sirius really falls for him, he thinks that's so hot).

ofc he was born in chemnitz, he never stood a chance not to develop a deep obsession with karl, the poor boy!! and yesss to the complicated feelings about DDR paraphernalia, he definitely goes thru different phases there but he can never fully lose the nostalgia and homely feeling when he sees them even though he also sees things more critically as he grows up.

Biggest rival: Atsumu because he pisses him off, they end up having a setter match, and Shiratorizawa would be a tough their worst match up

Position: Setter (but an all round good player with a killer serve)

Variants: Kita, Miya Osamu

Icicle/Sneaking Out

(Sooo...this one is a bit longer than usual...)

Remus watched as Sirius paced back and forth, unable to channel his restless energy. They’d all gone out before but it didn’t last long since the alarmingly cold temperatures soon turned them into human icicles. 

James was off with Lily and Peter was beating some second years at chess, leaving Sirius and Remus to their own devices. Usually they had very little trouble thinking of what they wanted to do, but Sirius was too restless for even a snog at the moment. 

“Moony?” Sirius said, approaching with the mischievous glint in his silver eyes that he knew Remus couldn’t resist. “We should do something.”

“Like���” Remus said, raising an eyebrow. 

“Go to Honeydukes. It’s been ages since we’ve been, and our supply is running low.”

Remus thought for a moment, two impulses warring with themselves. Sirius knew he did not like to be low on chocolate; none of them did. And they were, since James had grown a conscience and started refusing to go with them. Remus had a feeling he hadn’t changed one bit, and he was more doing it so he could impress Lily when the others landed in detention and he didn’t.

Then, there was the sneaking out bit. As seventh years, they were well practiced at this sort of thing, so much so that it had sort of lost its appeal once their curfew grew later. But, Remus reasoned…it wouldn’t hurt anyone if they blew off some steam and wandered out of the dormitory in the invisibility cloak. They all knew where James stashed it, and they could use it when they wanted, as long as he didn’t need it himself.

“Ok, let’s go,” Remus said, sliding off his bed and toe on his shoes.

“Brilliant,” Sirius said, lighting up. He grabbed the cloak and threw it over himself. 

Remus went into the common room and opened the portrait of the Fat Lady as Sirius slipped past. He followed, and made sure the portrait was closed. He didn’t get under the cloak until they were near the statue of the one-eyed witch. Remus had little time to marvel at how little room there was under the cloak with two of them, when all four of them used to fit because the next thing he knew they were in the secret passage. 

Sirius pulled off the cloak and beamed at Remus. “Pleased with yourself, are you?” Remus said, chuckling. “It’s not like we’ve never done that before.”

Sirius shrugged and pressed Remus against the wall of the secret passage and kissed him. “It’s just been awhile is all. Nice to know the Marauders haven’t lost their touch.” 

Remus rolled his eyes and said, “Of course we haven’t. We’ve just become more…discreet in our sneaking out.”  

With that, Sirius grabbed his hand. “C’mon, Moony…let’s go.”
