"Would you come over here?" Percy said. He'd been watching Oliver since they'd got back from the match. He hadn't really thought much about how Oliver has twisted to make that last save, kicking the Quaffle away with his toes, while barely holding onto his broom.

"I'm fine," came the gruff response from the other bed in the dormitory. 

Percy rolled his eyes and went over to Oliver's bed, where he sat, clearly in pain. " Do you need to go to the hospital wing?"

"Leave me alone, Perce."

Percy drew him closer. "No," he said, softly, easing Oliver back against him. He pushed his fingers into Oliver's neck and began rubbing on a circle until the taught muscle underneath his skin began to soften and relax. He moved to his shoulders. A second soft moan escaped from Oliver's throat as Percy's fingers chased the tension from his shoulders as he massaged his shoulders, then his back. "Just relax," Percy murmured. "I've got you."

Formal Wear/Polyamory

Temeraire - Granby/Laurence/Tharkay - 250 words - @slashmultiverse prompt, day 2

There was something delicious in seeing both of his lovers dressing in the fineries that they had earned, as much as they disliked them.

Tenzing combed his hair back but refused to wear a wig. He wore a green coat that matched the aviator colors too closely to be coincidental. The look was a calculated dig at high society, but he wore it with his back straight, without a hint of self-consciousness.

Will had a new set of Chinese robes, ultramarine blue and lovingly embroidered with dragons curling along the edges, the mark of the Imperial family. With the rumours of a war over trade on the horizon, it was as good as declaring his allegiance out loud. If the inevitable conflict disturbed him, he didn't let it show.

"Here, let me help," Will said, taking the cloth John had been holding in his good hand. He surrendered it easily.

The silk of Will's ample sleeves was a soft caress on John's skin as he fixed the cravat around his neck with practiced motions. His fingers were warm as they moved over John's body, pinning the medals and adjusting the jacket so it laid more naturally on his shoulders.

Unable to resist the pull, John leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to Will's lips. Tenzing came closer, laying a hand on the small of his back. Will leaned into it, his hands still grasping John's lapel.

If they were to march into war again, they would do it as one.

Well... I finally got back into things after a while away for grad school. Anyways - this is for @slashmultiverse's June Pride Prompt event!

They were in the dormitory, stretched out on Harry’s bed, sharing a smuggled bottle of firewhiskey. 

“So I’m the person you’d miss most?” Ron said, sipping the amber liquid from a bottle and passing it to Harry. Harry took a swig, letting his throat burn from the alcohol before answering. 

“Obviously,” he said, grinning at Ron. 

Ron’s face reddened. “Yeah?”

“I’d pull you out of the lake again,” Harry said, cheekily. “Would you pull me out?”

“You know it,” Ron said, easily, lying back again. Harry relaxed into Ron’s warmth as the alcohol left them with a pleasant, relaxed feeling.

It's a wonder that they have ended here.

After so much uncertainty—after war, treason and too many brushes with death to count. Once, Tenzing had run to the other side of the world; and after everything is said and done, he's right back where he started, in his late father's estate. 

He watches the sun set over the lake on the edge of his property, tinting the world in warm orange and amber tones. The dimming light makes Will's hair look like spun gold.

Tenzing extends his hand, lacing his fingers around Will's. He tenses, and for a moment Tenzing fears that he has lost it all, just on the cusp of attaining happiness.

But Will relaxes again, meeting his eyes. Slowly, he squeezes back and takes a step closer so their shoulders touch.

It's a wonder that they have ended here. But Tenzing can't bring himself to regret it.
