A headcanon I'd like to share is one that involves Outer. The headcanon is basically him liking biology instead of astronomy.

Like, think about it: Sans from Undertale loves astronomy because he finds it beautiful, and also because he finds it interesting even though he's never actually seen it, because he's underground.

And Outer would love biology because of the animals, plants and their natural systems, even though he's never been in contact with such things before, because he's ABOVE the Earth.

Like, have you ever stopped to think that he probably hates space? Just stop to think if he can stand seeing the stars all day long and not what he really wants to admire. He doesn't want to look at constellations, he wants to look at pure nature.

Oooohhh!! That is SUCH a fun headcanon, I'm accepting that immediately — I love the inversed logic, it makes it so consistent

Oohhh imagine if Outer's also really interested in geology!! So if he does end up in the Underground he is just FASCINATED, especially by things like the glowy rocks/crystals in Waterfall. Plus geology can be so passive, the way astronomy can be — Classic sits and stargazes, Outer sits and looks at cool rocks <3 And remember how Classic has a pet rock?? Yeah, you can just keep that with Outer, and yet it gains a new meaning <3

Have been having big feelings and also missing Nightmare so I put them both together and made it into this I guess

The weight of sorrow

“I don’t deserve love,” He said simply, trying not to care, “I broke under the pressure that you so diligently carried, I hurt my family when I should’ve been strong like you.”

“Don’t say that, bud,” his original variant replied, “You went through so much more than I did. You’re broken, but that’s okay.”

But it wasn’t what Killer wanted to hear, so he went away.

“I don’t deserve love,” he said, feeling empty inside, “we’re so similar, almost the same, but you’re so much better than me.”

“Don’t say that!” Said the artist, his smile bright and golden, “the creators have made us all wonderful and deserving of love! Your story is so interesting, and so many people love you!”

But it wasn’t what Killer wanted needed to hear, so he went away.

“I don’t deserve love,” he said quietly, for he knew it to be true, “you’re so good, so positive.. why can’t I be like you?”

“Don’t say that, Killer!” Said the guardian, his voice full of worry, “everyone deserves love, everyone can be good if they try. Please don’t talk bad about yourself..”

But it wasn’t what he needed to hear, non of it was. So he left.

“I don’t deserve to be loved,” he said, tears filling his empty sockets, “I just don��t..”

“Oh, you poor, pitiful soul..” the darkness replied tenderly, its slimy limbs creeping forward to hold him, “the weight of sorrow looks so good on your shoulders.. but you shan’t carry it alone. I’m here, I’m with you.. rest, little one.. I won’t let you go.”

And it was exactly what he needed.. so he did.
