So, kinds nervous posting this for some reason, but I've been wantin to make my own interpretation of some different aus, but i wanted to do Ink first.

Sorry if it's not as creative as how some people design them, but i feel happy with how he came out

I have a hard time explaining my train of thoughts, so if it doesn't make sense I'm sorry I'm trying my best T-T

I was kinda inspired by the kidcore aesthetic and I wanted him to have a lot of saturated colors and paint smeared all over the place, just colorful chaos... I was also inspired by Sherbet ice cream. Don ask why idk it just came into mind while coloring :/

I didn't want to stray too far from their original outfit, but I just made alterations to fit my style a bit more and made it have some more round shapes. I also had a theme of stars and hearts in the outfit. The stars is somthin all the star sanses are gonna have as a theme (obviously), but the hearts is just in reference to his lack of having a soul.

They also have some stickers they stick on broomy that id like to think others gifted them. Same goes with the bracelets, he gets them as gifts from others and likes to traid some of them (I'm kinda projecting here lol). He's also got paint in his fingers cause I'd like to think that he finger paints a lot on random blank surfaces, especially blank white surfaces (again, projecting here)

Overall, its not much of a difference, and it's more of a self-indulgent thing i wanted to try. I hope that people can enjoy this as much as I enjoyed drawing it :)

@superbfirnacho I SPENT 2 DAYS MAKING THIS⁉️‼️ but it’s finally here… plus there is a sketch of them that I made because I really like how they turned out!

Fun facts about their designs:

1) they both have freckles on their body because it symbolizes stars, I really like the concept of giving more meaning to Nightmare’s name, as if he was the shadowy king of the night.

2) if you notice their eyes are a mix of Ivy’s green, (brown for the pupils), if you ask why one of them has purple eyes it’s a reference to passive Nightmare. They both have bluish reflection in both hair, fur, and eyes to recall their father.

3) you can give them any gender and they aren’t wearing clothes because you can choose what to make them wear. And it’s a reference to your first drawing of them (the super outdated one)

4) have fun with them! I hope they are to your liking and they meet your taste. I put my heart into them. I love my art and this was very fun!!

Aphrodite was part of a royal embassy to the sky kingdom, when she met princess inferno. They became strong friends, and soon lovers. This is set in the future, hundreds of years after the sandwing succession war. They are an epic power couple, with Aphrodite being the calm to infernos storm.

they both LOVE jewelry, Aphrodite favoriting silver, with opal or amythyst gems and delicate chains, and inferno favoring thicker, golden or bronze pieces, with gemstones like rubies or emeralds.

They have a daughter, still to be drawn and named; pure skywing, 4 years old. She’s not one for jewelers, other than ornately carved arm bands.

their a very happy family, and they treat Orthrus and Janus like their unofficial son, although they consider themselves as more of a bodyguard.
