ok but can we talk about how nolan was the one who sent this thraxan disguised like this to come get mark. He made sure to choose something non-threatening that mark loves so he wouldn’t be that scared

he knew that mark loves seance dog so much that he’s even remembered the catchphrase of his boys favorite fictional character.

can you imagine him probably teaching this one thraxan how to talk like seance dog and making sure that he got everything right to convince mark to come to thraxa. Remembering when mark would run around the house dressed up like him and maybe there’s even cartoons of him so nolan has that all burned into his mind of how the character talks because mark loved it so much and would repeat the lines over and over?

DP x DC: Puppy Love

Waiting for my friend in the emergency room(they’re fine, we’ll not fine obviously but not actively dying) so might as well write on my phone

So if there are two things I’m adamant about it’s that Alfred should still be alive and that DC SHOULD GIVE JASON BACK HIS DOG

For those poor souls that do not know, Jason had a dog name, and this is 100% true, Dog. Jason is canonically bad at naming things so he named his dog Dog. And the storyline between him and her is actually really touching. He rescued her from a dog fighting ring where she was used to bait dogs. Jason earned her trust showed her kindness and she loves him for it and it makes me emotional. GIVE JASON BACK HIS DOG YOU MONSTERS

She’s not dead just got written out by giving her to someone, but still, that man loves and pampers Dog, gave her an engraved nameplate and everything

But consider Cujo, the ghost of a dog being trained to be a guard dog, put to death long before his time wanting the thing that made him happy in life: his toy. Danny finds him, bonds with him and helps him get back the thing he loves most, and Cujo loves Danny for it.

A story as old as time, a boy and his dog, or in Danny’s case a boy and his ghost dog.

So imagine this: Danny moved to Gotham with Cujo and things are going great, except for one thing.

Cujo has a little crush

Now normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but Cujo is a ghost. Aka he can walk through walls. So when Cujo wants to visit his lady friend, he just bolts right through the wall, and leads Danny on a merry chase.

Meanwhile Jason is confused to come home to his penthouse only to find Dog cuddled up with a smaller green dog that isn’t Beast Boy. The other dog is friendly and gets along with Dog, but it’s driving him crazy wondering how he got in without tripping an alarm. Then there’s a knock on the door

Jason opens the door to find an out of breath guy about his age with black hair, blue eyes and windswept hair that might have been intentional if it hadn’t been for a few leaves stuck in it.

And that’s how Jason met Danny

Cut to this happening a few more times and then turns into organizing little “dates” for their dogs and the while falling slowly in love with each other romcom style

That’s right, this has been a romcom about two dog owners falling in love because their dogs are literally obsessed with each other

Bonus: Danny giving Cujo “the Talk”

Danny, wagging his finger: Don’t make a rosemary’s baby, understand?

Respectfully I think Kazuo Yashiki is the silliest man alive for coming out of a series of spiritual hauntings alive, being consulted for multiple others, having articles written about him, and knowing exactly what to do to ease deadly spirits to rest, only to say he’s “not an expert” and “just keeps getting through tough situations”

house md dog motif where house is a dog but not in the cute way. he’s a dog in the fact that he begs for love like he begs for food and bites the hands that feed him in hopes that they’ll stop giving in to him. he only lets his guard down around one person. the person that has him on a leash. he snarls and whines and bites but deep down he’s afraid of losing the small bit of comfort he has. wilson’s dog hector was named after house since it would nip at people’s ankles and it wasn’t house trained. ironic. house acts like he’s god but really he’s just a dog. an abused dog, whose been abandoned and dropped by people he loved (stacy) once his problems, his pain, was too much. house is a desperate dog feeding for scraps of love under the table, only enough that he could stomach until one day the only thing he’ll have left is himself because that was his destiny from the start.

anyone else obsessed with the recurring theme in TTPD about how in each instance with the three notable muses referenced, they each made a show in their own way of stepping up to Be Someone for her, only to completely cut and run (whether physically or emotionally or both).

The first love who laid on the charm offensive, "I'm not an organ donor but I'd give you my heart if you needed it," sweeping her up in this great big first serious adult love, inspiring all of the dreams that go with it, making her feel like This Is It and the actions undertaken as a result. But then bailing at the first sign of inconvenience, leaving her distrusting of her own feelings and instincts.

The longtime partner with whom she built a foundation against all odds, the one with whom (or perhaps rather for whom) she meticulously placed those stars on the ceiling. The one who at one point painted dreamscapes on the wall and sparked her darkest nights, the one who chose her mess and said there was nothing that could stop them, the one she believed in so completely she crafted a whole life around, but then accused her of abandoning the ship when he had long since metaphorically and physically left the house on the Heath.

And then of course the final boss level, the infatuation from hell who saw all this and said "I can be the one that none of the others were" and insinuated himself into her life and her consciousness until it felt real, only to vanish after the ploy did its damage.

(Of course, it's all contrasted by a fourth party with whom the trust and dreams come freely and solidly.)

It's just a fascinating study in how patterns keep repeating themselves, not only in a person's choice of partners but in people's behaviours in general. And how so much of the album is not just about specific situations but also globally about the pitfalls of relationships and dynamics and how we choose to believe. TTPD album that you are.

His Fucking Temper

Will argue with you just for the sake of arguing

Publically and openly disses the village heads

He's a fucking delinquent Kakashi you CANNOT have that on your already tenuous reputation

Remember when he threw himself over the mission table to throttle you for an awful report?

There's a barely withheld violence in him that you only see in psychological horrors from Stone

And Kakashi's only response to all of this is "yes but have you considered: I Can Fix Him" [re: make his temper calm down. The rest of that list makes him swoon]
