Epsom Salt: Soothe Muscles and Relax Naturally
Organix Mantra Epsom Salt is not just a staple for your bath time; it's a versatile compound with numerous health and wellness benefits. This natural remedy, composed primarily of magnesium sulfate, is a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their self-care routine holistically. Here's a look at the key benefits of incorporating Organix Mantra Epsom Salt into your daily life:
1. Soothes Muscle Pain and Cramps : One of the most celebrated uses of Epsom salt is its ability to alleviate muscle soreness and cramps. The magnesium in the salts helps to reduce inflammation and relieve pain, making it an excellent post-workout soak. A warm bath with Organix Mantra Epsom Salt can help speed up recovery and reduce muscle soreness after intense exercise.
2. Promotes Relaxation and Stress Relief : Magnesium is known for its properties that help relax the nervous system and improve mood. By soaking in an Epsom salt bath, your body absorbs magnesium through the skin, which can help to reduce stress and promote a sense of calm and relaxation. This makes Organix Mantra Epsom Salt ideal for end-of-day relaxation rituals.
3. Enhances Sleep Quality : Due to its relaxation properties, an Epsom salt bath before bed can prepare the body for a restful night's sleep. The magnesium helps to promote the production of melatonin, the hormone responsible for regulating sleep, making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep.
4. Detoxification : Epsom salt is also known for its detoxifying properties. A warm bath infused with Epsom salt can help draw out toxins from the body. The process of reverse osmosis flushes out harmful substances and cleanses the skin, leaving it soft and rejuvenated.
5. Foot Health : Organix Mantra Epsom Salt can be particularly beneficial for foot health. A foot soak can help to relieve foot pain, soften rough skin, and neutralize foot odor. This is particularly beneficial for those who stand for long periods or suffer from foot ailments like athlete’s foot.
6. Beauty and Skin Care : Beyond its health benefits, Epsom salt can also be used in beauty routines. It acts as a natural exfoliant and anti-inflammatory agent, which can help to treat skin conditions such as acne and psoriasis. Mixed with your favorite oils, it can create a luxurious scrub that leaves skin smooth and nourished.
7. Gardening and Plant Care : Interestingly, Epsom salt can also benefit your garden. The magnesium helps seeds to germinate better, increases chlorophyll production and deters pests without using harsh chemicals. It's particularly beneficial for nightshades such as tomatoes and peppers.
Organix Mantra Epsom Salt is an all-around beneficial product that supports various aspects of health and wellness. Whether used as a bath soak, foot soak, or a part of your beauty regimen, it provides a natural, effective solution to many common health and skincare issues, while also enhancing gardening efforts. Its natural properties make it a safe and essential addition to your home wellness kit.

Very helpful thread made for those walking the picket lines by an EMT in Florida:
(screen shots from here on out. Too many images to put in one post. Sorry for the dark mode switch ahead of time)
[Image ID: a tweet thread made by @TheMaryGirls on July 18th, 2023 that reads in its entirety (though combined where appropriate and tweet numbers removed for condensing):
This is for the strikers everywhere since I'm nowhere near a picket line. This is the least I can do:
I am an EMT in Florida, one of the hottest states in the country on a regular basis. These are things you can do to protect yourself from the heat
1. Water
Water is great, your body needs it to live. You can go longer without food than you can without water. It's vital. If you become too dehydrated you can lapse into something called Hypovolemic shock which is the most dangerous form of shock because, usually, by the time you realize something is wrong, you're already in a bad position.
When you sweat, you're not just losing water. You're also losing salt, potassium, chloride, magnesium, & calcium. To combat this, you should drink something with electrolytes.
You can also eat a banana in order to avoid cramping that can occur with the loss of potassium. You don't want to be the one doing the Charley Horse Hustle on the line when people have phone cameras. You can also eat fruit and veg with high water content. They helps.
A word of caution about ice water. I know the idea of a big bottle of ice water sounds great when you're sweating your balls off on the line but NO! That can be dangerous. Your body temperature is up due to the heat. You chug a bottle of ice water like you used to do with Smirnoff Ice in college, you'll regret it. Ice water will cause your body temperature to drop which fraks up your homeostasis. You can experience stomach craps, fainting, and, on some weird occasions, cardiac arrest. Face planting on the pavement isn't cute.
One way you CAN use ice water safely is by soaking a t-shirt or towel and putting it on your head to help cool you off. Also, cold rags around the wrists can also cool you down. You've seen construction workers with the t-shirts on their heads? This is why.
2. Whole body
If you get blisters on your feet, you need to treat them. Also, don't force pop them, you're just asking for trouble. When they rupture, they need to be cleaned with soap and water (no alcohol or peroxide) and protected. Band-Aids won't really help here.
Band-Aids can easily slip off and give bacteria a chance to move in and really get gross. Liquid bandage is the better option. It's waterproof but it does sting when you put it on so be warned.
If you experience muscle cramps on the line, you need to deal with them. This is your bodies way of telling you something is wrong. Sit down, drink something. Stretching before picketing can also help prevent them. Let's be honest, as writers, we sit. A LOT.
Going from a cave dwelling hermit to bright sunlight and exercise is going to piss your entire system off. Icy Hot and hot baths will be your friend.
3. Dehydration warning signs.
Muscle cramps
light headed
headaches
feeling very thirsty
dark urine
urinating less often
feeling tired
dry mouth, lips, or tongue
skin tenting
confusion
That's all that I can think of at the moment.
GO FUCK EM UP!!!!!!!
/End ID]
Bonus:
[Image ID: Tweeted comment on the thread from @/sardoniccomment that reads:
Every word of this is good advice, but, as a former desert-dweller, there’s something I need to add: dehydration makes you stupid. It can literally prevent you from being able to figure out the source of your problems is dehydration.

Hey, so this isn't meant as advice for you, this is me asking if you have experience with trying a bit of advice I heard, and what your experience was with it? Basically I was told that two things that can help with migraines is soaking your feet in hot/warm water (possibly with ginger?) and to do breathing exercises where you exhale more than you inhale. Have you heard this advice before? Did you try it and if so, did it work for you? I get migraines pretty rarely but it's always so debilitating when they do happen and "go somewhere quiet and dark for 2 days" isn't always viable but is the only reliable method Ive had so far, but Id be down to try something like this if it has any validity to it?
I have tried them, and they have never worked for me. Alternating ice and heat directly over the pain helps me more (especially heat over my "trigger" eye), but usually, just so I can try to sleep through the pain, otherwise I'm going to be awake the whole 20+ hours, and that's never fun.
Your mileage may vary, and tbh, it's worth trying as they are fairly easy to do -- and who knows, you might get lucky and have "easy*" migraines that respond to deep breathing and soaking your feet.
For what it's worth, I've heard some people get more out of the foot-soaking thing by also putting a cold cloth/ice pack on the back of their neck. It helps aid with vasodilation and vasoconstriction, which can sometimes be a factor in migraines.
Aside from correcting my atypical binocular vision disorder with vision therapy and corrective tinted prisms, the biggest help I've had for my migraines has been from taking B2 supplements as recommended by my neurologist.
There's some evidence to show that taking 400mg of b2 for 3+ months can help lessen migraine intensity and perhaps even prevent them. Supposedly it works better if you also take magnesium.
I used to just take magnesium which is a common migraine "hack," but it never did much for me. Adding in the high dose of B2 was what finally made a difference. My migraines are still 20+ hours, but they're less painful, and I can be somewhat functional with them.
Obligatory: Talk to your doctor before starting any new medications, including supplements.
Good luck. I hope you find a solution that works for you.
---
*No migraines are easy, but some of us have harder-to-treat migraines that don't respond to "easy" solutions. Whenever someone asks me if I've tried deep breathing and Excedrin because it always works for them, I am both happy for them but also want to throttle them, lol.

Hi, hello. Could I request an Anthony Lockwood x reader fic, maybe with the reader comforting Lockwood after a near death experience during a case/when stress becomes too much/after a nightmare (your choice, truly)
Thank you so much in advance! I love your writing and I look forward to reading what you make of this request (no pressure though!!)
je sais pas m'oublier
summary: you comfort lockwood after a mission almost gone wrong and somehow end up tangled together with him in the library
warnings: lockwood gets injured and they don't kiss 😕
pairing: anthony lockwood x gn!reader
a/n: AAAAAA MY FIRST EVER FIC THATS A REQUEST. This is very nerve wrecking btw I don't want to disappoint anyone. If it's bad it's cause of nerves. I love you guys sm, all of your notifications make my day. And!!! When requesting I'd loveloveLOVE if you'd specify the readers gender! I tried to make this gn but it might tilt towards fem reader ;(
And to this lovely anon, i adore you endlessly!!! 🩷
It was supposed to be a simple case. Get there, find the source, capture it, get out. It really didn't seem like something to make a big deal out of. Yet here you were, desperately digging the ground for multiple sources alongside George while Lucy and Lockwood are trying to fight off the wailing type twos surrounding your lot.
"I've never wanted Kipps and his crew to show up more than right now." You laugh, a hint of worry sprinkled upon it. George snorts and you grin at the sound, your hands steadily guiding the shovel that's digging the ground, not a spot on your body left that appears clean. You feel small droplets of rain start to drop down and the waters of panic lap at your feet, your heartbeat echoing in your ears. The possibility of you not making it out in one piece tonight just became very real. If the rain continues, you won't be able to see the ghosts well enough to fight them off.
As if on cue, your shovel hits something wet, hard and slippery. Bones. You shout for George and leave him to deal with the sources, hauling yourself up the muddy hole to go and help your friends.
Your gaze settles on Lockwood. He seems to be doing fine at first glaze, but as you look closer, you see that he's limping. Why on Earth would he be limping? You dont have enough time to wallow on that because he falls, his rapier flying just a few inches too far for him to grasp.
You shout for him and without thinking, grab a magnesium flare off your belt, throwing it somewhere in the direction of the ghost. The explosion would've knocked you off your feet but your mind is locked on him, his lanky frame, that now on the ground looks small, fragile even.
"Lockwood, Locky are you alright?" You ask, dropping down on to your knees next to him, gently cradling his face in your hands. He groggily opens his eyes and you practically sob, pulling him close to you. His brown curls tickle your face but you only hold him tighter, smiling to yourself as you feel his arms slowly making their way around you.
"Fucks sake, you scared me. Scared me so bad. Why were you limping? You could have been ghost touched." You murmur, pressing a kiss to his head after every word. You don't give him time to answer before pulling away, cupping his cheeks and resting your forehead against his. His eyes flutter shut, dark lashes brushing against pale cheeks. How does he always manage to look so breathtaking?
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I messed up a manoeuvre and slipped on the grass, it was rather stupid of me." He apologises, but you only hold him tighter.
George finishes up securing the sources with Lucy and all five of you start the journey back to Portland Row, soaking wet and covered in mud, awaiting the box of Arif's donuts that are sitting on the kitchen table.
You exit the steaming bathroom, a pink towel wrapped around your upper body, soaking wet hair leaving a path of tiny droplets all the way to your and Lucy's room. The ginger girl is fast asleep under the mountain of covers, soft snores emitting from her. You turn off her bedside lamp, darkness swallowing the room. You're used to the darkness, the way it disables all your senses at first. You pay it no mind and slip into a grey 'The Rolling Stones' t-shirt, rough drying your hair with the towel before disregarding it somewhere.
You don't go straight to bed. Something is crippling inside you, chewing on your heart. You leave your room and walk downstairs, stopping in front of the library door. Light is bleeding through the cracks all around the door, and you instantly know who's awake in there at this hour. It's him, always him.
You knock on the door a few times and twist the door knob, stepping into the dimly lit room. Lockwood is sitting there; his hair damp, his sleep shirt a little soaked as well. He has a book in his lap and it looks like he's trying to read but something is bothering him.
"Hey, you. I wanted to check up on you. Are you okay?" You ask, your voice barely above a whisper. He sighs softly and closes the book, putting it away before patting on the spot next to him, signalling for you to come and sit. You do exactly that and sit down next to him, looking a little worried.
He's warm. You can feel the heat emitting from him, his body. Its heating up your cheeks, tinting them pink.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm alright. Just shaken I suppose. Felt like I was looking death himself right in the eye for a second there." He chuckles, but there isn't any amusement laced in it. You don't reply to him, you just take his hand in yours and lace your fingers together.
Nothing else is said throughout the night. When George finds you two in the morning, he's laying on top of you, his head on your chest and his arms around your waist. You're holding him close to you, your grip unrelenting.
Part two, yes no maybe?!?! I hope you guys enjoyed 😁Feedback is always more than appreciated !!

Hello, I was wondering if you could do a one shot of where how the Tf 141 would react to the y/n asking to try a new position and it ended up hurting them. Like causing cramps. And how would they help or what exactly would they do?(Yes this has happened to me) I was hoping that this would become like fluff/ comfort with a hint of NSFW. Sorry I am writing this while at work.
Hey ‘non! Thank you so much for the ask and don’t even worry about it, I got you. I hope your work day went okay :)
This has happened to me a few times, too, lmao, those cramps are fucking nasty.
I also wrote this down in one go and it's really fucking late, I'm slightly tipsy so- at least we'll be on a similar level of unhinged
Let’s get into it!
Cpt. John Price
REALLY loves when you give him new options for positions to twist you into
this man is a dom through and through. If you give him the go, I-
but I also think he is prepared- he gets you warmed up before you guys start playing twister, he is getting older, okay?
So I think this is most likely to happen in the morning when you’re spooning and it turns into fucking from there; he wants to see his cock in the mirror at the end of the bed and lifts your leg, so he can “watch that greedy pussy swallow his cock”
It’s then, that the cramps hit- your hip muscles contract from front to back and you wince noticeably
“Fuck, what’s wrong-?”
“Cramp-Cramp-! Fuck!”
Cue immediate stop and questing fingers that prod while you whine about the pain
Fear not though because this man gets you up on your feet to walk while he sprints off to find whatever pain medication and heating pad he can find before even getting dressed
If it dies down? Great. Though you’ll have him check in more for a few weeks, careful to take it slow
If it doesn’t, prepare to be handled with a furrowed brow and the utmost care until John can figure out a physical therapist- even if it’s a poor rookie he strongarms into helping you on base.
he’ll probably feed you magnesium supplements for a few days, too
Lt. Simon "Ghost" Riley
Look- Simon is always more than happy to wait for cues from you
If you want a new position, you’ll have to either talk him into it or already twist yourself into a new position before he can even perceive what is happening because this man likes to stick to missionary where he can watch you soak his cock and look back up to see your cute face twist up as you cum
once established and proven, he’ll take up new positions, though.
I feel like he is a big fan of putting a leg over his shoulder as he fucks you
I am lying, I am a big believer of this- it’s a gorgeous view, he can use it as leverage and paw at your tits or just watch them bounce prettily as he fucks you
However, having sex with this big hunk of a man means he’ll not only stretch you apart in that particular position, he also makes you cum hard
When your leg cramps eventually from the constant pressure and from holding that position for too long, he will chalk it up to you being fussy at first
but if you insist, he’ll stop and drop immediately to push his fingers into the sore spot
it will hurt- his grip is strong and he is insistent, despite your wriggling around
but it makes for a quick and effective solution: he is good at massaging the cramp away, soothing the pain with his hand.
Once it’s out of the way, he’ll keep his warm hand on it before continuing to fuck you into relaxation- a nap after getting fucked until you are limp is the best way to a quick recovery in his opinion
Otherwise you’ll probably get bothered with massage rollers or a massage gun
Sgt. Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
hah, yeah, this happens to the two of you a lot-
look, I see Kyle and I see him having fun in the bedroom
he is DOWN to try new stuff, basically whenever wherever, baby
If you have sex with this man, you’re bound to get more flexible, that’s a fact for sure, I will not be taking any goddamn notes
I can see him ogling you while you do yoga or pilates and it escalating from there
especially if you shake your ass a little at him
Downward dog man, I’m telling you.
And how could he say no to you?
He’s eating you out until you tell him to stop making you wait and fuck you
and Kyle, good, loyal, absolutely whipped for his girl Kyle, does not hesitate to slide his cock in and “give you a good stretch”
“Deep breath, darling- fuck- yeah-”
but when your legs start to cramp and you yelp?
He jumps because he is scared he hurt you before he reacts.
He’ll help you up and get you moving before getting you some gatorade or something like it
Ushers you into a bath and rubs your back for you as you soak
Will definitely still get you off later and just insist you have to relax
Yoga sex will definitely be off the table for a while, despite the fun because Gaz is just too afraid he’ll hurt you again
Sgt. Johnny "Soap" MacTavish
this nasty dog of a man-
I digress
there’s a book of things he wants to try out with you
so he is always delighted when you bring up something new to try out, his shy little birdie, he’ll tease you about being the horndog in the relationship
literally twists you into any crazy position you consent to (like the pretzel or whatever? looking at that shit gives me cramps)
kamasutra books have nothing on the brain of this man
it doesn’t hurt that he… does his research.
anyways
if you let him do that shit to you? Oh the satisfaction on that man’s face
Dirty grin on his face the entire time that only falls when you cum or when he does- however, I feel like Soap gets sloppy when he is about to cum, sloppy, careless and definitely a little unhinged
so when your legs protests and he is in the throes of it, you have got to forgive him bc your pussy is sucking his soul out of his body
but even in a pussy-drunk state, as soon as he is back in his body when you whimper and start to cringe at the pain, he’ll start stretching your leg out
he’ll use the length of his body to prop it up and stretch you out, going full on football physical therapist, despite his dick still softening inside of your pussy
he might get hard again, especially if he starts rubbing over the spot and you start whimpering and relaxing, letting him treat you well and relaxing into it
definitely hard again when you shoot him a satisfied, relaxed look at the immediate relief he provides for you
“We’ll have to stretch you out hen, just to be sure you don’t cramp up again, yeah?”
Trust, you will be stretched very unprofessionally- kinks and new positions are discovered that night

This 👇 was sent to me from a friend. The chat text is my input. Think about it. 👀
White hats are telling their families to turn off cell phones for the Oct 4th EAS test.
From 2-3pm. (There was no indication if the test will be EDT, or will be by time zone.)
Could this be an indication of how the lipid nano particles are planned to be activated using three 1" bursts of 118hz. 5g may be employed for this activation.
This would release the pathogens inside and induce illness on a massive scale--
My thoughts are that this is how they'll begin the next pandemic and a fear based "vax" campaign because people will be so toxic and start dropping dead within weeks.
It has potential to look like ebola as the chimera making the nanobots (probably from graphene) is composed of ebola staphylococcus, brewers yeast and E. coli.
So it could be pretty gruesome if people develop sudden clotting disorders and start bleeding out all of their orifices. I saw this with the 2004(?) SARS patients who were in total organ failure when working in a long term subacute hospital. People will be so freaked out.
These are dots that I have been trying to connect. But the important thing is -- to get the devices shut off because the potential reality is just TOO REAL. 🤔
I've been using Epson salts for almost a year in a 30' hot soak
almost every other day.
Epson 2-3C
Baking soda 1/2-1 C
Borax 1/4-1/2 C
When I drain the tub the following day there was very fine gray "silt"
on the tub bottom even though I'd activated the jets prior to draining the tub.
Two months ago I decided to try magnesium chloride crystals/flakes 2 C instead of epson (MgSO4).
The silt was black! After about 5-6 soaks it began to clear.. so I think lots of graphene/bots (?) had been sucked out with the ionization of the water.
Simultaneously, we'd just started using the fenbendazole 222mg daily to kill the bot producing chimera.
Something is working as my skin no longer burns with the solar flares. Praise god! 🙏🏽
We gotta get this information out there. The potential that the EBS could trigger the next death round and jab campaign is just too real.
Yes... It's theory.
But it's a logical theory. 🤔

Life Hack: Red Lentils Improve Your Physical & Financial Health
If you do not regularly eat red lentils and you are not allergic to them or otherwise unable to eat them, and you want to experience an immediate improvement in your quality of life, health, and financial situation, you need to know about red lentils.
You can buy these dried for like $2.20 for a pound, or cheaper.
But here's the kicker. They are so easy to cook, even easier than regular green or brown lentils. They are a great lazy food, so easy that they are almost like an instant meal.
Unlike most dried beans, you don't need to soak them. Like, you need to rinse them, but that's it. Like put some in a bowl, cover with water and mix them until they all sink to the bottom, then pour off as much of the water as you can without spilling them. That's it. You rinsed them. They are now ready to cook.
Now you cook them by boiling them in a pot. They cook in 10 minutes. Unlike green lentils which take more like 40 minutes if not soaked. Only 10 minutes and they're soft. If you want them firmer you can cook them shorter, like 8 minutes.
They are so forgiving. I don't even measure the water, like if you put more water in, they come out thinner and soupier. Less water, they come out thicker like a stew. You can cook them less than 10 minutes or more and they will still taste great.
They are incredibly nutritious. If I'm having them as the main thing for dinner, I eat about 1/2 cup dried which turns into maybe about a cup cooked, depending on how much water I added. This much has:
23 grams of protein
36% of your fiber
41% of your B1
23% B6
49% of your Folate / B9
139% Copper
39% Iron
13% Magnesium
14% Potassium
31% Zinc
240mg Omega 3 fat (ALA) or about 15-22%
Pretty much no unhealthy things for most people.
These nutrients are a big deal. A lot of people are deficient in folate, iron, magnesium, zinc, and some in copper, so these are hitting a bunch of common nutritional deficiencies. And they're so high in iron and Folate, B1, and Zinc that if you eat these you're unlikely to end up with a deficiency in any of these nutrients.
And just to let this sink in, this is more protein than 3oz of chicken. And that $2.20 container? It contains 5 servings like the one above. The protein cost about 2 cents per gram which is incredibly cheap as protein sources go. The protein quality (in terms of balance of amino acids) is better than some beans too, i.e. it is relatively more complete than a number of types of beans.
I also love how I feel after eating these. Like sometimes eating too many beans gives me gas. But not these, when I buy dried red lentils and cook them like described above, I feel light and energetic and have no problem with gas.
There is strong evidence that eating lentils is protective against heart disease and cancer so they can help you live longer too.
You can also add so many things to them. The basic thing is to add just the right amount of salt, but when I'm cooking them, I like to add olive oil, spices, herbs, and also dice up some carrots and other vegetables, even something like broccoli. Because they cook fast, you want to dice stuff up into small cubes if you throw it in, so the other ingredients will also cook fast.
I wish I had discovered this food earlier in life. I have been eating lentils for years but for some reason never tried the red ones and never realized they are so much easier to cook. Yeah, other ones are great too but they cook much slower and thus require much more time/effort.

What Are Magnesium Flakes and How To Use Them
Until recently, I had no clue what magnesium flakes were. I was actually searching for natural ways to remove chemicals from my tap bath water when I came across this article by Wellness Mama. Although magnesium flakes don’t remove chemicals from tap water, I found they actually add nutrients. Immediately, I wanted to test them out. So what are magnesium flakes and how to use them? Let’s find…

learned that the issue i have where i "go insane" and feel like my body and brain is on fire and can't sleep/ dissociate/become agoraphobic/ feel like I'm being tortured to the point that I have to boil my skin off in a bath or apply ice everywhere and scream/hit/claw myself/drive all night and sleep in my car to get a sliver of relief is because of something called Akathesia that is known to be triggered by tons of antipsychotics and bipolar meds as well as certain antibiotics and steroids.
the symptoms vary and the syndrome is notoriously hard to describe in words, but the one common description patients give is that they feel like they're being mentally and physically tortured. After Cipro last year I was so desperate I ended up soaking my feet in Epsom salts for 8 hours a day (magnesium definitely helps tamp down symptoms), and when I last had prednisone I by all definitions went totally insane the entire course and a while after the course was over. I dealt with this for years straight in high school, probably bc of antibiotics (varying intensity but often completely unbearable, i ended up suicidal and homicidal (typical for the syndrome)) and the most fucked up part is that I've been keeping bipolar meds on the table in case the mania comes back, but an estimated 20% of people end up with Akathesia from bipolar meds, and some never come back from it even after quitting meds. Antipsychotics are even worse, studies show 40-60% of patients on antipsychotics met the diagnostic criteria. and the symptoms just look like insane person shit, so basically zero chance your psychiatrist will work with you to quit them, they'll just up your dose or switch to a med that does the same thing. withdrawal actually makes the symptoms worse, so even if you do manage to quit, you'll probably end up with a prescription again
overall I had maybe 3 years since puberty where I primarily got only nighttime symptoms and only 1 year of no symptoms at all. looking back the Cipro+Prednisone I took 3 years ago for chronic ear infections probably triggered this resurgence, and I had to take Cipro AGAIN 2 months ago for a UTI (amplifying the episode frequency once more). I'm going to keep having those types of risk exposure my whole life and I already spend a good 1/5 of my time actively in an episode. I don't want to add to that
Bonus being I only discovered this bc I've been frequenting antipsych and anti therapy forums. Doctors do not care about people and want the mentally ill and other "problem patients" to die
I also wonder how many people w "slam your head into the wall" style autism are dealing with this. one of the most common presentations is a need for continual movement. I read a South African study a while back showing that therapeutic doses of magnesium+potassium (important to have both bc one uses up the other or smth in periods of stress, don't feel like looking it up rn) significantly reduced repetitive stress behaviors in autistic kids. But magnesium and potassium aren't profitable so why would the industry recommend them.

Xin Zhui who is also known as Lady Day was the Marquise of Dai during the Western Han dynasty in ancient China. Her tomb was found 2,000 years after her death inside a hill named Mawangdui in China with hundreds of valuable artifacts and documents alongside her body. What surprised everyone, however, was how incredibly well preserved her body was thousands of years after her death. Lady Day was found with all of her organs and blood vessels intact, there was also a small amount of Type A blood found in her veins, and she still had hair and eyelashes. Scientists found seeds of melon in her stomach which led them to believe she died during the melon season in summer; this also meant she died within a couple of hours of eating a melon. What surprised everyone the most was the mysterious liquid that her body was soaked in? It was mildly acidic and had some magnesium in it, and it was probably what helped to preserve her body. To this day scientists still don’t know what kind of liquid it was.

Hi I'm RYK😭 and my self care exercise is every Sunday I take an everything shower listen to a cleansing negative energy frequency all day to really prepare for the week ahead.
Hi RYK,
Thank you so much for patiently waiting for your turn in my game.
The card pulled for What do you need to learn to love about yourself” is: The Vessel (LXIX)
The practical approach to how to learn to love yourself is: 2 of Swords
So what I love about your self-care tip is that I too take an everything shower to cleanse the negative energy that stuck to me all day! If you have high cortisol levels and you have a bathtub, try soaking in magnesium flakes or Celtic sea salt. If you don’t have a bathtub, find body lotions/oils with magnesium in it. I forgot where I read it but magnesium is absorbed better through the skin rather than oral consumption. Also, another tip from me, if you wanna take another step with this, get linen bed sheets, and not cotton. But hey, just keep doing you~
So with the vessel card, your body is your vessel, and you being self-aware enough that you do pick up negative energy frequency throughout the day is something you should love and appreciate more! Not everyone is aware of this so people tend to go about their day, unaware that they pick up negative energy when outside. So this small self-care tip of yours is actually something you should honor and appreciate more! You’ve been literally creating a safe space for your vessel every week by taking an everything shower! Your spirit guides and your body is so proud of your efforts!
So how you can practically show love to this side of you is to make some serious decisions and re-strategize your daily and weekly self-care habits. Ask yourself, is taking an everything shower only on Sundays enough to completely rejuvenate your well-being? Is it possible to do it every other day? Are there other self-care tips you can lean on if you don’t have enough time to take everything showers? Making those tough decisions to further progress and create a harmonious self-care habit that doesn’t impede your productivity and not take too much of your time is a great way to continue showing love for your ability to be self-aware of what your body needs.
This concludes your reading.
Do let me know how this resonates with you.

Are Supplements necessary?
Which Supplements I cannot live without?
Supplements You Can’t Avoid: Are You Missing These Essentials?
Let’s get real for a second — modern life is a whirlwind. We’re juggling work, family, social lives, and trying to squeeze in some self-care between it all. In the midst of this madness, eating a perfectly balanced, nutrient-rich diet every single day feels like a fantasy, doesn’t it? And that’s where supplements come in. Sure, we’d all love to get everything we need from our food, but sometimes that just isn’t possible. So, which supplements are truly hard to avoid in this fast-paced world of ours?
Here’s the audacious truth: some nutrients are just plain tricky to get enough of from diet alone, and for some of us, supplements are a must. But not all supplements are created equal, and not everyone needs the same things. So, let’s break down the supplements that many people simply can’t skip — whether due to diet, lifestyle, or modern living.
1. Vitamin D: Sunshine in a Bottle
We all know the drill: vitamin D is vital for our bones, immune system, and even mood. But here’s the catch — how many of us are actually soaking up enough sun these days? Between working indoors, slathering on sunscreen (and rightly so), and long, dark winters, getting enough vitamin D from sunlight is a tall order. Add to that the fact that it’s found in only a handful of foods, and it’s no wonder so many of us are low on this crucial vitamin.
Without enough vitamin D, you’re looking at weakened bones, a lowered immune system, and even a hit to your mental health. If you’re not getting at least 10–30 minutes of direct sunlight a few times a week, a supplement might just be your best bet to stay healthy and bright. This one’s a no-brainer.
2. Omega-3: The Brain Fuel You Didn’t Know You Needed
Let’s talk fish. Unless you’re munching on salmon, mackerel, or sardines a few times a week (and who really is?), you’re likely missing out on omega-3 fatty acids. These fats are game-changers for your brain, heart, and even mental health. They help fight inflammation, keep your heart ticking along, and are linked to everything from reduced anxiety to better memory.
For those who don’t love fish — or avoid animal products entirely — this is where a supplement can make a world of difference. Fish oil, krill oil, or algae-based supplements can fill that gap with ease. Seriously, your brain will thank you for it.
3. Vitamin B12: The Vegan Achilles Heel
If you’re plant-based, this one’s for you. Vitamin B12 is crucial for nerve function, red blood cell production, and overall energy levels. But there’s a catch — it’s almost exclusively found in animal products. That’s bad news for vegans and vegetarians who can struggle to get enough from diet alone.
Without B12, you risk fatigue, brain fog, and even nerve damage. If you’re following a plant-based diet or if your body doesn’t absorb it well, a B12 supplement is an absolute must. And let’s be honest, even some meat-eaters are deficient because they’re just not getting enough from their diet. No shame in reaching for a little extra help.
4. Iron: More Than Just for Popeye
Iron isn’t just about fighting off anaemia — it’s about keeping your energy levels stable and your immune system strong. But here’s the kicker: iron from plant sources just doesn’t absorb as well as the iron from meat. If you’re not eating red meat, or if you have heavy periods, your iron stores can easily run low.
This isn’t just about fatigue, either. Low iron can mess with your immune system, leaving you more vulnerable to illnesses. For many people — especially women and vegetarians — an iron supplement can be a lifesaver. But, of course, make sure to get your levels checked before you start popping pills.
5. Magnesium: The Unsung Hero
Here’s a nutrient that doesn’t get enough love: magnesium. It’s involved in over 300 processes in your body, from muscle function to heart health to stress reduction. And yet, many people are deficient and don’t even know it.
Why? Well, modern farming practices have left our soil depleted, so even those leafy greens that should be packed with magnesium aren’t always delivering the goods. Throw in a diet that’s heavy on processed foods and low on whole grains, nuts, and seeds, and it’s easy to see why magnesium levels are lagging.
If you’re dealing with stress, sleep issues, or muscle cramps, a magnesium supplement could be exactly what you need to restore balance.
6. Folate (Folic Acid): The Pregnancy Powerhouse
For anyone thinking about pregnancy — or already there — folate (or folic acid) isn’t just important, it’s non-negotiable. It plays a crucial role in preventing birth defects and supporting healthy development. Even if you’re eating your leafy greens, legumes, and fortified grains, it can be tricky to get enough folate from diet alone when your needs increase during pregnancy. So, this is one supplement you don’t want to skip if you’re in the baby-making business.
7. Calcium: Because Bones Don’t Last Forever
We’ve all heard about calcium for strong bones, but as we age, it becomes more important than ever. If you’re dairy-free or simply not a big fan of calcium-rich foods, this is one mineral you can’t afford to ignore.
Low calcium levels lead to weak bones and a higher risk of fractures. For those who avoid dairy, a calcium supplement can make all the difference in keeping your skeleton strong as you age.
8. Zinc: The Immunity Booster
Last but not least, zinc — a superstar for your immune system and overall health. Found in meats, shellfish, and seeds, it’s often tough for plant-based eaters to get enough zinc from food alone. Not to mention, zinc is easily depleted during illness, making it even more critical during cold and flu season.
If you find yourself getting sick often or if you’re vegetarian or vegan, a zinc supplement can be a game-changer for your immune health.
The Bottom Line: Supplements with a Purpose
Here’s the bold truth: while we all want to rely on whole foods for our nutrients, the modern world doesn’t always make that possible. Whether due to lifestyle choices, dietary restrictions, or even the way our food is produced, supplements can fill in those nutritional gaps that are otherwise hard to avoid.
But remember, supplements are just that — supplements. They aren’t a replacement for real, nutrient-dense food. Think of them as backup singers, not the main act. They help when your diet doesn’t quite cut it, but they should never be the sole source of your nutrition.
So, while you might not need every supplement on this list, these essentials are ones you shouldn’t ignore if your diet or lifestyle leaves you lacking. The right supplements can support your health in ways that might just make the difference between thriving and just getting by.

I feel so out of the loop when I'm working! I didn't know it was nice ask week! Forgive me!!!!
Anyway...what's your favorite body of water to swim in? Ocean? Pool? Lake? Bath tub?
💕💕💕
hello lovely! i've been so slow at answering these, i'm so sorry!
i'm very much a land animal and not much of a swimmer, but i would say the following:
the ocean scares me with how big it is, but i do swear by the fact it can heal you. like if you're hungover as fuck and you go into an icy cold ocean, you will come out reborn (many experiences with this). also, i like salt water.
i don't love pools, mostly because they feel like breeding grounds for bacteria even though i know obviously they're chlorinated. also, i have TERRIBLE skin (eczema, psoriasis) and chlorine aggravates that.
lakes are definitely cool. i don't have easy access to lakes, but if i saw a swimmable one i'd definitely give it a go. also, fresh water sources sometimes have waterfalls, which are obviously super cool.
baths are a n o for me. idk why. i don't like them. i've never liked them (big point of friction between @rmd-writes and i). when i used to run marathons i used to have to do magnesium salt baths and i did not like. i just don't like soaking i guess?
so in conclusion, ocean swimming is the shit and i'm a big fan even though i'm scared of sharks.

Took a shower after a beach day, had my hair soaked in coconut oil to swim, got a tan, washed and conditioned my hair, scrubbed the salt off of me, brushed my teeth with my bentonite clay toothpaste, flossed, moisturized, sprayed my feet with magnesium, wearing my white nightgown and now drinking a diet coke with lemon. I’m winning today 👍🏻
#I have a new rosemary shampoo and conditioner and they really hit#smells so good#miss my dr Bronners soap though#forced to use dove right now
