Headcanon that Cass’ general solution to her brothers being upset about something is to spar with them. On one level, the physical activity helps them work through the anger. On an another, getting soundly beaten leads to a certain level of humility that lead to them actually talking. It’s also the only time they’ll go all out in a spar which she personally enjoys. She also enjoys beating up her brothers, just a lil.

“Yeah mom it’s been good here Ewen and Emile are still dorming with me.” Damian said to his mother over the phone.

“Yeah now I’m going to head to the gymnasium Forger has a wrestling tournament coming up and I’m showing her some throws she can use.

“Yes wrestling. We’ve been helping each other practice for a week now. She helping me get better at scrambling when my judo matches go to the ground”

“Thoughts? What do you mean? Wait! Mother don’t make it weird! It’s just wrestling! I never thought about that! You’re worse than Blackbell! And stop giggling!” He shouted embarrassed as he hung up the phone.

Later at the gymnasium.

Anya was already on the mats doing a light warm up when Damian arrived. She had her hair braided and in a ponytail, and wearing a matching pink rash guard and shorts.

“Hey Anya are you ready?” Damian asked in his work out shirt and shorts sporting the school colors.

Anya gave him the most annoyed look he’s seen on her.

“Clock tower.” She said only audible enough for him to hear.

‘Pops has me in his sights doesn’t he?’ He sent a mind message to her paranoid that the gym was now wired tapped.

“Don’t worry mama is up there too right now. Papa won’t even get close to his rifle.” She said too casually for his liking.

“First mother and now your parents. Great.”

“You know this wouldn’t have happened if you just accepted that I’m stronger than you.” She said as if he personally offended her.

“First you challenged me when you said I was a nerd in my gi.”

“You still are.” She said with a smug smile.

“……And second never.” He responded as he started touching his toes.

“Well I’ll make you admit it one day.” She said boldly.

“That’ll be after Hell freezes over. And are you ready to practice now?” He asked with a small smile ready to go.

“Let’s get it!” She said with a ready to go mood, and no longer annoyed by her father’s protectiveness.

Meanwhile on the roof of the clock tower Yor had Loid in a full nelson restraining him from his sniper rifle

“Let me go Yor. I’m just watching them.”

“Then use your binoculars.”

“But our baby!”

“Is growing up! And you like Damian, Loid”

“I do but he’s still a teenage boy!” He pleaded his case desperately.

I love the fact that Optimus is a terrific climber. Blink, and he's up a tree, building, or who knows what. What's even more funny, is that most people wouldn't expect it from him. This coupled with his nasty habit of jumping off stuff cracks me up so bad, just like Prowl and flipping tables.

thursday workout

5 minutes indoor biking

squats (x10), mountain climbers (x20), stretching on one knee (×10) - repeat 3 times

weight sequence with squats and arm raises (×10), burpees (×20) - repeat 2 times

judo wrestling with my father for about 5 minutes

time spent in the gym - 34mins

cals burnt: 243

same thing as monday - zero motivation

but i had to go, i wasnt going to give up

it ended up being fun

especially the judo wrestling which i didnt think i would be doing

so to my girlies with zero motivation - who knows? maybe something surprising will happen during your workout. you might be able to do your first pull up. or your first ten. you might make a friend. you might beat a personal record. maybe you'll end up covered in sweat after judo wrestling someone. who knows?

you miss all the shots you don't take. so, maybe use this as motivation next time you really don't want to go

I have just rewatched "The Imperial City Dreams Of Thieves" (yes it's the fourth time. yes I'm aware that I may have a problem.) and it still cracks me up that, not only did Goemon immediately attempt to throw hands when he saw a guy who may or may not be Lupin - dude saw the slightest opportunity to try to skewer his boyfriend without consequences and he very literally JUMPED on it - not only that, but he CONTINUED to try to turn Lupin into human sashimi EVEN AFTER KNOWING THAT LUPIN WAS THE ONLY REAL ONE THERE. Lupin had already mentioned Goemon's missing Zantetsuken and thus proven that he couldn't be part of the computer simulation, and STILL Goemon tried to stab him with a broken sword. He didn't even have any particular beef with Lupin at the moment, Hell! for all we know they were on a romantic robbing-a-secret-lab date when they got yeeted into the simulation. No, he just decided to cut his boyfriend to bits for funsies. This man is completely unhinged, I stan him so hard.
