A/N: Y’all. I’ve been in a writing rut, but something about Logan- and Huge Jackedman, by extension- regaining his moment in the spotlight has gotten me back at it. Hugh was 1000% the reason I found out that I have a thing for dilfs, and let me tell you, I ain’t mad about it. -he’s got a sweet tooth. Loves to bake with you- he can’t cook but he can make a mean batch of snickerdoodles. No one knows why, and he’ll never offer any explanation.

-and all of his nicknames are sweet based- sweetheart, sweets, sugar, etc- with the exception of darling which coming from him would put anyone on their knees immediately

I finally checked out Undertale Yellow and it's so good! The music and the animation and the characters and I just can't! As a result, I wanted to take a crack at redesigning the humans!

Design Notes Below!

Before going in, I knew I wanted to make the characters that get confused for each other in their respective games (Frisk and Chara, Clover and the blue souled human) look like each other to some extent. I also wanted Chara and Clove to be a little reminiscent of each other since they both have a shared relationship in Flowey.

Similarities:

Frisk and Chara have a similar silhouette, red in their color palettes, and the same shade of brown for their hair.

Chara and Clover both yellow/gold in their color pallet as well as the same 2 shades of brown

Clover and the blue souled human have the same hair color and blue in their color palettes. If the blue souled human were to let their hair down, it would be about the same length as Clover's

Individual Designs:

Frisk: The only thing I really changed about Frisk's design was their color palette. I wanted there to be more red to bring in their soul color. I also wanted their hair to resemble the Delta Rune's wings.

Chara: By far, Chara's changed the most. I wanted them to look more like a member of the royal family, so I switched the sweater for a tunic and the undershirt they're sometimes depicted with a white undershirt. Their locket is replaced with the red bow/ brooch thing because it fit the fantasy aesthetic more. Like Frisk, their hair resembles the Delta Rune, although more strongly.

Clover: Almost nothing changed about Clover. I rolled up their sleeves and switched out the brown button up for a white and blue stripped out in order to give them some stripes. Because the pattern was so busy up top, I gave them a blank yellow bandana and switched the polka dots to a patch in their pants.

The Blue Souled Human: The biggest things I wanted to do with this design was 1. Keep the silhouette they had in Undertale Yellow and 2. Give them a reason for being in a tutu and ballet shoes. It's winter up top and they're a sugar plum fairy in The Nutcracker. Because of this, I added some purple and white to this design and gave them a sweater that is their soul color.

Kris: I wanted Kris to look kind of miserable to juxtapose with their Dark World self. Their wing like hair (which originally looks a lot more like Frisk's) is drooping and dark and their color palette is monochromatic except for the jacket, which as Asriel's.

The Vessel is a blank slate, glitching kind of character wearing a hospital gown. Their hair is wispy, unformed.

You knew it was your boyfriend so you shut the fridge to go greet him at the door when suddenly you felt his hands wrap around you. He held you as close to his being as physically possible.

“I’m so, so, sorry my love, I p-promise I didn’t mean to come late. I was just randomly sent on a mission and I tried to refuse but they wouldn’t listen because it was a special grade and they couldn’t-” he was rambling frantically, clearly panicked and out of breath from rushing to you.

“Hey, hey, hey, sweetie, calm down, it’s okay, It really is,” you interrupted him, turning around to hold his face.

You reached up and pulled his blindfold down so that you could see his beautiful blue eyes. Your chest felt tight once you saw how red they were, without a doubt due to his lack of sleep. Your poor baby.

“But it’s not- I promised that I would c-come home early and I’ve-I’ve ruined our anniversary and I’m so sorry sugar cube.” His voice was starting to shake and you saw eyes begin to cloud up.

He felt so unbearably guilty. You had gone through the process of preparing this dinner for him, decorating the dinner table and kitchen with rose petals, candles and everything. All he had to do was show up and he let you down. Again. He wanted you to shout and scream and get angry like you deserved and yet here you were, looking up at him with a soft smile, eyes filled with nothing but love.

“Toru, really, it’s okay, I understand that you were busy, honestly, I kind of expected it. But nevertheless, I’m not angry,” you said with a soft voice.

“Why?” he questioned.

“Well when you are dating the strongest, buffest, most handsome man on earth, you learn to live with it.”

That upset him.

You didn’t deserve this. You didn't deserve to get accustomed to the disappointment. You deserve better.

“We can still do something. We c-c-can heat the food and still enjoy the night.It’s only ten-”

“Baby, you're exhausted. You’re barely standing and your eyes look like you soaked them in blood. Let’s just go to sleep sweetie- it’s okay, really.”

He couldn’t even meet your eyes as he let his wander to the dinner table. His eyes landed on a small gift box layed on the table. 

He let go of you and moved to reach for it. He carefully took the lid off of the velvet box. His balancing tears finally began to trickle down your face as he looked down at the golden locket in his hands. Inside of it was a picture of the two of you from your first anniversary. Smiles brighter than any star in the sky.

He turned to face you once again, much more distraught than before.

“I didn’t even g-get you flowers” his voice cracked, barely above a whisper. 

He laid the gift back on the table and ran to engulf you tight in his hands. He doesn’t deserve you. But he would be so lost without you. You felt his shoulders shake slightly as you stood there in his arms. Once he was finally calmed down, you kissed his forehead and led him to your room.

You two got ready to sleep in silence. You got tucked in and he laid behind you holding onto you for dear life. 

He doesn’t know what he did to deserve you, but he knew that he would never let you go.

Sniper

Sniper is probably not really the best with kids, feels like he doesn’t know what to say or do.

But once he realizes she likes the outdoors?? Well there he goes, teaching her how to start a fire with a rubber band, a stick and lock of your own hair.

Enjoys teaching her stuff, and she really enjoys learning from him.

(She probably thinks he is so cool! A real life wild life expert!)

Brings her any of the animals he catches outside for her to look at before releasing them.

“Babe! Get that thing out of here!” You exclaimed frantically as Sniper stands in the door way with an opossum writhing in his hand.

“Relax, it’s for baby ‘roo she said she wanted to see one,” Sniper responded casually, leaning down to show your starry eyed daughter the creature up close.

“Can we keep him?” She pleaded looking up at you with big wet eyes.

You shot a nasty glare back at Sniper, who knew he was in big trouble, but it wasn’t so bad if he made his girl happy.

They really bond over camping, and you guys go on camping retreats regularly. You’re daughter adores the van so much, likes sharing the tiny bed with the two of you.

Engie

Engie finds bonding with your daughter to be top priority.

He’s a family man so he’s going to do whatever he has to do to connect with her, even if that means letting her put stickers all over his sentries.

He thought it would bother him the way all the mercs make fun of all the little drawings left in his tool box, but he honestly doesn’t care at all. In fact he loves it.

Stepping up as a father, let’s be real he would make a fantastic dad. He’s there through everything with the two of you. Wants to be a genuine good influence on her.

Solider

Loves this little girl to the moon and back, oh my god.

I imagine he’s always wanted kids, so you coming into his life with your little ray of sunshine was more than divine intervention.

Spoils her rotten, gives her literally anything and everything she ever asks for.

“Can I have that cookie?” She asked, pointing at soldiers plate.

“Oh! Honey that’s not yours—“ you were quickly interrupted

“—right it’s mine! And I say she can have it,” he declared matter-a-factly handing the sweet over to her tiny hands. She was so ecstatic.

You wanted to scold him about sugar rushes, but he looked so proud you couldn’t bring yourself to do it. He’s the one who had to deal with a hyper eight year old not you.

She loves to decorate his helmet and he loves taking it into battle.

100% wears a locket with a picture of both of you in it, he’s so sentimental I’m ill.

Definitely cried the first time she referred to him as dad.
