You said the arcs of certain characters in TOH have an 'Us vs. Them mentality.' I take it that's because, as you say, the narrative pins the bad qualities of certain characters on separate parties (e.g. "Amity's flaws are only because of her mom"), but would you care to elaborate further on said mentality and how it sticks out to you in TOH?

So shockingly, not really. It plays into it but I am actually inherently talking about the same sort of mentality that Belos perpetuates but back onto Luz. After all, if you look at the main cast by even mid season 2 we have a problem forming. Eda: Has lost her criminal edge, has no personal interests, is defined by being nice in a way befitting Luz's worldview. Momma Eda.

Amity: No longer is studious and hard working but instead focuses more on her girlfriend and her nerdy interests. Is also now just nice. Was only shown genuine care by Luz, instead of just trying to fulfill her nerdy desires, once she finds out Amity is into Azura.

Lilith: Has turned into a nerd and given up on any ambitions that had led to her previous actions, becoming a nice cool aunt. Only now has Luz tried to form any relationship with her (admittedly, she didn't get many chances before now).

Hunter: Has only been being given kindness because he has shown a capacity for kindness that Luz only really started showing him, beyond not wanting him to die, once he showed he had a nerdy interest in wild magic.

Gus: Was a nerd from go and always nice, even if he could be slightly selfish.

Willow: By mid S2, is essentially out of the show for the past half season, has never had a strong personality and is just nice. Yes, she'll start her jock stuff soon... And never have a real conversation with Luz again, at least not until S3 maybe? So a full season where Luz and Willow, after Willow might have stopped being nerdy/an outcast, where Luz doesn't have an interest in her anymore.

And uh, just as a reminder to S3, Hunter gains a scifi interest post redemption and Luz explicitly listens to NOTHING her mother says to her during her big speech in For the Future until she reveals herself to be a secret nerd. At that point, suddenly Luz dials in.

For TOH, a show supposedly about the individual and self expression, characters either lose their personality and/or gain the personality that matches LUZ. There is less character variety in interests and personalities than even 90s cartoons much of the time by the end of TOH because these characters all lose so much of themselves fitting in with the good guys, especially the redeemed ones.

This is where your argument for this does come into play. I'll frame it as the fandom likes to with Amity: "She didn't have Luz in her life yet."

Amity is only a bitch while she is hanging out with the wrong crowd. Socialites, those with ambition and jocks. The Luz enters her life and despite the fact that the ONE time Luz ever calls Amity out for being a bitch being when Amity is being a bully to King and clearly trying to get a rise out of Luz, making that moment meaningless, that simple fact starts warping Amity. Starts making her turn back to her good, nerdy side. And because this is such an inherently good thing, there is no difficulty in doing this. She needs no motivation, no calling out, nothing. She just needs to desire to be like Luz/liked by Luz. She can discard her entire friend group and do things that should get her disowned with how evil Odalia is and face zero consequences because... I guess that's the power of becoming a nerd.

You are beyond reproach. You can only do good. Same goes for Hunter. Despite YEARS of potential propaganda and the like, Luz just getting into his life and admittedly jabbing at Belos/him a little, is all it takes for him to embrace the inherent goodness, displayed by his nerdiness about wild magic, and start becoming a better person. For this, he loses his home but that is only seen as a positive because indeed, he got away from those hostile influences that made him a bad person. He could now be a good person because he no longer had those influences and could embrace Luz's way of life.

With the show's themes, why is this the case? Shouldn't their base personalities be allowed to exist? Shouldn't a wide range of ideologies and the like be allowed since that is a part of self expression? Instead, when people don't like Luz, they are disapproved by Luz and either need to get the fuck out or conform.

And this is all without getting into how she becomes Jesus in the last episode...

None of this is intentional but if someone told me that the show felt hostile to them because they didn't consider themselves a nerd or because they tried to get somewhere in life, I wouldn't blame them. The show has a weirdly narrow belief in who is a good person. Who is allowed to exist in the main cast, a problem that cascades issues into a lot of its themes. I mean, this is the first show I've ever had to ask if character arcs are actually hurting the themes of the show because of this, a blog I sadly couldn't refind.

There is admittedly an element of this where I might not have thought about it without the fandom. Most people I know who are multi-fandom still agree that TOH is aggressive against others, even for a fandom. That it lashes out and blames others for its problems. Almost like a *gestures at the thesis*

And that doesn't help make any of this be less uncomfortable unfortunately. See you next tale.

More miscellaneous The Owl House headcanons:

The other magical schools did not have a Gus or a Hunter watching out for them and almost all of their students did get branded and/or proceed to the Day of Unity celebrations with their families. Ruh roh!

Bard magic becomes incredibly popular among witches who just got their coven sigils removed and are starting to experiment with other forms of magic. Rhythm and melody are as natural and fun and mnemonically useful for witches as they are for humans.

Kikimora eventually writes a gossipy memoir about life in the Emperor's Coven that, unfortunately, is just so deliciously juicy and scandalous that it overpowers many people's common sense "what the fuck is wrong with you that you knew all this and still were a hardcore Belos loyalist" reaction... and she's still holding back. Lilith hates her so much it gives her headaches. Hunter has exerted great willpower to stop giving a fuck about her.

Hooty permanently moves out of the Owl House a year or two after Belos is defeated, and everyone is actually weirdly glad about it! Not just because the residents have never appreciated him as much as Lilith does, but because they're safe. Eda isn't a fugitive anymore. There's no forces against Eda or Raine or King or Luz that some normal-strength security measures + their personal capacities for self-defense can't handle.

King eventually does start sometimes jumping on Lilith or riding on her shoulder like he does with Eda and Luz, and even though she's psyched at Getting A Good Grade In Aunt she successfully forces herself to be cool about it :) except for Lilith being "cool" is still pretty dorky.

Gus eventually figures out a way to transfer images between human devices and witch scrolls/crystal balls (possibly with the assistance of other people he's roped in; Perry could probably help here) largely so he and Vee can exchange memes between dimensions.

Hunter dramatically lowers the intensity of his exercise routine and does little or no combat training. See above re: there are way fewer threats, and those remaining are much lower caliber. And he's almost constantly accompanied by at least one other powerful witch that would protect him with their life. And being constantly ready to fight isn't part of the life he wanted for himself.

I dont think individual headcanons or AUs are, like, bad, or that it's the biggest deal ever, but tbh i think that the way family tropes replace all other types of platonic interactions in toh fanon is really disappointing, especially when the show itself actually does try to portray various dynamics and seems to intentionally highlight the role of community and mentors/teachers.

Like, Eda becomes a mother to King, and has found family dynamic with Luz, but with others? To me at least (while i am still not sure how to feel about her opening an official school/university) Eda opening up and teaching and mentoring children who are not her family in any way and making sure that others can learn the wild magic and are not left behind like she was, is much more interesting than 'Eda is everyone's mom!' fanon. Lilith becoming a mentor or friend to Amity post-canon seems better than turning the one woman in the cast who isn't a parent and is happy to be a weird aunt into another mother figure. And Raine's role as someone who used to be a teacher and who had their students follow them into a rebellion is much more interesting to explore than just calling the Batts Raine's adopted children or turning Raine in another parent for Hunter (talking about canon readings here, not intentional AUs).

And like, yes, 'found family' is a vague concept that might encompass mentorship, but within the fanon it usually means a few very specific dynamics that most often don't actually explore the community and its importance for the characters (something that does seem to be a theme in the show) - and this includes most of the 'found family should not be like nuclear family!' takes as well btw, since most of them still utilize a very narrow range of possible dynamics. And then with toh fandom specifically all the adults are either turned into parents or are assumed to be failed parents just by being in a proximity of a child, like what happens with the Coven Heads and Hunter.

And, yes, i've also noticed that basically the only time when many of the fans seem to remember about other dynamics and start to complain that 'not everyone should be a parent' is when they want to dismiss Darius as a parent figure for Hunter. Many of the fans say that Darius would be better as Hunter's mentor rather than father, but then never actually explore that mentorship and it's clearly just an excuse to remove him out of the way. And instead they only bring up Darius' and Hunter's relationship to bash Darius and still judge him as if he is a failed neglectful parent. So the found family or adopted family just replaces all other platonic relationships, unless it is a character of color whom the fandom hates.

Meanwhile there are interesting dynamics that get completely ignored just because they don't fit into that 'new parent' trope - like the moments between Camila and Willow, or Willow and Gus and their relationship with Eda. Yes, canon is also weird about Gus and Willow and tends to side-line them, but the fandom doesn't help and uses it as another excuse to not explore them and their connections with others deeper.

Here is my Newest Hazbin Hotel OC! Kylo Morningstar!

He is the son of Charlie Morningstar and Grandson of Lucifer. He is a result of the Union between Charlie and her ex boyfriend, Seviathan Von Eldrich. Charlie had to Raise him alone once Seviathan abandoned her as soon as he fount out she was pregnant, Kylo has a very deep attachment to his mother and loves her more than anything, it took a little while to adjust to having Vaggie as his other parental figure but he cares for her just as much as he does Charlie. He didn’t know his grandparents much, he has small memories of his grandmother Lilith from when he was born and at times until he was seven. But currently he is getting used to having his grandfather Lucifer around, but he enjoys his company.

He’s rather similar to Charlie in terms of personality, he’s a kind hearted soul (gets it from his mom lol) who tries to see the best in everyone he meets, which can allow him to become oblivious and incapable to detect when people try to take advantage of his feelings to get what they want. This is something Vaggie tries to help him out with, but in his eyes it can make her come off as unloving, though he really knows she means well and is just trying to help him.

He has the same abilities as his mother and grandfather, with a few extra aspects from his father’s side of the family. The side which he prefers not to talk to, but he occasionally has chats with his aunt, Herscha.

He’s good friends with Sajan (My other OC), Vinny (another OC, who is the son of Beelzebub), Loona, and Octavia. Having a small Friend group who hang out often, getting into shenanigans with Charri Bomb, Angel Dust, and even Velvette too at times.

He recieved training from both Vaggie and Carmilla Carmine, a personal request from Charlie as she wanted her son to be able to defend himself in hell, and individuals like Alastor and Zestial often helped him hone his skills when it comes to his abilities and power, again, requested by Charlie and Lucifer.

I have a bit of a theory Revolving around the Von eldrich family, as they are abnormally high class hellborn demons that originate from the envy ring and the ironic connections with the family and eldrich as well as primordial beings, I think the von eldrich family tree descends from Leviathan herself.

This essentially would make her Kylos great+ grandmother for my AU.

What's going on with the other Blights, if Lilith had to take Amity where are the twins?

What was Amity's life in the castle like? Did Lilith send her to Hexside and if so is she still friends with Willow?

What's Amity's relationship with Raine and Darius (and by extension Lilith's) like?

How about other people in the EC like Steve? Does Amity know Hunter and share Lilith's animosity with him and view him as a rival (queue "rival jealousy" from Luz) or are they friends?

Does Belos take advantage if Amity's presence in the castle to manipulate Lilith?

How does parenthood change Lilith and her view of Hunter?

Not a question but I also have this image if a tiny (4 or 5 yr old Amity) in a baby carrier thing on Lilith's chest when she goes to arrest Eda, and then Eda turning around to reveal King in a similar baby carrier on her chest. (Queue Spider-Man pointing name and mutual aunt realizations)

Haha, I get asked these a lot too, and I had a few tweets explaining is messily, but let's get this organized in the much better site, shall we?

• Amity was taken shortly after her birth. Prior to her arrival, Alador had already gotten sick of Odalia's mistreatment of him and in extension, the twins. He takes Amity away, pays a few healers to keep it a secret, and (with much hesitation) calls up Darius. He practically begs him to take Amity away from them, and even though Darius CLEARLY still doesn't like Alador, he just has a soft spot for kids. He takes Amity and Odalia is under the impression that Amity had died.

Now, remember, with this in mind, Odalia and the twins DON'T know her existence. If you ask me WHY Lilith ended up with Amity instead of with Darius, I'd tell you that Darius let her watch over her and she came back with adoption papers bc god forbid she has impulse control.

The twins are not aware of Amity's existence (at least until later) and neither is Odalia, but not for long. Alador is still trying to figure out how he can get himself and his two other children out without Odalia realizing. Lilith tries to keep it a secret. Amity's aware she's adopted though lol.

• Amity was practically raised in the castle. She learned to walk there 😭 Imagine a little Amity taking her first steps and the coven guards just cooing over her in the hallway. Like that. When she got older, she was allowed to go back to Darius' house alone (Lilith does not have a house and Darius is kind of like a guardian to her too, so...)

She personally prefers to stay in the castle though.

And no, Amity doesn't go to Hexside.

She's in St. Epiderm! You have to understand, Odalia's part of the Student Creature Association in Hexside, and Lilith CANNOT risk having her find out about Amity. Raine had her enrolled in their old school so she doesn't accidentally come across Odalia. Willow DOES know about her, but thinks she's some spoiled girl who gets a bit too competitive. (They become friends later on!)

• Raine and Darius are her secondary guardians! Kind of like how Uncles and Aunties work. Darius doesn't hold any bitterness towards her for being Alador's child. If anything, it's making him want to rebel more because Amity and Hunter, who are just two children, are being forced into the castle by circumstances they can't control. He can't wait to take them both back home and give them a better life than what the castle has to offer.

He sees Amity as his little sunshine, though you couldn't pay him to admit that to ANYONE. That's his baby, he raised her too ❤️.

Raine was a bit late addition to the parent trio. Though they didn't hesitate to help out if needed. They usually were the one to watch over a hyperactive 4 year old Amity and an equally active 6 year old Hunter during their time as an apprentice to the Bard Covenhead. Amity also talked to Raine about Luz, who she was "feeling funny about" (she is falling so hard) and Raine was watching in amusement.

And y'know. Lilith is her mom. Lilith doesn't get much free time, but she's dedicated it to taking care of Amity as much as she can. Amity is her heart, she could absolutely not take the idea that she could get hurt. She's trying to give her all the attention and love she wished she had gotten from Gwendolyn.

• HUNTER HATRED?? NOOO...!

Do not even suggest such a thing!

But in all seriousness, she grew up with him! Of course she doesn't hate him!

They see each other as siblings, though none of them have admitted it out loud. Hunter gets a bit sad when he sees Amity with Emira and Edric ("Her real family") and Amity was quick to get that thought off. He was her family too. The two of them are fairly close, both having grown up in the castle. On occasion, Amity sneaks him some snacks and books and stuff he can do on his free time whenever her was on shifts.

They had a MAJOR fallout by the end of season 1 (which I will not disclose yet), so you can imagine how absolutely rage-fueled their duel in Eclipse Lake was in this AU.

• And YES, HE DOES. Belos is a manipulative asshole we all know that. In addition, he does NOT like Amity. He took one look at her, with her brown hair, pointy ears and golden eyes and was reminded of a certain witch 400 years ago. It doesn't help that she likes to hang around with Hunter, either. Belos being haunted by the past because of two gay kids in his castle is so funny to me actually. He constantly holds Amity safety over Lilith's head because he knows how desperate she is to keep her daughter safe.

• And finally. Hunter and Lilith's relationship is much complicated in this AU. She realizes he's just as much of a child as Amity is. She doesn't really have this "animosity" towards him, especially since she takes care of him like Darius does (in secret).

So anyways! Don't be afraid to ask more, I like getting questions! And yes, Lilith does, in fact, bring baby Amity along when she goes on missions to capture Eda. Amity likes her Auntie Eda, goes over to the Owl House and plays with King if she can. Eda doesn't really mind her randomly popping up in her house lol.

The Owl House Watching and Dreaming Analysis. (Spoilers)

Its over. Its been around 3 years and now its over. Well like Luz says its time for a new chapter now. The majority of my tag is posts about the owl house, and now I have to find a new thing to post on. I like Molly Magee, but so far not enough to spend hours typing out analysis and theories. I got into Ducktales 2 years late and, it has me going through Disney plus to find more shows about the wacky highjinks of the duck family, so if that corner of the Disney fandom is still alive maybe I will pop in their from time to time. I also happen to like a few live action shows.

But before that I want to close out the owl house with 1 (possibly a coupe more posts). This one is my recount and review of the Owl Houses final episode, and will focus on the families and connections at the end, as I feel they were the most important part of the episode, Warning long post and spoilers below.

I will start off with talking about Meeting Kings father and what we learned about Titans. We have comfirmation now that Titans do not have spouces/mates and reproduce Asexually. King’s dad did not object to being refered to as Dad, but was term wise both his dad and mom. Two things: 1 does this mean King (who doesn’t need labels right now because he is only 8) will grow up to be aroace, like Lilith? 2 this is confirmation that he will still be able to become a parent 1 day, which I am glad about, because we know he will outlive Eda, Lilith, and Luz and this way we know he will still be able to have a family again after they pass on. Also we now have confirmation that the baby titan skulls in the trapers room were kings brothers and sisters. Were the Full grown ones his oldest siblings or were they his dad’s siblings. Also the owl beast. I knew it...they? Were a titan, and that were were probably the last living one Bill mentioned since king as an egg couldn’t cry or run, and was still being hidden. At first I thought they might be his parent, but it looks like they are actually either his older sibling or his aunt/uncle... They are still inside his mom and aunt, so they are a part of his life.

So now on to King’s Dad as a parent. Because the Titans heart was still beating he actually was not completely gone. His spirit was alive in the in between realms and was watching over King, is shown to be delighted that his son found such a nice family to raise him, and is confirmed to have had a bit of a hand guiding Luz in how quickly she learned glyphs and wild magic. This all feels like methaphors for Heaven and Guardian Angels. I do not know what Dana belives or if she belives in anything. She certainly hasn’t been shy about making metaphors to the bad parts of religon/christianity. But i am glad she also made these refrences loving and positive. They can be comforting to those that have lost loved ones.

Now on to the Collector. First the older collectors aren’t his gaurdians, they are his older siblings. From their point of view the war between titans and collectors was just them being mean and breaking their baby brothers toys. Okay, they are jerks, and it was a horrible thing to do, but okay the show didn’t go full on SU diamonds parasitic route. This makes me feel a bit better about how our collectors arc ended. King’s family and He forgave each other and are good friends, the collector is confirmed to come visit them from time to time, but he went back to the Star’s to finish growing up. His siblings better feel bad about him having been stuck in thousand year time out because of them, and better leave his new friends alone now. Him going back was one of the three options I felt were possible and while not perfect I genuienly do think it was the best one. The collector was ultimelty to powerful to live on the isles full time without hurting someone, and with all the repairs and rebuilding needed to be done Eda and Raine did not have the time needed to watch him as much as he needed.

No lets go on To Luz. She moved back to the Human realm to live with her mother and sister, and graduate from earth school in graves field. It also looks like Camila was able to eventually forge the documents needed to adopt Vee in the human realm and send her to school with Luz. But we can see that a permenent portal was opened at the old house (how can Camila afford two houses on her single parent vetenairy income? Did she pay in snails and the seller think she had gold?). Luz, Camilia, and eventually Vee (wonder how long that took) made visitations to the demon realm. Luz had the option to chose which realm she wanted to live in once she grew up. It also looks like Eda got upgraded from being Luz’s temporary host parent to being like a God mothe rto her. Camila will always be Luz’s real mother, but Eda still getting to stay in their lives as support is for the best. Camilia and Luz went through so much when Manny died and they were struggling to deal with it by themsleves. I said in an earlier post that I believe the owl house to ultimately be about finding a community that is suportive of you. Camila, Luz, and Vee did not have that before, but they do now.

Now on to Hunter. So the final hints very strongly that he was adopted by Darius, not Camila, and not Eda (who FYI had no positive interactions with Hunter and should not have been considered as heavily as she was by fans). This again makes the most sense. While watchig Thanks to them when Hunter is mentioned to be happy and doing well in the human world I was like “Alright the story still works great if Hunter becomes Hunter Noceda. Darius can just be a mentor to him if he goes back to the iles in summers”. But then when he described the life he wanted at the end of the episode I was confused because everything he said was things he could only do in the demon realm. He wanted to go back perminently. I doubt Camila will ever want to fully live in the demon realm, Luz did probably need to live in both worlds until she was an adult to fully make a fair choice, and you know it took months/years for Vee to step foot there. I still hope Camila got to be Hunters God mom or was in his life as a surogate Aunt. Hey Darius and Eberwolf are implied to have become like Police officers, dedicated to stoping suporters of Belos’s system fromt trying to reinstate it. It thoretically could have been possible that they would be away for stretches and Hunter would need another adult to stay with some of the time.

Reminder of what Darius and Hunter’s relationship was like since a lot of it had to develop off screen. Darius and Hunter are strongly hinted to have started spending more time together post ASIAS, by Hollow Minds Darius had grown so fond of Hunter that he was ready to abort his cover to help him. When Hunter ran away from the EC Darius is confirmed to have tracked him down to ensure he was safe, and Hunter was comfortable leaving his hiding place to go on a mission Darius gave him (protect Luz while she went to break Amity out of the manor). Hunter was very worried/scared when he saw Darius on the stage at the Day of Unity. Also while Hunter did not put Darius’s picture on the wall he started sewing every piece of fabric he could find in the Noceda’s basement and would talk about how this was something he practiced with Darius. So he clearly missed him, but I do not think he realized how much Darius and Eberwolf missed HIM until they came looking for him after waking up. On the subject of Eberwolf and Hunter, I have seen the headcannon that Eberwolf calls Hunter pup/cub but can we as a fandom please come up with a term Hunter uses for Eberwolf. there is no way they call each other “Uncle” and “Nephew”. Those are definitly trigger word for Hunter.

Also the Blue bird Palisman Hunter eventually carved himself. I am glad its a bird, because Hunter had Palisman as therapy/support animals and birds were the animal he was most comfortable with. I want to name his new bird Bananas. Since Bananas, like Flapjacks, were a human food he was unfirmilar with in the demon realm. I am also so glad that show let him grieve Flapjack and take his time before getting a new palisman. Flapjack was Hunters biggest support during his darkest time and I was so afraid that they would trivialize his lose due to the shortened season. But no not only did they give him a grave that got visitited, not only did Hunter get a tattoo of Flapjack, but so did Willow and Luz, maybe Gus and Amity as well. Flapjack was so loved and so missed, as he should be.

 On to Alador x Darius. I ship the couple but I am so glad how it was handled, with them basically being confirmed to not get together for another 3-4 years. As cute as their dynamic is, it would have been extstreamly problamatic for them to get together soon after the battle with Belos. Alador was just getting out of a long, abusive, marriage. While we do not get a chance to fully explore Darius’s character and what caused him to close himself off from his old friends, we know he was working through some things and closing a chapter on a mission that had been a big focus f his life. Not to mention that both men had teenagrs who had been tramatized and needed/deserved to be their dad’s full focus for the time being. So for that I am glad we did not get the Blight-Deammone step family.

One kinda nice twist was that Alador decided he wanted to build medical machines and Emira was the child that ended up working with him. Emira was the child who seemed to have the least in common with Alador so I liked that they eventualy had something they could do together. A stranger surprise was Amity and Lilith’s reunion, and the strong hints that they started working together again and bonded. Dana dropped them being Mentor and protage like a hot potato after Covention day and was quick to post that they were never close/did not like each other when asked. So its kinda strange that she suddenly had them start caring and tried to portray Lilith as a strong female figure in Amity’s life after her seperating completely from Odalia. This is the big thing I feel should have been either explored more or dropped.

Lastly reagrding the end credits; I am upset that for how many clips we saw of both Steve and Matt towards the end we did not get a single on of them reuniting or together. Come on Show Why. That said I love the jobs they were shown to have afterwards. I expected Steve to maybe get an internship/assistant job at the museum with Lilith, since they were such good friends. Seeing him, still friends with Lilith, but also with the Catt’s and working to rehabilitate other coven scouts was so much better. And finding out that Matt became a hotshot architectural designer on the isles is just perfect. Also I spent 3/4ths of the End credits going “Where is Gus. Do not leave him out of this time jump”. Then I find out he graduated early and was teaching students about the human realm at Eda, Raine, and Lilith’s new university. The little genius. They’re is no confirmation that he and Matt ever got together, but Oh well. Maybe they did and are just not into PDA? maybe did and broke up/were on a break? Maybe they only ever stayed friends? It was my second favorite ship (besides Lumity) but if it didn’t happen that’s okay.

All in All this was the owl house final. It was exciting, intense, it tied up lose ends,and gave our charcters ends that while not perfect, where the best they could have been. Good job Dana. Good Job Owl House Crew. Thank you for the show. Its helped me a lot with getting through the past 3 years.

Pokemon -> Max - Lore post + Visual reference - 25-30 years old, lives in Galar. She works as a gym trainer, first at the Dark gym and then in Circhester's Ice gym. She prefers Ghost types above all else but she's pretty well-rounded! She’s sweet and timid but also a little gremlin and I love her dearly

TLoZ -> Ethie - Lore post - Something about soulmates through time or whatever with Link (platonic or romantic, depending on the timeline). Descendent of Malon, although I might change her canon so that she just was Malon lol. She's also Beedle's sister! Most of the lore I've established is of BotW/TotK times, where she's a traveling blacksmith with a home-base in Hateno.

Spiderverse -> Apple Spider - Lore post + Visual Reference - A little shit who accidentally ruined her canon and destroyed her earth. Now she lives permanently in Nueva York/in the Spider Society building. She's a master in the art of being annoying but lovable, and takes on kinda the wine aunt/bestie cousin role for a bunch of the younger Spiders.

Sun Haven -> Autumn - Visual reference - Half-moth amari (amari are anthros, basically), and half-elf! She's gentle and kind. Loves just hanging out with her animals and helping people around each city, rather than actually doing much farming. Winds up making permanent residence in Nel'Vari, a hidden elven village west of Sun Haven.

Sun Haven -> Marlowe

- An aquatic amari of the shark variety! Kind of a piece of shit unless you’re important to them. They’re messy and loud and blunt but they’d literally do anything for those they care about (in the end, though, the person they care for most is themself). Moved to Sun Haven to be closer to water and become a monster hunter and adventurer. They were previously a tattoo artist in The Big City

Baldur's Gate 3 -> Lilith - Visual reference - A resistance Durge! Was besties with Orin and on the verge of marriage with Gortash before being lobotomized and tadpoled. Now she just wants to right her wrongs, or whatever -- she's absolutely horrified by her Urge.

Baldur's Gate 3 -> Aether - Another Durge! Same past as Lilith, except during the events of the game, she begins sorta morally grey and evolves into a frickin monster. She's one of those "I'll hurt everyone except the people I love types," and genuinely wanted to rule Baldur's Gate alongside Gortash. After The Brain(tm) offed him though she kinda just went apeshit and embraced Bhaal.

Pikmin 4 -> Ed - Visual reference - I don't have much lore for her lol.. she mostly does night expeditions because she prefers to be nocturnal and likes hanging out with the glow pikmin. She's super sweet but bad at expressing her feelings, so nobody really knows it unless they give her a chance to open up! Her affection can come off as aggression but she just doesn’t really know how to portray herself

FFXV -> Mari Vitrum

- “One of the guys,” but not in an annoying pick-me kind of way and more so the constantly-being-a-little-shit kind of way. She was a close friend of Gladio’s from childhood, which is how she met Noctis and eventually became part of his crew. She’s not a fan of Ignis (except for his cooking) so they kinda just tolerate each other lol, she and Noct bicker like siblings, and she’s besties with Gladio and Prompto. She prefers to fight with daggers, taking more of an assassin approach and fights SUPER recklessly. Will easily have to use several phoenix downs during tougher battles, partially bc she gets dagger-happy and partially because if anyone’s gonna die, she’d rather it be her than her friends.

Stardew Valley -> Elise

- Partial visual, since I haven’t drawn her fully yet

- A lot like Sebastian in that she’s spent most of her life staying indoors nerding out, looks almost sickly pale, and wears black hoodies a lot. She only moved to Pelican Town to escape Joja and Zuzu’s high rent, really. She’s more focused on having a ton of animals (mostly to hang out with) and only keeps a few small patches of crops. Has her nose pierced and 3 ear piercings on her right side, but only 1 ear piercing on her left, in short because she got lazy. She has a vampire bite tattoo on the left side of her neck and constantly gets roasted for it (she goes along with it like a champ), as well as a sloppy self-made stick and poke tattoo over some self harm scars that says “I lived, bitch.” Still unsure of where I’m gonna plop that down on her

The night air is filled with a sweltering heat in Sulani, which is normal during it’s Summer months.

Lily is sitting down with AJ to have dinner. His father, Apollo, is poking around in the kitchen. The dishwasher is leaking and Apollo swears he can fix it. Lily says nothing because it’s not her place.

“Woof woof like?” AJ asks her, he knows she’s different just like a Daddy, Aunt Vera and Uncle Caleb are. 

Lily smiles fondly at AJ’s nickname for her. “Yes.”

They finish there food in mostly silence, except for an occasional grunt that’s heard from the kitchen. Lily scoops up AJ before the grunts become curse words. She heads for the stairs when she smells death mixed with expensive perfume. She knows who it is, she feels it.

“Isn’t Sulani a little hot for a werewolf?” Lilith asks, perching herself on the back of the bench her cousin sits on. She had laid and waited to see if Lily would come outside, no doubt picking up her scent. It had been so long since she had seen her cousin this close. 

“It’s not so bad.” Lily replies, stretching out her back. It had been hurting more lately. There’s awkward silence as both females try to think of something to say without just jumping into the heavy topic between them.

After Lilith slowly moves down to sit beside Lily, she turns to her. “I was thinking about the stable boy we both had a crush on during my flight over here. What was his name?” She asks excitedly, briefly feeling like a teenage girl again – gabbing with her cousin about their crushes.

“Lorenzo.” Lily says with an actual smile. She feels a brief feeling of happiness at the memory of herself and her cousin spending hours, daydreaming about the stable boy while Caleb made faces and took off for a ride on his horse. “He turned out to be married.”

Lilith made a face and nodded. “All the attractive ones were back then.”

“Your parents wouldn’t have approved anyway.” Lily reminds her. Her Aunt and Uncle had very specific ideas for who their children would marry. 

“I didn’t want to marry him anyway, I just wanted to go for a ride.” Lilith said with a smirk, she wasn’t talking about a ride on a horse either.

Lily actually laughs at this. Things were almost like they used to be. Almost. Her laugh suddenly stops and she frowns.

Lilith shifts in her seat and stares at her cousin, who isn’t looking at her now. “I know things are a mess.”

Lily nods very slightly. “Caleb explained how he ended up as a vampire and how you asked to be turned so he wouldn’t be alone.” She pauses “I understand that it wasn’t Caleb’s choice and why you became one. But, at the same time. You two could have ended your existence and chose not to be what you are.”

Lilith stares at her. She’d be lying if she hadn’t thought about it over the years, she knows Caleb certainly has. “Fair enough.”

Lily sighs, still not looking at her cousin. A part of her wants to yell at Lilith. The thought of both of them killing, feasting on blood, makes her sick to her stomach and not just because she’s a werewolf.

“Caleb does well on the plasma fruit diet. Me? I’m trying. I slip up.” Lilith says, figuring Lily would want to know given what Caleb told her about his conversation with their cousin. 

Lily stands and Lilith follows suit. “I offered my help in protecting Caleb’s baby and I meant it.”

“He truly appreciates that and so do I.” Lilith comments, not sure what else to say. This reunion could have gone worse but she was hoping it would have gone better. 

“Look, I will never be okay with what you two are capable of. But, I know I’m getting older. I’d rather not end my story holding grudges and regrets.” Lily ends their conversation with that, but not before getting Lilith’s phone number.

Let's Talk About Lily

You know, I've done headcanons about Lilith and Caleb, but I haven't really done any about Lily. Let's fix that, shall we?

Lily was born to Artesia's sister, Leila. She and Lilith were both named in honor of their grandmother, Lillian.

Leila had struggled for many years with infertility, before she finally gave birth to Lily. She never had any more children, however.

Lily grew up in the Foundry Cove area of Willow Creek, a few blocks away from where her cousins lived. Her parents weren't as well-off as her aunt and uncle, but at the same time, they always had enough. Their mothers spent a lot of time together, as they were fairly close in age and had shared a bedroom growing up, so they were always close. (They also felt like they had a lot of "catching up" to do after the time Artesia was trapped as a "paint slave" in someone's basement.)

Like her cousins, and like many Sims in Willow Creek at the time, she was raised as a Worshipper of the Watcher. Sundays always entailed meeting up with Uncle Edward and Aunt Artesia for worship service, and then going to their house for dinner.

She loves tea, and her favorite thing to do as a child was have tea parties with her cousins and her favorite toys, Blarfy the Bear and Mrs. Meowness. When Leila passed away, Lily inherited her favorite tea set.

When she was a teen, she noticed Lilith going down a dark path, out of rebellion against Edward. That troubled her; she was afraid her cousin would get in trouble...not only with her parents, but with the angry and vengeful Watcher they were always warned about. Unlike Lilith, Lily did her level best to stay on (what she was told was) the straight and narrow. She never drank, never smoked pot (she does now, but only to soothe age-related aches and pains), never got a tattoo, never "messed around" with boys, never flirted with men old enough to be her father, never sassed her parents, never snuck out to parties, never stole lipstick from the drugstore, never played with Ouija boards or tarot cards.

She had moved to Henford-On-Bagley in the interim between the loss of her parents, and her turning into a werewolf. She had always wanted to live there; Willow Creek was nice, but she longed for that quiet cottage life in the Bramblewood.

As a young girl, she found the Sylvan Glade, and took her cousins there.

Lily was always pressured to get married to a man and have kids of her own, but she is a demisexual lesbian. She didn't have a relationship (or a woohoo) with another woman until after her parents, and her aunt and uncle, passed away. She met someone at the Gnome's Arms (she doesn't drink, but they have excellent cottage pie), and soon enough, they were engaged. That relationship didn't survive her becoming a werewolf, and since being a werewolf with uncontrolled fury makes relationships hard, she hasn't been involved with anyone long-term since. She watched her former fiancee get married to someone else right at the location their wedding was supposed to be. (At the time, she couldn't commiserate with Agnes Crumplebottom, as she was still married to her now-ex-husband, Roberto.)

Despite feeling unwelcome in Willow Creek, she visits her parents' graves at night frequently. Sometimes, she even sleeps in the graveyard, curled up by her mother's headstone.

She had been helping to care for Caleb in the aftermath of The Incident With Miss Hell, and had picked up a "vampire" scent that most other Sims cannot perceive. Which is why Greg attacked her unprovoked while she was hiding from Vlad. She saw Vlad for who he really was, but was unable to warn her cousin about him.

After she became a werewolf, she met with her cousins for tea, but she was in fury mode, as it was a full moon. Everything was bothering her, including that "vampire" smell they now had. The last straw was when Caleb cleared the table, but took the dishes up to the upstairs bathroom. She transformed with a terrifying howl, and chased her two cousins, the only family she had left, and the people she loved the most away, and her mother's tea set was destroyed in the process. When she turned back into a "normal" human the next morning, she regretted it like nothing else. She tried to apologize to them, but by that time, they had left Willow Creek and moved to Forgotten Hollow, and she couldn't bring herself to step foot in there. She eventually met Kristopher Volkov and joined his werewolf cult pack in Moonwood Mill, after he showed her how to lean into her gardening skill and control her fury. She also took the Immortal Wolf ability, in the hopes of eventually reuniting with her cousins, but by the time she was able to do so, she was already an Elder.

Chapter 18

Hey everyone. Sorry this is so late. Been busy celebrating also I know this is a bit late but Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to all. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas. I know I did. we had Lunch at my house. Let's just say the tension was high. I got to spend the evening with my family and got a lot of money from my aunts. Shame my baby cousin wasn't there cause he was sick but its okay. I also got to spend time with my dads family. So that was amazing. I haven't seen in a long time. I hope everyone had an amazing time and enjoy this lost day if 2023. Because tomorrow is 2024. I'm not ready😅😥. Anyway I hope you enjoy this chapter and again I'm sorry for being a bit late.  Anyway Onwards Readers.

Third Pov

The girls were getting ready to meet the White Council. Gandalf explained to Thorin that it would be best if the girls went with him. He wasn't happy about that and neither was Bilbo, because they were their daughters and they feared what could happen. The girls reassured them and the rest of the company that they'd be fine and they would be with Gandalf and Lord Elrond. 

Fili was scared to be parted from his love but Kate reassured him that it wouldn't be forever and they would be reunited soon. He knew she was right but still didn't like it. The others didn't know of their relationship so they went to the fountain where they confessed their love for one another. They shared a passionate kiss, Fili putting all his love in the kiss so that Kate knew how much he loved her and she returned it with just as much love. He put his forehead to hers, whispering in Khuzdul that he loved her. When they parted and returned to the group, she gave him a reassuring smile. She hugged the others goodbye.

Meanwhile with Renee, she reassured the group that they would delay the council for as long as possible. She gave them a reassuring smile, knowing they were not happy about it. They had come to love the girls as their kin. Plus they were the babies of the group so they hated it even more. Kili wasn't happy about it. He hated that they would stay back. He wanted them with the group, he wanted Renee with him so that he could protect her and put his mind at ease, knowing she was safe by his side but he knew that this was the best option. Renee noticed that Kili was extremely quiet, which was very weird considering how much of a menace. She walked over to him and sat down next to him.

"Are you okay Kee?"

"I just wish there was another option, one where you all come with us but Gandalf's right. This is the best option."

"Hey, it's not forever. We'll be together soon. All of us. Besides you guys need us so much that you'd probably unintentionally insult someone if we weren't there to put you in your place. But I mean it, I won't let anything keep us apart. Not even death."

"You better. I can't lose you, Renee. Or Kate or Lili. Mainly because one is my family and the other will become my sister...hopefully. "

"Yea, they thought they were subtle. But I'm happy for them. Kate deserves to be happy."

"They do. I'm happy to call Kate my sister and Lili my cousin."

"And me? What am I to you?"

Kili looked Renee in her eyes. She looked so ethereal and beautiful. She had the most beautiful doe eyes he had ever seen. She looked almost innocent. He couldn't tell her, fear of rejection. He loved her. He put his hand on her cheek, rubbing his thumb on her cheek with a soft smile.

"I don't think I can say just how important you are to me. It would take forever."

He leaned down and kissed her forehead, whispering something in Khuzdul that she didn't understand before walking away. She just stood there, not sure what to think. He kissed her. Could he- No he can't. He can't love her. He's a dwarf prince. It would never work. She watched him talking to Ori. She knew she had fallen for him. And she fell hard. She looked around for her sisters and saw Lilith standing next to her father. She felt her chest tighten. She wished her father was still here. She missed him so much. And her mother. She wanted her parents back.

Soon it was time for the girls to leave with Gandalf. Renee quickly hugged Kili with the reassurance that they would be together again soon. They walked behind him as they made their way to where Lord Elrond was waiting for them. They walked behind Gandalf and Lord Elrond as the two spoke. As they spoke they made their way to the meeting place of the White Council.

"With or without our help, these dwarves will march on the mountain. They're determined to reclaim their homeland. I do not believe Thorin Oakenshield feels that he is answerable to anyone. Nor, for that matter, am I."

"It is not me you must answer to."

There at the edge of the cliff stood the Lady of Light herself. Lady Galadriel had her back towards them, hair flowing down like golden waves of water. Her dress was so long it went down the stairs where she stood. She had a beautiful silver circle on her head, with patterns resembling roots intertwining with one another. She looked breath taking. The girls gaped at her beauty.

Lilith's Pov

Holy shit my great-grandma is hot as fuck. Now I know where I got my beauty from. Seriously though, she's gorgeous. I wanted to look away so I didn't seem creepy but I couldn't. I immediately snapped out of my trance and hit my sisters' sides, causing them to snap out of their trance and turn to glare at me. We turned our attention back to the others.

Lady Galadriel turned around and I noticed her circlet had blue gems on it, possibly sapphires. I looked at her face. She looked so young, no wrinkles or lines anywhere. You'd find it hard to believe she was 8,372 years old. She looked like she was in her late thirties. I wonder what the secret is. Gandalf finally spoke.

'Lady Galadriel."

"Mithrandir. It has been a long time."

"Age may have changed me but not so the Lady of Lórien."

Damn, dude's got moves. Lady G smiled at him and Grandpa just looked at him in amusement. Renee was chuckling at him while Kate was trying not to laugh.

"I had no idea lord Elrond had sent for you."

"He didn't."

"Hmm?"

"I did."

Gandalf closed his eyes as if he had just been caught stealing. I looked towards the sound of the voice and there stood the one person I've been wanting to give a piece of my mind to, Sauron's Cockwarmer aka Saurman the White. My sisters and I glared at him so hard that if looks could kill, he'd be dead 100 times. This man is a traitor and a coward. I hate him with everything I have. Gandalf turned towards him with a fake smile.

"Saurman"

"You've been busy of late, my friend."

He turned his attention to us.

"And who, pray tell, are they?"

I let Renee handle this because if I spoke I'd probably be in so much trouble with Kate and lose the remaining brain cells I have left.

"What are you fucking blind or something? We're ladies, the ones who are not afraid to insult you if you don't stop glaring at our wizard like that. The name's Renee, that's Kathrine but Kate will do and that's Lilith, Lord Elrond's granddaughter. Well I mean we're all his granddaughters because Lilith is our sister, Anyway that's done."

"Surely that's impossible. Lord Elrond's children have not married yet."

"Well obviously someone needs the birds and bees talk. His daughter Elenor, our mother, fell in love with a dwarf and she got pregnant and left through a magic cave. 9 months later, a baby girl was born, this one here. Any questions? No? Great. And before you ask, no Kate and I are not her biological daughters. She adopted us when we were 6. All caught up now? Now Lilith I know you want to rip him a new one so I'm going to let you get it out of your system here and now because you look ready to burst. Everyone else, just watch the drama unfold and can we get some snacks by any chance? I'm starving!"

I could see the steam coming out of her ears. Everyone just stared at her for a few minutes after a long minute or two and looked at me.

"Okay, first of all, It is lovely to meet an old friend of my Grandfather, Lady Galadriel. I hope that we can become well acquainted and I hope to hear your stories about my mother. Second of all, Reni, thank you."

I said while looking at Lady G and gave an evil smile. One that would rival the Grinch's.

"Now...You."

I said slowly turning to the little bitch- I mean Saurman the white with a calm smile on my face. I could see the fear shine in his eyes. I remember that Lady G can communicate telepathically.

Lady Galadriel?

Yes, child?

I need to show you what is going to happen in 60 years, we come from a world where Middle Earth is a novel. Anyway, there is The Hobbit, which takes place now and The Lord of The Rings, which takes place in 60 years. In short, Saurman turns his back on everything and goes to work with Sauron. He tries to get the ring so he can give it to his master and tries to kill Gandalf. The thing is we have reason to believe that he has been secretly working for him for a while now. Why else would he be against the Dwarves getting their rightful home back?

That is a lot to take in, child. But I believe you, myself, have been suspicious of him for a while now as well. What do you plan to do?

Oh, I plan to expose him.

Well then, your friend was right, we will be needing snacks.

"Tell me, Saurman, why don't you want my father and his people to have their home back? And don't give me 'It's not the right time' or 'It's too dangerous' shit because we both know that's not it.-"

"Excuse me, don't talk to me like that you little brat!-"

"And don't you fucking interrupt me you old sleaze bag!

I was so ready to expose him but then of course Kate just had to ruin all my fun. As usual.

"Lilith enough. I know you want to go off but please not now. And Renee, stop encouraging her. We are guests so behave yourself both of you. Let's just get this over and done with then you can go nuts. I promise."

I groaned but I knew if I didn't do as she said, I'd be in so much trouble. I glared at him before moving to where my sisters stood. Gandalf sat down and across from him sat Saurman. We decided to stand behind Gandalf while grandpa stood off to the side and Lady G walked around. Renee and I hated the fact that we had to wait to expose that fucking bastard.

"Tell me Gandalf, did you think these plans and schemes of yours would go unnoticed?"

"Unnoticed? No, I-I'm simply doing what I feel to be right."

"The dragon has long been on your mind."

"That is true, my lady. Smaug owes his allegiance to no one. But if he should side with the enemy, a dragon could be used to terrible effect."

"What enemy? Gandalf the enemy is defeated. Sauron is vanquished. He can never regain his full strength."

"Gandalf, for 400 years, we have lived in peace, a hard-won, watchful peace."

"Are we? Are we at peace? Trolls have come down from the mountains. They are raiding villages, destroying farms. Orcs have attacked on the road."

"Hardly a prelude to war."

"Always you must meddle, looking for trouble where none exists."

"Hey. You better watch it. I don't care who the fuck you are but no one disrespects our wizard."

"Renee enough."

Renee looked ready to fucking kill him and strangle him with her hands. Luckily Kate stopped her before she could. I can't believe this asshole. Lady G interrupted.

"Let him speak." I smiled at her in thanks. She returned it with a nod.

"There is something at work beyond the evil of Smaug. Something more powerful. We can remain blind to it but it will not be ignoring us, that I can promise you. A sickness lies over Greenwood. The woodsmen who live there now call it Mirkwood. And they...they say..."

"Well? Don't stop now. Tell us what the woodsmen say."

"They speak of a necromancer living in Dol Guldur. A sorcerer who can summon the dead."

'That's absurd. No such power exists in this world. This necromancer is nothing more than a mortal man. A conjurer dabbling in black magic."

"How would you know? Did you investigate? Or are you so prideful that you can't admit that maybe you missed something and could be very wrong? What do you think girls?"

My sisters nodded, agreeing with me. I smirked at him. I knew he would deny it. He's already fallen to the dark side. I just have to get him to admit it. Besides Lady G seems to believe me.

" I thought so as well. But Radagast has seen-"

"Radagast?! Do not speak to me of Radagast the Brown. He's a foolish fellow."

"Well, he's odd, I grant you. He lives a solitary life"

"It's not that. It's his excessive consumption of mushrooms. They've addled his brain and yellowed his teeth. I warned him. It is unbefitting one of the Isatri to be wandering the woods-"

Renee's Pov

I've had enough of this bitch.

"I'd stop talking if I were you. Lilith looks ready to blow."

"Oh I am. Who the fuck do you think you are, insulting others? Radagast is an amazing wizard and yes he's odd but that is what makes him unique. Not everyone can act like there's a stick up their ass. And also the way you insult and belittle Gandalf, he is a much better wizard than you are. He actually cares about this world while all you care about is power and staying on top. I've seen men like you and I hate them with a passion. I despise people like you. The Isatri are supposed to watch over and protect middle earth but you just blatantly ignore the evil that is trying to return. Damn you're worse than Thorin. I ought to wring your fucking neck but then Kate would kill me and Id like to not die just yet. Thank you for your time." MIC DROP

While Lilith was talking or more like threatening Saurman, Gandalf seemed lost in thought. I guessed that he was having a conversation with Lady G telepathically. I could hear them discussing something in my head and I knew immediately that it had to be about the blade. My guess was right when he reached in his robes and took out the blade that Radagast gave him before they were chased with orcs. He placed it on the table, drawing everyone's attention. Lord Elrond uncovered it, revealing the morgul blade. I could feel the darkness surrounding it, making me groan. It felt like someone was calling for me, seducing me to the dark side. I looked away from it, unable to handle the pain anymore. I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw Lady G looking at me with a soft smile. I returned it, letting her know that I was okay. I felt her enter my mind.

My child you have great power within you. I sense a power that has been lost for a long time.

That explains why I got affected when I saw the blade. Do I have darkness in me? Can you help me make sense of this?

My dear child, you hold an ancient and strong power. You hail from an old race, one that was said to be wiped out long ago. I can feel your confusion. Do not fear young one, there is no darkness in you. Have faith, my child.

My attention went back to the current problem.

"What is that?"

"A relic of Mordor."

"A Morgul blade."

"Made for the Witch-king of Angmar and buried with him. When Angmar fell, the men of the north took his body and all that he possessed and sealed it within the High Fells of Rhudaur. Deep within the rock, they buried him. In a tomb so dark, it would never come to light."

"Damn, it sounds like my kind of place. No too mention, no people that can talk back. Ooh sign me the fuck up. And not to mention mystery. Oooh this is giving me ideas for a story. I can't wait-."

Kate hit the back of my head, shaking her head while Lilith rolled her eyes at me. They were so done with me.

"This is not possible. A powerful spell lies upon those tombs. They cannot be opened."

"What proof do we have that this weapon came from Angmar's grave?"

"I have none."

"Because there is none. Let us examine what we know. A single orc pack has dared to cross the Bruinen. A dagger from the bygone age has been found. And a human sorcerer who calls himself the Necromancer has taken up refuge in an old ruined fortress. It's not very much, after all. The question of this Dwarvish company, however, troubles me deeply. I'm not convinced, Gandalf. I do not feel I can condone such a quest. If they'd come to me, I might have spared them this disappointment. I do not pretend to understand your reason for raising their hopes..."

He just kept going on and on. I swear does he ever shut up? I mean seriously, I'm surprised I haven't cut my ears off with how annoying he is. I just looked at him with a bored expression, Kate was emotionless but Lilith? She was seething with anger. I mean who wouldn't. Dude literally disrespected her father, I literally do the same. Plus he insulted Gandalf. More of a reason to hate him. I heard footsteps and turned to the entrance to see Lindir walking towards us with a panicked look.

"My Lord Elrond, the dwarves, they've gone."

I looked at Gandalf and gave him a small smirk. He gave me a wink. The girls looked at me and we smirked. Now they can't stop them from reclaiming Erebor Soon Lady G came up to me. My guess, to tell me how I was able to sense the darkness surrounding the blade.

"My dear, tell me, have you heard of the Kharonn Clan?"

"No, never."

She then explained who they were. They were a race that had fire powers and could manipulate it to their will. They could sense and feel darkness which often came in handy, they had phoenix abilities, even transform into one but only the truly skilled and powerful were able to. They got visions which would explain a lot considering that I've been having visions a lot lately. But they also had another secret, they had dragon magic running through their veins. They had the strength and power of a dragon. They were even able to transform into one on command. I was in such shock that I started walking backwards until I hit the table, leaning against it. This was a lot to take in. But what I didn't understand was how I could be one of them. I wasn't born in Middle Earth nor did my parents have any magic.

"But that can't be. I wasn't born in Middle Earth. Neither of my parents possessed magical abilities."

"Who were your parents?"

"Um, my mom's name was Aurora and my dad's name was Ragnar. I just thought he had an ancient heritage so I didn't really look into it. I had a brother Tommy but he died four years ago."

" I know Those names. I knew your mother well. In fact so did Gandalf, better than anyone. She was indeed also from the Kharonn clan. He was a very powerful warrior. Her power could rival the dark lord. I always wondered what happened to her and her family."

"My mother was a Kharonn? I never knew that. She died when I was four alongside my dad. They never told us anything about it. They didn't get a chance. But how did they...wait that's it, of course, they went through the portal. I must have still been in my mothers womb. Like Lilith and mama. What I'm still trying to understand is how You knew my parents Gandalf? Were you good friends of theirs?"

"Yes I guess you could say that. They were very important to me."

"You must tell her Mithrandir. She must know."

"I must know what?"

"My dear child, your mother was the most important person in my life. My wife and I loved her so much. When she left, it broke my heart."

He put his hands on my shoulders as I listened to him speak. I'm still so confused. I looked at him in confusion until my eyes widened in realisation. He. He's my Grandfather. Gandalf the Grey is my Grandfather. I had a family. My eyes teared up as I looked up at him. He looked at me with a soft smile.

"Yes My dear. Your mother was my daughter. You are my granddaughter. I figured it out that night in Bag End. I just didn't know how to tell. I'm sorry for keeping this a secret my child."

I stepped back before literally screaming:

"Holy shit!!!! Gandalf the Grey is my grandfather?! I have a wizard for a grandfather!!! Whoa didn't see that coming, Ah but that explains why I was always so comfortable and safe around you. Cool, cool, cool, cool. Okay so let me get this straight (HEHE STRAIGHT), my parents were from Middle Earth, I'm part of an ancient and powerful race, I have fire magic, my grandfather is the greatest wizard of all time, I can transform into a dragon on command and I'm super duper powerful. Ooh plus I'm half wizard. Damn this is the best day ever. I'm so happy you're my grandfather."

I hugged Gandalf, letting my tears fall. He held me in his embrace, rubbing my back in comfort. He placed a couple kisses on my head. I finally pulled back and looked up at him with a smile. He chuckled at my childishness before returning the smile. I looked at my sisters. They were smiling with tears in their eyes, Lord Elrond smiled at me and grandpa with a look of happiness. Lady G came up to me and put her hands on my shoulders. I turned around and hugged, thanking her for helping me find my family. But I still didn't know what race my father was.

"Um grandpa, I know mom was part wizard and part Kharonn but I still don't know what race dad was."

"Your father was a dwarf. He was a dwarf from Erebor actually. Ragnar, Son of Razor. He was a very strong and powerful dwarf. He saved your mother the first day they met. She was fighting a big pack of orcs by herself when he found her and helped her. They ran into each a few times after that before deciding to travel together. They fell in love and he asked to court her. They were courted for about 20 years before they finally got married. Your mother was with child a few years later and had your brother Tommy. A few years later she was with a child again, you. However word got out about your mother being Kharonn. Only her and your grandmother were left so they went after them. They killed your grandma. We decided that it was better if they disappeared completely. We came across the cave and that was the last time I saw or heard of them."

"Motherfuckers killed my grandma. Oh now I have more of a reason to kill those bastards. But what matters is that they didn't kill mom and dad. So I'm a third dwarf, a third wizard and a third Kharonn. That's so fucking awesome. I can turn into a dragon. Yes. All the chaos I can bring. Arson!! Don't worry I won't actually do anything like that. Maybe with orcs but that's it. I'm just so happy. Ooh maybe I can be the one to take on that overgrown lizard. Ooh I can see it now. I can't wait."

I ran to my sisters jumping up and down. I tugged on their sleeves until they eventually hit the back of my head. I groaned and pouted. How dare they hit me.

"What happened to your brother, my child?"

I looked at Lady G and remembered that Tommy will never get to meet grandpa. I immediately felt the mood dampen.

"Tommy...He was killed a few years ago. Some guy tried to take his money and anything valuable. He didn't comply so he ended up getting stabbed. The guy just left him for dead. The police called us a few hours later. We all miss him very much."

She looked at us with a sad smile. I looked at grandpa. I could tell that he missed tommy. I could feel his pain and anger. But I could also feel his sadness and heartbreak. He'll never get to meet his little boy. I hugged grandpa tightly, making him return it and giving me a kiss on my forehead. At least he's still alive in our hearts. Soon everyone had made peace with Tommy's death. I realised that bastard Saurman was still here. He looked completely angry. Not surprised. I turned to Lilith.

"Okay now you can rip him a new one...again. He disrespected my grandpa, our friends and I know that you want to expose him so he's all yours sis. Everyone else, I suggest you take a seat, get some snacks and watch the drama unfold." Kate and I sat in the steps, smirking at what was about to happen. Lady G and grandpa stood next to us and they looked somewhat excited. Lord Elrond just looked at us extremely confused as did Lindir. 

This is where the fun begins.

YAY Renee found her family. And its freaking Gandalf. Who wouldn't want Gandalf as a grandfather. Anyway You're probably super duper confused about the whole Kharonn thing. So I was trying to come up with an ancient race that was supposed to be gone but obviously wasn't. We will dive deeper into Renee's heritage as the story progresses. My co writer Chloe got this idea frim Criminal minds and we just changed it up a bit. So I've had this idea for a long time. I know that everyone is waiting to see Lilith literally tear Saurman apart but you need to wait for the next chapter. I don't know when that will be because soon Ill be going camping with my family and I wont be allowed to bring my laptop. 32. Does their use of/skill in magic differ from canon? How so?

Well, the canon magic system seems to be a kind of soft one, right? Sometimes it's as simple as willing a thing to happen, like thinking of fire and summoning a flame, and sometimes whole entire rituals are required. There are also different classes of it, like green magic, alchemy, blood magic, etc. Also, everybody's magic has a different feel to it, and the Apprentice can pick up on it. So with that in mind:

Ximena's magic feels like a cool, gentle breeze, but can come off a terrifying gale if she's mad enough. It manifests itself in pale, silvery wisps when unfocused. And since her aunt was all green magic, and her dad is ridiculously powerful in the abstract formation of will, Ximena has a very good grasp on both. She is a powerful magician, and she often uses magic to do everyday things.

Lilith's magic feels very sharp, like a whipcrack. She has a very tight control on it and is extremely powerful. She knows this, and she will use it to her advantage. Don't ask her to do green magic though, plants aren't her thing.

Zuri's magic feels like...nothingness, emptiness, a cold dark void. And it kinda frightens her a little. It also gets away from her sometimes, especially if something happens to break her concentration. She has a lot of power that she doesn't really know what to do with. She does better if she has a partner to form a circle with.

Lorica's magic feels playful, like butterfly kisses and playing tag. She's a good magician, but she works better with a focus. That's why she keeps spare crystals in her bag.

Rajani's magic feels like spring, green and alive. Which makes sense, as their focus is mostly on green magic and healing. They do like doing stuff the old-fashioned way though, so you won't catch them using magic for most daily chores and stuff.

Bellamy's magic feels warm and bright, like a sunny summer day. He's a bit better at reading the cards than he is at magic, mostly because his attention tends to wander. He's something of a Jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none in magic; he can do a little healing, he can do green magic, he can manifest his will if he really tries, he works with a focus if he remembers to bring one. Don't ask him to do the fancy rituals or alchemy though, that's way too complicated. He does become a lot more powerful when when casting with a partner who can help him concentrate. Oh, and he can talk to animals. Which is just a very normal thing to him that always astounds everyone else.

45. Are they more street smart or book smart? Something else?

Ximena is a bit of both. She reads a lot and is highly intelligent, and she can navigate a lot of situations purely by bullshitting her way through them. She prefers to sit back and observe as long as possible before acting in most situations, or just cast a cloaking spell and dip if something is too much.

Lilith is book smart, but she's not exactly street smart. She does, however, have a very authoritative presence and can be extremely menacing when she chooses, and uses it to her advantage. If she starts speaking very slowly and precisely with that little smile, run.

Zuri is extremely book smart, but has no street smarts whatsoever. People are terrifying and confusing and why do strangers talk to her and can she please just go home now???

Lorica is a mix. She's well-read, but not a genius, and she can navigate most situations by staying calm and listening. Politeness is key.

Rajani is more street smart. They are intelligent, but they prefer reading people to reading books. They're also quite good at smoothing things over with little distractions. "Oh, let me buy you a drink, that's a lovely bracelet, hey did you hear about this..."

Bellamy is...neither. He's not an idiot by any means, but he tends to just float through life by being a good dude who smiles and laughs a lot. People like him. He likes people. And if he screws up, he apologizes. It works, at least most of the time.

✍️: 😈- pretty much as a laid back character, most likely scene sleeping. 50 of the fandom views as lazy and does nothing but the other 50 says she does stuff at night and is not lazy and is actually important. Because she is in the main cast of the ada I would think that she is a main character along with ada!Liam.

👠- the simps are everywhere. Some say she relies on her appears to much while others may say she is to similar to chuuya with arabaki. But overall i'd hope that they would like her. In-between, mostly scene with chuuya of pm!Liam. You would see doomsday in action somewhere (don't know were yet)

🌊-overall i'd say pretty well. They'd focus on her extendable hands and feet. I'd say side character because she would be implied when vaggie says Charlie has to talk to Luci for help, you'd see her contact on Charlie's phone, it would say "second mom or fish mom". They would also say how she believed in Charlie and actually tried to help her.

🌟- I would think pretty well but would question why have they not seen her. It would be implied that she is sleeping. She would have a big role considering that she is the creator but would not be seen until much later in the game, There would be books about her to buy, a statue of her in every nation and most if not all characters would have some dialogue about her.

📝: 😈- Her story is already on my blog, but I will give you a quick rundown, moon's birth parents were killed and her favorite aunt was killed in battle, so she only had Liam left, her other aunt, uncle and cousin were assholes to her because she is a demon, Liam was only who would help her, at the age of 16 they both fled to Yokohama (they were originally in Italy) Both were adopted by Fukuzawa. Moon originally avoided dazai when he first came to the agency because he reacked of sin, but over time they began to trust each other. Moon basically adopted atsushi,Kenji and kyoka. Ranpo and Moon are like siblings as well as Ranpo and Ada!Liam. The twins would first be scene in episode one at the end.

👠- her story is on my blog but she would first be scene when Dazai got captured by the pm. It would be in-between when aku meet him and Chuuya. Moon would say "look what the cat dragged in...". It would give Dazai a another rival-ish. Pm!Liam would hate his guts.

🌊- you would most likely not see her story until later but it would be implied that she is afraid that once Lilith returns she would lose her husband. She would be mentioned couple times by the v's and the hotel crew. But she would appear along side Luci when he went to the hotel. The bond between Lucifer and Charlie would be slightly better and Charlie would be close to her (platonically).

🌟- I can't tell the whole story (saving that for a fic) but in this au the gnosis's are actually the ancient gods heart's. The traveler would feel a connection to the creator and want to meet them, but piamom would say that they haven't seen the great corruption war. All the archons would say something about the creator, that they haven't met them but know that they deserve nothing but the best. Subtle hints that the creator is in the desert in sumaru. So the travel's goal would be to find the creator to ask them.

🤪: 😈-The fact that she is a demon, kinda of a tsundere and sleeps alot (also that Ada!Liam is the exact opposite of her)

👠- The fact that she has a body similar to Jessica rabbit. And that chuuya is basically Roger rabbit. (aka a head over heels for her) The height difference, and that with a couple sweet words and kisses he becomes putty in her hands.

🌊- can't stand modern slang. Lucifer and her are like Morticia Addams and Gomez Addams.

🌟- that most people (of age) are in love with her, she once had a war harem, and will probably get another one.

🥰: 😈- that she is like a mother to the children and atsushi.

👠- that she doesn't really on her looks, she understands chuuya and was there for him.

Hurt/comfort for dazai would be him stoping her from trying to cut out her demonic marks on her body, telling her that she is not evil or a monster because she is a demon. Or moon breaking dazai's facaude and letting him cry on her shoulder while she comforts him telling him that he deserves good things and it's not fault for oda's death. Kunikida fluff would be him telling her she is his ideal woman. Hurt/comfort would be moon telling him that it's not his fault for the child's death (cannibal arc).

👠- mostly fluff but some angst. It would just be them being wholesome together. Like Moon and Chuuya baking together. The angst would be chuuya thinking he is only a replacement for dazai. That she is only with him to fill the hole that he left in her, that she doesn't actually love him.

🌊- mix, the fluff would be them doing wholesome things together. The angst would be moon thinking that she is only there until Lilith returns and then he will leave her. Hurt/comfort would be Luci comforting moon after she had a nightmare of her death, or Moon reassuring Luci that she loves him.

🌟- the thing is...Most of the playable characters in genshin (of age) will be a love interest. So a mix.

i love how lilith clawthorne subverts that old romcom trope of "cold, distant, and unhappy Career Woman is convinced that she doesn't want romance. later, she learns that there is more to life than working and learns to open up to people. and then she realizes that she does want romance and that she was silly for thinking otherwise."

the part about learning that there's more to life than work stays the same but. instead, after learning that lesson, she realizes that she definitively does NOT want romance (whereas before she simply gave no thought to romance, and didn't realize it was a thing she didn't want)

like. she starts out the story completely absorbed by her work. she's miserable. she has to repress most of her emotions and a lot of her personality. she has no time to think about what she likes and dislikes, or what she wants/doesn't want in life.

and then. she leaves that environment.

she reforges her close bond with her sister. she makes a new best friend, who helps her realize that it's okay to ask for help and that her worth doesn't depend on how productive she is (an extra important lesson with her newly acquired disability). she takes joy in her role as an aunt to her sister's children. she reconnects with her parents and tries to make up for lost time.

and she figures out who she is and begins to find out what brings her joy and learns to express herself. she has a passion for history and architecture. she's inquisitive and excitable and nerdy and outright goofy at times. and she decides that she does want a career, but one that she genuinely enjoys and that gives her a good work-life balance and doesn't force her to repress who she is.

and throughout all that, she gets the time to think about romance. she now has the time and the emotional bandwidth to have a romantic relationship- and there are plenty of people (of multiple genders) who are interested in her romantically. but even more than that, she's gotten the chance to actually think about what she wants (both related and unrelated to romance). and now that she gets the time to think about romance she finally decides that she doesn't want it.

like, the original trope is often so amatonormative (and heteronormative). and while they never have the woman identify as aro, they tend to portray not wanting romance as a thing to be fixed. (also sometimes the whole career thing becomes less of a good "nobody should sell their soul to capitalism" message and more of a bad "women belong in the home, and their relationships to others (especially male romantic partners) must always be put above their other passions." which kinda makes me happy that lilith is now working at a museum and enjoying it, rather than aunt/sister/daughter/friend being her ONLY role in life)

Reblogging this post from a while back because Lilith as a mother to Adam is something that always intrigues me writing wise (and it's why I do have a lot of threads post-Adam even if Adam isn't in the thread), because she doesn't change when she has her son; the writers were one of the rare ones that didn't think making a character a mother means that becomes her whole personality, they recognised that it was just a new layer to add to the many she has already, and that is both how it's written and how it's performed.

And it's a really interesting layer, not least because she really does love and care for him, there's no hesitation in that and nor does she try to hide it. She possibly might have tried to hide it if she'd given birth to him in Hell, but here, surrounded by witches who are supportive, she doesn't hide it at all; in fact, she embraces it.

And I think one of the reasons I'm always intrigued by it and want to explore it more, is I feel if we'd gotten to see her raise Adam (either by aging him up magically or by the show going on for as long as the X Files, haha), I think we would have seen a lot of parallels between her and Adam and Zelda/Hilda and Sabrina. I think Lilith and the Aunts have more in common than they realise, just as Sabrina and Lilith have more in common than they realise, and it would have been the perfect premise to explore and show that.

Also, as a side note, I would have love to see Hilda and Zelda also getting all maternal with Adam, being the aunties to their niece's little brother.

We’ve just seen her rocking Adam, she just loudly shushed Hilda not to wake him up once he’d gone to sleep, we’ve seen the whole room in chaos with blankets, towels, bottles, cups of tea and Lilith’s clothes everywhere. I do love the chaos of it, yes, from a comedy point of view, but I also love that it shows Lilith is being actively Adam’s Mother. We can see the evidence of full engagement in the role here on so many levels. 

And just the way she turns away in a mixture of frustration and exhaustion, the way she flicks her hair out of her way abruptly in a way we have never seen before (Lilith always seems to be actively using her hair and rarely pushes it out of the way. In fact, the only example I can think of is when she’s seducing the pizza boy in preparation for eating him) and yet here’s she just like ‘pfft out of my face’. 

And the way she’s standing and holding herself is so different. Usually Lilith is holding herself in a way that either says she’s in command or is actively using her looks/sexuality for a purpose or is stood in a position of judging the hell out of someone. She never has a bent over posture, she never has her hands on her hips in a tired display…she’s just…..not on here. She’s not on at all…she’s just being. This is Lilith in full New Mum Mode because, as I said on my earlier post about Lilith never doing things by halves….she’s not doing being Adam’s Mother by half either. She’s all in. And that includes being exhausted and frustrated and your hair getting in your way.

Although I love that in true Lilith style, she still doesn’t tie it up. Lilith’s hair in all her mythologies is about it being wild and loose, especially within a society where proper, well-to-do women have it bound or hidden or tied up. So I liked that even in this scenario,  she still has her hair loose.
