And I was so excited for their new designs too!! Like they aged the trio so well!!! I don't want to spoil it but damn so many things feel unfinished? Even the animation felt a little worse than previous seasons.... (spoiler in the tags oops)

so yeah, let’s get into it! just posting to say that yeah i used astv gwen because i wanted to make a cool graphic. but since she brought the point up, she used uncredited fanart of astv miles g who is 14-15 in a fic where he is murdered and his girlfriend as well (done by the reader). just weird how people keep coming to me with screenshots of her still blabbing to nobody about me because i discussed on my platform that her fics are inappropriate and aging up doesn’t justify romanticized yandere gore where explicit killings happen in the fic versus a scream au.
but again, let me make a fool of you. here is your deleted scream au miles twins fic in which you did the same concept of using their faces in astv (14-15 ages, freshman to sophomore) to create a graphic. which is not wrong for a graphic, especially if it’s JUST a graphic because there’s so prowler miles content. but to come at me for the same thing and act holier than thou?
and this is also you using art of 14-15 miles g for an aged of fic where he is murdered and so is his made up girlfriend for the fic. again, some of your fics are unsafe for minors and im not gonna have you try and rationalize n act like boo boo the fool on your own page. you wanna use the scream au of ghostface gwen as unsafe for minors even tho my gwen is in the appropriate age range (which you acknowledged), ok! apply that to yourself. againn with the nitpicking you accuse everyone but yourself of doing.

you gotta stop trying for digging for scraps in the trash that aren’t there, cus now you getting messy. i covered all my tracks because gwen target audience is people 17-21 which is why a lot of my readers age from being around seventeen to the most nineteen. you pushing the graphic but not the content in the fic which is completely appropriate, however i can’t say the same for whatever was in your fic about 14-15 year old twins which i won’t comment on because it’s not that deep it’s a scream au. the problem isn’t that people treat miles like a living breathing character, which isn’t true in most cases, it’s people similar to some of your fics that perpetuate inappropriate behavior with a minor character like suggestive content, drugs, sex, drinking, etc.
and since i know you seen my page about it and my gwen fic is your only defense as well as you rebloging the weird yandere fic you made, then you are also aware that there is no aged up miles baby daddy fic that talia write beside in your imagination. i been letting you yap on your page all you want…. cus it’s your page and the internet like nobody gives that big a fuck. but like i said im here to clear up misinformation and when people PREACH stupidity on my name.. so here’s another debunking. la hipocresía es demasiado buena🙏 you tried, next!

why do the people who age up fictional characters get hate but the writers who are legal and share smut with real life minors dont get any hate at all
Hi Anon, this is going to go on for a while. Sorry, sorta.
I'm going to answer this as best I can and I hope you find some closure or at the very least, some part of something you were looking for.
The long and short of it is, I don't know.
I think maybe because the stuff on the internet is so much more easily accessible is one of the main reasons (we) fanfic writers are such direct targets. Sure, I know books are everywhere, too. Though, don't stores card for stuff like that? I haven't purchased a paper copy of anything for so long that I don't know what the protocol is. And I look well over 18+ so maybe they just don't bother carding people who look it.
There are plenty of books out there that are not appropriate for anyone under the age of 18. Possibly - depending on one's beliefs - for people over the age of 18.
That's not for me to decide, though.
What I DO MAKE SURE TO DO is label each piece of writing I do that is not for a younger audience and put in my bio that what I write is not for the consumption of anyone under 18. I believe my exact words were "This shit show is 18+. You've been warned." Something like that.
"18+ MINORS DO NOT INTERACT 18+"
I put a second 18+ in case the first one was missed.
I think it's just a matter of access. The internet is, for all intents and purposes, free, once you have an opening to it you can get damn near anything you really want to see on it without parental consent. Unless you have parents who have put a block on this dumpster fire. In which case, you should make a mental note to thank them when you're grown and see just what the Christ is going on out here sometimes, lol. If you're in a bookstore and you want to buy a copy of Playboy, you're going to be shut down from your attempt if you're ... oh, say 15? 16? Either that or heavily carded/ID'd. And if you don't provide verifiable proof of your age, they should turn you away.
I'm not saying that because this stuff is so easy to get to that it's ok by any means for any minor to read. I wish that everyone who isn't of legal age (here or wherever they reside) would heed the warnings. They're there for a reason.
Now, I'm going to touch on aging up characters. I'm guilty of not always putting that I aged up whoever I was writing about if they needed to be. But THEY'RE FAKE. They're lines. They're art. They're paper, basically. Ink and paper. So I don't understand how someone can go from blasting an actual pedo to getting on here and saying that fanfic writers are just as bad. It pisses me off, if I'm being honest. The comparison is quite a stretch, I think. Because while I am not that faithful about documenting that I aged up characters, in my head, they're no younger than 21-40. And that's probably why I don't say I am aging them up because I just don't see them as minors. I've noticed that male characters in anime often look considerably older than they are. Maybe that's because they're the hero of the day or whatever. And I don't write about female characters. Not because I hate them, but I really just don't have any interest in doing that.
The vast majority of us all make it a point to say that the character(s) we write about are of legal age to partake in such ... activities. I don't know. I went through a phase where I felt like absolute shit about myself because of some of the stuff I read about people (on HERE - other writers) comparing someone who abuses an actual minor to a writer that talks about getting down and dirty with a 17 yr old superhero (again, they don't exist). But when I came to the conclusion (very shortly after reading those opinions) that I would never never never ever ever ever do anything so fucking disgusting, I got over it.
There are miles between reality and fiction. If someone else can't separate the two, maybe they're the ones who need the help?
The whole premise of that world, the anime world, is the impossible. Is it not? And I'm not saying in any capacity is it ok to look at someone and assume just because they look older that it must be ok to engage with them. IT'S NOT.

Nobody likes you when you’re 23
Whelp, not only has it been a month since Dawud moved to San Myshuno, it’s also his 23rd birthday. He wasn’t planning on doing anything special, especially since it fell on a Thursday, but then Rudi insisted on going to a karaoke bar to celebrate these two occasions. Which Dawud wasn’t that looking forward to, especially since he doesn’t drink and he can’t sing, but whatever, he had nothing better to do that night.
Dawud: 23...Like...I know I’m not old, but still impressive I made it to 23 and without achieving anything. Charlie: Eh, at least you made it to 23. Meanwhile, call me a clothing store with a target audience of teenage girls, cause I’m forever 21. Daniele: And at least you became a vampire after becoming old enough to drink. Look at the bright side! Charlie: Wait a minute, aren’t you yourself only 20? Daniele: Yeah but not only do the bartender doesn’t know that, but I’m from Italy. I’ve been drinking wine at every dinner time since I was like, 9. Like, most countries have it at 18, not my fault if this place is backward.
Dawud laid his head against the table, in a mild sense of despair (and also from how loud and bright everything was). He knows all thing considered, he’s still young, and his situation is not all that unusual amongst people his age nowadays, but still. That’s not where he was expecting his life to go when he was put in a gifted kids class, skipped a grade, and then graduated high school early at the top of his class. And here he is now, a college drop out working as a janitor and living in an overcrowded apartment. At least he knows how to drive, but he doesn’t have a car so what’s the point then?
Daniele: You already look wasted and you only took one sip of your drink. Dawud: Even funnier and/or sadder is that there’s no alcohol in there. It’s sparkling apple juice. I don’t drink for religious reasons. Daniele: You’re regularly having premarital sex with a vampire, two things frowned upon in pretty much every big religions, and you constantly walk around the house half-naked even though you’re “insecure”. We both know you’re not that religious. Dawud: Clothes are uncomfortable and I still don’t wanna drink ok. Let me live. Akva: It’s ok, I’m not drinking either. Like, not only am I 19 but I’m also, you know, pregnant. Daniele: Oh so you’re keeping it? Damn, what am I supposed to do with the five miscarriage potions I made then? Charlie: I don’t think we would have needed that many potion anyway. Unless Kino is right and everyone in this house is somehow “with child”. Daniele: Yeah, Dawud, don’t feel too bad about what Kino said the other day. Like, they pretty much asked me the same thing when we first met, and when I said no they told me “but you have such beautiful child-birthing hips”. This was a little over a year ago and it still haunts me.
Akva took a sip of her cherry soda, and then confirmed that yes, she decided to keep it. Though she’s not really sure if she wants to raise the baby or put it for adoption. All of this because she managed to guilt trip herself by watching videos made by women with fertility issues, which might be the worst reason imaginable to have a baby, but at this point there was nothing to do. Her mind was made. Hopefully, this won’t be a mistake. After all, better to regret not having a child than regret having one.
Dawud: “The doctor said my mom should have had an abortion”. Charlie: Oh no, really? That’s kinda sad. Dawud: It’s from a song. I like early 2000s pop-punk. Makes me nostalgic even though I was just a toddler back then.
Rudi, who had just left the bathroom, heard this, and it gave them an idea. The friends were at a karaoke bar after all, and Rudi wanted to sing. Dawud and Charlie sat together, in front of the karaoke machine, next to Kino who was already watching other people’s performance. Charlie then sat on him, and kissed him, which he reciprocate with joy. It had been a few weeks already, but the young man still felt in awe over the fact that he kinda has a girlfriend now, even though they were both a bit hesitant to make this official. They literally met only a month ago after all.
Kino: Get a room. Rudi: Ok everyone, so since today my dear friend Dawud is turning 23, I’ve decided to sing for him What’s My Age Again by blink-182.
To show his approval, Dawud gave them a thumbs up. He was too busy shoving his tongue down Charlie’s throat to give a verbal sign. And as Rudi began to sing, he kept on doing that, while Kino sat there mildly uncomfortable.

DAY 1- Firestarter: "it was mid but the ending was cool and the soundtrack fuckt" DAY 2- Prince of Darkness: "great buildup but the climax stinks. Lots of nice ideas in it though and a great soundtrack again" Day 6- Talk To Me: "the plot was kinda shit but the scares were nice and sickening, just the way i like em" Day 8- Videodrome: "super fucking weird but still actually really good. Wasn't too sure about it in the beginning but was sold by the end. Good body horror as well but i'd encourage anyone giving it a watch to look further than just that" Day 9- You Are Not My Mother: "mixed but fairly positive feelings. Horror was good and I liked the central concept as well as the lesbian love story, but the 'main' bully was SO over the top that anything involving her was hard to take seriously. The very end also felt a little pointless and slapped on." Day 15- Brain Damage: "an okay "so bad it's good" movie but nothing more" (i am SO full of shit for this... how can you see the blowjob scene and not recognize a masterpiece) Day 19- The Blob: ""What's ten million dead if it's keeping out the Russians?" SURPRISINGLY good! brian is hawt and actually CORRECT and hes never framed as being a dick for it AND him and meg DONT EVEN KISS AT THE END!!! IT'S A HALLOWEEN MIRACLE!!" Not so much scary or disturbing like the original was, but what it lacks there it makes up for in being morbidly fascinating instead." Day 23- An American Werewolf in London: "late to add my commentary but it's not very good but is at least funny." I've noticed Woo interacting more with Yuta in recent content. However, I still think he is straight, so there is no "gives a chance" with such a view of mine. Didn't notice anything unusual or sus in the vlog as well (exept for 21:29 hand on neck).
Do is a natural chattermouth. Jungwoo seems to me to be less talkative. Woo feels the need to create content though, to talk about something. Like during an MV recording or a photoshoot he will comment the most (about nothing, really). SM finds non-idol jobs for their artists, Woo is trained as MC and a variety persona. Jaehyun doesn't bother with content. He serves looks, lol. He is aiming to be singer-songwriter and a moody actor.
Either Jae was sleepy or didn't feel himself too well. He barely ate, and looked off a few times. Maybe a stomack or head acke. Do even pushed him to eat more (8:22 he says the meat is very warm looking at Jae). Thus he was even less withdrawn than usual.
9:37 - Do explains something to Jae. You can notice easily how Jae kept to Do despite Do changing people to talk with. Also easy to notice how Johnny singled out Do for the company.

okay i tried not to write a post about this but anyway here we go. so last night, on my fb watch feed, i decided to watch this irritating entrepreneur girl who was easily like 22 or so, try to give life advice about “how to be an entrepreneur!!” and “how to be rich like me by 22!!!” here’s some of the worst advice she had:
(1.) every millionaire/billionaire has several streams of income. for example i have my music/YT channel, my 8 businesses, my sponsorship deals, my several online classes that i teach on how to become a millionaire by 22!!! my upcoming ventures and art!!! my house, the condo that i rent out and stocks!!! so all up i have about 7 streams of income and if you don’t have my mindset you’re just weak and will never survive in this world 😊!
(2.) always work for free!!! bc you’re useless without experience. for example most of my first YT videos i did with brands were done for free. always take free/unpaid internships or work experience, and don’t think you have to get paid for everything!! get off of your high horse of self righteousness and work like a minion for free to build your portfolio so people will learn to take you seriously!!! because if you always expect to get paid, no one will take you seriously even with a portfolio. (remember: all of this will make you humble for your forced efforts of labour and capital! be grateful that they even took you on 😊!)
(3.) remember we all have the same 24 hours in a day as beyoncé!!! remember it’s all in your mindset!!! use all 24 hours to constantly level up. always believe in the laws of attraction so always have vision boards ready!!!
(4.) ok not to stop being cutesy and feel good (😊🥰) but always have a great therapist and life coach on hand when your mental health goes down hill!!! trust me, i used to be like “i’m all happy go lucky all the time!!! i’m a ray of sunlight!!” but y’all i was lying and i know y’all are too!! always have a therapist/life coach to get you away from your negative thought spirals!!!
(5.) any friend who doesn’t support your streams of income or your business goals which should always involve girlbossing far too close to the sun… cut them out *snip snip* of your life…. so that you can afford the cutting out of toxic and unsupportive people out of your life to only have unwavering support always in your circle! just have a completely relentless drive to build income for yourself!!! no matter how many bridges you burn and friends you sever from your immediate circle!!!
and there was so much else. but good god. it was just awful and i have no idea why i thought it was a good idea to watch this train wreck of a money advice video from an already rich and overly privileged early 20 something YTer. and luckily no one was taking her advice seriously…. since she was so young and was SO VERY OBVIOUSLY coming from a place of immense privilege and comfort. like ok. the therapist advice is good advice, if only therapy was actually affordable to everyone in the US (bc yes this girl was american). but even as an aussie, therapy isn’t that affordable either, and especially while job-searching on the aussie job seeking social security payment. my old therapist has closed her books bc of the pandemic, and i’m kind of like iffy i guess with the idea of therapist trialling/shopping, besides the point that i actually don’t have much time or money for it either.
like obvs i am defs not her target audience, being poor and all. but like what the fuck. who the fuck wants to waste their time with 7 streams of income and just caring about business ventures and always severing friends who “don’t serve you and your dreams and business visions” at every step of the way???? what a fucking atrocious way to live your life: only relentlessly caring about how much money you make every second of the day at such a young age. bc like this girl is 21 or 22… where the fuck are her breaks from all her supposed “work” and “business ventures” and “streams of income” and her “mindset”???? what the fuck.
bc where the fuck are her friends for fun and frivolous brunch dates??? for deep talks and heartfelt shit when or if her life goes up in flames or ends up in tatters after one (1) wrong social media move that gets her cancelled forever???? because let me tell you now, josie, it sure as fuck won’t be your precious buddy-buddy business opportunist/venture capitalist sponsors and investors. bc they’ll all drop you like a fucking hot potato if you do something terrible or slip up even the tiniest bit. bc no one wants to clean up that PR etc nightmare.
i liked that everyone was calling her incredibly short sighted and clueless in the comments on the video, in regards to her comments about “always work for free to build your resume and to prove yourself as worthy to everyone!“ and the dreaded bullshit of “we all have the same 24 hours in a day, so what on earth is stopping you from having 10 streams of income and working yourself to death????” oh that’s right! your mindset! if you always have a bad mindset of “i’ll never achieve anything feel sorry for me and my business dreams!” you don’t deserve to be successful. and that’s that! stop lying to yourself and making excuses for yourself and your mindset will improve!!!” i love how everyone in the comments was pointing out that this sounds/sounded incredibly MLM-y/ish. bc this is the exact type of toxic bullshit that people say MLM people use to pull them into selling their snake oil bullshit.
like. i absolutely will not work for free josie. no one should be expected to do that now in a global pandemic. i deserve pay for wasting my time doing a spreadsheet for a boutique marketing firm in sydney during an internship, no matter how long it is. or if it’s not something in marketing, i deserve to get paid a full fair wage for working in retail or food, since apparently that’s all i’m good for, even with a marketing advanced diploma and 2 degrees but no “solid professional job experience”. i do not want your absolutely bullshit mindset advice in your completely and utterly vapid and self-aggrandising courses about “how to be a millionaire/billionaire by 21 ����💵💰💳💲💲🤑🤑🤩👸🏻💎!!” when i know that you’re probably already from some type of very privileged background anyway, being a spoilt YTer already. i am NOT making excuses for wanting to be treated fairly and paid accordingly. and nor is anyone else today, in the hellscape that is the “competitive job market”, no matter what country you live in and also the pandemic et al.
also, for everyone who has to pay rent and pay gas/electricity and water etc etc etc bills, how the fuck are they going to pay for all of that if “oh work for free and for vibes and proper mindset building!”….. all of which don’t pay fucking jack shit in real life. vision boards only work for rich people who can then claim it was “the attraction pull of the universe and fate and manifest destiny!” instead of them realistically paying hundreds if not thousands or millions of dollars for sponsorship deals by negotiating contracts or whatever else. the “universe” and “fate” barely ever work in favour of the working class and the poor. bc no law of attraction is going to give me a paid traineeship, all because i manifested my destiny onto some shitty but aesthetically pleasing vision board with inspirational quotes on my bedroom wall. btw how the hell are you paying the rent and bills on your house and your rented out condo???? because i’m sure as fuck that it isn’t through manifest destiny and the universe aligning correctly with your specific business goals, is it??? it’s either your parents money or possibly yours.
she did have an obvious piece of advice that you see all the time, of “have a savings only acc that you can’t touch to really save your money!” but as i said above, when the cost of living is going up globally because of the pandemic, how the fuck is anyone able to save money anyway???? like i’m even finding it hard living at home on social security (given my pay is only $630 a fortnight, and this girl was talking like apparently $20,000 a month from her “7 streams of income” or some shit- so that’s already VASTLY out of touch with everyone in the comments watching the video). but also, as mentioned above, josie, how the fuck am i meant to save money if you’re spinning the bs of “always work for free!”…. like are my savings coming from my vision board???? from the severed ties of all the friends (or haters) that don’t support my streams of income and “girlboss goals”??? from my stupidly expensive life coach from linkedin???
just. it was one of the worst things i’ve ever watched tbh. and it shows just how incredibly fucking toxic hustle/grind/productivity culture along with toxic positivity and the bs spiels about vision boards and “manifest destiny” are to these grind all day people; but also to society at large. because why the fuck don’t i deserve a rest and friends that are for silly or frivolous things??? because who the fuck will be around when i have my inevitable mental breakdown and burnout bc i overwork myself every day of my life??? just my therapist??? wow that’s helpful. when i only see them once a week or a month or even once every few months, bc they’re regularly booked out.

What are the animated works that the young ones, the ten year olds to fifteen year olds want to watch? Doors will surely open if you keep them in mind.
It’s unthinkable that new hope can come out of TV when one episode from a TV series needs 3500 cells to be drawn. On the other hand, in movie theaters as well, there are no films that will mobilize moviegoers other than anime fans. I think that filmmakers have forgotten the basics of selling movies. Collaboration films intended for overseas markets are all the rage, and even though I want the fans who are in Japan to see these films, they can’t and all I’m left with is frustration. Only deterioration can come out of this situation. Actually, there isn’t even one anime today that is aimed at older kids in elementary school to kids in middle-school - the very kids who should be watching anime. (The anime available now) is aimed at younger kids at elementary school and then jumps straight into anime for college kid anime maniacs. It’s a tough time for fifteen year olds who are put aside by society. Twelve year olds to fifteen year olds are the kids who need the most comfort and yet the situation now is that they get their comfort from handheld video games. Those who produce animation are losing sight of their targeted audience. The remaining anime fans are making anime that they want to watch, and this is a symptom (of the present situation) that is beyond redemption. This is why video animation is still backward in terms of its production, and only its format is new.
If one has an earnest approach, children will definitely react. This is a real example - in a run-down middle school, in his morning greeting, a new principal said, “I don’t determine a person’s value by his or her grades or appearance”. Miraculously, all misbehavior was gone from that day’s afternoon onwards. What children want has always had just one theme - an adventure that saves the mind and heart.

Honestly speaking, if anything, I genuinely make animation to match my desires, not thinking that today’s animation is trending towards this way, or future animation should be this way. In other words, I think a great deal about my daily life, figuring out what is lacking and coming up with desires felt by everyone else. I just happen to be a person who creates, so I vent out those accumulated desires and discontent and let them combust in my work.
My works are quite heavy in terms of cycle and tempo, whether it be “Night on the Galactic Railroad” or “Touch”. I sometimes think if this kind of heaviness is ok or not. But that is because I have a desire for this heaviness, and also because I have this easy pleasure within me. Instead of work that is borne out of being hung up just on data, I think work that is borne out of my inner natural desires is more acceptable to people. In the meantime, “Touch” will be shown as an hour and a half movie in the spring so please look forward it.

Movies that make the mind and body come alive are what’s important. As for me, I am trying my hand at my first live action film. I am shooting a documentary.
I think nowadays, the thing that a lot of people working in anime has forgotten is the excitement they felt watching adventure movies when they were kids, the kind of excitement that even your body moved spontaneously. In that sense, I think that works such as Hayao Miyazaki’s films should be brought out to the rest of the world and after (producing his) “Nausicaa”, I am still producing. When kids’ minds are liberated, there’s no reason to think that they won’t spontaneously move. In this day and age dominated by computer games, a lot of kids’ play involve just using the brain and nerves so I’d like them to experience things that energizes the blood and makes the body dance. The difficulty is, I think it’s a difficult time now to have a situation in place wherein you let them experience adventure. If you can’t make people believe in the world portrayed onscreen, you can’t pull viewers into the adventure onscreen.
It’s not that I’m not doing my real job as a producer. I am now producing a live action documentary movie set in Yanagawa in Kyushu. It is about how our Japanese ancestors developed towns which utilized waterways. There is also a part in the movie that has graphic illustrations using anime. It���s less than 2 hours and is slated to be shown after the summer.
MAMORU OSHII (scriptwriter and director of “Angel’s Egg”)

This is a warning!! Please reduce the number of collaboration animes before Japanese animation is annihilated.
If I’m going to be severe about it, I’d say that I want all collaboration animes gone.
Those who work in big studios and places with systems in place may not feel a sense of crisis yet. But in the case of freelance animators like us who work together and put together a workplace and disperse once our anime is done, a part of our actual work is outsourced. Recently however, the small video studios and finishing studios that we outsource to are loaded with collaboration work. Japanese animes can’t compete with collaboration animes in terms of profit so when that happens, we just have to rely on the goodwill of the studio bosses, or make them feel the same way we do with regards to the contents of our work, or by chance see an opening and aim for that, or appease them or plead with them. We can’t work in just that kind of a situation. That’s why it’s almost impossible to make highly compact and solid animes in Japan now. Even without going that far, it’s almost impossible to make even decent animes in the country today. In fact, anime TV series are almost all in shambles, and I can’t even be optimistic about the video quality of the anime we have now. In this kind of situation, I can’t help but seriously think if next year, our ideas can be made into anime.

I haven’t decided yet on what I will make after “Arion”. I will not take part in the new Gundam series.
I am very busy now with screen work for the anime “Arion” which will be shown in theaters on March 8th. But as far as I’m concerned, I’m conscious of the fact that this is my anime for 1985. Therefore, I haven’t decided yet on what my anime will be for 1986. I feel like I want to take a break for a year.
“Arion” is quite restrained for an anime to be shown in movie theaters. I’m happy that this movie is being touted as “the” main animation movie this spring but conversely, it’s a shame that there aren’t a lot of big anime movies for theaters. It’s already been decided that “Arion” is going to be shown in top-class movie theaters throughout Japan. It just shows how much anime has received recognition. I’d like to wait for animes that will pick up on this trend.
With regards to anime TV series, I was in charge of character design for “Z Gundam” this past year but I’ve decided not to be involved at all in the sequel’s new series. I think it’s better to relegate “Gundam” to the younger animators, starting with Hiroyuki Kitazume, who have grown so much in their craft. Now I sincerely think, if only someone as good as Kitazume were around eight years ago to help with “Gundam”, I would’ve been saved…

As a rule, the three things I’d like to see are: “something that isn’t originally from manga”; “robot animation that isn’t dark”; and “in one year, a collaborative anime by Osamu Dezaki and Akio Sugino for release in Japan”. I can watch TV anime while casually lying around but I’d like anime that I wouldn’t be able to take my eyes off of the screen, something that is both easy to watch and amusing. And as written in other magazines before, I’d like to see Mr. Hayao Miyazaki’s version of “Atragon”! (Translator’s note: “Undersea Warship” in Japan)
YUUKI KUDOU (actress and singer)
I’d definitely watch anime that’s fun to watch, anime that will make me happy. At any rate, I’d like a hero on the side of justice who will beat the hell out of the bad guys and put them in a bind.

The new hit TV show Gegege no Kitaro from the fall of 1985 which received top ratings reflects modern times.
This is what I’ve been thinking with the third conversion of Gegege no Kitaro into animation. One is the change in children’s thinking with regards to ghosts/monsters. Of course “Ghostbusters” and “E.T.” have influenced this change, and now kids consider ghosts almost as pets. So in this way I think that if you match the present mood and go in the direction of lighter anime, you’ll be able to create different things from before. Children’s lives are too managed now, so they’d want an outlet to vent too. And in a society that has too many things and where, if you have the money, you can buy anything, things like the Toyoda Company fraud scandal and shady investment journals can also be construed as monstrosities. This anime has this overall theme: In the ideal world of Kitaro, monsters, people, animals, grass and trees should all co-exist so I thought I’d have various new approaches within the anime.
As a new endeavor, our company is going into video anime. It’s called “Amon Saga” and we’re not just going to sell it in video format, (I’m also hoping) we can show it in any movie theater even for just one week otherwise it’ll just be too sad. Especially with regards to original works with names that aren’t well known, I think it’s dangerous to rely on just one production studio. After “Konpora Kid” ends, beginning February, we’re planning on animating “Kinka”, a serialized manga in the weekly magazine Shonen Jump.

Robot animes have vastly decreased in number, so conversely, I think this is a chance for us to come out with epoch-making anime. I’d like to make anime that will allow us to seriously converse with our child viewers.

I can’t necessarily say that the present state of anime is good. But the passion for anime during the anime boom of “Gundam” and the like was an anomaly so I feel that the state of anime now is the real one.
As you may know, not only do we make anime for Japan but we also produce anime for foreign countries. It’s a difficult situation for us now to concentrate on anime just for Japan because of production costs. It can be said that Japanese anime should be improved from the very basic level.
In 1986, we plan to have “Little Nemo” and in the fall, an anime for movie theater release by the duo Desaki and Sugino. At any rate, we’re doing our best.

As you may know, our company has mainly been making masterpiece animes for more than fifteen years but I think we’ve made a habit of making similar anime. But we’ve been able to improve on our animes’ degree of perfection precisely because of the buildup of our experience in animation. We’re also working hard on our technology, and on the authenticity of our masterpieces. At any rate, we’re trying to make anime that is still interesting to watch even after five or six years have passed. Next year, we plan on making “Pollyanna” after “A Little Princess Sara” ends, and a new SF series called “Space Sagittarius”. We’re also going to have one TV special around May.

Even with regards to animating manga, the time when you aren’t creative when adapting something is over - just like our approach to our anime “High School! Kimen”. In manga, the fun is enclosed in a comic cell. Differing from that, we were able to bring out fun that moves freely (in the anime format). (Our decision to) put two episodes in one anime has also been well-received. We are also planning to have an anime TV series next year but all will depend on how long “Captain Tsubasa” will last. Captain Tsubasa’s storyline is that the finals will end in March, and the European leg will begin. This will catch up with the manga version’s storyline so I’m thinking of making a new one or taking a temporary break.

The anime “Sazae-san” is going to be seventeen years old. I think that the things that last for a long time are not manga for boys or manga for girls but manga for adults such as “Sazae-san” that has a family theme. But there aren’t many of this kind of anime today.
There has been a lot of SF space anime but nowadays it’s quite possible for kids to go to space someday. But the world of “Sazae-san” where the grandma, the grandpa, the old maid and the troubles they encounter while living together is farther than space in today’s world of nuclear families. Conversely, this makes Sazae-san’s storyline fresh.
For next year’s anime, we are developing our plans to animate Mr. Shinji Wada’s manga “Pigmalio”. We’d also like to do SF action animes, and a totally new genre - animating Big Comic Spirit’s serialized manga “Oishinbo”. Following a ten-year cycle, monster animes might come out next year but we’d like to try out new genres.

We are developing original videos for the anime “Dancouga”
Our company has concentrated mainly on original anime and we are continuing with this direction in 1986 and beyond. Even though our animes are popular, I don’t know why we are edited a lot. Even “Dancouga” which originally had fifty-two episodes was reduced to thirty-eight and the final story was changed. We are going to sell a one and a half hour video in March and we’d like to include the real final story in it. Seventy percent of animators in Japan today are working on collaboration anime. The pay (for collaboration anime) is more than double, so we have to do something about it.
TOSHIHIRO NAGAO (Kaname Production Co.)
I’d like to see different kinds of SF anime. “Windaria (Once Upon a Time)” is the first step in that direction.
Generally speaking, I’d like to go with polar opposites - simplistic anime that has funny gags and anime that explores heavy themes. I think our company would like to take a short break after “Windaria” ends and then we’re going to do a lighter anime. We’ve also talked little by little about producing an anime TV series, but can we really do it with the present situation? Companies we outsource to are doing a lot of collaboration anime and we don’t have the confidence that we will win the price war and if we dabble in (anime TV series) incorrectly, it will be a death blow. With this situation, it seems like we will be concentrating on video anime for now. With regards to the direction of our anime, we’d like to consider doing SF anime with our own touch and foray into different parts, for example, making modern anime like “Radio City Fantasy (Machikado no Marchen)” that merges footage and music.

Ever since our “Dallos” anime, anime in the video anime genre have increased, and it’s becoming more and more difficult to foresee what’s ahead. But I feel our viewer base will return to children after the continuous increase in anime fans.
In our animes’ genres, it seems that we foray into unprincipled things but through trial and error, we are at that stage where we are aiming for our own style. In 1986, we plan to stop producing transformation-style anime after “Emi” and we are now working on an anime with a witch theme, with a nod to our very first anime. We have also decided that we will make a sequel to “Rumic World”.

If the time comes when the writer can say “that is good but this is also good”, I think that anime will become more vibrant.

It’s important to have interesting anime that will be universally accepted!
I haven’t really watched TV anime these past two years. Once you get rid of a habit, it’s not good. Once you distance yourself from anime, you won’t even be able tell which anime is good and which is bad. It’s scary to think that I’ve been watching anime by force of habit.
I also haven’t watched that many video animes to be fussy about it but I feel that video animes have become closer in form to manga. I can’t say though that it’s already at the serialized manga level, but it’s just a matter of time. But if you’re going to make video anime and you don’t make it differently from TV anime, it will be a waste. Probably change the design a bit…just like what Mr. Oshii is doing. Once your attempts go beyond the realm of attempting things and once you’ve achieved something basic, I think we’d probably be able to see the direction of video anime for the first time. If I were to create video anime, I’d like to make a short sixty minute one, something that is highly concentrated and can’t be fully “digested” in a TV anime format. Sixty minutes is too short for a movie and too long for TV, and I think it is a length that is untapped and put aside.
Compared to video, TV’s strong point is that you can make serialized anime on TV. Nicely put, TV is a medium wherein if you don’t have “ordinariness” (badly put, “mass appeal”) you won’t succeed so in this sense TV is a more demanding form of media than video. I also don’t like the trend wherein anime that don’t appeal to the masses are turned into video anime. I think that video anime should also have universal appeal.
For 1986, if there are proposals that come my way, I’ll do them. I still don’t know exactly what I’m going to do.
TOMOKO KONPARU

With regards to video anime, I have “The Super Girl” and I’d like to try my hand at a new kind of animal anime.
Anime is said to be on a low note right now but I think that the number of anime being produced now is just right because there was a time when the anime that was being produced went over the production capabilities of those in the anime world. I even think that the number should be reduced by just a little bit more, but only if the quality is improved. It seems that 30 animes will be released in 1986, but I think that in terms of quality, (those that aren’t good) will be culled.
I don’t have any children yet but as a housewife I don’t think that anime has a bad influence on children. Since I was little, I myself grew up watching anime. Even now, from the standpoint of someone making anime, I don’t want to forget about the children. But on the other hand, I also think that mothers who just park their kids in front of the TV to watch anime isn’t good either.
The anime following “Hai Step Jun” will be “Maple Town”, an animal anime but I don’t want it to be anime with just “good” characters in it. I want to try making anime for young girls, which will be a new thing for me.

I think that mass media has a very strong influence on children. I want people to be more conscious of that. I feel that anime that is being made today just to make money is overly increasing - animators don’t question things, or assert themselves. An extreme example is the Lolita complex boom of late. If a person is being shown something like (a Lolita anime) from way back (from childhood), that person’s imagination takes precedence instead of the ability to adapt to another human being, and stress builds up as a result. I think we should oppose this current reality, and as for myself, I plan to try different things. I wonder what I’d be able to do before I turn thirty-five, and I also think that you can learn from failure.

The computer is absolutely infiltrating the anime world.
It’s possible to think that in the future, the possibilities of computer graphics will first be used in the industrial fields. For example, the depth maps of the Japan Coast Guard just have numbers on them now but if you input these numbers into a computer, you’ll be able to see valleys (under the sea) that continue for miles as video images. And if this (technology) presses forward, for example, there is an (American) masterpiece special effects movie called “Fantastic Voyage” wherein they (physically) made the sets and then shot the film but in the future, you can make the movie set by inputting data in a computer.
Speaking of another side (of this technology), take the example of video images shown on large screens that have been demonstrated at an expo. Just like what was shown in the expo, video images and 3D images shown on dome-like screens can only be made using a computer.
In this way, the spotlight is now aimed at anime as a means to (showcase technology). Animation’s possibilities will also become limitless as it will need to respond to the diversification of people’s demands.

I researched and compared the recent trends, the trend in fans’ consciousness about anime and anime programs and from around last year, it seems like the age of wanting “salvation” has come. I think that in so many ways, we are being stifled and we are seeking breakthroughs. I think that how anime as a medium is going to lift this issue up is going to be important. Even “Once Upon a Time”, which we will show in 1986, takes up issues of the present times. I’m putting emphasis on what I will say to the youth of today through SF that has stories of people in it instead of just hardcore SF. For this year and the next, I’d like to dig into aspects of the youth in different ways. I’d like to make anime that makes viewers think that there is something out there that matches their present selves perfectly.

I’d like to make a video anime that will be a preview of a movie theater anime
With regards to “Odin: Photon Sailor Starlight”, I didn’t make excuses and I haven’t commented on it but there are clear reasons why that movie ended in failure. That anime was originally a one-hour program, twelve episode TV anime - in other words, it was an anime made to be aired for twelve hours. I think there was a big mistake in the producers’ thinking that they could digest this into a two and a half hour movie.
I used to say that after 1955, there wouldn’t be a hit anime made for movie theaters. The same thing is about to happen in the video anime world. If the overproduction of low-quality anime continues, there will definitely be a backlash. It seems that the most basic idea during planning anime has been forgotten. And this basic idea is this: things expressed through anime must rouse people’s imaginations.
We’re planning on releasing an anime for movie theaters on July 9, 1986 based on “Desler”*. But before that we’re planning on selling a promotion video about the movie in April. In making this video, budgetary issues, which have always been a concern in video animes, have been set aside so I’m planning on making it in the same high-quality as the movie. I’m also thinking of releasing a trailer of the movie at the same time.

Personally, I’d also like Mr. Miyazaki to make ninja anime. With regards to other animators, I like Mr. Mamoru Oshii, the one who made “Beautiful Dreamer.

As you probably have heard in the news, earlier in August a Pennsylvania grand jury handed down a 1,356-page account of sexual abuse which involved around 1,000 kids and 300 priests during a period of approximately 70 years. It is another pedophilia scandal within the Catholic Church that adds up to their collection of countless other ones reported in recent years.
The commie pope—while on his two-day visit to Ireland—begged for forgiveness again, just the way he did in Chile back in January of this year.
You can notice how quick and scathing the mainstream media is to denounce these recurring events, after all we know who owns the MSM and the (real) Church has a long, well-known history of “anti-semitism” and resistance against the tentacles of globalism. I wish the media had the same commitment to inform the existence of other pedophile rings full of high-ranking people as well.
Is the problem of the church’s innumerous sexual abuse allegations really pedophilia? To me there is a deeper explanation for it, and that explanation is: homosexualism. 81% of the alleged victims are male and three-fourths of them are post-pubescent. As you guys are certainly aware of, the Church has a very big issue with homosexualism among its clergymen.
I have a theory for the high presence of gay men inside priesthood: until not long ago being gay was definitely not ok, homosexuals were not accepted as they are now, so they became priests.
The developed Western world of today encourages people to become gay, it applauds individuals for their gayness, but it wasn’t always like that. Now, try to imagine a closeted homosexual man living in the 50s, for example. What a better place to go than the Catholic seminary? People wouldn’t look you down, you wouldn’t have to get married, the place was filled with other young men (potential sexual partners) and that’s how the Church got corrupted by perverts.
Pedophilia x Homosexualism
One normie could argue “how homosexualism relates to pedophilia?” Any red-pilled person who has ever wondered what causes someone to become gay will notice that there is an undeniable link between pedophilia and homosexualism.
Let’s remember the occasion of Milo Yiannopolous’ resignation from Breitbart over comments which seemed to endorse sex between “younger men” and older men. Something that is—as he pointed out—extremely common among gay men. A 2009 report revealed that 74 percent of bisexuals had been sexually abused as children, I am pretty sure homosexuals follow the same numbers.
I won’t say homosexual behavior is exclusively caused by pedophilia because human (or animal) sexuality is a very complex topic which can certainly involve many variables. I just don’t buy that “born this way” hype, until this day not a single reliable proof of the existence of a gay gene or anything like it was discovered.

Pope Francis, a champion of the left-leaning agenda inside the Church, has been accused of covering up former Cardinal McCarrick’s abuse allegations (one of the many cases in Pennsylvania). The accusations were made by Carlo Vigano, a former Vatican ambassador to the US, and if it proves to be true–I am positive it is—that should result in pope Francis’ resignation. As a traditionalist Catholic myself I would be delighted with such an event.
Francis has already been complacent with other pedos before. One good example is the 2015 ‘Synod on the Family’ when the pope invited Godfried Danneels, a Belgium Cardinal convicted of covering up pedophiles in the 90s, to attend the meeting. Danneels is a hard-left priest that tries to push the Church ” liberal reformation” and admitted that he was part of a plot against (right-leaning) Pope Benedict and in favor of the election of leftie Francis.
To affirm that the Church’s gay/pedos are exclusively part of the left-wing priesthood would be too Manichean. I am sure there are tons of sick people who lean right also. But it can’t be denied that the liberals make up the vast majority of these issues involving sexual misconduct.
“Religious progressives”
For those who don’t know, the Catholic Church, just as any other political institution, is divided in factions that tend to be more liberal or orthodox. The liberation theology, for instance, is a movement created inside the Catholic Church (and some Protestant denominations) which aims to mix Christianity and Marxism.
Even if you are an agnostic don’t underestimate the influence they played in various regions such as Europe, Latin America and even New England. Brazilian Workers’ Party attributed their success to this movement and Unions.
Be wary of any religious leader that tries to push a liberalization of dogmas and traditions. Because all religions are intrinsically conservative according to their respective contexts, they establish doctrines that dictate sets of rules that must be followed properly in order to attain their objectives (whether is Salvation in Christianity or Nirvana in Buddhism). There are no (real) religions without their traditions.
Whenever you see liberal religious men doubt their characters. There is a good chance they don’t even bother with religion or spirituality, perhaps they are closeted atheist. What they do care about is the religious platform, which can offer various benefits such as large audiences, political influence, money and even sex.
Estimates of the number of gays in the priesthood are all over the lot, from 20 percent to 60 percent, although a Los Angeles Times poll in 2002 found only 15 percent of priests saying they were homosexual or “somewhere in between but more on the homosexual side.”
Every time pedo priests’ cases pop up in the MSM, secular people are very quick to point fingers and show their moral superiority, but they “forget” the existence of secular institutions that are way more sexually perverted than the “gayish” modern Church, such as Hollywood, the political and corporate world.
Real Church x Sissy Church
It is also important to notice that the Church was emasculated, an emasculation that took place during the process of secularization and establishment of liberal democracies across the Western world (e.g. French Revolution).
The Church had to be softened, becoming an institution that barely resembles the once powerful and great Church of the Crusades or the Inquisitions. This same phenom of emasculation can also happen in other secular institutions too, the Military, mainstream Music, Politics, Sports and even Boys Scouts. And it will only get worse as liberal-democratic globalism advances, so secular people: watch out!
St. Basil the Great, a 4th century bishop and Doctor of the Church, defended that gay/pedo priests should be publicly flogged. That was the (real) Church, not this sissy catholicism created after the Second Vatican Council (a modernist reform imposed in the Church from 1962 to 1965). A lot of things got bad in the 60s.
The (real) Church has a very important and vigorous story in the construction of the West. Always being a target to the globalists and that breed who rules the world, a clear obstacle to their goals.
Examples are many: Gabriel García Moreno, Catholic Equatorian president, who made a terrific job in a Confessional Equator and was killed by the Freemasons; Saint José Sanchez del Rio, who was killed by Mexican secular, freemason and leftist government with the support of the US, for refusing to abbandon his faith.
Inconvenient truths are ignored
The media only goes after what is convenient to their narrative, don’t expect them to expose Hollywood pedos nor the obvious link between pedo priests and homosexualism. The left has already pushed the normalization of pedophilia many times and I didn’t see the indignation of the MSM.

Church authorities are not legitimate
It is a dogma of the Catholic faith that the Church cannot substantially change. This means that the church cannot contradict nor change her teaching from what has always been universally taught or has been solemnly defined. Any one who claims to be Catholic and knowingly professes a faith which contradicts a teaching of the Church is considered to be a heretic and is considered to have a removed himself from the Church.
As St. Thomas states: “[one] who disbelieves [even] one article of faith does not have faith, either formed or unformed.” This is known as the unity of faith which means that all Catholics profess the same faith. Likewise it means that heretics cannot hold a clerical office in the Church. Thus if a heretic were to be elected even to the Papacy they could not be considered a legitimate Pontiff because a heretic has separated himself from the Church (source).
Would a real Pope bow to a religion declared false by the Church?
Simply put, you have to be Catholic to be Pope, and the absurdity of a heretic claiming the See of Peter is where we find ourselves today. For just as the institutions in the West have been infiltrated and seized by the enemy, likewise have the institutions of the Church been usurped by apostate forces. The hierarchy currently residing in the Vatican are not legitimate authorities and do not represent the perennial teaching of the Church. Therefore I have listed for your benefit the actual Church’s positions on some current areas of contention.

On Communism
The Catholic Church is vehemently opposed to communism. Without Pius XII valiant efforts, communism would have prevailed over postwar France and Italy. The Pope went so far as to issue the Decree against Communism in 1949 which excommunicated any Christian who professed communist doctrine.
Catholicism is the enemy of Marxism as it teaches that there can be no separation of Church and state, and an atheist government is immoral. Catholicism believes private property is a natural right going so far to say that depriving workers of their wages is a sin which cries to heaven for vengeance (compare that to our socialist tax code!).
On Migration and Culture
The current Muslim invasion of Europe would be met with the utmost resistance. It has always been the Church which has sought to safeguard Catholic Culture and in ages past has gone so far as to issue a call to arms against non-Catholics who have sought to destroy it.
Pope Urban II issued the Crusades and Pope Leo the great even went so far as to personally travel into the heart of the Hun army—to Attila himself—to deliver Rome from the sack that was to come. In 1571, St. Pope Pius V formed the Holy League that would go on to defeat the great Muslim Turkish Armada that was plaguing the Mediterranean.

On Abortion and Contraception
So what is the real teaching of the Church in regards to abortion and contraception? The teaching is any member who has an abortion or supports abortion is automatically excommunicated from the Church. That’s right: every single Democrat who claims to be Catholic is actually excommunicated, including Nancy Pelosi who likes to sanctimoniously drone how she is a good Catholic grandmother.
Contraception is also considered a mortal sin because it is an unnatural stoppage of life.
“Hence, after the sin of homicide whereby a human life already in existence is destroyed, this type of sin appears to take next place, for by it the generation of human nature is impeded.” -St. Thomas Aquinas.
I know this is unpopular with the readers, but the teaching is that those who engage in contraception have already committed murder in their heart. Contraception is what allows people to engage in recreational sex, because the natural end of sex has been set aside so too then has the institution of marriage, whose end is children.
Likewise, because we have committed murder in our hearts, we have become a petulant, immature, vain, and a sterile people similar to any other people who have taken the risk from reward or the consequences from pleasure. This is the most difficult pill to swallow.
On Feminism
The Church condemns feminism in the strongest terms. There cannot exist feminism without birth control.

Paw and Order by Diane Kelly
I should probably begin this review the standard "I am not the target audience" because I am not.
A factual inaccuracy that bothered me toward the beginning of the book was when the criminal, a 21-year-old woman (this book was released in 2015, when I was 20) is reminiscing on her childhood when she was looking at another girl's American Girl dolls and being jealous of them. The thing was though, that I was obsessed with American Girl for a while and this author just didn't do her research, because one of the dolls she mentioned was released in 2007 (which was when I, personally, started obsessing over new things), another in 2009, and one that was released in 2012, when the character in question would've been finishing high school. A few pages after this, it mentions Texas having laws keeping gay marriage illegal, keeping this book set right when it was written, because gay marriage was legalized the same year this book was published, keeping the characters at the ages they were not in the modern day and able to grow, but kept in 2015, making the character who stole an American Girl doll not a child like the book describes, but a very weird high schooler. Normally, I'm not a nit-picker, but these two details were about 5 pages from each other and made the rest of the book kind of weird.
Overall, the story was ok. The characters felt a bit flat, predictable, and boring. The plot itself was interesting. And I enjoyed the chapter focused on Brigit. They didn't add a lot to the overall narrative, but were entertaining.

I spent a lot of time thinking about and writing about my favorite Taylor Swift albums of all time and ranking them. It was a lot of work but I’d love to see other fans rankings and read why. Here’s mine:

So now that folklore has been out awhile, I’ve listened to it, memorized it, loved it. I’ve been reminiscing on old albums now, as you do. My album ranking opinion is probably a super unpopular one in the t-swift fandom that I follow but, I’m a different kind of swiftie I suppose. So I’ll try to further explain my opinions on these albums.
Starting from the bottom,
1989: this is last for me but in no way means it’s a bad album, I mean something has to be last but this one just was not my wildest dream lol. It started off with the release of shake it off before the rest of the album and this was the beginning of Taylor releasing my least favorite song first on quite a few albums (followed by LWYMMD and YNTCD, but we’ll get to those later) I love, love,love blank space and it was a huge bop for a long time after I first heard it. Prob the only thing that made me even want to listen to the rest of the album. Because, as you can see red didn’t fall very high on my list so to follow it up with just shake it off made me kind of feel like, am I over t Swift? 😯 shocking, I know. I was a senior in college when this was released, blank space was played loudly at a few house parties and I loved that everyone loved it too, not just me; a long time lover of swift. It always feels like an I told you so moment when people who aren’t swifties like one of her songs. I never bought this album, and didn’t have Apple Music at the time so I feel like I never really gave it the time and appreciation it deserved. Almost every song on it became a single and I did like a lot of them. The first time I heard New Romantics was when my sister was playing the deluxe cd in her car and I was like, what is this? I loved that song. I think I then looked into the album more and listened to the rest. It was ok, I liked clean because I was going through a breakup. I liked how you get the girl, I thought it was creative and also kind of related to my break up. Out of the woods was too repetitive for me, the rest of the songs were played on the radio so much that they just became overplayed and annoying to me. So yeah, although this was her most successful album by far, I think it was just too mainstream, over played and not for me! But still good overall, you know, because, it’s Taylor Swift.
Lover: it was hard for me to put this this low, because again, not a bad album. It started off by Releasing YNTCD and Me! Before the rest of the album and again I was just like meh... but I knew better in my career as a swiftie that these two singles meant nothing for what the rest of album would be. I really like a lot of the songs on this album, London boy, daylight, false god, cruel summer, the man..all really good! But just nothing that went down as a favorite swift song of all time. I love the aesthetic of this album, probably one of my faves. I love that it’s about love, it came out last year, right when I bought a house with my lover, and I listened to it many hours while painting our walls before we moved in. I feel like Taylor and I have gone through it all together, and lover was the epitome of where my relationship was with my fiancé, just like her and joe 💕 we made it through all the heartbreaks and this was the purple pink sky at the end of the tunnel! But still, she has made way better music IMO.
Red: This is the swift album that everyone thinks got snubbed by the Grammy’s. Most swifties would scoff at this ranking as well. But..again not a bad album, this album has some of her BEST songs/lyrics. But..also it has, and it hurts me to say this, some of her worst as well. Red is good, but if we’re taking albums as a WHOLE, that you can listen too without any skips, this is not that one for me. This album does have some of my favorite of all time songs: all too well(give me the 8 minute version,damnit), red, state of grace, treacherous. But then it also has..stay,stay,stay which I really think is just like, so corny and fake, you can tell it’s not about her life, it’s like a little country twangy but still like bubble gum pop. It just rubs me the wrong way and gets a skip when listening. This album was a huge turning point in her country to pop timeline and it has a good mix of her pop bops along with her pretty little guitar poetry. The pop singles on this album were not my fave. 22 is fun, I was 20-21 when this came out and everyone was jamming 22 on their 22nd b-days. IKYWT got sooo overplayed and annoying. Same with WANEEGBT. I love my t-swift deep cut, sad songs but some of these were just trying too hard at that, like sad beautiful tragic and the moment I knew. They were just tooo dramatic for me. But idk, maybe it’s just because I wasn’t going through heartbreak when this came out, I was about 3 years into a 6 year relationship so heartbreak hadn’t been relatable for awhile and wasn’t going to be for awhile longer. I loved the duets with Ed and Gary, so glad we got that again on folklore! I also think that this album appeals way more to a younger audience. I think I grew up a little by 2012 compared to when I was crying over boys listening to the first albums, not just in a sense of heartbreak but also like just the parts of red that are a little corny to me. I think she was still aiming for the young teeny bopper pop and I was kind of growing out of that stage in music, broadening my horizons if you will. I started listening to swift when I was like 15. I think I just was a little ahead of the target generation that this album was made for: But I still just wasn’t done with her or this album due to the minor cheesy parts. Because then she puts shit on there like the fucking bridge of all too well and I’m like ok she is still the greatest writer of all time. This was a long explanation for red, but I have so many feelings about it. And also, yeah.. it didn’t deserve a Grammy, all things considered. All too well could have had one for song of the year, but whatever.
Speak Now: this was a good album, I think it was very similar to fearless but not quite as iconic. fearless has kept its high rank over the years so because this was so similar, I can’t put it too low. It was exactly what I wanted after fearless, also I think it kind of explains too why red was a bit of a let down..it was a huge change from fearless and speak now. I guess I’m just slow to adapt to change? But anyways speak now has some of the best deep cuts, dear john, last kiss both so beautifully written. Real, raw. We all knew who they were about and the drama of these relationships was exciting because these were the days that’d we’d all hear stuff about who she was dating but never get the full story. then later hear about it in her albums..it was nice to get that kind of honesty from a celebrity, made us feel like we really knew her. Sparks fly is up there as favorite song of all time. Mean was such a clap back to her critics and had the country vibe and twang from her first album. Also, this album had songs about John Mayer, joe Jonas, Taylor lautner..and Kanye west? All huge names at the time. I have to admit, the Kanye west innocent song was a huggeee let down at the time. I know this bitch had worse thing to say than “you’re still an innocent” but..she was very deep into playing her nice girl role at the time. So thank god there was a rep era later on down the road! I was a freshman in college when this came out. Living in dorm rooms, listening to music on my laptop late at night with the lights out.
Taylor Swift: this is up there, because it just has to be. This is where it all started. Listening to country radio, hearing Tim McGraw for the first time. I myself being a huge Tim McGraw fan thinking, I hope someone does think of me when they think of Tim McGraw lol. And then, just on a whim somehow, looking up other songs by her..just to see. Now in 2006, looking up songs by an artist wasn’t as easy a task as it is now. I illegally downloaded music on limewire still at this point. And would then burn it to cds. And would later get my first iPod and transfer everything to that, because who wants to pay a dollar per song on iTunes? I’m sorry Taylor, but Not my mother. So, being 14-15, I had to find my own ways. Stay beautiful, our song, cold as you, picture to burn, should’ve said no..these songs were the words I was looking for in high school, going through teenage love and heart ache. Feeling the exact same way as her and wanting to just write these words on a paper and fucking send it to all these boys who made me sad. Wanting to be a famous singer just so these people could see how I feel and how they ruined everything. Pretending that Mary’s song was the story of my lover and I in an imaginary world. Like, for real. This album did something to me, because of this album no matter what happens in this life, if Taylor puts out music, I’m going to listen to it..just to see.
Reputation: this album was a huge turning point for her. And for me, as her fan. It was after 1989, so I wasn’t like, obsessively waiting to see what would be next. The whole cancel tswift thing happened and I heard about it, but it wasn’t like a huge deal. I was on her side, she didn’t do anything wrong and people were so quick to jump down her throat. but musically after 1989, I was not a hardcore swiftie, I still hadn’t adapted to the all pop era. I needed my Taylor swift on a guitar, pouring her heart out in her lyrics. And then, this happened and it was, for me, way better pop than anything on 1989 or red, by far. I was back to my obsessive swiftie ways, but in a whole new way. Every song on the album was a jam, she was speaking her mind, finally saying wayy more about kanye (and kim, ugh) than what we got on speak now.(ironic, because to me this album is when she really started to speak and didn’t play the nice girl anymore) not only that but, this was a love album and I related to it in so many ways. I was finally out of that 6 year relationship, and had a bit of a “reputation” (not really, but some bridges were burned and people talk a lot about things they no nothing about when you end something that lasted 6 years) and I had met someone new. I related to every love song on this album so much and it meant so much because, like Taylor, after all the bullshit that happened, finding the right person is everything. She had never been more relatable. I feel like her pop music finally grew up enough for me. She was doing pop in a new way and I was here for it.
Fearless: this one has stood the test of time. A classic. No skip album. Country, but her first intro to pop crossover with love story, but unlike a lot of her early pop hits, love story didn’t get old and overplayed for me. It’s not like my favorite song now, but when it blew up, I was about it. Beautiful writing on this whole album. It was the first album I bought. The physical cd. It came out when I was just learning to drive. Driving on my own and blasting this album singing at the top of my lungs along with it with no one to tell me to turn it down or change the song solidified the love story I had with fearless. Blasting you’re not sorry over and over again, (a top 5 song of all time) it made me want to learn to play piano (I didn’t). White horse playing on grays anatomy (my fave show at the time). Listening to fifteen at age 16 for the first time thinking, yes this is so true and I’m so much older and wiser now 🤣 . I was a colbie caillat fan before I knew who Taylor was. Hey Stephen was cute AF. Wished that I had the courage to say things like that to my crushes. Forever and always after my first breakup. It just hit so hard. I can always go back to this album, and have, over the years. My first tswift concert with my only other friend that liked her. It was before any of the drama that came out in the news about her. It’s when She started to blow up in popularity, I’d start to religiously follow things she was doing, interviews, videos on tour, and fell in love with her personality. This girl was talented and hilarious and pretty and smart. I wanted to be her so bad.
Folklore: although it’s still new and fresh, I really think it’s the best yet. For me it’s Taylor swift come full circle. It has the writing, some of her best lyrics yet. It has the age and wisdom that we have watched her gracefully acquire over the years. It’s not pop but it still has the catchy tunes that get stuck in your head, but in a quieter, simpler way. It takes loads more talent to get these songs on the charts than it did with her tried and true formula that she has used in the past for a pop song. She perfected that art, but this is a new level now. It’s not trying too hard, it’s honest. It’s still about love and how far she (and I 😭) have come in that journey. Yet it still has the heartbreak, teenage angst that only she can describe so beautifully. Cardigan might be best of all time. Betty takes me back to something on fearless. Mirror ball and August are light, airy, upbeat and just unique. TLGAD is her storytelling at its finest, yet also a quick fuck you to those who think she’s “ruined” anything. She had a marvelous time. It’s also that personal level, we’ve seen the photos of her and all her friends at this house and it just makes you feel like you’ve been there or something. Exile takes me back to red and I love this duet so much. Invisible string is so.well.written. The concept, so beautiful. The story of her and joe. Details we’ve never heard before. The lakes really ties it all together for me. It’s everything. We’re all isolated right now, but this song speaks to me so much. I’m not a big social media person, I like the simple things in life. I like to read, to write, my circle of friends is dwindling as we all get older and that’s ok because I have the love of my life and that’s all I need. It also speaks to how isolated I feel as a t swift fan, not that there is any shortage of swifties out there, but all the people I am close with are not fans of hers. And that’s fine, we have different tastes in music, whatever. But to me the best thing about Taylor has always been her writing, her poetry. I like the sad sappy songs, I want the auroras and sad prose (I also love the concept of not moving for years) this song has it all, even another subtle fuck you to her critics again. Who are you to tell her what her words are worth? They are better than any other artists’ out there. So many other dumb ass musicians out there that don’t even write any of their music who want to say Taylor isn’t “that great”. To me her words are everything. Folklore is everything. And it’s all hers! That’s huge. I feel like with her owning more of her shit now she can also be free to do whatever the fuck she wants. There’s no pressure for a tour on this album, (fucking covid 🙄) which may have influenced how she wrote it..no fancy dance numbers needed here. Without a big record label down her throat too she may have had more freedom, maybe to not have a hit single (although she still does) there’s no super mainstream straight pop BOP like every other album has had. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her and her music. Oh and you want to talk about Grammys? GIVE IT TO FOLKLORE.

Unpaid Intern
Watch, as eagle mistakes abandoned diaper for baby dall sheep carcass on video. Giggle, divided into thirds. Watch in a room that smells of must-see. An unrelaxed giggle, a well-placed giggle. Giggle for two.
Template: Eerie Light — an unrelaxed dreamer. Broken-hearted moobs, real under a giggle. Real and rancid as a crushed Peep between mattress and wall. Memories of a crushed Peep en route. Unglanced moobs of a dreamer. SNAFU of crushed Peep. Mold untold, heartpinged violence for an air-bulged dreamer. Thin sneeze of a repressed dreamer, pining for an evil attitude. FUBAR of indolence. Stare into a SNAFU and sprint at a reckoning.
The moobs are prepared for the group. The giggle is prepared for the moobs. Watching a story of the body.
The giggle is released.
On what the past several years of drifting have taught me. Fear can take up a lot of time, drifting has no built-in revelations. My unpaid internship. A long pause for no revelations. I would not want to watch a horror movie where the protagonist is already enlightened and so does not care if they live or die. No reason for an audience to follow along. But, good for the protagonist, that is a very mature mindset. When it comes the gore will feel very peaceful. As a young child walking with her mother says “hi” to me on the sidewalk and she walks by. I smile involuntarily and say “hello” back. The progression of knife-picked thoughts is, under this sudden sweetness, compressed and stowed. The child has ordered me to engage with the surroundings and respond and smile. I continue to walk home and for four of those five minutes continue to feel this way, reeling with the pleasant surprise. Shivering with the undreamt-of giggle.
Under such conditions did I find myself thinking of Rob somewhat rapidly as I turned the block of my apartment building; it felt like a moment to agitate some details. He was a hedonist of indeterminate sexuality and indeterminate politics. He had multiple young friends who were fond of wearing very specific t-shirts. He worked as an unpaid intern for a company with an indeterminate name, maybe, Personal Options? He had trouble explaining the tasks of this unpaid internship. He arrived at a term he made up that one notices him to believe is professional enough: Visual Indexer. He would say this in a way that communicated an unforeseen weakness to one day appear to others as “professional.” Beyond this tragic motive, there was no indication anywhere else that entering a realm of prepared hierarchies and the collection of strangers’ respect was at all an interest. He had the impulsive life pus flooding a young person who has that corrective obsession with the massacre of all infectious traditional boundaries. Often this had taken the form of the most cheerful defenestration. As if Rob and his friends regularly made the plan to collect any abandoned objects in the neighborhood of a certain base weight on their way back to our apartment complex and, come drink time, freely pirouette-launch the janky wares from the balcony.
The neighbors did not seem to care, how could I not be jealous, I was one pathetic moan too old to feel that form of relief. I touched the extreme upper bridge of my nose which was sore from having accidentally planted it at high speed on the top edge of my slightly angled-in laptop when reaching beyond it to grab a 4 x 6 photo of myself from my late teens. I thought it a good sign that I was so unconsciously prepared to pummel my face — could it mean that, when that liberating moment finally trembled my way, I would have 100% lack of regret in the irreversible ripening of my useless young flesh? I could only hope so. I could also only hope it was as irreversible a procedure as I had imagined it, I often needed to remind myself that I had absolutely no understanding of science. Indeed Rob’s friend Q.C. had once worn a black t-shirt with a graphic of a beretta on it and underneath it the writing, “ONE SIZE FITS ALL.” I could not know the tone with which he wore it. Rob was a Visual Indexer, I did find the term interesting. The 4 x 6 print of myself was one of many laying on my water-stained table. Portraits of myself at various ages, alone, printed at a very popular national pharmacy that also sold algae-encrusted vegan turmeric chips and had wine tastings every Friday from 5-7. Portraits at 16, 23, 25, 19, 26, 19, 21, I had the idea to tape them on my wall, sit against them with my eyes closed, and take photos of myself, to try to trace a timeline. I would close my eyes to perform that I was feeling deeply. In this photo of myself at 16, I had just a few questions about what is possible. In this photo of myself at 23, I am apparently cross-eyed. In this photo of myself at 19, a noticeable uptick in moobs.
One of Rob’s friends, Bianca (who once, in my presence, and against the seeming silent contract between Rob and his other friends, asked him how he had enough money to live alone when he didn’t make any money at his internship and had no other job, and to which Rob did not even try to respond but only left the room mimicking an animatronic Halloween decoration witch laugh) had told a story of her teen years where, emboldened by some older users in a chatroom she compulsively frequented, used to scream non-white racial slurs at white people shopping at Target and Kohl’s and yell “dyke” and “faggot” at hetero couples holding hands in the street. Though she told these anecdotes in a withdrawn and ashamed performance, she must have recognized how they might impress her group of friends who could only laugh at the altogether untraditional, societally unacceptable and, bottom line wacky behavior of their friend, who now seemed to be a reverent, committed radical anarchist that, when waiters weren’t looking, ate leftover food from plates less committed people abandoned at various restaurants. How would I ever save enough money to look peerless and decrepit? In this photo of myself at 21, a genuine smile, so wild it would seem I am kidding.
With some cheap make-up also bought at the pharmacy that had wine tastings, I had begun to stealthily repair my thriving fat eyebrows with highlights of white, probably only noticeable to me but done in the hopes that the powerful undertone would inch towards a different reception of my face when it was in conversation. “Nice to meet you” the young video director had said to the middle-aged CEO, they shook hands and the CEO said, “it’s nice to be met.” Upon being introduced to Bianca one afternoon — despite my control system being against the idea of leaving my eremitic pouch, increasingly I found myself accepting invitations to Rob’s apartment — I had carefully prepared these brows blanched in the white of the faintest melting snowflake and so felt just a smidge-stain more futurist and directed. Just one look at my altered face and people could conclude, “there is nothing different” though I hoped for, “there is nothing different?” Bianca had looked at my face, I assumed she had never seen it before, we shook hands and her grip was severe. Her face smiled. Perhaps one of these elements was meant as a distraction from the other. There was no comment from Bianca or even lingering-and-falling eye pointed towards my one-sixty-forth-assed aging attempt. Though he was not there that day, I surprised myself by pulling up badly remembered thoughts of Q.C., as Bianca and Rob discussed the new urban development of a neighborhood that was a couple miles away. I thought I had remembered the shape of his face and at least the shade of brown in his eyes. But inevitably, my attempts to display a likeness in my mind were shaved down, and major facial characteristics uncontrollably replaced with the swiftly recalled appearance of a now-grown-and-unsuccessful child star I never had the option not to know or recognize. I thought, ‘the more I see of Q.C. the more I will be able to remember of him when I am alone.’ Such projects brought their own gore, pah, the gore of worry, the worry I will be derailed. It wasn’t my place to let myself get in the way of my own revenge. The most grotesque escape. This is the strategy, sadness reappears as logistics.
I was not here to re-engage the viability of my young-ish body for the scarfing of others, I was here to become a vibe-threatening vision of near-death for the rest of my burgeoning life and also I was here to watch the yearly romantic elder comedy starring actresses and actors such as Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson. I was just bent by the way his shoulders filled out the black t-shirt with a beretta on the front, when glanced at with his face turned away. There is no choice but to notice. “A new condo with several stories is being built just down the block from where I am taking improv classes,” Bianca tells us. “And next to it I think there’s going to be some big retail store with a giant parking lot.” “Ok,” Rob suggests, “let’s just say ‘that’s fucked up’ and continue.”

Plain White T’s. Listen to me, I know they are not good and I know if we never heard Hey There Delilah live again we would all die happy but they are my boys, they have been my boys for 16 years, and I will always stand by them. They have never been anything less than great to me over those 16 years and I would take a bullet for each of them.
4: name a great band you recently discovered
I wanna say Creeper, whom I love, but there are also two bands who’ve been around a while I’m finally realizing how great they are/were - The Arkells and the Tragically Hip.
5: which rare recording of any band would you like to possess?
The Stranger Ways 7″ by Anberlin. It’s the ONLY THING I need to have a 100% complete Anberlin discography and it was only released as a bonus item for people who bought VIP on the Australian leg of their final tour and it HAUNTS ME. I fucking... need it. There’s been one for sale on discogs for a while but it’s like $200 and I cannot but eventually I’m gonna cave.
6: is there an artist whose solo career you prefer over their work with their band(s)?
I... can’t think of one? I love Glen Hansard solo more than I have ever been able to get into The Frames but The Swell Season is just... still... so good.
7: which is you favourite side project by any band member?
I probably have to be basic as hell and just say Blaqk Audio.
8: which song do you think should everybody listen to at least once in their lives?
Mourning Ritual - Bad Moon Rising (with my mans Peter Dreimanis of July Talk singing lead. It’s such a good cover. I love it so much.)
9: explain why your favourite song is your favourite song
I actually don’t know if I have just one favourite song but I guess Falling Slowly qualifies and I just... think it’s gorgeous? I just really love the line “You have suffered enough and warred with yourself, it’s time that you won.”

Milk Teeth would be the most recent, but also that’s how I got into Plain White T’s and it was from seeing them that I got into Lucky Boys Confusion and The Rocket Summer, so.

I actually have a wildly different musical taste than most of my friends but I blame @sinceubeenjon for the 5SOS thing. Also 1D a little. And I got into Creeper because of a friend.

The 1D fandom on this hellsite for some reason cannot appreciate the fact that Diana was the best song they ever had and I will not stand for it.

Ok so I feel like, for the sake of my followers (and my own sanity) I should state my stance on the whole sha//lidin thing. I don’t like to get into discourse and I’m not really looking for a discussion, I’m just putting my opinion on my blog so it’s known.
Simply put, I’m against it. I’m pretty convinced that it’s confirmed that Pidge is 14/15; Hunk, Lance & Keith are about 17 or 18; and Shiro is around 25. And frankly I think most of the arguments saying otherwise are grasping at straws.
Pidge can easily be 14. She’s essentially a genius and hacked her way into the Garrison. This means she could have put whatever age she wanted on there. The argument that she looks too much like her brother? Trust me, humans are great at not noticing things right in front of them. They might think ‘oh, they look similar’ but it wouldn’t go past there.
Shiro being something like 25 makes sense in his position as the sole pilot for a mission out. I’d take young, newly graduated, maybe 22 ish, because it was probably supposed to be a simple trip out to gather data (there was only 3 people on the crew, it wasn’t going to be complicated). He also just isn’t designed to look like a teenager at all. He looks like an adult. And that’s normally a very specific choice in the character design.
The fact that the website or whatever says “five unsuspecting teenagers” or something means nothing, honestly. It’s easier to say that “a 4 teenagers and an adult” and they can’t not include Shiro because he’s a major character. I also imagine that they’re trying to keep ages on the downlow until they officially confirm each one, so they’re not really going to hint at it. Anyway, it’s just marketing, which doesn’t always reflect the actual content very well.
And lastly for the argument that they’re all over 19 or 20+, I think you’re forgetting that the entire show is aimed at younger kids and teens, and the main characters are nearly always within a similar age group as the target audience. It’s not that unbelievable to have a specialised school for the last 2 senior years of high school, we have them here. But also; it’s a tv show? It doesn’t need to make perfect sense? there will be plot holes or allowances for creative license just because that’s the setting they want. Don’t overthink it.
So, since that’s my argument on the ages at least, I’ll come back to sha//ladin. I won’t go so far to call it pedophilia, though if Shiro is 25 or wtv and the paladins are under 18, it’s illegal at least where I’m from. But more specifically, I think it’s hugely unhealthy and a bad thing to encourage. The power imbalance between even an 18 yr old and, say, 24 yr old, is much larger than people seem to think. And even if the 24yr old is a ‘good person’ or wtv, it still doesn’t change that at the core, it’s imbalanced and unhealthy. And I am speaking from both someone who dated a much older person when they were 17, AND as someone who is now 26 and blanches at the thought of doing anything with anyone under like 21... or even 22.... like.... the difference in both maturity and life experience at those ages is huge because they’re core developmental periods.
Anyway. Like I said, I’m not looking to get into discussions or arguments about this. I don’t care if you follow me or wtv. But sha//ladin ships stress me tf out so I don’t support them and I don’t want to talk about them or hear about them.
That’s my stance, because I felt like it needed to be said. Take it or leave it. You won’t change my mind. And if you think I’m judging you, I probably am.

AX3002: Animation Production and Professional Awareness (January-February)
21/01-25/01
At the beginning of this semester, all of us showed the process that we have done during this Christmas vacation. We also had feedback about something that we did last semester.
I need to finish the practical project this semester, but there are lots of deficiencies in my animatic. There are some feedbacks from this Thursday.
Firstly, my main character- the stone, I need to set a target for him. Why he wants to travel? He needs motivation. So, this is should be presented at the start of the film. Secondly, turning to a smooth stone is a long term process, but in my animatic, I haven’t shown it in the correct way. The background needs to change. Thirdly, probably I can do some changes to my animation’s style. Don’t do everything in Maya, combining 2D environments with 3D characters together. It can save much time. Fourthly, I should think more about my camera movement, because I had some same shots in my animatic, it must be boring for the audience.
Actually, I also want to do a little change to my main character, he is the hero in this film. he needs more emotion and expression.
According to Pete’s advice, I also need to do some researches on a short film, which is called ‘the monk and the fish’(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2u96bMm0Os https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jrz4AAq-izA) I am not sure if it is called the brush line animation. it is quite simple but cute. There are also not too many colors, but it presents what we have and where is the character. This might be one method that I choose to design my environment.
And there is not only the film that I need to finish this semester. I need a plan because there are much more works to do. The action plan, the CV, essay, poster and the art of the film. So, I will talk about the changes in my film with Pete, Mario or Mark, decide what should I do next and draw up a detailed plan until the final deadline next week.
28/01-01/02
Tuesday: About the motivation that why the stone wants to be more smooth. I think he has to see something which attracts his eyes. The following picture is a draft of camera movement.
I want to show that the stone that lives on the wall which is surrounding a house sees an amber through the window. He thinks it is beautiful, and he is upset because he is dirty and full of moss. And the camera zooms in and shows the stone’s dirty body. He thinks if he becomes shining, he will be proud of himself. So he tries to escape from the wall. After he falls down from the wall, he gathers some small stones to be his arms and legs.
PETE said that there could be a person who put the amber on the desk so it can make everything seem logical.
About the way of how to present the time goes by, I think I can show it by turning the forest into a small village and then turning into a modern city.
PETE said maybe I can show the forest and the stone together, or let the camera moves between the forest and the stone.
Thursday: Because I haven’t decided which parts will be drawn, so I keep modeling until the answer is out. I try to practice the rigging, painting the skin weight in Maya, it brings a lot of problems to me. The percentage of one joint should occupy on the skin is hard to control.
So I need to find more reference and data and try more times.
So I restart rigging, this time the legs can move better but I haven’t solved the problems with the arms.
And about my main character- the stone, I show two kinds of stone to Mark, the left one’s eyes and mouth are separating from the body.
I think it may be more difficult to rigging. But Mark’s feedback is that the eyes and the mouth are more like having been made by people, it is not natural at all. So I need to redesign the stone. And Mark gave me some advice about some stones with natural faces.

It provides a good example because maybe I can use the irregular bumps on the stone to be its feature. Also, Mark’ s feedback includes a movie called GALAXY QUEST. There is also a good example of a stone monster.

It is a monster that is bigger than human and it is comprised of many stones, so it is not as same as the stone in my film. But it is a good example of a stone monster.
On the way of how to show the time passage, my idea is to show the changes from a large forest to a small village and then to a city. Also, there is some research on different ways to show this change.

These two methods also tell the time passage by the change of the environment. But one is about the natural environment, and another one is about the human building. I prefer to choose the natural environment.
There is feedback from Mark, it is about the different shots of how this stone rolls in the river. It should be more fun with more different angles. And also, there is something have been changed about the script. Such as maybe I will insert a waterfall in my script.
About the script update, maybe the appearance of the factory breaks the balance in my film. Maybe it can be better than everything is natural without man-made. So my idea is to change the factory to a pipe, and then the pipe inhales the stone. The stone rolls in the pipe and then is transported to a beach.
Setting sun a shadow of the child picks the stone. one night passes The stone appears in a beautiful garden. The light let it look more shining.
So I will keep drawing the new animatic and redesign the character this week.
Saturday: animatic update
In order to make sure that there are no other big problems with doing the formal film. I need to redraw some shots in the animatic.
In some scenes, it is a little hard to draw the correct perspective angle. So I only provide rough positions. After the animatic is all right, I will find reference pictures when I start to draw the final environment design.
I have different ideas about some shots, so I need to talk about these next week. And if I need more details and sound in this new animatic, I will finish it before the first milestone.
04/02-08/02
Monday: main character- stone redesign
In order to show a natural stone, the eyes, and the mouth are redesigned by some irregular shapes. So I will show it to Pete or Mark tomorrow, if it is OK, I will model it this week. I got this idea from this picture.
I like this style rather than that stones which have three shallow holes on it. Because this kind of rock is more shape. The stones with three shallow holes are usually smooth. I think they have been washed for a long time. So I like this shape nose and eyes.
So, this is the process of rebuilding the stone model, but I am not sure how to arrange the line. I need to rebuild again.
Tuesday: FEEDBACK OF ANIMATIC FROM MARIO
There are shots that can be presented in a better method.
1. After the stone falls down to the ground, changing the camera to look down shot until the stone walks into the grass.
2. Show the stone and the time passage in one scene, after the time passes, the stone will be hit and drop to the bottom of the waterfall
3.cancel the zoom in when the eagle is catching the stone
4. Walking out of the grass by the stone’s view. And then using the shot that as the same height as the stone.
5. Simplify the pipes underground and keep the city building when the stone is crossing the city.
6. When the light hits the stone's eyes, the stone needs to show the feeling of being unable to open its eyes. And the effect of light doesn’t look like light.
Also, after this shot, there is a shot that needs to show the shining amber. Don’t need to zoom in, just show the amber directly after cutting the shot before.
When the camera comes back to the stone, show more expressions that should be aiming to show he likes to be more beautiful and smooth.

Thursday: FEEDBACK OF ANIMATIC FROM MARK
We discussed a lot of things that need to be changed. The most common problem throughout the animatic is that the shot doesn't show what I need to express myself. Will make the audience feel very confused. At the same time, a lot of camera shots in my film are not necessary, which cause a lot of waste. In some scenes there is also a lot of space, making the picture very empty. According to Mark, when making the whole animation, not only the direct connection of the lens should be considered, but also the audience should be able to understand the meaning of the picture. Therefore, most of the modifications were made on the lens structure. Through the adjustment of the angle, as far as possible to reduce the inharmonious elements in the picture. From the beginning of the film to the plot of falling stones, have been greatly modified. The rest of the plot, scene, and perspective have been modified. Because the formal scene and character production have not yet started, so the modification is relatively rough. Before next week's milestone was originally planned to start the final design of the characters and scenes after completing the animatic. But the animatic modification took a long time. After the feedback of the new animatic next week, there must still be some changes to be made, but it needs to be carried out together with the character and environment design.

Tuesday: I start to think about the character re-modeling and the environment design. It is not easy to model an object that I can’t find around myself. So, I need many references. today, I am forced on the remodel the eagle in my film.
I also think something about how to build the wings could make the rigging easier. I have modeled two types of wings at the left corner in this picture. one is made by extruding(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPZ_vhjxHS0), the other way is pieced by every single feather.

this link is about how to rig the birds’ wings, but it starts with the feathers that have been bind skin. so I try to control one feather in the same way that can be chosen to rig the human’s fingers. to add an attribute and then connect them.

this the link is to teach how to create and connect the finger controls. I don’t know how to duplicate the feather like the man did in the former video. but if I use the duplicate special to copy the model only, when I rotate the handle of the first feather, all the feathers can move together. but the spread levels of the wings are different, so I think if I can do it by more handles. but I am not sure that if it is the correct way to rig, so I need to ask my tutors about this question.
the eagle isn’t the only one object, the head, the body, the tail, the wings, and the legs are all separated from each other. so maybe there will be some problems when I start to paint the skin weight, but I hope it won’t be a serious problem that I can’t use this model in my final film.

I am still working on the rigging of the bird. and there are only the bones of wings without rigging. I have no idea about it. to be honest, I cannot understand how other people did in those videos.

to save time, I am drawing the environment now. I am not good at drawing, in order to keep the angle in each scene is alright, I build a rough model of the environment, and then take pictures from different angles that I need to use in my animation.
these following scenes are those which have nearly been finished.
at first, I was worry about the color, although Mark suggested that I can draw in Sumi-e style, I have not tried this style in the past. I drew in the color that is a little grey, but my animation is easy, not melancholy, so I tried to use some lighter color. I think next I should consider the moving parts of the scene, such as the river. Of course, these scenarios are not completely finished, and some details need to be added or modified.
