Can combo birth control increase your libido?

I’m AFAB perisex and I just started BC like 2 weeks ago— my libido was already decently high but it’s gotten soooo much worse 😭🙏 I’m genuinely insatiable rn

I figured it would decrease since I can’t ovulate but good lordddd it’s bad

It's more common that it decreases your libido but some people have definitely noticed it increasing on birth control too!

That said, if it's really bothering you, you can talk to your doctor about options! Sometimes they have additional medicines you can take or other birth control options that make things like that less likely.
