I mean, I've noticed your Bus Manager Mod isn't in Simlish, and as a die-hard simmer, that kind of breaks my heart LOL just curious!

But the meshes used in the bus manager aren't mine, however. They're Either Sandy's/AroundTheSims or FreshPrince and i'm uncertain if they'd be okay with a texture replacement on their content 😅

Los Sims 3 - LS3SR03 (No CC)

Yo nunca digo que no a un buen reto, por lo que, cuando @joshttew me desafió a construir un edificio de apartamentos de estilo moderno en un solar pequeño, la única respuesta viable era SÍ. Y, bueno, @joshttew, espero que el resultado esté a la altura de tus expectativas.

Yo no estoy del todo conforme, pero muy pocas veces lo estoy. Me habría gustado hacer un edificio más alto, y lo intenté por medio de varios tutoriales y trucos, pero se me bugueaba el solar, me crasheaba el juego, o simplemente, no me convencía o no cuadraba con lo que tenía en mente, porque aunque es posible evadir el límite de altura (o al menos que así lo parezca), la verdad es que los "pisos" que añadas sobre ese límite estarán muy limitados en demasiados aspectos. Vaya, EA poniéndonos las cosas muy difíciles... Qué sorpresa, ¿eh?

En un primer lugar, mi idea era hacer un edificio de muchas plantas (10-15), que el apartamento habitable estuviese en la planta superior, y que, además, todo su exterior fuese de vidrio. Literalmente todo. Pero me encontré con dos problemas: siguiendo este tutorial, el apartamento habitable no podría ser el de arriba del todo, y este método, aunque sí me lo permitiría, no me dejaría hacerlo enteramente de vidrio, básicamente porque no se podrían poner ventanas en los niveles que se alteraran de esa manera.

Así que me rendí y decidí construir algo más sencillo para empezar. Y digo para empezar porque esto no se ha terminado. Soy muy cabezota, y aun no sé cómo voy a conseguir que esa idea pase a ser una realidad, pero así va a ser.

(Si alguno de vosotros conoce algún modo, le estaría muy agradecida si lo comparte conmigo).

Espero que os guste esta construcción y, sobre todo, que @joshttew considere que he cumplido el reto. Sería un alivio para mí saber que toda la ira, ansiedad y frustración que me ha generado en el proceso han servido para algo JAJAJAJAJAJA

Heya joshttew! Thank you so much. Honestly, I wasn't planning to share them; it didn't cross my mind that others would want them so I didn't restrict myself when it came to adding CC and the like.

However, I'm happy to share some of them. I've used so much custom content on these lots, too much for me to track down. So you'll likely have to re-decorate. But here is some of the basic CC that will at least give you a nice shell to work with.

1. What do you have under your bed? Travel bags, a guitar case and dust. Do you know that in french, we don't have dust bunnies, but sheeps? :D

2. Favourite candy? Chocolate (to be very precised: milk chocolate with nuts and dried grapes)

3. The last thing you drew/doodled was:  Ahaha, I doodled around my schedule for the Advent calendar; the day names are filled with flowers or abstract doodles. I drew them when I was at phone. I can't speak at phone without doodling! Sometimes I draw a word that has been said during the conversation and doodle around all the conversation long! :D

4. Are you completely sober rn?  Right now, yes, absolutely.

5. What’s the one thing that annoys you more than anything? Pfffffff... So many things! But the fact most of our politicians totally ignore the climate change drive me really mad.

6. Have you ever gotten your tongue stuck to a cold pole during winter?  Nooooo! When I was a kid, I had my fingers stuck a couple of times on the metallic ice-cube container that was in our freezer, and each time, it made a tiny black ball of blood on my fingers. It didn't make me want to see what it would do if it was my tongue! :D

7. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? Where I am, but in a safer world.

8. What was the single last word you spoke? "See you later", at phone with a friend. Well, no, to be exact I said “A plus tard!”

Spawners of Everything MOD

Tired of your game's spawners always spawning a limited variety of insects or rocks? Would you like the spawner frequency to be increased?

Well, your problems are over!

Introducing the new "Spawners of Everything". ALL THE SPAWNERS IN YOUR GAME will randomly spawn all collectibles! Insects spawners will spawn random insects like (beetles, butterflies, fireflies, will o'wisp butterflies and nanites) and rock spawners will spawn all the rock types in your world, making it more unpredictable than ever before. Explore and have fun!

4to3 Cats and Dogs "My Parent's Knick-Knacks" Emptied + Slots

I used this conversion by @kandiraver-sims as base, removed the clutter, added 7 slots, and redid the textures. It has two CAStable channels with only one preset, costs §100, found in Surfaces > Displays, Misc. Polycount: 188 (hLOD)/166 (mLOD).

2to3 Apartment Life "Fair Square Surface"

This has one preset with two CAStable channels, costs §235 with 9 slots. Found in Surfaces > Coffee Tables. Polycount: 962 (hLOD)/542 (mLOD)

4to3 Horse Ranch "Happy Wild Flowers"

This has a total of 6 presets, three of which have the clean vase, and another three that of a dirty vase, both with three flower variations. Two CAStable channels, cost §50, found in Decor > Plants. Polycount: 312 (hLOD)/193 (mLOD)

4to3 High School Years "The Sconce Response"

Three CAStable channels with lamp part is an overlay. One preset, costs §85, found in Lighting > Wall Lamps. Polycount: 426 (hLOD)/260 (mLOD)

Bjorn Single Chair

Shrunk version of the Bjorn Sofa from Pets as a living chair. Two CAStable channels, cost §350, found in Comfort > Living Chairs. Polycount: 312 (hLOD)/193 (mLOD)

Pets "Ranch Flower" Unvased

Suggested by @joshttew. It now makes a decent clutter item without the vase and the flowers. Two CAStable channels, cost §325, found in Decor > Plants, Sculptures, Misc. Polycount: 146 (hLOD)/60 (mLOD)

Pets "Desert Ivy" Liberated

Separated the plant part from the stand, now placeable in any surface and also comes with a smaller version. One CAStable channel, costs §50 (regular)/§25 (small), found in Decor > Plants. Polycount: 616 (hLOD)/416 (mLOD)

Base Game Science Rabbit Hole Paintings Remade

The science rabbit hole from the base game has two cool paintings found at the back part, so I decided to recreate them as a buyable object. Two presets with one CAStable channel, costs §300, found in Decor > Wall Hangings. Polycount: 78 (hLOD)/56 (mLOD)

You’re welcome and sure, I can do that as well in the next few days. What I’ll do is make the arch structure separate with 2 left and right grimm statues. Then they can be places any way you like.

It’s a bit better with the mask redone, but the overlay became slightly mis-aligned for some reason. I should go in Blender before opening my game every 5 sec thinking, “Oh now I’m sure it’s done!”...

That’s why I love him as my test sim, he always makes the best reaction faces. :)

Pharmacy Posters on Surfing The Universe

Anon who asked me about pharmacy posters is in luck as I was in the mood for a small Illustrator project :)

I made 5 posters, all shown in the preview above. The add-ons can be found here: 1, 2.

Download (SFS) (alternate)- files are compressed, Nightlife is required. 256x512 textures.

The graphics came from Freepik and the simlish fonts from uh very many different creators.

If anyone wants to put these on some different mesh, I uploaded the textures here.

I just reinstalled windows again and it’s weird to be setting up everything again that you’re suppose to be having :P As in your personal setup/workspace. I’m sure I’ll be tweaking some of the settings here and there just to get it back to my liking, but right now I’m reinstalling all the programs I know I used. (because to be honest, I had a lot of crap on it, like programs that I’d replaced with other programs, and then replaced those with other programs and it was just this endless loop of replacing programs XD).

Well there’s a little story behind the backing things up. So my dad set up this entire network for our computer to put our backups in and since i’m the only one here who owns a windows computer (My dad loves all of apple’s products, he never missed a apple event lifestream and after that he can’t shut up about it :P I don’t really mind it though!) it wasn’t really... compatible to my windows computer, or well... it didn’t want to connect at all! Which might be due the fact that I bootcamped my mac to windows, seems to cause a few connecting issues like using  bluetooth and connecting printers and stuff. So I spend some time getting it to work which I desperately failed to do XD Anyway, the very moment I asked him about the network thingy, maybe  my computer decided to crash on me... Yay! :D

I think if he wasn’t working on the whole network thingy, I would have seriously put my backups in a cloud or dropbox or anything like that! :P

Ah damn, that sucks. That sucks bigtime. Same, by the way, I've been trying to learn German too. I say "trying" because it's not like I actually ever get around to working on it.

I’m kinda concerned about the time I’ll have to learn it too, I mean I noticed that 10 minutes a day works for me, but I know the sooner I start learning grammar-ish stuff and certain words I’ll probably need more than 10 minutes to understand most of it. I’m using Duolingo though! It’s really user-friendly too, but it keeps sending me emails and notifications about my progress and stuff which is really annoying. Or like when you spent the amount of time you want to spend on it, it’ll just send you all these notifications about ‘It’s time to practise!’ even though you did all that already. *sighs*
