IT'S FINALLY DONE!!! 👀🤭🎉 The Egyptian-themed mansion I built as a vacation house for the sim in my current save, where I'm attempting to complete all in-game collections, including all the WA relics. At first, I had no clue how I would go about this, but then I saw this picture of an Egyptian-themed garden in Hamilton, New Zealand and immediately felt inspired. Only the front of the house is loosely inspired by it. Mefkat is the Ancient Egyptian word for turquoise, meaning "joy" and "delight", so I found it a fitting name to give to this house, not only because I've incorporated a bright aqua all over, but because if I were to live/stay here, I'd definitely be feeling joyful and delighted. 😌✨
I spent exactly two weeks on this build, with a break in between while my sim grinded to make enough money, enabling me to finish decorating it. It's quite store-content heavy, but I've listed everything I've used alphabetically. I also used a couple of CC items. 🌴🌊🌷 INFO 🌷🌊🌴 - Lot size: 64x64 (Built on 1 Western Delta in Al Simhara.) - Price (Furnished): §305,532 - There is one empty room at the front of the house with its own entrance. It's pretty small, but I left it empty with the intent of maybe using it as a display room for some relics and collectables. It's up to you what you'd like to do with it! - 3 bedrooms (excluding the study and empty room) - 3 bathrooms (all are full bathrooms) - *ALL EPs required - *SPs required: Fast Lane Stuff, Outdoor Living Stuff, Town Life Stuff, Master Suite Stuff

I HIGHLY recommend these default wood texture replacements. It's an absolute must-have for me.
(NOTE: I found that some default item overrides that automatically remove stencils from objects [not velocitygrass' stencil remover] conflict with the wood replacement textures/render them broken) -Mods used (NOT required)- S3 Decorator Tools by OmedaPixel velocitygrass Stencil Remover

Available only in .package format, just drop in your Mods > Packages folder.

about the last rant I posted...
I deleted it lmao. Thank you, still, for paying attention by leaving a reply or by just simply liking. But I thought I should refrain a little from ranting here like I'm on twitter (lol) since this account was made for just sims stuff anyway. I also thought ranting too much is negative energy (sorry about that), like I'm only here to share sims stuff just for fun.
anyways here's a random game screenshot for good vibes..😁

Simblr Monthly Collab Project: Rules
If you are interested in participating in the Simblr Monthly Collab Project, but aren’t sure what the rules are, you are in the right place !
The concept is fairly simple : Every month, we, the Simblr community, will vote on a theme for the next month. When that month comes, everyone is invited to make and share a little something to give back to the community following the current theme! Now, when imagining this at first, I was thinking of CC, but actually there is so much more that the Simblr community can use ! Sim dumps, reshade/gshade presets, even editing tutorials, if it’s useful to Simblr, it fits in! Just make sure to post your content under the global tag #SimblrCollabProject and the monthly tag which will have the format SimblrCollabMonthYear (for example August 2025’s monthly tag will be SimblrCollabAugust2025). That way it will be easier for us to find it and reblog it !
Of course, there are a few rules to follow :
No early access and no paywalls. This is about giving back to the community. If you don’t want to do that, this event is not for you.
People with only a Tumblr account need to be able to access your content. For example, if you are posting a sim dump and your download platform requires downloaders to get an account, you are breaking the rules. Even if the account is free. That means no ModCo, and no « followers only » content on patreon.
No SimsFinds, and no Linkvertise. Do I really need to explain that one ?
If you use CurseForge, please provide an alternate link.
No hate and no bigotry, obviously. I wish I didn’t have to include this in the rules but we live in a crazy world.
No judgement of other, less experienced creators will be tolerated. Simblr is a safe place for a lot of us and I want this event to reflect that.
We will only reblog SFW content. If you make NSFW content for the project and use the project’s tags, we ask that you use the mature content flags appropriately.
Oh and I forgot… all Sims games are welcome!
I think that’s it ! It’s pretty straight forward.
One last thing, to those who are hesitant to participate… come join us! You are welcome here. And feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Have a good day/night,
The Simblr Collab Project Team 💛

Here's me trying out some current fashion trend. Y'know, wide leg pants, oversized shirt and the likes. Looks good on my simself, I've yet to see if in real life I'd look like that lol..
All thanks to conversions by @meochicc (shirt) and @elvgreen (pants) I'd get to try on clothes even without wearing them..😅

I am guilty of the first few paragraphs, where the lack of attention to my works DO really sting. And I mean it, I not gonna lie. The endless wondering of what could have been done to increase the numbers that signify, as far as I'm concerned, my creations' worth as a whole. This has been always like this, when I think the figures I get per post were not enough to call myself an important part of this community, TS3 and its diverse catalog of custom content particularly, up until the point I burned out, almost tempted to disappear and leave no traces behind.
I also acknowledge the fact that I always compare myself with other creators (within the same league of cc as mine) who get higher figures, that fast-tracked the burnout. Hence not showing up for a while, to think over and reflect.
So am I expected to have a "numbers don't matter" mindest after writing this? Sure. But it turns out I just don't care anymore. I've been disappointed too many times to the point I'm already numbed when I get measly figures compared to those folks who get more. I still love my craft, so I'm slowly trying to share things again, not to expect a lot, but to show my love for TS3 by creating for it.
Over the past couple of days, I’ve been coming across posts from folks cheering and encouraging people to create and share without worrying about notes or reblogs—to post because it brings joy. Those posts are well-intentioned; they can be good reminders and motivators. But if you’re new here or feeling discouraged, I want to offer something a little different. Not a pep talk, but a bit of perspective.
First: yes, putting effort into something and getting no response can sting. That feeling is valid. It’s human to want to be seen. You’re not wrong for caring. But caring doesn’t guarantee attention—and attention doesn’t necessarily reflect the quality of your work.
I’ve seen incredible creators go mostly unnoticed. I’ve seen casual shitposts take off (no shade—those are fun too). There’s no clear formula. Timing, interests, luck, the folks in your orbit—those things all play a role. And if you start chasing visibility like it’s a sign of your worth, you’re going to burn out fast.
We’ve all seen it: creators who write long, apologetic posts explaining how this place is affecting their well-being, messing with their heads, or folks who rage-quit, wondering what else they could have done to win people’s admiration.
The truth is, no one owes you anything here. You're not entitled to likes and reblogs, or people's time and adulation merely for creating. That’s not meant to sound harsh—it’s just reality. But there’s a kind of freedom in that too. Because if no one owes you attention, you’re also free to stop tying your value to whether or not you get it. Your worth isn’t measured in likes or reblogs, and the moment you start believing it is, this space will start to feel like punishment. You’ll start wondering if you did something wrong when that post doesn’t get as much engagement. You’ll begin sacrificing what you enjoy making in favor of what you think others will like. You'll resent mutuals who might not be interacting as much or as frequently. And in doing that, you risk losing the spark that made you want to create in the first place.
So if you find yourself refreshing for notes—if you catch yourself chasing attention—it might be worth asking: Do I want to share this, or am I hoping it’ll make me feel something I’m missing? Either answer is okay. Just… be honest with yourself.
That’s not a judgment—it’s just a checkpoint. A pause. Because the more honest you are with yourself about your intentions, the more peace you’ll find in creating.
An alternative to chasing crowds is to create because not creating feels worse. Because it keeps you thinking, moving, and engaged with your own voice.
You’re not creating for nothing. You’re creating to keep the habit, the practice, the part of you that makes things—even without applause.
That’s enough. And if it’s not? Go do something else. You don’t need this place to prove anything.
