love bullet theory - kanna knew koharu before she died

an explosion happens after hiroshi confesses to asaka. kannas weapon is grenades + asaka gets heart pupils right after the explosion, and (presumably) agrees to go out with hiroshi.

its possible that this could have been a one time experience, but koharus classmates often remark how good she is at matchmaking people, how they always go out together. this makes me think that kanna noticed that koharu had a knack for this, and started 'shooting' the people that she matched. she also let koharu decide who hina would end up with at the end of chapter 1, which she might have done because shes seen her match people up before... idk !!

2. this girl in chapter 1 thats looking at the former confession play out look a lot like kanna, i think! the hairstyles very similar, and theyre both ':3'. its possible that shes in her human disguise watching over koharu.

3. this might just be a bit of a stretch, but kanna knew koharus name before she could introduce herself. kanna said that she made a vow to become koharus mentor, which could have included the goddess of love giving her info on her, but idk how likely that is. she could have found out about koharus name through the target data info, too, which is why this might be a stretch...

The funny thing about this playlist is that Ian is my favorite character but this was the hardest of all playlists to make. Constantly I was adding a song and then removing it because it just didn't feel right, it wasn't Ian enough. All other playlists felt very in character and this one I just couldn't get right, I was never satisfied.

For exemple, he was just a kid being groomed but at the same time he didn't feel like some kind of innocent defenseless child, he thought he was in control. Hence, "Suck My Kiss". This song is very sexy, flirty, aggressive, imposing, intense. That's the vibe I wanted to go with Ian, same for "Inside Out".

Also, he first saw Kash as some kind of victim in the sense that Kash is gay, so by his logic, it justifies what he does to Linda, why he lies and cheats, and that's the way I wanted to portray Ian. All about him is kind of in between and thats what I wanted. “Kerosene” is that for me. Not love but wanting to be loved, wanting to be seen, wanting to be something to someone, putting himself in someone else's pocket to feel belonged, accepting the circumstances cause it feels like the only way to obtain what he wants. Important: it's not passion. It's not real. There's no fire but just a flame, and so he inflates it with kerosene. That is, until Mick comes and then Ian sees what's real fire.

Then there's a series Mickey Milkovich songs: “Sweet Dreams, TN”, perfect puppy first love song to my boy Ian Gallagher, just yearning for Mickey constantly throughout S1 and S2. "Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You" + "We Might Even Be Falling In Love" makes me think of Ian visiting Mick in juvie S1E1. "Lonely Boy" would be for me getting back to Mickey S2 without thinking twice cause he's madly in love and seeing Mickey leaving him easily by throwing himself at juvie again. When I listen to “Hot Knife” I think about S3 gallavich being little menaces beating Ned and robbing his wife and also their first kiss. "Stay On Your Mind" for me is aftermatch S3E6 cause Mick became distant and Ian wants him to be thinking of him. "Tighten Up” I wanted it to be post-S3E6 trying to talk to Mickey and that being the trigger for his bipolar (last verse part "living just to be going/going just to be sane/all the while without knowing/such a shame"). “Lilac Wine” is S3E11 wedding day, getting drunk and being miserable, and "I Know It's Over" is his 'don't' scene with Mickey and leaving Chicago heartbroken.

“Runaway” should be S3E12 Ian joining the army; “Seven Nation Army” is him joining + helicopter + turning back to Chicago. “Townie” + "New Body Rhumba" + “Art Deco” is S4 impulsive, manic, induced in drugs, club dancer Ian. “Disco” would be S4E8's gallavich club big kiss scene; “Closet Lunatic” would be S4's bipolar Ian cause no one is admitting something wrong with him.

“Totally Wired” would be S5 first half, living with Mickey; “Lithium” + “Territorial Pissings” is S5E6 Yev's kidnap. “Where Is My Mind?” is about being caught by the cops and S5E7 being put in the mental hospital. “Girl, You Have No Faith in Medicine” + “Kill the Medicine Man” is him refusing treatment. “The Bourne Identity” is S5E8 when Mickey left and Debbie had to go get him. "Manic Depression" is him facing that everything's changed and he's either out of meds and having hallucinations or on meds and can't get hard and how it frustrates him to no end. “Ultraviolence” is the S5E10 docks scene when they fight and get drunk and kiss and fuck before Ian gets caught because of Sammi.

“Masterpiece” + "Dosed" is S5E11-12 him escaping with Monica and noticing what they have in common but also that they're completely different, seeing the life she lives because of the bipolar and the lack of meds and realizing that's not who he is and that's not how he wants to live. "Would?" + "Fire Water" + “WDYWFM?” + “Let Me Go” are S5E12 gallavich break up songs.

"Crack Baby” + “I Have No Hometown” is S6E1-3 depressive Ian fase. “Wiped Out!” + "Look On Down From the Bridge" is S6E3 almost suicide attempt. “Drift” + "Y" + “Mário de Andrade/Selvagem" is S6/S7 beginning again and becoming an EMT Ian. It's all about griefing the life he used to have and aspired, accepting his reality and gaining perspective.

"Atrás/Além" + "Can't Help Myself" is hearing from Mickey after so long and ultimately knowing he's powerless, realizing how much he still loves Mick and misses him. “New Person Same Old Mistake” + “Gotta Get Away” + "So Real” are all S7E10-11 gallavich songs. “Never as Tired as When I'm Waking Up” is S7E12 leaving the Mexico border and coming home and everything sucks and Monica's dead, which is "Mr. Grieves" and the beggining of his new maniac epiosde.

Then my favorite songs! “American Jesus” + “Jesus Lived in a Motel Room” + “Bombtrack” are the perfect S8 Gay Jesus songs to me. While "Prison Décor" is S9E1 Ian's manic first round at jail cause of Gay Jesus and not wanting Fiona to bail him out, "Pink + White" is his S9E6 reunion with Mickey. "Deixa" would be his second round in jail, this time with Mickey, and a somewhat more optimistic vision that not everything is over, the contrary, it's an opportunity for starting over. "Wild at Heart" is about finding true love and companionship, comfort, and trust in Mickey, and being grateful that he did not give up on Ian, for him to come to Ian's rescue after all the gay jesus shitshow. "Morning Theft" is a love letter about all he and Mickey had to go through and all the breakups to finally be back together.

"Is It True" is S10E8 Ian breaking Mickey's heart (again lol) with the whole marriage thing. “Homissexual” is Mickey with Byron; “Maybe” + “Lover, You Should've Come Over" is him missing Mickey and wanting to marry him. At last, “Soldier of Love” and “Real Love Baby” are the final, happy ending, married until death takes them apart gallavich finale he deserves.

One (slightly horrifying) thing I've learned from playing ZZZ is that the staff is VERY good at making characters that look one way but act in a completely unexpected way that has the ability to charm me.

For instance, before I started playing, I thought I wouldn't like Nicole. I thought she was going to be an overly shallow, snotty type that would be very "ohoho~" and annoying in a tropey way. And..she is "ohoho~" af but she's actually in a very delicate balancing act of being an absolute queen and a huge girlfailure and she steals the show whenever she's around. She's indeed vaguely all of the things you expect her to be but she does it in such a...charming way that she has me laughing and I'm ride or die w her now.

I didn't expect to like Lucy either! I thought she'd just be a normal tsundere but the one thing I've always really hated about typical tsunderes is their inability to be reasonable and how out of pocket they can be and Lucy...isn't like that. She's actually super reasonable and she sorta drives that ship. Calydon as a faction balances her traits out so well that when she barks orders it's like "ok yeah finally someone with common sense 😌✨️" if anything. She's still a princess-y tsundere but she missed the one trait I can't stand and that's kind of impressive to me tbh.

I didn't expect to dislike Seth per se but I didn't expect to like him that much either...he's a cop (his biggest sin) and he's...peppy. Which...isn't a sin...but it makes me (who is fucked up and evil) soooorta wish for him to uhh. break. 😇 Just a little bit! As a treat!! But he got me too okay....like fuuuck whatever! Whatever!!! Wet sad catboy with No Friends and his family problems that keep making him say "is my family normal? 🥺 it's normal right?" whateverrr!!! Just get in the car, loser!!! 🤧 god!!

I didn't think I'd like Harumasa! I have complete trust issues with characters that look like him! I expected him to be more of a ~sunshine on the outside but dark on the inside~ yandere-leaning kind of trope based on looks. But he's actually one of my favorite character archtypes instead...he's literally a sleepy guy with a billion nuanced problems and a fucked life. My favorite fucking food!! I owe you an apology, Mr. Harumasa!! I wasn't familiar with your game!!

But perhaps the most surprising twist of fate is me liking Wise. Like, I did NOT have high hopes for this boy, okay. I was NOT a believer. I didn't expect either one of them to have that much personality. When I first saw Wise's design with my working eyes I thought ZZZ devs fucking hated him. I thought he was going to be stale bread in terms of personality.

Okay, well to summarise (there will be spoilers but also this comes on early on so its not too big of a deal)

Abyss comes from the au Abysstale, sometimes called "Celltale." He and the rest of his au code was erased. How does this not kill everyone in the au? Well, via the sacrifice of the most determined individual, of course , idk man. It's like...anime logic or something. This technically makes Abyss and the rest of Abysstale "codeless," making them unable to be assessed via the Doodlesphere and theoretically OT doors as well. The reason the au is sometimes called "Celltale" is because Abyss, his brother and presumably others are made of a new type of "soul" called "CELLS". It's explained that its theorized monster souls are unfinished and via completing it with DNA monsters are able to achieve a new level of magic and invulnerability. Thats putting it simply but there's a more in depth explanation in this lore dump in the new abysstale. To note, it's not like they can't die; they just can't be altered by changes in code.

BUT SIT DOWN, we haven't gotten to the main conflict yet.

Due to an incident involving some mysterious creature Abyss' papyrus falls into critical condition. Due to the brothers unique composition they cannot be healed by normal monster magic so Alicia (Abysstale Alphys) creates a teleporter so can move papyrus to a location with more resources safely but OH NO the teleporter goes wacky funky and that's how they end up the multiverse. Accidental teleportation.
