So! Kon made a plan! Get her to discover he's Superboy by herself by carefully placed clues, then there no one would be able to say he "revealed his secret identity", because he wouldn't have, she would've discovered by herself!

He fully belived she would be able to do it, even without his help.

Caroline Hill was the smartest girl Kon knew, after all.
