Aziraphale is a huge flirt. Crowley gets flustered easily.

Crowley steals all the genders but Aziraphale is content with the lack of them

Crowley would go to bars and rant to Hozier, not knowing it was him, then hear his songs on the radio and break down because the lyrics understanded him.

He was also besties with Freddie Mercury

this moment will never fail to crack me up. old as a whole-ass world demon managed to look like a gangly 12-year-old schoolboy from the 40s who's trying to read up on his mate's notes before getting brutally called to answer in front of the class. and u can see his heart stop but he has an aloof and cool persona to mantain, hence the glasses. godspeed(?) little soldier. don't trip on your way there btw your crush is watching from the first row

What a wonderful date Aziraphale had in 1941!

Within a few hours he...

Touched his love's hand

Realized how much Crowley loves him and vice versa

Made indecent proposals (not understood) during a nice car trip

Got a job in the West End

Received encouragement (and puzzled looks) from Crowley

Went shopping with his partner

Touched his love's hand once again

Performed in a splendid dress

Placed his earthly existence in Crowley's hands

Received applause for an incredible performance

Shared the dressing room with this wonderful demon

Wore a feather boa

Said his name in the bitchiest way we could imagine

Managed to do a real magic trick just by saying Banana, fish, gorilla, shoe lace, with a dash of nutmeg

Got a souvenir photo

Showed off some of his best heart eyes

Had a very romantic candlelight toast

He had the best time of his Life 🥰

Something I’ve noticed, throughout history Aziraphale changes his outfits just as much as Crowley.

I mean, at first he’s dressed like “An Angel”. This takes place during the periods when he is just observing Earth as an Angel of heaven.

Then once he’s “Gone Native” and is hanging out on Earth on a more permanent basis, he dresses to keep up with style and the times, and most importantly to blend in.

Then we get to 1941 and suddenly his outfit is static and unchanging. For 80 years he remains in the same outfit (and yes for this example I’m not including Brother Francis or Warlock’s birthday party because those were disguises).

He even laments to Crowley about his jacket being ruined when it was hit by a paintball.

And then is so happy when he fixes it.

So why is this? Why does he insist on wearing the same thing? For 80 years? Well after fashion has moved on multiple times. What’s so special and significant about this outfit exactly? Why does he love it so much?

It’s almost like perhaps something happened in 1941 that Aziraphale is trying to preserve. Or maybe, to recapture. Something to remind him of that night. GEE, I WONDER WHAT THAT COULD BE?!

I’ll see myself out.
