I think your page speaks volumes about the way you’ve perceived and endured life and I’m sorry you haven’t had the time or opportunity to soak up the good things that are all around you, I hope you develop skills that allow your success to be built off of things that are good and pure and not cheap manipulation tactics and lies
Devil may care: A guide on being unbothered.
Okay, and??
Sweetheart, I really appreciate your unwanted sympathies and illusionary sensitivity directed towards me. In our culture when someone is being sweet, kind and helpful (even if fake) we make sure that we pay them back with something valuable. Here's a small guide curated for you that will help you in being self secure so you won't feel threatened by other people's success and opinions.
1) Have a life:
Nothing screams idle to me more than this. Like you have time to be offended by someone's post and comments which you might just scroll by and ignore?? On top of that going above and beyond to let that person know. Okay, Sushma. Now log off and do the pending coursework.
2) Build genuine confidence:
Ladies, fake it till you make it can only go this far. You have to work on your underlying issues and address them. If you don't you are susceptible to triggering even by a mere stranger. Confident people don't need to go above and beyond to prove other people. They embody it.
3) Self awareness:
It's tiring to explain this. Just Google it at this point. This word is thrown like a football everywhere. You know it. Do the homework.
4) Practice self compassion and boundaries:
Negative feedback is part and parcel of life. Accept it, analyse and if it applies adopt or otherwise ignore. Boundaries are important to understand the difference between constructive criticism and disrespect.
If disrespected don't be afraid to put a bitch in place. Until then shut your mouth and concentrate on your goals.
5) Opinions are subjective:
Everyone has their own life experiences and opinions are formed based on those. Your Roman Empire might be different from your friends but does it mean it's invalid? No. Develop empathy and open-mindedness. Not everyone has the same views. It's okay.
6) Develop a thick skin:
You can't survive in this world if you are triggered by the tiniest of things. You have to be comfortable in being painted both as a hero and as a villain. Don't let others opinion get to your head. Owe to yourself that I will stand in my truth thou glory or disgrace.
7) Reflect a rbf stance:
When someone tries to belittle you, try to put you down, talk shit about you. Your body language should be cold and reserved with a rbf that screams intimidation but all you are going to say is Okay, and??
8) Master Sarcasm:
I have said this before and I will say it again. Revenge is a dish best served cold. Sarcasm is the ice in it. Ladies learn sarcasm. It's the one way ticket to put people in their place in a humorous way.
9) Be classy. Be polite. BE UNTOUCHABLE.
Who do you think will be named as the crazy one? The one who is screaming and belittling someone or the one who is still being polite but discreetly showing the person where they belong. Never resort to screaming and shouting. That's dumb. Second never go out of your way to prove how you are relevant. Take it or leave it mentality.
10) Seek professional help:
Even after all of this you are not able to practice being unbothered. I think a therapist is the best solution for you.
P.S. :Ladies, this is what I mean when I say leverage the fuck out of your connections and opportunities. This is how you turn a negative into a positive.
Plus I am petty enough to not let this disrespect slide but thought it would be a good content idea for my posts, isn't it??
That's all for today's show on ash-says. Stay tuned for more illegal tricks and explosive opinions.

I feel like no one is asking the important question ever since the pre-8x05 interview with Oliver came out...
Robinson R22
It's small, it's lightweight, it's fast, it's agile, the 2-seat Robinson R22 is the Cessna 152 of the rotary world, meaning it's by far the most popular model for basic pilot training.
Everything from its 2-bladed semi-rigid teetering rotor system, to its T-bar cyclic design keeps the production and maintenance costs of the R22 to a relatively affordable level, hence allowing more aspiring pilots to achieve their dream without breaking the bank. Due to its popularity, employment opportunities are also easier to come by. Once you've successfully gotten your flight instructor license, you can basically accumulate flight hours while earning money by instructing other students.
Please don't be mistaken, the R22 is popular among student pilots solely for its cost effectiveness. It's in no way an easy helicopter to fly. Because it's so light, the controls are extremely sensitive, some may even say twichy. The first 10 or so hours in the R22 can be quite a frustrating experience. Instead of you flying the chopper, it'll feel like it's flying you, that it has a mind of its own. Even the most experienced former military pilots who spent their entire career flying attack helicopters may feel like they're writing cursive in the sky for their first couple of hours in the R22 before slowly getting used to it. But if you manage to tame this beast, you can basically learn to fly anything.
The Robinson rotor system design also makes it very susceptible to mast bumping. (Yes, even more so than other similar teetering rotor designs) While it can be prevented by adequate pilot training (to avoid instinctively overcontrolling the aircraft), once it happens and the rotor separates from the mast, it's basically always a death sentence.
But the most important factor that may disqualify the R22 as BuckTommy's training helicopter of choice, is its lack of cabin space and low weight limit. It has a maximum cabin width of 3.7 feet, which is cramped even for normal sized people, let alone our 2 human tanks. Not only will they be pressed flush against each other (kinda hot ngl), their shoulders will be squeezed tight by the doors, which makes the overall flying experience very uncomfortable, even a bit limiting. The maximum weight the R22 can carry, including fuel, luggage and occupants, is 490 lbs. If you want to have enough fuel to last for more than 30 minutes, that leaves you only 400 lbs to spare. I strongly suspect the combine weight of these beefcakes exceeds that number.
Robinson R44
The Robinson R44 is basically the bigger, 4 seat version of an R22. It has all the advantages of the R22 in terms of performance, cost effectiveness and abundance of employment opportunities (It's the most produced piston engine helicopter), with the added bonus of a more spacious cabin, a higher weight limit (it's designed for 4 occupants after all) and less sensitive controls as it's quite a bit heavier.
It still has the same heightened risk of mast bumping, and it's more expensive to rent and operate than the R22 (seeing that it's double the size).
A unique advantage of starting your pilot training in the R44 is that once you get your PPL (private pilot license), you've already had enough experience in a 4 seater and you can immediately take your friends and family to the sky with you, no transition or additional training needed. I think Buck will appreciate that.
Schweizer S300
Unlike the Robinsons, the Schweizer S300 was designed especially for training purposes, so it's much more forgiving to fly for student pilots.
It has a 3-bladed fully articulated high inertia rotor system, making it very stable in flight and eliminating the issue of mast bumping. Its conventional but clean cockpit design also makes the learning experience more straightforward. The cabin can be configured into a 2 pilot training setup, or a 1 pilot+2 passengers one, so naturally, the cabin is quite spacious as well.
It has a traditional cyclic in the middle for controls, instead of the T-bar in Robbies.
One possible downside of the S300 is the lack of an RPM governor, meaning pilots have to manually adjust the throttle to maintain rotor speed when maneuvering the helicopter. It adds a bit of workload, but it's not hard getting used to.
The major problem with this aircraft is the giant flat windshield in the front creating enormous amount of drag. It may be suitable for training, but absolutely not for any medium to long distance leisure flying. Its range is quite short, and if you run into strong headwind, it can be veeeerrrryyyyy slooooooooowwwwwww.
Guimbal Cabri G2
Watch out, she's the new hot chick kid on the block. She's young, she's smooth, she's cool and she's from France. (Cue gone girl cool girl speech) First introduced in 2008, this bird was designed to be the ultimate training helicopter, combining the sleek aerodynamic fuselage and lightweight 2 seat configuration of the R22, but with extra space for comfort, and the stability and controllability of the Schweizer S300, without the added drag. It's fast, agile, but at the same time safe and comfortable.
Designed by a former Eurocopter engineer, the Cabri G2 has many modern systems in place to ensure the safety of the inexperienced student pilot.
It has a glass cockpit with fully integrated flight computer system. Unlike flying the Robbies, where you only have a analog fuel gauge, the Cabri G2's system constantly calculates and shows you the estimated time you have left in the air with your current amount fuel.
It has a 3-bladed articulated main rotor just like the Schweizer, so mast bumping is not an issue either, but it also has the added protection of a shrouded tail rotor called a Fenestron, which is a trademark of Eurocopter (known as Airbus Helicopter now).
Instead of being exposed to the element like traditional tail rotors, the Fenestron type is housed in a sort of window in the tail to protect it from striking foreign object in flight, thus greatly enhancing its safety.
Like all aircrafts designed in the 21st century, it's largely made out of light composite material, so it can be spacious and sophisticated without compromising on weight.
The Cabri G2 was designed to be very crash resistant. According to the manufacturer, the seats can withstand shocks from a crash with as high as a 2000 fpm descent rate. Its fuel tank is also incorporated with resistant technology to prevent a fuel fire post crash.
With the Cabri G2, learning to fly a helicopter has never been safer, comfier and cooler.
I can't hide my bias to this hot chick beautiful bird, she's just that good, but she's also very hard to find and super expensive to rent. Over 6866 Robinson R44 were ever built, but the new girl Cabri G2? Just around 300. It's very expensive to rent, the hourly rate comparable to a 4 seat R44, simply due to its rarity. But Tommy works in the industry? I'm sure he can pull some strings for his boyfriend if the G2 is what he wants.
Turbine helicopters
The previous 4 models are all powered by piston engines. They're cheaper, easier to maintain, but not powerful enough for bigger utility helicopters operated by the military or authorities. If your goal is to work for those institutions, you'll eventually have to gain experience in a helicopter with turbine engines.
So why not start in a turbine helicopter, you asked? Well, they're super expensive to rent. The hourly rates for the above 4 models are all in the hundreds, but for a turbine one, like the AS350 (the one Tommy flew to the cruise ship and to Vegas with Eddie), it's in the thousands.
Although we're talking about Tommy "knows a guy" Kinard, who magicked a whole AS350 news helicopter for his personal trip to a fight in Vegas, and Evan "trust fund baby" Buckley here. I guess they can somehow get a giant turbine one without any problem like us commoners. They're easier and more fun to fly anyways. (Faster but more stable.)

Astrology observations
Another one I think this is 3
Back at it again with the astrology observation again please don’t take my ideas I actually work so hard to come up with these concepts
Capricorn placements are so funny I swear to god. They are underrated in this regard because they don’t make a lot of jokes but they always have the perfectly timed dry humor that is just so funny. They can make giving you a real talk so funny because they just make everything else seem so dumb.
Idfk who said libras were balanced under developed these people are so selfish it’s like whatever their version of balance is…
Virgo women can get really caught up with trying to be the “perfect” or ideal women. They struggle the most with self image issues.
Pisces placements… I’m so sorry and I never speak in absolutes but spirituality community service or art is really the best manifestation. If you have Pisces sun or moon you have to learn to be in service of something or you can lose your sanity pretty easily and you may not be able to tell. Pisces is a karmic sign that has debts to pay. Maybe you don’t have to be the most selfless person because that doesn’t always do Justice but you have to learn to devote yourself to something or you could be susceptible to mentali ilness, alcoholism, depression, or drug abuse.
Scorpio mars anger is so real my little sister has this and she always bring up shit from when we were 4 in arguments. I’m 20…
Cancer taurus and Scorpio mars hold onto shit for WAY TOO LONG
Gemini + Virgo big three = a know it all
Even if they don’t know they act like they do
Aries moons are the true babies of the zodiac watch them react when something doesn’t go their way(esp. if mars is debilitated)
Virgo mercuries can be so… confused? I know they get the credit for being smart and I don’t doubt they are but when it comes to real world experiences. I don’t wanna sound mean but this placement can be so clueless. I think they get really fixated on details that they can miss quite a bit.
Venus debilitation mostly just has to do with self esteem and how it relates to your relationships. These people are so attractive tbh.
10th house ruler in the 8th has so much potential for success.
Pisces moons roll their eyes or look up when they’re lying thank me later. (Women)
Planets at home can sometimes just be way too much cancer moons are overly sensitive Virgo mercuries can be fixated on minute details venus in Taurus will never get over their person.
I don’t know why Pisces is exalted in the Venus position, they are the people always getting walked all over in relationships because they love their partners so much.
Sagittarius and Pisces moons escapism😔
Scorpio Mercury likes to be exclusive. In friend groups they like to make sure people know that they’re lucky to be in this closed circle with them. (ESP. W libra sun/placements)
Water sign moons (under developed) can be so untrustworthy tbh. They’re on your side till you piss them off then they use your vulnerabilities against them. This is mostly true for cancer and scorpio.
I have so many Venus conjunct mars in scorpio in my life and let me tell you👏👏THESE👏👏PEOPLE👏👏 GET 👏👏WHAT 👏👏THEY WANT👏👏
Not in a malicious way it’s just they’re gunna do what they wanna do.
With sag sun though🫣 very sweet people but when they’re not paying attention to your needs you gotta step it up if you want them to be held accountable.
Libra moons are annoying asf cause how u always get me to agree w u. Like these people are so charming it’s annoying.
Taurus moons are the best and there’s no competition
Gemini Mercury is very good at talking and listening but Mercury in the 3rd are the really talkative ones.
Check aspects to your 10th house ruler to discover your relationship with your father.
If you have planets in the 8th house im sorry there’s always some sort of intensity there but tbh as a person with 8th house placements I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Mercury placements are usually so thin… and Mercury risings can have problems with eating.
Libra risings are so soft spoken. Even when they’re yelling it’s like 🎶🎵🎶

Poor Lucy seemed much upset. She was restless and uneasy all the time, and I cannot but think that her dreaming at night is telling on her. She is quite odd in one thing: she will not admit to me that there is any cause for restlessness; or if there be, she does not understand it herself.
This line is so interesting to me, because it's part of the pre-Dracula sleepwalking, and yet already we are seeing this element of Lucy not knowing what is going on with herself. Not simply with regards to her not knowing that she's sleepwalking - but something deeper, a possible failure to understand that there may be any reason for restlessness at all. In other words, she might not even realize that she is stressed (enough to affect her mood/health).
Of course, the other option is that she knows it full well but isn't willing to admit to it. And that certainly fits with the themes explored in her story! I do think to a certain degree it has to be true that Lucy knows things are wrong but doesn't want to admit to that. In fact, we get confirmation of her doing this at various points. But those are more about physical issues. This line suggests Lucy might be in denial or unable to recognize her own emotions when they are not positive or do not correspond with what is expected for her. For example, she should be happy about getting married to Arthur, so anything outside happiness is repressed. I want to make it very clear that I'm not suggesting she doesn't feel this happiness. She loves him, she's excited to marry him. Period. However, she may also be stressed about other things in conjunction with this. Later on in this same entry, Mina describes Lucy's reaction to the abuse of the pet dog:
Lucy is so sweet and sensitive that she feels influences more acutely than other people do. [...] I greatly fear that she is of too super-sensitive a nature to go through the world without trouble. She will be dreaming of this to-night, I am sure. The whole agglomeration of things—the ship steered into port by a dead man; his attitude, tied to the wheel with a crucifix and beads; the touching funeral; the dog, now furious and now in terror—will all afford material for her dreams.
These lines about Lucy feeling influences and being super-sensitive... Mina means them here in the sense that she will be very upset and affected by all of these distressing experiences, more than other people would. But the story itself certainly seems to suggest that Lucy is more susceptible to magical influences as well, what with the fallout being Lucy delivering herself to Dracula. There's ambiguity whether she was simply returning to her favored seat, or whether Lucy, much like the dog, felt Dracula's presence during the funeral. The reader is free to interpret what they like here, and I've waffled on it myself in the past. But there's a couple things that make me think 'both' might be the answer, and one of them is the link between Lucy and the dog.
During the funeral, the dog behaves uncharacteristically in a couple of ways. Initially, its reaction to Dracula is noise and protective behaviors. This is consistent with other dogs who have been in his presence, but isn't typical for this dog in particular (and thus is definitely due to him). But once it is forced onto the gravestone above him, it cannot try to alarm or fight anymore. Instead, it sinks into a state of terror and seems unable to flee. At the same time, Lucy is clearly also very distressed, but makes no move to help the dog.
They are both quiet persons, and I never saw the man angry, nor heard the dog bark. During the service the dog would not come to its master, who was on the seat with us, but kept a few yards off, barking and howling. Its master spoke to it gently, and then harshly, and then angrily; but it would neither come nor cease to make a noise. It was in a sort of fury, with its eyes savage, and all its hairs bristling out like a cat's tail when puss is on the war-path. Finally the man, too, got angry, and jumped down and kicked the dog, and then took it by the scruff of the neck and half dragged and half threw it on the tombstone on which the seat is fixed. The moment it touched the stone the poor thing became quiet and fell all into a tremble. It did not try to get away, but crouched down, quivering and cowering, and was in such a pitiable state of terror that I tried, though without effect, to comfort it. Lucy was full of pity, too, but she did not attempt to touch the dog, but looked at it in an agonised sort of way.
In the past, dogs have raised the alarm against Dracula, but we've never actually seen them meet him on the page so much as heard about it afterwards. It's possible that they always cower once he gets too close. But it's also possible that the dog's close proximity to him here allowed him to influence it in some way, perhaps similar to the way he used his paralyzing gaze on Jonathan during the shovel attack (though obviously not relying on line of sight in this case). Regardless if it was an automatic aura or a more deliberate action on his part, it seems clear that the dog was affected by being so close to Dracula. And I wonder if Lucy's "super-sensitive nature" allowed her to sort of... pick up on that influence. Her behavior matches the dog's in the moment. She too is deeply distressed but seems unable to move, only to look on. She's also atop the grave Dracula is in at the time. And perhaps that influence lingers, affecting her in her sleep even as Mina fears the other events of that day might. Perhaps it draws her back to the place she first felt it, a place that her sleepwalking self is naturally already inclined to head towards. Something she feels, but cannot verbalize, and does not even necessarily understand she is feeling.
Perhaps her sleepwalking was influenced by others in the first place, without her even realizing it. I do think Lucy is more observant than she's given credit for, and she could very well be noticing Mina's distress and her mother's illness. But she could also, with this theory, be affected by them in a subconscious way, enough to influence her own health and sleep.
Basically, what I'm hinting at is some kind of unaware empath(ish) Lucy. I think it could work really well with established themes and details. It would tie in so well with details like her looking in her mirror and trying to read herself, or her sleepwalking in her youth, her father sleepwalking, her father being dead. (Perhaps he too had this ability. Perhaps he was ill when she was sleepwalking as a child.) It also could be such an interesting piece of everything surrounded the theme of keeping up appearances, putting on a happy face, not voicing distress. Her mother has taught her to be this way - and sure, it's a function of her societal role, but also... maybe it's related to her knowing Lucy is different in some way even if she can't verbalize how. The people-pleasing tendencies, her distress at turning down the suitors: sure, she's a very sweet person, but also what if she feels their distress too in a much more literal way than most people?
Perhaps Lucy has always been this way. Perhaps she has shared in the distress others feel to the point that it has made her sickly in the past... this could be a contributing factor to the way her mother tends to infantilize her and want her to be 'cared for', to the way Mina observes her health so closely from the start. Maybe Mrs. Westenra is trying to hide her illness because she thinks Lucy couldn't handle knowing about it, without being aware that Lucy is already affected by it even without the knowledge. The only difference that is made is that Lucy know doesn't know why she is affected, or even the full extent of how she is affected at all.
It works so well with everything happening with Lucy, both now and later! Of course you don't have to read her as any form of psychic (she could still be picking up on things just through observation, or just be stressed about the big life change of becoming a married woman), but it is really fun to do so. And it fits all the themes.

OUR SHARE OF NIGHT by MARIANA ENRÍQUEZ
quickly: a father tries everything in his earthly and unearthly power to prevent his son from inheriting a legacy of horror (abuse from the one who loves you most / blessed curses and buried secrets / bisexuality so powerful it’s omnisexual and omnipotent / chalk circles and pits of bones / closed doors opening / evil grandparents with old money / haunted houses with locked rooms / like father, like son / Lord of Doors, Signs, and Symbols / missing limbs and missing mothers / people lost in the darkness / something dark in the woods).
The story begins with a young Gaspar being spirited away by his migraine-stricken father Juan, and it follows him through his adolescence, as his father tries to keep him safe from their own evil family—by any means necessary. These people are not Disney© evil by the way, these families that include Juan’s in-laws, known as The Order, are vicious, kidnapping, human trafficking plutocrats. They practice a philosophy of magic where darkness begets darkness, and in that darker darkness they reign. They cage children, abduct and torture strangers, and will even spill their own blood to conjure chaos. Unfortunately for The Order however, their ability to render magic from their dark deeds is almost useless without a medium.
★★★★★ Fantastic horror.
This was a book I read in March of 2024 after seeing it on a list from @bloodmaarked!
To Juan’s disappointment, his young son is showing signs of becoming a powerful medium at a young age, making him susceptible to the deplorable whims of The Order. To keep young Gaspar protected, he must also keep Gaspar ignorant to the powerful magic and sorcery flowing through his blood. As so often happens in families filled with trauma and secrets, the repression of Gaspar’s powers will cause him to be an overly sensitive and deeply emotionally wounded child who has a habit of walking backward into the traps his father works ceaselessly to keep him unaware of.
In time, it will be revealed to Gaspar that Juan is a Great and tortured medium; the vessel of a dark, powerful, and ruthless force known by many as The Darkness. The Darkness is an old god, often presenting itself as a massive black cloud of energy, and makes its power known through tragedy, bloodshed, foreknowledge, and the locking and unlocking of doors to other realms. This ‘demented’ and ‘savage’ force blesses whatever it curses and can mark its followers by wounding them with its golden talons. If you were to reach into this black cloud, you’d pull your arm back to find that your hand has been cleanly amputated and cauterized. Eaten. You may also wake up the next day, marked, with the ability to unlock locked things, or sense people before they appear.
Meanwhile, until Juan’s truth is revealed to his son, Gaspar must learn to grow up with two versions of his dad. One version of Juan is the kind, serious, wise teacher. The other Juan, the dark version, is irrational, voracious, bloodthirsty, and almost evil. Though Gaspar has no knowledge of the powerful magic that flows within him and his father, he has an uncanny understanding that there is something lying beneath the surface of the waking world of reality. Sometimes he even finds himself opening doors no one else can open. No one but Juan.
By the time Gaspar reaches adulthood, he grows up to be just like his father… exceptionally powerful, stunningly beautiful, and outrageously unpredictable (maybe even a little bi too). The final phase of Juan’s elaborate plan to destroy The Order is set into motion by his death, leaving it up to fate, Gaspar, and those who love Juan and his son, to hopefully and finally, close the door to evil for good.
This is sophisticated, detailed, high-level horror, with excellent dialogue and conversation about family, community, lineage, capital, sex, grief, despair, power, and action—and by action I mean forming a well thought out plan and doing what it takes to see your plan through.

I cannot understand my identity. I don't know if I have one. I have talked to people in my life about this. Their explanation is that my identity is in relation to the world. I'm someone's sister, I'm a student, a future journalist. This is all well and fine. From what I've read this is deterministic, that my identity is influenced from environment. But my question is what am I when I'm by myself. Who am I then?
It's driving me mad to think that all my opinions and thoughts and everything are influenced by people around me and things I've consumed in form of books and media.
How do I become authentic self? How can I have original thoughts?
such a completely fascinating question, i love it. i think your depth of thought and concern for this topic actually shows great authenticity and originality.
i do believe in many ways we are influenced by our external world. it’s why it’s so so so important to surround yourself with people, media, knowledge etc of a really high quality that helps us level up.
at the same time, i do think we have to some extent an inner self that we must meet and understand.
personally i love human design and astrology (bear with me for a moment if you don’t lol), and my first thought is that there are types in human design in particular that actually would explain exactly how you feel (i’ll share a bit about it but also “translate” and share a non human design interpretation if you aren’t into it). so for example in the human design system, reflector types are particularly susceptible to outer influences, and their purpose is to embrace this is be “reflective”, adaptive, beautifully flowing and varied. (and not just reflectors but elements like an open G centre or other elements of a chart can cause this too) this is just as valid of an identity as somebody who is more defined and less externally influenced! so what you are experiencing may actually be your ideal way of being and a major strength, rather than a shortcoming.
reflectors or those with open G centres (or, in non human design terms, those who report they are particularly sensitive or attuned to outside vibes, energy, other people, opinions etc) are often wonderfully deep thinkers with profound capacity for insight because they are connected so much more to the outside world, the thoughts, feelings, sentiments of others in a very natural way. you have a way of connecting with and understanding others that many people just don’t have. this is an incredible strength, rather than a disconnection from self you are actually connected to so much more.
whether or not you are interested in human design i do think this “way” of looking at it is useful: it may be that your strengths are actually in being receptive and understanding what environments are enriching and “right” to thrive in, how people think and feel as a collective etc in a way that somebody else’s might be in their steadfast sense of self. for some, embodying and expressing a clear sense of inner self is how they navigate the world, for others being more fluid and receptive is how they best navigate. it’s not that you don’t have an inner sense of self, it’s that you may have great capacity for variety, adaptability, and fluidity. again, a major strength and not a weakness at all. the challenge will be to learn to manage this and not feel overwhelmed and taken over by the outside influences. giving yourself time to think and reflect (particularly through writing or any externalising process) is essential. this is how you come back to yourself after you travel so far and wide in everybody else’s energies and ideas.
the fact you can even perceive that you have this tendency actually shows great capacity for self reflection and i think you are probably more in touch with who you really are than you realise. when it comes to forming your own opinions etc, to be honest, no great thinker is made alone. it is wisdom from others, non stop acquisition of knowledge, and your own life well lived (stretching outside of yourself as much as possible) that will come together to start naturally forming your own conclusions. this will always be informed by outside influences, or it should be. to come up with things only in your own mind is close-mindedness. your capacity to naturally be open to the ideas of others is a major major asset in intelligence and cultivation of knowledge and wisdom!

よき風と共にyoki kaze to tomo ni/godspeed, my witches~
Moon Day 4 in Aquarius/Waxing Crescent
M o o n N a v i ♥︎ 3 of Pentacles
To be honest, I almost couldn’t make it to post today’s Moon Navi, because it feels like there’s been a lot of bad energies that are trying to stop me in my tracks, the very moment I even so much as think about readings. Let’s just say, I’m well aware there are demonic energies around me that have been trying to kill me recently LMAO
So…I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention to the news or if you’re actually living some of these terrible realities right now, but chaos is imminent all around the world, and I thought of taking this chance to write about…this, and remind you of the need to up your psychic protection game as we all move forward into the next year.
Obviously, this advice is even more relevant if you identify as a highly sensitive person or empath or even Lightworker or Starseed, as we are the types of people most susceptible to sensing, or worse, absorbing the whole world’s pain and madness right now. Personally, my solar plexus chakra has been getting a fuckton of attacks it’s practically a crime against humanity at this point.
Well anyway, it’s a good thing today’s waxing crescent is increasing our clarity and the Aquarius aenergy is boosting our endurance, our persistence! In spite of all of these psychic attacks, general distress, blockages in our manifestations, and everything else that doesn’t seem to work out as we have intended, honey, we are SMART and SNEAKY as fuck, so all of these annoyances should only be strengthening our resolve to put the enemies in their place: HELL.
Honey, it’s time for a revolution. A truly spiritual kind of revolution that actually sends all psychopaths serving the dark back to whence they came from. At least that’s my intent. I’m not a forgiver. I never forgive or be lenient with people or any other entities that have hurt or even so much as annoyed me. I don’t tolerate or take any disrespect from psychopathic frequencies lightly. Personally, that’s my whole attitude about much of what’s going on in the world today.
So, I thought of sharing that in the hopes that this helps you notice on your own some of these psychopath frequencies that are circulating in your personal Reality where ever you may be located on this Planet that’s currently deep in shifting phase. The way I see it, as an intuitive empath, I feel like our manifestation game is going to win. So, don’t let the psychopath frequencies terrify you. We’re sure to win, witches~!

My Heart is strongly supported by my Solar Plexus, my Sacral, and my Root chakras down to the soils of Mother Earth. Euden's Surprising Spread of Spidey Senses
So this is another of the 'things I noticed a while ago but am now properly committing to text so I don't forget everything'. Anyways, I found it funny the more I looked that Euden seemed to have a wing of general senses/ability to discern things/feelings or reactions that nobody else had, and sometimes he thought he was completely normal when they really weren't.
The earliest example I can think of offhand is chapter 13, wherein he feels drawn to the whatever ominous mana stuff that gives Ranzal the heeby jeebies.
Yes Euden I wonder why you're attracted to artificial mana that may be corrupted by black mana
As my friend joked in this scene, he's the one kid in a tv show that has to be stopped from licking whatever clearly bad object everyone else has the good sense to not touch (even if in this case, he'd be perfectly fine if the main reason it is 'dangerous' is because of black mana, being immune. Not that they knew that because since everyone hightails it as soon as it starts getting too thick so they have no idea he's not susceptible, but I digress).
Then, there's his ability as I jokingly refer to as the ability to sample and dissect dragon roars/behavior like fine wine:
Nothing like being able to tell if a dragon is hurting or sane as well as their mood based on their roars. And it's not exactly a set science or habit that can be learned with all the noises the very-varied-in-form Dragalia dragons make. I think he does this at least once or twice more, but I could be wrong.
Regardless, imagine Euden and Bahamut having a conversation where Bahamut does his standard Variations On A Roar performance and Euden's just like, 'hm, interesting. that does sound tasty'. And everyone is very confused how he got that from ROOOOAAAARR.
Then there's his sensitivities regarding other things, like his ability to tell when someone is about to shapeshift.
This is where he also tries to turn to his siblings to go, 'hey this is normal, right guys??' only to be flatly rejected.
Granted, they more suggest experience might be the cause of his talent here, but since it's ultimately speculation and up in the air and explicitly something everyone else finds weird I elected to include it. Regardless if it's natural or supernaturally developed, it's a sense nobody else has.
Even Nedrick realizes quickly that Euden's just Weird and hypersensitive to dragon-mana stuff and decided to formulate a plan around that and extend a bit of trust to his ability. Which, for Nedrick, Mr.Never Trust Anyone Ever To Do What I Need Done, is a testament to just how weird and valuable he finds the skill.
He later goes on to use his understanding of dragons and pacts to split up the power concentrated under Elysium back to their proper owners, the individual Greatwyrms.
Then, of course, is the built-in 'GPS return to sender' he has when it comes to Xenos' location and status. Quite handy he had that, or else we would immediately have gotten Dragalia 2: Electric Boogaloo wherein everyone collectively realizes Xenos isn't dead and has to assemble the gang again x years into the future. (Actually maybe it'd be better if he didn't so we could've gotten another Dragalia-)
Ahem. Anyways, this is getting long, so I'll cut it off there, but the fact that Euden was weird compared even to his family is just a thing that is passively baked into canon. And this isn't even counting his behavioral oddities that constantly leave others going ??? regarding him all the time, just his sensory ones!
And I like those little kinds of oddities very much.
Long story short regarding Euden:
Bonus round on editing:
Oh yeah, he also has a Find a Friend working ability that allowed him to track down and hear his friends across pocket dimensions. Even Mids, who has supernatural senses of his own in being able to derive 'true location', can't hear across worlds. Perhaps it's a good thing Euden didn't make too many otherwordly friends. Imagine constantly hearing friends speaking that aren't even in the same area or time of existence as you are (like Luca did that one time in the comics).
Also, it's a bit funny that even if it's a power innate to him he's still addressing it as if it's completely separate from him and asking 'it' nicely to open up portals. Nothing like Euden being unable to do something himself, but because he's asking 'himself' nicely suddenly finds the willpower to make manifest what he wants.
...Imagine if it applied to food. 'Please mysterious power my friends and I are starving, can we have some food?' and a luxury turkey dinner just pops in front of them, what he was secretly wanting and is like 'wow what a coincidence, exactly what sounded heavenly to me personally. Thanks mysterious power!'
#dragalia lost#dragalia#I know dragalia rapidly went on a crazy train trying to wrap everything up#and mystical senses provide a quick and easy way to provide direction to a group when dealing with matters 0.1 people understand fully#...but I gotta say#the unintentional slow building of Euden as just a Very Weird Person in regards to sensations and powers is funny to me.#Like it's not even the standard protagonist powers of 'I press win/you lose.' OP kind of things.#But the exact blend of 'ignorant to his own weirdness' and the powers themselves they added is just funny.#Dude's a walking friend locator/dragon empath combo. And isn't that the dream?

Coraline is actually exposing what happens in a relationship with a Narcissist (Part 1)
Coraline had always been one of my favorite movies, so I couldn't help watching it again but this time I noticed that the movie was exposing what happens in a relationship with a narcissist.
Narcissists are individuals that are extremely self-centered which makes them have grandiosity, they lack empathy for others as well as seek validation and attention from people too. So, The Beldam is clearly a narcissist, but what gave that away for me is when she love- bombs Coraline in the beginning.
Verywellhealth.com states, "... the love bomber showers their partner with gifts, praise, and other gestures that appear flattering on the surface. However, these tactics are manipulative, meant to groom their partners, isolate them from friends and family, and secure themselves as the most critical person in their partner's life. The goal is to ultimately make their partner emotionally and socially dependent."
The Beldam immediately used the manipulative tactic on Coraline when she arrives in The Other World. She makes her minions shower the young girl with attention while she gives her gifts and affection, making Coraline become enamored by the romanticized world.
Now the reason Coraline is easily manipulated by the Beldam is because she gets ignored by her parents. They are constantly busy with work so they never make time for her, and they often dismiss her when she speaks to them too. Of course, she begins to feel frustrated and possibly invalidated by her parents which makes her the perfect target for The Beldam.
Medium.com stated, "Narcissists are adept at identifying vulnerability in potential targets. They have an uncanny ability to spot people who may be emotionally fragile, insecure, or experiencing a challenging period in their lives."
The Beldam successfully manipulates her into wanting to live in the mystical world by exploiting her desire for attention and affection. However, when she attempts to convince her to sew buttons into her eyes and Coraline rejects her, that's when The Beldam's true form and motivations begin to surface.
Coraline learns that she truly desires to consume her life like her previous victims, the three ghost children, which actually represents narcissistic supply.
Kaminiwood.com states, "Narcissistic supply represents a form of emotional dependency where the narcissist requires constant validation and admiration in order to feel good about themselves. A narcissist has an inflated self-image and needs someone to constantly feed their ego. So, they will deliberately target people sensitive to their superficial charm and charisma, susceptible to manipulation, and vulnerable to narcissistic abuse. Because they cannot connect healthily with other people, narcissists seek for narcissistic supply."
There are various ways that narcissists get their supply like being abusive, exploitation, dominating or controlling others, and even feeding off of others' emotional energy. They don't want to get rid of anyone that offer them supply, because they need it to boost their ego and self-esteem.
Now, the Beldam might not do all of that, but she does want supply, so she reacts passive aggressively towards Coraline when she rejects her. Instead of letting her go home, she traps Coraline in The Other World, and attempts to lock her away but Coraline ends up getting away and returning to her reality.
There is a lot more subtle representations or symbolisms in the movie that I noticed, but I'm going to dig a little deeper next time. All in all, I hope that this was helpful to anyone that wants to learn more about narcissist and even gain some insight to some of the tactics that are used when in a relationship with them.

Heya!
For any OC who needs a bit more development/ 'on screen' time:
What is your OC's pain tolerance like? What memory would your OC rather just forget? What is your OC's weapon of choice? Have they ever actually used it?
(also, if required, use this as permission to slack off for a bit. Take some rest, do something fun, and remember you're cared about)
Heya! You're always a joy to see in my notes, such a positive force in this community, lovely, lovely, thank you for the ask!
I'm gonna do these for Anthony, full name Dr. Anthony Kasperek, an OC I've had for over a year but never really talked about, but the basics are: he's a scientist in the field of astro*incoherent mumbling* uh something or other, tentatively astrobiology, but maybe astrophysics or something else entirely depending which way the story goes or if I at all figure out what I'm talking about, point is, space science of some sort, okay, and he's one of a number of scientists invited to this somewhat shady facility to study what may be a possibly earth-shattering extraterrestrial artefact. He's stubborn, paranoid, jumpy, and a bit of an insomniac (because which of my ocs aren't at this point), but has a passion for space and the stars and unlocking the mysteries of the universe like nothing else. He's also very very good at his job, but has a manic edge that tends to scare people away, himself included sometimes. Anyway, onto questions:
What is your OC's pain tolerance like?
I'm oscillating between the idea of it being really low or really high due to the fact he's used to having to deal with things like massive migraines, needles and too much stimuli, but I don't know if that would make him more or less susceptible to the pain it causes. Because on the one hand, the familiarity could make him more numb to it, but on the other hand, it could also make him even more wary, elevating the issue in part psychosomatically. It certainly still causes him stress, so I'm inclined to think the amount he's been relegated to has actually lowered his pain tolerance over the years, making the sensations all the more unbearable/worse each time because he knows it's coming but still is never prepared because in an ideal world, he wouldn't have to deal with it again at all, and he wants to believe he's done with it, believe the pain will never come back, so it's a source of fear and shock every time it does.
2. What memory would your OC rather just forget?
Oh, for Anthony, I'm sure there are too many, especially the way his brain works, solidifying the worst of them, while throwing the rest into chaos when he's trying to focus and suddenly can't remember that vital piece of information in his head that was just there, it was just there, and also especially with his reputation as the “eccentric” scientist, which he’d rather have left behind. There's definitely the... incident that led him to be let go from his job at NASA, which he doesn’t like to talk about, (and also doesn’t understand how it hasn’t barred him from working on such a sensitive project, because what’s up with that? Why did they choose him? Why did they choose him?), and there’s the time in college when he had to spend a semester in the psych ward, but even then he had the stars to comfort him, (he somehow talked them into letting him have those little plastic glowing ones on the ceiling).
3. What is your OC's weapon of choice? Have they ever actually used it?
Is it trite if I say his intellect/his mind? Though sometimes in that case, the weapon occasionally turns on himself. Actually, I'll go with something even more trite and say his genuine love for the universe and everything in it is his greatest weapon (and probably a secret tool that will help us later.jpeg). Barring that, I think he'd think daggers are pretty cool, but I doubt that will come up in the story, I'm sure he might whack someone with his telescope if in a pinch, but ough the calibration, but when cornered, his weapon of choice would probably be his fists or his nails, or throwing whatever random objects happen to be in the vicinity, perhaps if given the opportunity, he might find a way to give someone a little zap with the building's electricity. He may or may not have used those last few methods before...

HUMAN DESIGN REFLECTORS
As a human design reflector, you are born with a unique and special connection to the cosmic world around you. It wouldn’t surprise us if people make jokes about your being a psychic (or if you actually are one!). It is your role to enliven and lift up the energy of others. You can amplify and reflect other people's energy to them in a non-imposing, non-judgmental way.
You will lead the way to a global awakening of consciousness but it is important for you to find your place in the heart of your community. Even though you have all open centers you have a protective aura to help guide you and are no more susceptible to outside influences than any other person.
Your biggest fear may be not being seen or included (talk about extreme FOMO) and this can lead to non-authentic behaviors and feelings of disappointment. It is important that while you feel the energy (pain and joy) of others to stay neutral. Questions to ask yourself: “Who am I today?” or “Can I be myself?” If you feel yourself dipping into this feeling, remember to delight in everyday miracles, which you’re so good at finding.
Feeling disappointed? It may be time to switch your circles or take a look at your environment. Feeling disappointed is your tell tale sign you are out of alignment.
Your strategy is to wait and get in sync with the lunar cycle. Surprise in the everyday miracles of life is what ignites your soul so look for them constantly and appreciate them even if everyone around you thinks you're crazy for hugging the tree.
One moon cycle of living in alignment with your chart will help you to awaken your mind to what is your truth vs what is the programming. Focusing on your truth over your programming will help alleviate the resistance.
Glow inside and out with a curated journey of oils and self care acts that will help you discover your purpose and infuse self love and joy into your daily life.
CLAIM MY INVITATION Human Design Reflector Self Care Guide
Morning – As someone who tends to take on a lot, it is important for you to ground yourself each morning by journaling and saying your affirmations as you apply your face oils.
During the day - As an open and sensitive being, it’s important to take care of yourself and not let yourself become overwhelmed by the world’s pain. It is best for you to spend as much time in nature as you can. In order to release the energy you pick up during the day, it’s important to have a dedicated space for you to unwind. Recommended Essential oil: De-Stress
Nighttime- For a human design reflector like you, it is not a good idea to go to bed completely exhausted and start to wind down an hour before so you can release energies that do not belong to you and prepare for a restful night. Make sure you get your alone time!
Smell is also the only sense connected to the limbic lobe of the brain, which controls emotions and is strongly linked to behavioral patterning so can help you reprogram your open center and strengthen your defined centers. Use oils with your self care to awaken your senses and recondition any old stories you may be telling yourself that no longer serve you.
Glow inside and out with a curated journey of oils and self care acts that will help you discover your purpose and infuse self love and joy into your daily life.

@moomoobug future spouse
Alright, so right off the bat im getting energy that your FS may be some level of famous either now or in the future, whether that’s Hollywood level fame or just being really popular and well-known in their community.
They’re someone who’s very adaptable and doesn’t mind change, even embracing it, though they don’t really chase it either. They know how to balance what is and what will be, the old and the new. But they’re also someone who has their priorities straight.
They’re definitely someone who may have a spending problem. It’s kind of like, “I worked so hard for this money I may as well enjoy it” so they’re susceptible to impulsive purchases, though I also get that they don’t necessarily do that with shared funds or even the funds of people treating him. Like if they’re paying themself they go all out, but if it’s someone else’s hard-earned money they’re getting the cheapest thing on the menu.
(I’m also getting male vibes I dunno if you prefer men or women but…)
They like rewarding and spoiling themself as well as others around them.
They’re definitely someone who follows their gut and their heart. Someone who knows those things won’t steer them wrong, and someone who definitely is very idealistic. They view the world and their life through rose-tinted glasses, and are most definitely a romantic.
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if your dates are straight out of a movie, but catered just to you. Even if you prefer small things like staying at home and watching movies, it’d be the most romantic show stopping date known to man.
They follow their heart more than everything, and are definitely a feeler. (I’m getting a prominent Pisces placement here, maybe even a stellium, Venus, or moon?) definitely a very sensitive and emotionally vulnerable person but in a good way.
The kind of person who’s very determined and can stick things through to the end. (Now I’m thinking not a stellium because I’m getting they probably have another prominent fixed sign, maybe even Capricorn/Virgo??? But definitely a fixed sign here) the type who won’t let people push them around and will achieve their goals if it’s the last thing they do.
They’re resilient and stubborn as a mule when y hey want to be. The type of person who you can’t really bring down from a high, but also the type of person you can’t bring up when they’re low. So it’s a double-edged sword in a way. They’ll stay put until they feel it’s time to move, and only when they feel it’s time to move.
Definitely someone who has a very structured life, who grew up with a lot of authority figures and probably has an authoritative role themself. I also see them being someone who had to take care of their little siblings, less in a motherly way and more of a fatherly way. Like a pseudo father because they had shitty parents who were never there or just were very abusive/negligent.
Either way they’re someone with a lot of structure who needs to feel in control of situations or it’ll stress them out to no end. They like things to be done right and their standards are so astronomically high that no one can really meet them, so they have to take things into their own hands so to speak.
Though definitely the doting, loving type who likes to take care of people. I’m talking cooks, cleans, manages the financials if you don’t want to, would in fact pay off the household expenses themself so you can use your money on yourself, etc.
Like if you wanted to they would in fact just pay for everything and do everything around the house happily. Not even in a “Would develop hatred towards you for it” or “Wants to control you and your life” but more so that they enjoy doing those things because they know you’re taken care of, safe, and they’re actually being useful to you? They feel fulfilled like that.
They’re someone who’s very brave and compassionate. The type who can push through anything (Getting Leo placement vibes here), because they’re that strong. They’re laser focused on their goals and don’t let anything or anyone get between them and finishing said goal. They’re also someone with a lot of inner and outer strength, who can push through anything.
The type who can walk through hell with a smile then be home before sundown to make dinner.
They have a strong sense of home and community. They value bonds of friendship and family, however small or seemingly inconvenient. The type who welcomes everyone into their home if they need someplace to go, always helping people in need and doing charity.
A very caring soul.
They’re also the type who doesn’t really…Envy people’s success? They find every excuse to celebrate others (and themself). Or just celebrate in general. Like even if it’s something as small as getting a job he’s being happy for you and hugging you and telling you that you’re amazing. And you know they mean it.
They’re very emotionally stable, and are satisfied with life very very easily. They’re ambitious, but at the exact same time, satisfied with even the small things they have. They can make the best out of the worst, and won’t let people bring them down. Because they’re just like that.
They also enjoy the finer, more luxurious things in life. (Definitely getting cap placement energy)
They’re someone who self-reflects a lot. The type that’s very self aware, even to the point of being hyper aware of themself, and always looking in themself for guidance and ways to improve. Not in a self-loathing way, because they’re very confident and comfortable within their own self, but rather, because they know they’re human and have flaws.
The type who’s easily lost in thought, and succeptible to zoning out or daydreams.
They’re someone who plans things out a lot, and is good at making very very tough decisions, and even prefers to be the one that makes them. They’re very opinionated, and the opposite of indecisive. They don’t dwell on ‘what if’s or what could have been, because they know they can’t go back and change that, and accept it.
The type who left home at a very early age, I’m talking as soon as that clock struck eighteen (or maybe even before that?)

do i need a vpn for home network
Importance of VPN for Home Network
In the age of digital connectivity, safeguarding your home network has become more crucial than ever. A Virtual Private Network (VPN) plays a significant role in ensuring the security and privacy of your online activities within your home network.
One of the key reasons to use a VPN for your home network is to encrypt your internet connection. By doing so, a VPN creates a secure tunnel for your data to travel through, protecting it from potential cyber threats such as hackers, identity thieves, and surveillance. This encryption helps prevent unauthorized access to your personal information, ensuring that your online communications remain private and secure.
Furthermore, a VPN allows you to browse the internet anonymously by masking your IP address. This means that your online activities cannot be traced back to your physical location, providing you with added privacy and security while surfing the web.
Another important aspect of using a VPN for your home network is the ability to access geo-restricted content. With a VPN, you can bypass regional restrictions and access websites, streaming services, and content that may be blocked in your location. This opens up a world of possibilities for entertainment, research, and communication without limitations.
Overall, incorporating a VPN into your home network setup is crucial for maintaining the security, privacy, and freedom of your online experience. By encrypting your connection, safeguarding your personal data, and allowing access to geo-blocked content, a VPN serves as a valuable tool in enhancing the protection and functionality of your home network.
Risks of Not Using VPN at Home
Using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) is essential for protecting your online privacy and security, especially when browsing from home. Not utilizing a VPN exposes you to various risks that can compromise your sensitive information and leave you vulnerable to cyber threats. Here are some key risks of not using a VPN at home:
Exposure to Hackers: Without a VPN, your internet connection is susceptible to hackers who can intercept your data transmission, steal personal information such as passwords, credit card details, and other sensitive data.
Data Tracking: Internet service providers (ISPs) can track your online activities and sell your browsing data to third parties without your consent. This invasion of privacy can lead to targeted advertising, identity theft, and other malicious activities.
Public Wi-Fi Vulnerabilities: When connecting to public Wi-Fi networks, your data is exposed to potential hackers and cybercriminals lurking on the same network. A VPN encrypts your connection, making it secure even on unsecured public networks.
Geographical Restrictions: Some websites and services may be restricted based on your geographical location. A VPN allows you to bypass these restrictions by masking your IP address and providing access to geo-blocked content.
Government Surveillance: Without a VPN, your online activities can be monitored by government agencies, compromising your freedom of expression and right to privacy.
In conclusion, the risks of not using a VPN at home are significant, ranging from data breaches and identity theft to government surveillance and restricted access to online content. By investing in a reliable VPN service, you can safeguard your digital presence and enjoy a secure and private browsing experience from the comfort of your home.
Benefits of VPN on Home Networks
A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, is a powerful tool that can offer numerous benefits when used on home networks. One of the primary advantages of using a VPN at home is enhanced security and privacy. By encrypting your internet connection and hiding your IP address, a VPN helps protect your online activities from prying eyes, such as hackers, snoopers, or even your own Internet Service Provider.
Furthermore, a VPN allows you to access geo-restricted content by masking your real location and assigning you a virtual IP address from a different region. This means you can unlock streaming services, websites, and online content that may be restricted in your area, expanding your digital entertainment options.
In addition to security and access benefits, a VPN can also offer improved performance on your home network. By rerouting your internet traffic through secure servers, a VPN can help reduce latency and bandwidth congestion, leading to faster and more stable internet connections, which is beneficial for online gaming, video streaming, or large file downloads.
Moreover, VPNs can be a valuable tool for remote work, providing a secure connection to your company’s network and ensuring that sensitive data is protected from potential cyber threats.
Overall, incorporating a VPN into your home network setup can bring a wide range of benefits, including enhanced security, privacy, access to geo-restricted content, improved performance, and a safer remote work environment. By investing in a reputable VPN service, you can enjoy a more secure and versatile online experience in the comfort of your home.
Types of VPNs for Home Use
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a crucial tool for safeguarding your online privacy and security, especially when browsing from home. There are various types of VPNs available for home use, each offering different features to cater to individual preferences and needs.
Remote Access VPN: This type of VPN allows you to connect to a remote network securely. It is ideal for employees working from home who need to access their company's internal resources.
Site-to-Site VPN: Site-to-Site VPNs connect multiple networks together, such as connecting your home network to a company network. This type of VPN is useful for businesses or individuals who have multiple locations that need to be linked securely.
