it starts because Yaku is staying at Kuroo's apartment

and kuroo is stressed, he's working nonstop and hasn't been on a date in months

there's always been tension between them, so fuck it, right? what can go wrong

They think it would be okay bc they're not the type to fall in love easily and Yaku is only visiting for a few months before going back to Russia

and its so gooood, there's banter and teasing and there's no pressure bc it's them, and sure they get on each other's nerves but there's mutual respect and they know each other so well

Yaku remembers neck kisses drive Kuroo insane bc he mentioned it once (1) in college. Kuroo knows Yaku looves being praised lmao

Yaku: how tf you know that?

Kuroo: i just know you pretty damn well Yakkun

and he does!! He knows Yaku in a way no one else does

so at some point the lines get blurry right? because hanging out normally like friends starts to look a lot like dating

they go shopping and buy suits together lmao (they keep calling each other "hot" but they think it's in a platonic way (its not) )

and they think no one knows about them but Kenma saw them kissing once, sighed and just said "i don't want to know"

Kai knows. He just knows.

Kai: oh, is that Kuroo's shirt? :)

Yaku: why tf would i wear his shirt? he never washes them (he's wearing Kuroo's shirt)

suddenly, sleeping together becomes more. it turns into cuddles, and forehead kisses and sharing a bed (Yaku can't remember the last time he slept in the guest room)

Yaku tells Kuroo about all those nights in Russia when he just wanted to take a flight home, back to Japan, back to his childhood bed, back to nekoma, back to Kuroo.

and it's so rare for someone like Yaku to open up like that, but it's easy because it's Kuroo, and he trusts him.

And Kuroo tells him about his parents, about his mother leaving

and the sex it's different too. it's intimate, blushed cheeks, soft smiles and looking at each other's eyes.

but they're dumb

like so fucking dumb.

it takes a while for them to admit their feelings

and it happens because Kuroo wakes up to fresh coffee, scramble eggs and Yaku wearing one of his shirts, and it's too easy to forget theyre not dating

and he gets so lost in a lazy kiss, he gets so lost in the way Yaku holds him, how he pulls him closer, he gets so lost in Yaku that he forgets he has a very important meeting

He only realizes he's late because his phone keeps ringing.

and he leaves with a small peck and a quick "shit i'm late, goodbye Yakkun, i love you"

and he leaves so quickly that he doesn't see the shock on Yaku's face

it's only after the meeting is over that it hits him

oh, oh.

he is in love with Yaku Morisuke.

and the worst part? Yaku is leaving soon.

i never know how to phrase it but something about the way beatles biographers and people in general view paul's reflexive placating persona and determination to smooth things over as manipulative or duplicitous and john's reflexive barbed persona and habit of lashing out as brave and subversive despite both being equally defensive mechanisms to shield themselves from the world that resulted in them saying things that weren't true says more about how we culturally view kindness or friendliness as inherently untrustworthy or flimsy and anger and carelessness as more believable as someone's true nature than it says about either of them in actuality

Finished the game couple of days ago and had some thoughts I needed to process a little. Like. Yes.

So anyway I actually didn't plan this and just wanted to redraw some sprites to just make sure I understand how to draw Siffrin correctly (still working on that!)

What did I learn from this? How fun it it to draw on a canvas that literally doesn't let you draw with colors without some layer cheating when necessary. Never tried it.

Doesn't help, but at least it's cute.

I have no idea what was going on in my mind as I drew this. Feels like a fever dream of 'I want to sleep' at 4 am and 'Hm...' of thinking random things

hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O

unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!

my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not

May I ask what were the best transformers media you ever saw/read?

Well Transformers Prime, Transformers 1986 and IDW comics are having the first place that’s for sure

And then the second place is kind of shared by Fall of Cybertron, Exodus, Prime wars trilogy, Robots in disguise(2001) and Transformers One.

The third place goes to G1, Animated, Earthspark, Armada, War for Cybertron Netflix series, Aligned Robots in disguise, Bumblebee, Rise of the Beasts and Cyberverse because I only liked some little parts of them.

And then I also saw some of the Bay movies, Victory and Headmasters and didn’t like them at all.

Separate first place for J-Decker. It is not exactly Transformers but it is a show about giant robots and I loved it
