i have this hc of Yaku's younger sibilings calling Kuroo in an emergency. Because they're young and they have always relied on Morisuke but now their older bother is in another country so they call Kuroo for help (also Kuroo screams "big bro energy" despite not having a little brother).

Kuroo is not longer dating Morisuke but when he gets a call at midnight from one of Yaku's sibilings asking if he could pick him up Kuroo doesn't think twice. He doesn't think twice when one of them needs to move stuff into his college dorm, even if Kuroo is super busy with JVA stuff, because is volleyball season and Morisuke couldn't fly back to japan to help his brother move.

and god it drives Yaku insane. Because of course despite everything he can count on Kuroo, he can trust him with the two most important persons in his life. it makes him fall in love all over again.

Yaku's brothers try so hard to get them back together because in their eyes there's no one more perfect for Morisuke than Kuroo

Referring back to the post I made that said, "kuroo is the yaku households' favorite guest." Well, here are some headcanons / little Scenarios to go along with that.

Yakus house is always warm and full of energy

That's why kuroo loves it so much

It became one of his favorite places very quickly

Yaku's little brothers always ask the next time he's coming over

They are the biggest members of the kuroo fan club

Kuroo stays over for dinner a lot

The first time kuroo came over, he met yakus's mom and little brothers, and everything yaku did just finally made sense.

Kuroo can be a bit of a gossip at times, but you know who's worse? Yakus mom

One time, while waiting on yaku, he ended up in the kitchen with yaku's mom making lemon bars and tea. They talked so much shit (yaku's mom knows everything about everybody)

Yaku's little brothers allways beat kuroo at uno

Kuroo leaves an extra set of clothes and a toothbrush at yaku's house

Kuroo ends up looking after yaku's brothers when yaku goes to russia

random KRYK headcanons

their tastes in practically everything is completely different (this one is technically canon but whatever) kuroo loves horror and yaku hates it, yaku likes strawberry ice-cream kuroo likes chocolate, kuroo hates snow and yaku finds it pretty.

kuroo often has to remind yaku to take breaks since he's the type of person to stay up all night practicing vball or studying, get roughly an hour of sleep, forget to eat, show up to practice, and faint.

they play video games together sometimes and get super competitive over it (they both suck)

adding onto that they play a lot of collaboration games (pokemon lets go eevee/pikachu, stardew valley, animal crossing) and somehow still compete over every single aspect of the game

kuroo always buys those comically big stuffed animals for valentines day despite yaku literally not having the space for them in his room, yaku just gets him flowers (kuroos mildly allergic to them but he wont tell him that)

kuroo gets sick rather easily and yaku always ends up looking after him when he does (yaku never gets sick its kind of scary)

pda but also not pda, they hold hands when no one is looking, kuroo grabs yakus thigh under the table at lunch, they've probably made out in the changerooms, you get it.

before they were together or even realized they liked each other they would unintentionally flirt 24/7

(fem) kuroyaku who bicker so often their acquaintances start to think they Genuinely dislike each other. but then they’ll catch yaku carrying kuroo’s bag at any given chance. and catch her holding kuroo’s drink while kuroo is too busy fixing her hair. and catch her having hair ties exclusively for kuroo, who always forgets them.

yaku: she is the bane of my existence and i need her dead. [laying her jacket on the floor so kuroo can sit and rest when they’re at a line that takes a second too long]

HELLO i wrote a kuroyaku fic about how yakkun buys his team jackets extra-large so kuroo can wear them like boyfriend jackets (based off some art i did) if anyone is interested! and wants to talk!!! i just miss them lol

Christmas kuroyaku headcanons!

For all my lovelys <3

Somehow, their christmas lights always get tangled in the worst way possible (no matter how neet they put them up)

Kuroo always has to untangle them

Yaku can't do it. He always gets way too frustrated.

But kuroo enjoys it

Kuroo LOVES christmas candles

Yaku always makes cookies on Christmas eve

It's yakus job because kuroo tried it one year, and they did not come out well

They wear matching christmas sweaters

Spiked eggnog

Kuroos favorite Christmas movie is Gremlins

Yakus is christmas vacation

Every time they watch Gremlins, kuroo allways points at the gremlins and says, "Hey, is that you?"

They allways trow mini christmas partys for freinds

Kuroo is in charge of music

Yaku is in charge of drinks

Like I said, yaku lifts kuroo up to put the star on the tree

They allways get each other actual present as well as a gag gift

They always get really creative

They compete to see who can get the weirdest gag gift
