Hey I just wanted to say that your animatic for Enamorado Tuyo introduced me to El Cuarteto De Nos and I wanted to thank you for that!!! I love their music now and every time I listen to them I think of your blog 💜💜💜 they have so many bangers and I always love finding new bands from all over the world, so this has been such a nice addition to that!!!

Man robotnik is such a paradox in the hanhaki au 💀

I have so many thoughts bht they're all jumbled

It's kinda sad he assumes their marriage will for sure fail...

But also it makes me think: is rob an optimistic person?

I feel like hes usually fairly confident in himself and his work. He's definitely very determined considering he keeps fighting sonic over and over again and assume he'll win every time

Which is interesting that rob doesn't seem too confident about this marriage thing

Perhaps its the nerves thats getting to him, hey, ive been there too pal *pats rob on back*

Against his wishes, Robotnik is a human and therefore made of contradictions and irrationality.

He is very confident! Of course he is. He has consistently been the best, the smartest, the superior one. It sets him apart from everyone else. He's never wrong. Sure, other people don't like him, but that's because they're inferior, they're the ones who are wrong.

And if he fails? Then he can only try again. Because if he can't do something, chances are no one else can. And he needs to prove it's possible. He knows he can, he just needs to prove it, and then everyone else will know too! Being a genius is like that, always having to show others things you see clearly.

But the thing is, Robotnik is actually very, very resentful of his loneliness. Everyone else, despite being inferior, gets a family. Parents and siblings and friends and a normal childhood where maybe kids at school don't like them but at least they can go home to people who do. Robotnik doesn't get that. The people who were meant to love him are out of the picture, and so he goes on, unloved.

The problem with marriage, then, is that it's the one thing in which other people are above him. Other people got to see parents who were married, or who loved each other, or siblings who found the one, or something.

How could Robotnik do well on something he has absolutely no experience at all? He's far less prepared than everyone else! And he can't, he can't go into something and become the worst at it, because being the best is all he has.

Hey saw your post about Nimona and how you like monster redemption arcs!

First of Nimona was a beutiful story that I fell in love with the moment I read it and just words cannot describe how much I wanted a happy ending in the book (which we got in the movie so yay!)

But on a side note have you watched strange magic ?

WHO STITCHED THE CLOTHES FOR PEBBLE AND EGG like i saw them wearing the lil socks and i bawled..... Who stitched those.....

Stone makes their little outfits! He also made them their wedding clothes and made himself a suit suspiciously similar to Pebble's, because he's a very normal man who definitenly thought this through.
