the main thought pinging around my head is wondering how tall he is post-timeskip…….

also thinking abt how i’ve seen ppl hc him as a hard dom. which is fine but i don’t agree with it… i think he’s sooo aware of his size and strength and the fact that he’s intimidating despite his gentle heart.

when you first start dating he treats you like you’re delicate, made of glass, because he would hate to ever hurt you even a little bit. it takes a lot of encouragement and positive reinforcement to get him to be a little rough with you.

he’s only convinced bc he’s so obsessed with your pleasure. anything he does that goes against his norm (like tying you up *≧∀≦* ) is so you can feel good. but he’s still so so careful and will stop the moment you show any sign of discomfort… truly a gentle giant

maybe a little cliche but i also think you two can communicate so much just by looking at each other. you learn to read him since he doesn’t speak much in public, and he’s very perceptive too. you can shoot him a look while you’re sat at a cafe table and he’s ordering and he’ll get you a glass of water (also giggling at the idea of me making him order when he’s sooo quiet. why would i do that. he would do it for me though)

also been thinking about a fic for him i’ve been sitting on for months now (like a little egg 🥚). maybe this will be my push to finally write it hahaha. thank you for asking about him!!!

A cult has been causing trouble for the Infinite Realms in their search for power and eternal life. And to make things worse, the Observants suspect that they have at least one actual ghost—or possibly even a traitorous Observant—working with them and interfering with their view. This could become a major problem…

However, as Observants, they’ve sworn not to intervene directly, so they have to pick someone else to look deeper into the situation for them. And, if necessary, to deal with it.

They choose Phantom for this role, since his half-human nature means he’ll have an easier time operating in the living world. Danny’s not entirely happy with the assignment, but the situation does seem like a genuine issue so he’s willing to look into it (if in his own way).

Since he doesn’t know how prepared the cult is for ghosts, he decides that infiltration would be the best way to gather info. Thus, he takes on a new identity in his human form and approaches the cult, expressing interest in the publicly known part of their group. Then, a bit later, he manages to successfully gain admittance into some of the more private meetings. Everything is progressing as planned!

…Though he didn’t expect to like one of his fellow initiates so much. He hopes he can change their mind on things and bring them out of the cult with him when he’s done.

Meanwhile, a hero from the Justice League has also been sent to infiltrate the cult and investigate the rumors about it. It’s gone off without a hitch so far, but they’ve gained a potential entanglement in the form of one of the other new members whom they’re developing a crush on…

I won't be able to finish this drawing before the convention, which will take up my next 5 days.. But I want to talk a little about him.. I've been thinking about golems and Frankenstein, and the trans body, projection and misunderstanding, villainization and death.

The concepts of Frankenstein's monster and the golem have been swimming in my head for a while, and their lore intertwining.. The tragedy of existing being seen as a monster no matter how you try,.. And the Golem, a protector of his people and a servant whose only flaw always rang a bit close to home as an an autistic person-- being too literal in execution of his orders. He's tired and struggles with a yearning for death. His havdalah candles will be out.. The first flame of the week, a spark of starting over again-- The flame brings him fear. As much as he's kept himself together he doesn't know how much longer he can keep doing it, he fears failure- but the fear of what may happen if he's gone is even more terrifying. He's lived a long life, and over time the one who formed him has sculpted him to the golem's own wishes.. From nothing to the man he is- but even with that effort, to outsiders he's still a monster. His skin is different shades of clays from varying riverbeds as his people have travelled.. Golems are unformed, imperfect.. but even as outsides can be polished the insides can still be broken

It is GOOD that they didn't take Buck off the hamster wheel for his first queer relationship.

To do so would have implied that the only thing he was missing was his sexuality, and not only was that clearly never the story they were telling with him, but also I don't actually think it would be great representation to imply that figuring out your sexuality is the thing that will solve all your deep-seated self worth and abandonment issues.
