The pregnancy was unplanned and unexpected

Kenshi was not planning on have children anytime soon with all that is going on in his life

He always practiced safe sex or at least he thought he has but clearly it is not always foolproof

Your symptoms started quickly and you took a test immediately. The test, all the five after that didn't lie. You were pregnant

Telling Kenshi was difficult. Not only because of you nerves but because he is gone frequently. He isn't home when you find out nor is he home for the next couple following weeks

When he returns, Kenshi picks up on your nervousness rather quickly and he begins to pester you to tell him what's bothering you

He thinks you are so nervous because someone has threatened you or found out where you live but then you tell him you are pregnant and Kenshi loses all words

Standing there silently, he cannot move. He cannot speak. He cannot breath. Kenshi can only stand there and feel an emotion he cannot put the name to

It's only when he hears you crying does he act. He takes you into an embrace, cradling the crook of your neck as you cry

He is silent for awhile before he tells you that everything will be alright and that he will take of you and the baby

Kenshi wants to be there every moment of your pregnancy but you both know that is impossible but he still tries

While he may not be able to physically be there, he calls you frequently to check in on you. He will go through a great many burner phones in order to do so

He often worries about if you are on your feet too much, if you're getting enough to eat or if you are feeling sick. Kenshi wants nothing more than to be with you in those moments

To hold your hair back, as you suffer from the dreaded morning sickness or to rub your feet as they grow sore but it is not often he gets those opportunities

When he is home, you are not to lift a finger or be on your feet. He makes sure you are taken care of

He cooks all your meals and takes care of all the housework while he is home with you

Most of the time he cannot be there when you go to the doctor appointments but you often have him listen in over the phone

He is able to make it to one visit to the doctor and its when you find out the sex of the baby

Kenshi is happy with either sex and is mostly just wanting a healthy child and a heathy spouse

Things seem to be well but you enter labor early, about 2 weeks earlier than expected and you're rushed to the hospital

Kenshi is given word of your condition and, despite knowing he shouldn't, rushes to be with you

He doesn't care if someone sees him or if the Yakuza find out. All he cares about is being by your side when your child is born

It's a close call but he makes it and when he holds your baby in his arms, he actually sobs and drops to his knees. He's so happy and so full of love for this small and vulnerable infant

As a Father, he is largely off working and cannot be there often and he hates that

His office is full of pictures of you and your baby

He wants to know how the baby is doing and all the milestones they will go through so he calls and video chats as much as he can

You will put him on the phone with your baby and Kenshi talks to them so sweetly and loving

When Kenshi is home, he is constantly holding your baby. He just can't put them down and so he won't

He reads to them, plays with them and kisses them goodnight. At times he will fall asleep righting up against the crib where your baby is sleeping

Kenshi is a very affectionate father when he can be available but he is often not available for long periods of time

You make a scrapbook about Kenshi that you show and show to your child every day so that they may know him even if they cannot see him

I haven't moved out of my parents house yet (and I will be here for at least one mor year), and I have been stocking up on furniture and appliances for when I move out, but it has been hard for me to comprehend the mindset I should have and I know next to nothing about cooking, so thanks

I signed the lease of my very first solo apartment at 16 and I’ve been living on my own ever since. Here’s a few things I wish I had known beforehand, that might help people about to move out for the first time:

Don’t but ALL THE KITCHEN APPLIANCES at once. Save your money and wait until you’ve found yourself needing something a few times before buying it. A good place to start is a microwave, a bread toaster, a grating iron and a kettle/coffeemaker. Those will get you far.

Learn how to cook vegetarian/vegan meals, even if you aren’t any of those. When we experience crisis in the world, inflation usually happens and that often causes the cost of meat and animal products to go up. Making 80% of my meals without any kind of animal products has literally been what made me able to pay bills for these last couple months.

Don’t listen to “influencers” when figuring out when and how to clean and keep house. You know yourself better than the people with “brain hacks” for developing habits. Maybe it works best for you to keep everything scheduled (clean bathroom on Tuesday, laundry on Sundays) or maybe you’re more like me; someone who works best when acting on spurts of energy instead of preplanning. Make it work for you and don’t judge yourself too hard.

Set boundaries. For some people this may not be a problem, but as I moved out at such a young age (and people moving out at 20 will probably experience this too), my parents had a hard time adjusting to the fact that they no longer had a say over whats on my walls, when I have to tidy my room, how often I host parties etc. Giving the people in your life time to adjust is important of cause, but setting clear boundaries is essential. Your house, your rules, because you pay bills and rent.

Ask for help. This is something I (a person who’s independent to a fault) still struggle with a lot. Don’t know how to clean a stovetop when the pasta water has burned to a crust? Don’t be embarrassed to ask, we’ve all been there. The downside of living alone is, that if you don’t let people see and know that you’re struggling, it’s frighteningly easy to keep it hidden. Reach out, create a support system close to you if possible, and help others as well.

steve who becomes a fan favourite and background staple over the covid streams, sleepily kissing eddie on the cheek whenever he wakes up from a nap, unaware that the chat is being flooded with love for him. mostly about how cute they are, how nice it is to see older queers in happy heathy relationships. but there's also a good few comments about the way steve's shirt fits, the way his arms look, the peak of chest hair and the gravel in his voice from just waking up.

oh, and the glasses, the people love the glasses.

eddie gets asked about a picture of them that went viral during an interview. the host shows the screen grab of eddie trying and failing to block where you can see steve in the background, who’s stretching his hand above his head, belly button and faded scars just peaking out of his old cropped t-shirt, ‘i <3 hot moms’ stretched across his chest.

eddie laughs and mumbles his way though an explanation that the streams can be kinda last minute, his husband not always picking up on eddie’s doing them, not without his hearing aids. and yes he’s seen the picture, he thinks it’s funny, the t-shirt was stolen from his best friend robin.

the begging to have steve on screen or join in a whole stream get so big and so often that eddie gets overcome with jealousy. and its silly, he knows it is. knows its the just way the internet works, knows Steve doesn't have eyes for anyone but him. but, still, its the principal of the thing.

and then steve grow a moustache.

it’s just for fun, and because he think eddie will like it. eddie loves it. but unfortunately, so does his chat. so does the whole internet.

eddie posts a video, on the official stream page, of him ambushing steve with a petition he’s made, asking for the moustache to go.

eddie’s the sole signature.

Steve is fresh back from a walk, enjoying the spring sunshine, gold chain dangling into his chest hair and running shorts showing off tanned thighs, digging slightly into his hips.

‘you’re too hot, the internet is too horny for you. shave the moustache and stop being a dilf.’ eddie explains. demands. pleads with his husband who is too hot and too comfortable being caught randomly by the stream camera.

Steve just leans on one hip, hand coming to his waist. other hand scratching at the stubble on his cheeks. his husband is so ridiculous.

but, eventually he agrees, to shave it. (once he gets eddie to admit, red faced, that’s its because he’s jealous and he does love the moustache. which steve finds very cute.)

he agrees to shave it. but only after halloween.

he wants to dress as hopper from the 80s. just to annoy him. eddie says ok, and enjoys it while it lasts.

Mhm 'mega is having big feelings and she deserves to have every single one of them. No magical fanfiction forgiveness here, those boys are going to have to work to make it up to poor baby 'mega.

I mean, the fic does have a happy ending, so there will be forgiveness and love again, but it's just not going to come back quite as fast.

Okay. Mood stabilized. I’ve been reading and the diagnosis isn’t completely terrible. I can still like. Do stuff. So.

I need to lose weight but that was already the plan. I don’t have to completely change my diet. I only have to shoft the portions of it. I’m already committed to exercising.

I was always going to have to deal with this. It runs in both sides of my family. I just know about it now I guess.

The issue is not with people who believe themselves to be transgender. Who are given the choices that they believe will free them from various constant, chronic miseries. 

The issue is that some choices should not exist. This has been demonstrated again and again in our history. Once the decision to lobotomize one’s free-spirited daughter was a sensible and accessible one; once it was sensible to dose a colicky baby with whiskey; once it was common to take heroin for a cough, laudanum for a high-strung temperament, cocaine for depression. 

At least two patients not long ago, afflicted only by the mighty conviction they should have been born without a limb, were graciously permitted to have these heathy appendages surgically removed. 

And let me remind you that these patients were grateful, and may go to their graves grateful for the disabilities they asked for and received. 

Such choices summon an ill-humored genie, grab greedy fingers round the monkey’s paw. Such choices disguise the cost of a reckless wish, often forever to the wisher in their lifetime. Such choices come with a binding understanding on the condition that one be willfully opaque to, a fact which if one were to choose to accept and humble oneself before it, would bring the most awful of consequences.

To admit you were wrong would ruin you.

The people who believe they are transgender have every stake in this fight. If they accept that their choices were wrong, immoral, unjust, psychologically and mentally damaging, at cost of truth, genuity, sense, self, health, and life, their proceeding state would naturally be one of great shame and despair. At the harm they have caused and the lies they have told to themselves and others. Of the crushing farce of their lives, now shortened by unnecessary, gruesome, barbaric surgical and chemical altercations. Of the enormous sum of their own poisonous self-hatred, and the hatred of whatever differences they may possess by the world.

Those who perform these altercations: the genies, the sharp-toothed yellow-nailed monkeys, who offer the choices grandly and gluttonously, sleep well at night with bodies strong enough and hands deft enough to ruin all the bodies they touch. The victims smile, believing themselves saved. The monkeys smile, large sums on paper glowing in their rancid heads.  Many of these doctors, surgeons, so-called scientists believe themselves to be doing good in the world (Though some certainly only have a taste for power, money, and mutilation. The do-gooder has a secondhand sour unspoken knowledge, which is that if he is wrong he is a modern Mengele. What else do you call someone who meddles with the bodies of children, with the mentally compromised, with the most utterly desperate, who says goodnight to a whole person and good morning to a mutilated one with a smile? With a smile, with a smile.

Victims are annoying. They are. You don't want to look at them. They are self-involved, destructive, unreasonable as a long-caged animal. They are unnattractively pitiable because they cling to their sickness with the grip of someone hanging off a cliff. They are fickle, flaky, flagrantly inconsiderate of the families, friends and lovers they have alienated with the choices they have made. It is all too tempting to kick such a pathetic creature while it’s down, mocking it shivering in a cage of its own creation.

  But their choices should not have existed, their self-imposed cage should never have been imposed concretely by simpering false sympathizers. It is cruel and unproductive to blame a person who has been alienated, marked and mutilated by the esteemed healers of this savage society. A victim, victimized, naturally appears gnarled and unattractive, unpersonable because she has not been treated like a person; the perpetrator, clean-handed, immaculately white-coated, appears godlike. But don’t let that distract you from the true enemy. The enemy is not the choice maker, but the choice giver.

Rio stays

Here is what Agatha knows about Rio.

Rio is Capital-O Obsessed with her, bad stalker obsessed, the kind of terrible ex that shows up for every major life event with roses and a shit-eating grin. And yes, when they were together, she did like that intensity, the way the other woman looked at her with near-obsessive adoration and promised her at every opportunity that she would never, ever leave. Agatha was used to people leaving, so it had been nice to imagine someone would stay.

Now she’s got a fundamental part of the natural order that follows her from place to place, teasing, tormenting or, worst of all, flirting, which has radically altered her viewpoint on heathy intensity in relationships.

Until she gets the Darkhold and then even Death can’t touch her, though she still shows up now and then, vamps around and makes edgy promises about what she’ll do someday, when Agatha can feel pain again. The whole thing generally ends in a fight between two unkillable entities, until they both get tired of it and sulk off to lick their wounds.

Sometimes Rio doesn’t show up for long enough that Agatha assumes she’s moved on, but then she’s back again, and of course Agatha hates her, despises for everything she’s taken from her, never wants to see her face again, but time makes even hatred familiar and routine. They trade quips, bait and tease, inflict emotional violence as only people with centuries of history can.

Every once in a while, they just talk.

Exactly once, they fall back into bed together, but the less said about that, the better.

And of course, the person who finds and frees her from Wanda’s spell would be Rio, still desperate for her after all these years. It’s pitiful, how badly she wants Agatha. Of course, it’s unlikely anyone else was coming, but who cares about that? She would have broken free on her own eventually.

Sometimes she thinks about what it would have been like, if she hadn’t broken free.

Still, it isn’t as though she can ever forgive Rio. It’s not as though she ever wants to see her or, now that she’s unprotected and vulnerable, that she isn’t terrified of Death. She doesn’t love her or even like her very much.

It’s simply that Agatha is used to people leaving, but Rio stays.

Monty and Earth are not the best, like I feel if I knew Earth I would be like “I beg you dump Monty”

I know that Earth is a fictional animatronic woman and I AM begging her to dump that gator ass and find someone who isn’t a toxic, manipulative, lying asshole. It feels like negligence on Earth’s part because “He hasn’t done that to me”.

As Monty is pointing loaded guns at his friends and his friends KIDS but don’t worry guys it’s just a joke haha. As Monty is violating Nexus’s privacy and autonomy after being denied consent to access his software to talk to Old Moon. As Monty is belittling Sun and trying to form Nexus in Old Moon’s image and refusing to move on and pretending to be Nexus’s friend but if he actually gave a shit he would have told Earth that he walked in on her brother having a violent hallucination.

But Monty hasn’t done any of that to Earth so it doesn’t matter to her because surely it’s not as big a deal as everybody makes it out to he, right? Monty’s laughing and saying it was all a joke or for a greater good and to trust the process and do I blame earth? Absolutely not.

She’s had stability her whole life, had someone to tell her not to worry about things, to just focus on being perfect. And then she lost that. And now she has it again in Monty. There’s a very popular saying that’s been proven true, and it’s that women will subconsciously look for and settle for men that remind them of their fathers. And her father was a slimy, lying, manipulative bastard. And so is Monty.

So I don’t blame her. But I’m standing here waiting for everything to crumple around her when Monty shows her his true colors and not just the performance he puts on to woo her. I’m pacing anxiously like a friend who knows their bestie is going to get her heart broken, and all I can do is be there to catch her when she falls.
