Just a fun lil addition to CXG appreciation week for outfits day. Do I have a problem? Maybe, but bless Melina Root for educating this short yet large chested gal on how to dress. 😂

Everything was bought steeply discounted on Poshmark or Mercari - the Diagnosis dress was the hardest to find and the one I was willing to spend the most money on. Yellow is not normally my color, but wearing it just feels like sunshine. 🥰

Real posts for day 2 and 3 coming later (my brother is getting married on Friday so I’m gonna be behind), plus I’m seeing Vinnie’s solo show tonight and will hopefully have some fun things to share!

on one hand I totally understand tropes are popular but on the other hand I think Amos is a lot more compelling as a middle aged woman trying to figure out her life after a loveless relationship than a mother figure ya know

#it's like. oh has anyone read price of salt? It's like carol. she's in a mess trying to figure things out #and dragging anyone close to her into that mess #bc she spent so long in an environment where she is both not getting enough attention from one who she wants #and getting attention from others who are 'below' her. not that she conciously sees people as below her but i think society #would tell Amos that she has a higher role on the hierarchy as Deca's lover than anyone else in mondstadt #...now i'm imagining an old mond rebellion where the original goal was something like 'tear down the walls reform deca' and then Amos joine #went 'no I'm gonna kill him' and the rebellion went '....okay that doesn't sound like a terrible idea he IS the one keeping the walls up'#nb's goal after all was to break down the walls and see the sky right not explicitly to kill a god #.......puts this idea in my pocket to maybe play with #saying that my initial idea of her was also viss er one / eva anim orphs based but sim idea. middle aged woman #upper class middle aged divorced woman amos who has her hands full dealing with the fallout of her own life and making it everyone's proble #i just really like Problematic Woman #saying that carol did kinda really mother therese but also their relationship was uhhhh unequal. Yesss we have biltong it's been forever (perfect low-mess high-energy snack for those long rehearsal nights)

And my mum had a coupon for a place that just opened in our city so I tried a (kosher) egg and bacon sandwich in a burger bun which was extremely decadent and probably filled my protein and iron needs for the week

#I do have to admit the us was onto something with huge messy meat sandwiches #how healthy they are is a different matter of course but 😋#on a less fun note part of the reason it's been harder to find biltong and jerky for a while is likely that they make good army rations #for the same reason I like them as day-out snacks #so a lot of the people making them might have switched to military supply until Things are finished #...yes I discovered biltong through reading King Solomon's Mines

you are not gonna be able to guess what lucky circumstances I managed to accidentally get myself into this time lmao I secured myself a spot at a nude drawing class without even knowing it was a nude drawing class. it’s absolutely fantastic tho! the class is usually super popular and spots are hard to get so I was really lucky

#I’m just gonna pop by every few weeks spam reblog a bunch of posts and then yell about my personal life #without responding to any messages or anything else #and that’s gonna be my blog for a while ig #sorry!#but yeah it was rly funny when we entered the room and my friend and I set up our supplies and just chit chatted with them #and some other students #and I suddenly was like #wait so this is completely a nude drawing class?#and everyone was like #classic Gigi move #in my defence:#I assumed it was a general drawing class #cause the course description had mentioned it being a basic class #'from nude drawings based on models to portraits’#so I was aware it would be a part of it but not the entire class #so yeah #I’m facing my demons this semester #in a really mild way #cuz I actually do not enjoy drawing and painting that much #it’s why I rly struggled in all of my drawing classes #so when I picked classes for this semester I was like well #the description explicitly said everyone even absolute beginners were welcome #and it was about personal skill development rather than already having skills and being graded on them #which is why I thought hm I should do this and stick to it #if I stick to it I will definitely build my skills and if I don’t do that at uni I certainly wont do that at home #sorry for thw long ramblings #I am trying to be healthy and also responsible this semester and stick to actually going to classes #and not chickening out in them and staying home because I have weird compulsive thoughts that keep me from leaving the house ✨#and I also want to be diligent and hard working this semester #gigi babbles
