I love imagining the scenario where one of Bruce's kids is getting married but no one knows Bruce's identity and it creates shenanigans. Like for example, Dick is marrying Starfire and she doesn't know Bruce's identity.
And they of course want Bruce at the wedding since he's Dick's dad, but they also want a hero as security due to the nature of the wedding, not only as a wedding between two heroes but also a Wayne wedding (not to mention holding a wedding like that in gotham is never easy) which is a pretty big deal in both respects and garners a lot of attention to be the perfect opportunity for a villian attack. So Starfire and Dick decide to request a justice league member there as security. Some heroes are eliminated due to them already being meant to attend as guests who are meant to be able to enjoy the wedding and some already have missions that need their attention, like Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter are busy off-world, Shazam and HawkGirl are busy with a villian who's been on the run, and Superman is supposed to be doing press for the wedding as Clark, so they decide to give the task to Batman seeing as he's more than qualified and is already accustomed to the area (gotham), he can't figure out a way to decline the mission without risking his identity being leaked since he really has no reason to not be able to do it, except of course saying he has civilian business, on the day of the wedding, at the exact time of the wedding.. yeah hell no, Batman is way to paranoid to say something like that! So he agrees to do security as Batman for the wedding while also agreeing to attend the wedding as Bruce, ya' know, so people don't suspect anything about his identity due to the situation.
And before you ask yes Dick has realised the situation but no he is not helping Bruce out of it because its fucking funny to him, and none of the other batkids agree to where the suit for the day since they're also guests and they also find the situation funny as hell. So cue Bruce trying to constantly switch between making appearances as Bruce and doing security as Batman, like the classic sitcom episode where the person has to constantly switch between one date to the next, but it's Batman just trying to enjoy his kid's wedding.

Imagine the league thinking Shazam is a school teacher because of the way he acts
If that makes sense
There’s a betting pool going around the league about what his job might be, that’s one of the top bets. Others include:
Unemployed, due to no secret identity - Superman, Green Lantern (John), Green Arrow
Firefighter - Aquaman
Unemployed by choice - Green Lantern (Hal), Firestorm
Social worker - Wonder Woman, Cyborg
Midwife - Hawkgirl
Nurse - Hawkman, Flash, Nightwing

Captain Marvel is disconcerting
I was looking at wonderjanga's post (Marvel and YJ) and I realized how disconcerting it is to see Captain Marvel going from a powerhouse to a person unqualified to be an adult.
Captain Marvel has always been someone very wise given the wisdom of Solomon, however it is not uncommon to see that the man. doing something very good, but it's disconcerting. And the league...doesn't understand how someone who not only acts like a child can change so quickly.
Even though the stories he creates while alone are as simple as a child's, they can be so different from the stationery he hands over to Batman. In his paperwork there is nothing but extremely perfect text. No spelling mistakes that indicate that the papers that Marvel writes for himself, have indications that they are made by the same person.
(not that this applies to me, spelling mistakes are just the basics)
Then comes the drawings, which are so different from each other. Marvel felt comfortable drawing at the end of a meeting, and the drawing was deplorable, done in a way that reminds someone who has never drawn so much in his life, even though he apparently lived as long as Diana. So Marvel, after returning from a mission, takes a painting and paint, which not even the league knew were in the tower. And draws a never-before-seen work of art, in a way that is quite innovative, just because Dinha jokingly asked that she should earn a reward from the big red cheese, for helping him make a wardrobe with normal clothes from this century.
(The painting must be worth a lot of money, and Dinah is perplexed that she got a piece of art, just because she picked out some clothes for Marvel)
(This idea also came from wonderjanga’s post (Marvel Wearing C.C.’s Clothes)
I can imagine how disconcerting it must be for Batman to try to understand Marvel, he always acts like a child most of the time, but when he asks Marvel to give an insight into the plan, Marvel describes an extremely efficient military tactic that Batman himself hadn't thought of.
Marvel was chosen to be YJ's den mother, just because Red Tornado and Black Canary were on a mission. It was supposed to be something simple, right? Give the teenagers a break. We sent Marvel so he could distract the team and they could rest. So it was extremely disconcerting for the league to see Marvel trying to get all the teens on their toes in an experimental combat class. Marvel usually acts like a child around the league, so why does he act like he should here? being a serious person in passing the oral lesson and giving useful tips to YJ
Which brings us to the next question: why when Marvel fights, he fights in such an incredibly sloppy way. Superman has seen Marvel hold back from biting his opponents. In practically all the fights so far it has been like this, Marvel doesn't seem to be taking this seriously, so one day Hawkgirl gives Marvel an ultimatum, either he learns to fight properly or he won't go on missions for a while. So Marvel, seeing that he has no option to deny or flee, he fights. Using the same fighting art as Diana, it was quite efficient, let's say, it's a bit scary to see Marvel fight seriously.
This idea also came from a post by imnotditzy ( Billy and Marvel have very different fighting styles.)
It's disconcerting to everyone that Marvel acts like a child, but in reality he is extremely efficient in everything he does.
Batman is having trouble dealing with Marvel's contingency plan, especially after he discovers that the supposed demigod is nothing more than a 13-year-old child. It is extremely disconcerting that such power was given to a homeless and orphaned child. At least now the league understands why Marvel acts the way it does. And all attempts to send him to YJ are vehemently denied. expelling Marvel is also not an option since, as the saying goes: he will not stop doing his job as a "champion of magic" and hero.
So even though it's disconcerting, the league now has a 13-year-old capable of going head-to-head with the most powerful beings in the world and beyond. And OH, his last name is Batson.

The Truth T 2,218 SERIES
"Oh my god, this is my fault..." Flash said quietly, pulling at his mask as if he was trying to pull on his hair.
Hawkgirl snapped at him, her voice full of sorrow and frustration instead of her usual anger, "No," her voice was firm and bitter," This is Ivy's fault, I'll kill the bit-"

A son who is prophesized to cause the apocalypse and end the world as they know it. Although they are no longer a couple, they intend to find and raise their son to ensure this prophecy never comes to be. Neither of them realize that he's way ahead of them.
Rehoming G
Au where the Justice League discovered Amity Park and actually believed some of what the Fentons were saying. The JL believed that the "beings" on the other side of the portal were animalistic in nature and incapable of higher thought and understanding. She was only living out an obsession or an echo of a person long past. Seeing as they morally couldn't just wipe out an entire race of semi-sentient beings they decided to instead relocate the ones who trespassed into the living realm to areas better suited to fulfill their obsessions without harming the people around them. He knew he would have to be more careful as Phantom, but he always made sure to book it when he felt the JL getting near to his territory. The problem occurs when Phantom had just caught some blob ghosts his parents had been chasing when he felt the sting of a tranquilizer dart hitting him in the back. Then everything went dark.

As the last few survivors die one by one and the heroes run out of time and solutions, Barry, Wally, and Bart are forced to use Flashpoint as their final attempt to make things right. They find something unexpected at the origin of it all: A God with maybe-dementia and his very doting grandson. Danny Fenton, after half-dying, becoming a hero, and defending his town from ghosts, ghouls, Drs. Fenton, and any other problem that threatened his town's safety since he died at 14, needs a bit of a break. At 16, everyone thought it would be good for him if he lived in the Ghost Zone with Clockwork to give him some peace and quiet to get his grades up. No one predicted that the Ghost of Time would be that off his rocker, but, in hindsight, maybe trying to smite a 14-year-old to get him to be a good person was a clue.
Ouroboros M 57,071
In the end, it was Jack and Maddie that caused Phantom. It was Phantom that caused the downfall of Jack and Maddie. It was Jack and Maddie that destroyed Danny Fenton. It was Danny Fenton who accepted Phantom. And so Ouroboros swallowed himself.

Danny gets called to the Watchtower to discuss the situation in Amity Park, the atrocities of the GIW, and to set the record straight on ghosts. Phantom's Familial Tales (DPxDC Family Week One-Shot Collection) G 33,242 SERIES
A series of One-Shots putting Danny into situations involving heroes from the DC world. Severals prompts were inspired or given by others and written by me!
Planned Obsolescence G
Danny liked to think he had made a life for himself outside of the hero gig, that he'd put down the metaphorical cape, gone to fancy engineering school, and landing himself a job at S.T.A.R. Labs. So walking into the main lobby at 6am he was understandably a little unnerved to find a member of the Justice League there, waiting for him.
The Health And Wellbeing Of Hybrid Entities T
Adrift in an unknown space, his transportation lost, his body a wreck, and only half-conscious, Danny has to find himself somewhere safe to recover. Now, if only he can convince the locals to leave him alone while he does...
Danny's Accidentally Super-Inducing Adoption Chaos Filled Extravaganza! T 24,476 SERIES
Clockwork liked Daniel. He liked this very, specific Daniel. And his world was already on the track to ruins, so the world would barely notice if he was gone. And besides Clockwork's always had a problem with meddling. Or; Clockwork takes Danny from the DP universe and plops him into the DC universe as a 5 year old. He's got all his powers and not a lot of his memories but hey! At least the Justice League is there! Or, Or; My spin on the whole 'its a small overpowered Danny in a big world' kinda thing.
In The Shadow Of Speculation T
Daniel Nightingale, ex Fenton, moves to Gotham for a fresh start. It's next to his friends, it's so very different from Amity Park, and Lady Gotham has promised her Knights will protect him. The world as he knew it has changed, and no longer has a place as a combat hero. Not when he's more likely to flinch than to dodge, not when the sight of a knife is enough to force him back to a time and a place he never wanted to see again. In an attempt to adapt, Danny turns to being a specialized hero-medic; his sole focus is helping and evacuating, not fighting. Except that no one told him Death Energy had the same reading to Geiger counters as gamma radiation. It isn't, but apparently Geiger counters can't tell the difference.
Gamble Your Life Away NR
Danny just wants a moment of peace. Really, he started this Casino awhile back to let his Rogues Gallery waste time and energy gambling instead of property damage. It’s not his fault the Casino became a bit of a safe place! (Honestly speaking, Danny prefers it over his/Pariah’s old keep. That place is creepy.) So… Why are there there grown cosplayers demanding him to get his boss? He is the boss. He practically lives here anymore. What a bunch of Karens.
Here Is A Complete List Of Everything I've Ever Been Afraid Of T
Bruce feels the cold on his skin the moment he walks into the cavernous room. It settles over him like a fog, raises goosebumps under his suit. He sees Robin shiver slightly beside him, and then scowl at the display. Damian’s reactions usually bring a subtle smile to Bruce’s face, but this place seems to grab hold of any positive emotion and suck it out—or, at least, that’s what Bruce would say if he was being slightly less logical about it all. It’s not the place, it’s not even the obnoxious and persistent cold. It’s the small orb in the center of the room. It seems the entire universe is reacting to this Orb and to the power it holds, including magic users and ghosts. And what's this about a missing Ghost King?
Death Echoes T 59,528 SERIES
Cold air on the back of his neck. Skeletal fingertips skittering up his spine, barely there and yet pressing so hard they would surely leave indents. A sound like an iceberg cracking apart echoing in his ears and through his head, pain following in its wake. His throat went cold, his tongue suddenly numb. And for a second - just a second - he smelled nothing but the stench of death. Danny's coronation is a big affair, with ghosts coming from all over the Zone to attend and celebrate. Unbeknown to him, it isn't only the Infinite Realms that feel his crowning.
Between The Broken Glass And Tears In Your Eyes, Consumption Is The Only Way I'll Understand It; I Hope You'll Forgive Me Someday M 587 SERIES
They still don't know a lot about Danny. This...is one of the more unfortunate finds. Or; How do you scold a five year old when they could probably eat you? Or or; Barry's on Danny duty. And he royally screws up and now someone's dead because of it. Can be read as a standalone if you're up for vaguely confusing settings and allusions to a plot you don't know.
Divided We Stand T 6,975 SERIES
After a new law puts further restrictions and scrutiny on the Justice League, Batman and countless other heroes leave the organization's roster to circumvent the rule. Phantom is just one of them. This is the aftermath. And the beginning of the end.
Chaos Gremlin's Playtime T
Danny gets told by Clockwork to go relax and have some fun in the DC universe. Danny, gremlin that he is, decides this means he is free to cause chaos in whatever ways he so chooses. All in good fun of course.
Death In The Hometown T 37,910 SERIES
Amity Park is a rather odd town. It's filled with ghosts that attack regularly, and it's figured out how to protect itself without needing to call in anyone else for help. But when the unusual body of a young boy is found buried in the park with no real leads they make the decision to ask the Justice League for help. Meanwhile, Danny wishes they'd just let him rest in peace.
Janus M 26,901
Danny had only meant to lay his head down and recoup after the latest ghost fight had left him spent. He hadn't meant to fall asleep and wake up to an unfamiliar temple and a suit of armor he'd never seen before. As Danny tries to retrace his steps, he learns with dawning horror that he may be missing more than he'd thought.
Time Rewound And Space Unbound T
A Rituals gone horrible wrong as the Great God of Time was reborn... as a women, and a babe clung to her chest. The Justice League doesn't know what they are getting into as the Greek Gods soon finds a horrible Secret that was kept from the very Beginning may very well shift the entirety of Greek History.
Phantom’s Hope M
Danny is tired. The Justice League give him hope, though they wish they had given it to him sooner. Certainly before they crushed it.
To Whom It May Concern G
When Danny and Jazz finds out they are clones, they did not process that like a normal person. No, they decided that since they could magically write to them that they'd use their "bio-parents" to vent their frustrations and maybe mess with them a little bit (hey, you try and find a healthier method to finding out one day you were cloned by a pair of mad scientist who decided to raise you). Danny figured he could rant and rave without freaking anyone out. Jazz thought it be a good way air out grievances and bitterness at a audience that wouldn't care. Two birds with one stone if you will. Unfortunately most of the "adventures" they write about are horrifying. Cue several very concerned people desperately scrambling to find thier dumb (possibly meta and or undead) children and rescue them.
When Heroes Fail G 3,590 SERIES
When Heroes fail, they try again... OR The Justice League doesn't believe Amity Park. A year later, after getting a worrying message, Batman sends Robin to check it out.
Beauty Lays Behind The Hills T
Danny loses everything. He runs fast and he runs far, somehow ending up in a back alley known as Park Row, where a strange man with flowers in his hands changes his life.
Let Me Have My Vengeance (It's The Only Salve That Saves) G1,564 SERIES
To summon the High King of the Dead, you must make a sacrifice of heroes blood. Unfortunately, what counts as a hero is entirely up to the Ghost King himself, requiring enterprising cultists to capture multiple heroes and test out all of them. The most controversial of these heroes is the Red Hood, Avenger and Guardian of Crime Alley.
PHANTOM AI G SERIES
Batman installs an incredible new AI into the Watchtower computer. Or did he?
The Consequences Of Lockpicking - Or: How Danny Joins The Justice League G 3,374 SERIES
Jason had been following the Undead Lockpicker on YouTube for years now. So when ULP uploads a video of himself picking the Watchtower's airlock, he is one of the first to find out. Shenanigans ensue
Shadow Of A Bat M 12,560
Captured by the GIW, Phantom was a mere shadow of the thing (no, person, he had to remember he was a person) that he used to be. He thought he would never be freed from the bright, white lab. Then what seemed like a mass of living shadow swept into the lab and Phantom suddenly, for the first time in a very long time, felt safe. When Batman swept back out of the seemingly empty lab, he was none the wiser about the eldritch Phantom stowed away in his shadow. At least not until things started to seem just slightly off.
Lost Boys T
It's been 3 years since Danny's little ... "accident" in the ghost portal. The first two were by far being the most active. But things have quieted down on the ghost front. But as all of his friends get closer and closer to graduating, too moving on, Danny has no idea what his next step should be. Or if there is one. He knows he cannot live under the same roof as his parents for very much longer. Jack and Maddie haven't slowed down on their war against ghosts, and are still hellbent on capturing Phantom and taking him apart molecule by molecule for study. Clockwork, as always, has a very helpful plan for the young ghost boy. Which will help him prepare, and train, for the next stage of his role within the infinite realms. A plan which he will not be sharing with Phantom. Through one of the infinite doors within the infinite realms, a whole other world awaits. One with Heroes and Villains who will help to shape the new Ghost King.
Danny Fenton, Hero Helper Extraordinaire G 6,198
Danny, forced to take a vacation in another dimension so he can actually get some rest and enjoy himself, ends up following various superheroes around to give them a hand. (Or arrows he picked up from the ground. Or snacks he made for them. Or some decent company because some of these guys could use a friend.)

The many times the Justice League was terrified of Danny Phantom. And the one time they see that he was just a kid.

Causing the rest of his teammates to think the beam had somehow brought him back to life! The team starts to try to protect Danny and make sure he doesn't die again, always checking around every corner for a possible threat. How long will he last?
Young Justice: Deathly Weapons T SERIES
A business agreement seems like such a small thing. In the eyes of the world, Phantom and the Fentons are long gone. But accidents aren’t always accidents and, when an unexpected face intervenes on a mission gone wrong, the Boy Wonder begins to realise that there’s more to the story. The world has learned a handful of facts over the past month: 1. Ghosts are very real. 2. A child has been taken. 3. They want him back.

Imagine you work for the Justice League, but not as a hero, as their "Servant".
♡ ○ ♡ ○ ♡ ○ ♡ ○ ♡
Gn!Reader. Pretty much the whole Justice Leauge x Y/N but 99% of it is platonic.
I could write a thing tho, where Y/N pretty much has their own harem but with time.
Also, completely SFW, I know the title sounds suggestive lmao.
♡ ○ ♡ ○ ♡ ○ ♡ ○ ♡
☆ Servant is such a harsh way of calling your position, but you'd prefer it over "Maid" or "Jaintor" any day.
☆ How'd you be hired? You'd probably get the opportunity from a friend of yours, who you know is a hero.
☆ For pure simplicity, let's say you know Clark is the S-Man. He notices you're looking for a job outside of the daily planet, and confidentiality, the Leauge is looking to hire some clean-up crew.
☆ You get the job pretty much instantly. You had no family, few friends, so the qualifications for the job were simple. To keep you protected, you'd have to live within any place the JL works at, minus the Hall of Justice. Way too public.
☆ You'd essentially go missing for days on end, and no one would notice. Those days would be used cleaning, organizing top to bottom. This was a lot of work, especially for places like the Watchtower, Titans Tower, basically all the "Towers".
☆ You'd also be made to fetch coffee, donuts, or, maybe, print out documents if needed. Sometimes, you'd get "special missions," like hiding a flashdrive at under your pillow until the Leauge needs it back.
☆ The job was tiring and endless work. But for the paycheck Batman gave you weekly? You were surprised they weren't making you do triple the amount of work.
☆ The hardest part was keeping your composure at the start of the job.
☆ Before your life was filled with coffee stains and printed reports. But now you were seeing world-famous heros on the daily, visiting places never before seen, hell you went to space!
☆ Now you realize though.
☆ It's still a life of coffee stains and printed reports.
☆ Only now, the coffee is for any overworked Bat, and the reports are full of people the FBI is too scared to add on their wanted list.
☆ You're so used to the heroes around you, you've started treating them like any other co-worker you did back at the DP.
☆ They enjoyed the change, though. They seem to prefer it over your fan-behavior your first weeks there.
☆ The highlights of your work week mostly consist of cleaning over at the Watch Tower, walking any pets some Superheros may have, helping younger heros with their homework, and getting your two hour long break.
☆ You've also gotten close with the Superheros around you. Clark was always a friend of yours, but you also seem to get along well with the Flash, who asks you to just call him Barry.
☆ You also got along extremely well with Wonder Woman and Aquaman, expressing great intrests in their origin and cultures. Hawkgirl added herself to the conversation most of the time, which you never did mind.
☆ This isn't even beginning to mention how much sidekicks and younger League members absolutely enjoy your presence. Who knew Batman and Supeman had young sons? And who knew they would've liked you so much? You're like, their favorite person now!
☆ At first, you thought that despite all the friendships, you were still just an employee, replaceable and exchangeable.
☆ Sometimes you'd get their orders wrong. Sometimes you'd accidentally print too many copies, or forget to clean a spot, or fold a certain way, or wash with a specific detergent.
☆ Each time you messed up, you knew it was only a matter of time before they fired you. Replaced you.
☆ But one day, when you were taken by Scarecrow by pure coincidence while you were walking through Gotham, they soothed your fears.
☆ Scarecrow had no idea who you were and placed you in a cage with other victims. He had some evil plan that you were honestly too horrified to even listen to, but you were positive it had to do with some fear-inducing chemicals. It always is.
☆ He never got the chance to, though. As it only took mere minutes for the Bat to barge in with an unnecessary amount of backup.
☆ The way Black Canary instantly was checking each part of your body for injuries had you feeling special. And the way other heroes crowded around you, each offering something to you.
☆ Wonder Woman had a blanket for you. The lanterns gave you water, and snacks. Both Kid and Regular Flash offered up heating pads and their super speed for some sort of massage.
☆ The way none of the other victims in the room got spoiled like this made you flustered. They all had their own places to protect. Why all cometo Gotham for you?
☆ They all like you way more than they'll ever let on. You're family now. You're a part of their schedules, a part they can't afford to change. Not now. Not ever.

No one asked, but I did in fact drag my ass out of bed at 7:30 in the morning to watch the new Superman trailer, so here are my thoughts:
David looks good. As Clark Kent and as Superman. And I don’t mean this in a thirsty way, I mean like he physically looks like Superman.
Did not… love this version of Krypto. I get that he’s based off of James Gunn’s dog, but I would’ve preferred he look more like a lab/shepherd, like he tends to in the comics.
Daily Planet. Metropolis. Luthorcorp. They all look fantastical—like they were plucked from the comic books themselves! And the globe! Thank you James Gunn for your service.
Controversial take (maybe) but I love Nathan Fillion as (a) Green Lantern. And the brief shot we got of him using the ring actually looked fucking sick. But maybe I’m just a sucker for Green Lantern?
Lois Lane cooked. Looks exactly how I imagined. I’m interested to see how she’ll balance Lois’s badass reporter side with her caring, empathic side.
CGI looked good in places but questionable in others. I’m going to withhold judgement till the movie actually comes out, because sometimes things just look better on the big screen.
I’m worried it’ll be overwatered. Like, we’re gonna drown in all these superhero characters, a lot of whom aren’t known outside of the superhero community; like Hawkgirl and Mr. Terrific are fantastic characters, but like no one I know would know who either of those people are, as opposed to how they could recognize a Wonder Woman or a Batman. They’re not niche exactly… but Gunn’s going to have to explain them to the audience and I’m worried it’ll confuse the plot. But he did juggle GOTG so I have faith!
Lex looks kinda stupid. Like too much of a pretty boy, not enough of an evil genius? I would’ve preferred they got an older man, because I feel like that would’ve spoken more to what Lex represents (capitalism, oppression, power and corruption). And in this day and age that could’ve been a really powerful storyline.
The action sequences look amazing. Protecting that little girl? Fighting Mr. Terrific in a sports arena? That last scene where he zooms out of a fire and into the sky? Oh my God, I was grinning so stupid watching those scenes. It looked dumb, but real. I’m tired of the hyper realism shit that we got from Marvel and the Synderverse—give me that wild mystical fight shit that look like a comic book but also like it could happen in my backyard.
Plot… I know this trailer wasn’t really supposed to tell us anything, but I’m still iffy. I have no idea what this is going to be about or how Gunn is going to handle it. But again, I have faith. The man handled the GOTG so I won’t write it off.
Anyway waking up at the buttcrack of dawn was totally worth it, but I’m gonna need a nap. Look up, guys!

I NEED IDEAS FOR A JUSTICE LEAGUE HIGH SCHOOL AU!!!
Okay just imagine Bruce, Clark, Diana, Ollie, Hal, Barry, Dinah, Shiera, Carter, the Johns, Ray, Kyle, Guy—ALL OF THEM in the same high school, each of them just starting off as a hero. Except. The others don't know.
I'd imagine Bruce as the one guy everyone thinks is an emo kid (in canon he only became *Brucie* after coming back from Batman training). He doesn't talk to anyone except for these two smart kids Harvey Dent and Harleen Qunizel. But this one popular cheerleader (who's secretly a kleptomaniac), Selina, keeps trying to ask him out. Bruce, on the other hand? He's obsessed with becoming Batman, spends his time trying to find the location of LoA so he can convince them to train him.
Clark. Beloved boy, plays basketball, lacrosse, soccer, football, is on the student committee, helps out his Ma and Pa. And in his free time, he stares at Bruce Wayne. His best friend, Diana, calls him out on it many times, a teasing smile on her face. And Clark absolutely *hates* that bald rich boy who acts like he's better than everyone—Lex.
Diana, she's recently been sent to Man's World to learn their traditions, expand her horizons and shit. Kinda like Diana from dc super hero girls. She plays all the sports Clark does, the main reason they ended up as friends. There's this one popular girl—Selina's friend—who ticks her off, for some reason she can't figure out. Barbara Minerva. But Diana's friends, Shiera and Dinah, stop her from acting on it. The three have confided in each other—they know Diana is an Amazon, know Shiera and Carter are Hawkman—but Dinah doesn't know she has powers, yet. She only knows that powers run in her family.
Dinah, meanwhile, is on-and-off dating the playboy rich kid, Oliver fucking Queen. He's... stereotypical, at times. He buys her roses and shows up to every one of her choir concerts, buys her Starbucks every morning... then on weekends, he brings her to his private shooting range, shows her his "mad archery skills". At this point, Ollie is debating whether or not to become Green Arrow. Dinah, she's currently a singer. She's in the choir, she's going to do a solo at her school's talent show. Little do they know, *that's* when her powers will show up. While she's screaming into a fucking mic.
Barry Allen. Has a crush on this girl, Iris. Like, he's down BAD. Iris and her friend Lois Lane, they both run the school paper, so Barry decides to do something they'll want to cover. He starts working on something he hopes will get their attention, but it blows up, Barry is hospitalized... and wakes up with powers.
John Stewart and Guy Gardener are upperclassmen, both seniors, so close to graduating when they find out a freshman (Kyle) and sophomore (Hal) have been given the rings. Of course, they don't have a choice but to mentor them, and, yk, make sure they don't die. John tries his best to be a good mentor, pointing out mistakes and making time for Hal and Kyle, while Guy is a little shit as always. Oh yeah, Guy and John r both also studying for their SATs while being green lanterns.
Carter and Shiera? Power couple. Been together since freshman year, will always *be* together. Plus, being Hawkman and Hawkgirl is prime bonding time. They're literally destined to always be together.
John Jones. Everyone always thinks there's something... *different* about him. When John notices that *Clark* isn't like these humans either, he approaches him, helps him realize he's Kryptonian. The two randomly becoming friends makes Bruce suspicious... and that's how Batman figures out that they're not humans. (Side note, when Bruce starts asking Clark tons of questions out of no where, instead of being suspicious, he reads it as a love language)
(...is it too obvious that I'm a SuperBat shipper)
ANYWAY yeah that's all I have for now. Just vague ideas of dynamics and stuff, with no actual storyline... but if you guys have any more ideas or things you'd like to see, PLEASE let me know! I rlly rlly rlly wanna read this and write this fic but I don't know what to writeee 😭

5 reasons you, a sapphic person, should read Hawkgirl (2023):
Reason #1: g...girls.
Kendra is very tall and very cut and in spite of this is an adorkable mess who feels that she has to cut short her meetup with a sidecut-bearing college buddy because she feels inadequate (in spite of being a reincarnated heroine from the dawn of time and a former Justice Leaguer)
Reason #2: Kendra is just that cool.
She has Batman on speed-dial.
Reason #3: Galaxy!
The rest of the cast are a wlw couple including transbian superheroine Galaxy and her gorgeous girlfriend Kat. Galaxy is a transforming space princess with a talking not-actually-a-dog guardian and is basically the trans magical girl you needed as a kid.
Reason #4: Yiff?
The new villainess, Vulpecula, is an evil magic(?) werefox vixen with sinister plans. Look at those hands. Tell me you aren't imagining her running those claws across your skin.
Reason #5: Planet X
Issue 2 is going to introduce Metropolis's biggest (and first canon) gay bar.

The Riddled Questions
To paint a (hopefully) quick picture for you, imagine this: the Justice League enjoying a surprisingly peaceful day; The Flash playing cards with Black Canary and Green Arrow, Diana and Barda having an intense training session to bond over their warrior-like upbringings, HawkGirl and Green Lantern (John Stewart) chilling in a corner trying to act like they aren't flirting even though everyone can see it and other League members just chatting or enjoying various fun activities on the Watch Tower.
Heck! Even Batman is oddly relaxed (all things considered), his head actually turned away from the monitors to indulge in his hushed conversation with Superman. Whatever they are talking about is causing the big ol' bat to smirk, and dare I say, chuckle.
However, no matter how much the heroes are enjoying the peace, crime is still crime and evil is still evil. It's at those dreaded big, bold, bright red words flashing "CODE ASYLUM" that breaks the peaceful atmosphere, Batman immediately clicking away on the monitors to show how every single Arkham Asylum patient has escaped and are causing havoc in Gotham (some even having managed to flee out of the smoggy city).
Long story short: the Justice League insisted on helping Batman, split up into groups or individually to take care of a specific criminal or villain.
Which is how we get to the present. The Question executing his mission of tracking The Riddler down and bringing him back to Arkham...the issue with this of course is the fact that a man who's whole persona is questioning life is tasked with bringing down a man who's whole identity is asking questions in the form of riddles, I mean, how else did you think this situation would turn out?
The Riddler curses as he's pushed into a corner by Question, the man scoffing and standing straight while spinning his question mark shaped cane around. "Okay, so you've got me in a corner...but riddle me this-"
The Question: *clicks his tongue and places his right hand up to his chin as if he's thinking deeply about something* "Why do you riddle?"
The Riddler pauses and stares at the mysterious-some might say questionable-man as if he's stupid: "Really? Maybe because I'm THE RIDDLER. Why the crap do you question me?"
The Question hums once again: "Because someone needs to ask the important questions, you won't find answers to the questions in question if you never ask. Why are you questioning me about questioning you?"
The Riddler huffs impatiently: "Because you questioned me about questioning you about questioning me, that's why. And why are you here anyway...where is Batman?"
The Question: "Why am I here? Hm...that is a question I often ask myself, what reason am I here for? Is asking questions all I'm meant to do? What about you? Is asking riddles all you are meant for?"
The Riddler: "Wh-huh!? How are you turning these questions back onto me!?"
The Question: "Why do you assume I'm trying to turn things onto you?"
The Riddler: "Why are you assuming I'm assuming things? Don't you think that's a bit rude?"
The Question: "Who knows? Do I think at all? Maybe...maybe not. I want to know why you assume that I'm assuming things about you when in fact I'm not assuming, I'm just stating the obvious based off of the response you gave me. Why do you assume I'm rude because of that?"
The Riddler: "Why are you assuming that I'm assuming you are inherently rude because of my statement? I have not outright said you were rude, I said your questioning sounded a bit rude not you."
The Question: "But when one says that about a person, even just their speech, does it not cause that person to automatically assume you are talking about them as a person? Just as how you assumed I was turning these questions back onto you."
The Riddler: "By you saying "does it not cause that person to assume you are talking about them" is that not you confessing to assuming and also proving you are turning these questions back onto me by questioning me back? Which is the exact assumption I made earlier, so I was right in my assumption of you assuming things of me."
The Question: "But if you don't want more questions asked of you, why do you keep responding to me with questions as well? I'm not the only one at fault here."
The Riddler's eyebrow twitches in agitation at this repeating game...but he can't help but to respond: "I'm supposed to not answer you back? Is it not polite to answer back when someone responds? And who said I don't want questions asked of me?"
The Riddler can't really see Question's face...but his voice sounds dry and sarcastic when he responds: "No one said it. I posed it as a question and not a statement, I never outright said you didn't not want to be asked questions, I was just questioning you on why you keep responding IF you don't like my questions. I didn't ask you that thinking you didn't enjoy them, it's all hypothetical."
The Riddler: "Why is it hypothetical?"
A smile is heard in The Question's voice: "Ah, now you are the one turning my questions back on me. Does that not seem hypocritical to complain about me doing it and then doing it yourself?"
The Riddler just glares at The Question for a hot minute before crossing his arms like a sulking child: "Well I'm evil and you aren't. I'm allowed to be hypocritical because there's no hope for me."
The Question tilts his head curiously: "Why is there no hope for you?"
Riddler opens his mouth to answer before closing it again, humming and squinting in thought: "Well...society seems to think so, do they not? If a group of people agree on it...then it must be true."
The Question crosses his arms: "And if a group of those same people jumped off a bridge, would you? Why do you follow society?"
The Riddler bristles at the question: "I do not! I'm evil. That isn't like normal people!"
The Question: "What defines normal to you?"
The Riddler groans and scratches his head: "Not harming people, for one. Maybe not being uncaring towards others and causing harm wherever and whenever you can!"
The Question: "But those people you sometimes hurt are the ones that see you as a freak, are they not? I'm sure those comments hurt you a great deal deep down. And "normal" people still hurt people, that is inevitable, it's if you keep doing it that matters...right?"
The Riddler quickly nods in agreement: "Yes! And I keep on hurting people, so I am not normal."
The Question nods: "Yes, so you have said. But why do you keep doing it?"
The Riddler snaps and barks out at the other man agitated: "Because I'm not normal! I told you that people have told me I'm evil because I am!"
The Question: "Ah...people...such fickle beings we are. Did you not just tell me that you didn't conform to society? But most of your reasoning for hurting people and continuing to do so is based off of societal standards of you, is it not? I have to ask: are you hurting people because you truly want to or have you been led to believe there's no hope because the "normal" people you look at won't extend that to you? No doubt you have issues, but are you truly unsaveable?"
The Riddler feels like his mind goes blank, what does this mean? Is he conformed to society already? Has he been like the others all this time in thinking he was different?
At the stunned silence of the man, The Question smiles behind his mask at wearing the other down, steps forward and gently leads the man out of his corner and back to an Arkham police van.
At the sight of The Question and The Riddler, The Flash runs up while rubbing his head: "We heard you through the comms. I have a headache from all those questions...why didn't you just fight him? Wouldn't it have been faster?"
Question hands over The Riddler and turns to the speedster: "I thought you were tired of the questions yet you ask me some?"
The mysterious man turns to look at the van driving away while placing a hand on the Flash's shoulder: "Is the easiest and quickest path always the wisest to choose? I think slow and steady has won this race my friend."
(Look...idk what random post/writing this is? I'm not expecting this to be good because I wrote this very randomly lol, with the thought of what would happen if two question asking people interacted. I started out with it being silly and somehow got...deep?...about it towards the end. And if no one could tell, Questions last question to Flash was supposed to mean he didn't want to fight an essentially confused man that day (he wouldn't mind fighting him any other time I'm sure lol), he already has too much on his mind so why not provide that hope he's so often denied by society in the form of long-winded questions...or something like that 😂.
You all please stay safe, happy, healthy and of course lovely as always. 💛)

I’ve been reading the Wonder Woman, George Pérez Omnibus and it’s really good but reading it made me a little sad because Wonder Woman has so many good characters. She’s got her own supporting cast, amazing villains, and great storyline’s, and they are never used in anything.
Like, I don’t wanna be that DC fan that compares Wonder Woman to Batman and Superman too much, but… She has her own Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, her own Lex Luthor, her own Joker. In multiple Batman stories and adaptations, Barbara is paralysed, Jason is killed, Batman’s back is broken. In multiple Superman adaptations, he’s defeated by Doomsday and replaced by Superman clones, and fails to save his father. In a lot of adaptations, these storyline’s are mentioned or seen, and are very well known… we’ll Wonder Woman also has these, yet they never show up in anything, because she never gets to do anything.
Yes, Cheetah, Circe and Ares will show up in Wonder Woman related media, but typically only as the obligatory “Wonder Woman villain” whilst Joker and Lex steal the limelight. Steve Trevor has shown up multiple times in Wonder Woman media, as her main love interest, but is either not fleshed out, or is ignored and usually dead by the end of it.
Imagine a Batman movie, show, game or whatever, and in this hypothetical media, Alfred is never mentioned, nor is any of the Batfamily. Joker and Bane are in it, but they’re basically glorified cameos, and Selina Kyle makes an appearance as his love interest but dies at the end. That’s the reality Wonder Woman is living in 90% of the time.
I think it doesn’t help that most casual DC fans knowledge of Wonder Woman lore is through the DCAU Justice League show. As much as I love that show, she’s not a very good adaptation IMO. She hardly interacts with Cheetah, Circe is a joke villain and Ares shows up once… dear god. As I said earlier, Cheetah is like the obligatory Wonder Woman villain. If the JL is fighting a group of villains, usually Cheetah is just thrown in there because it would be unfair to have 5 Superman villains and 6 Batman villains with no Wonder Woman villains. Because of this though, she never gets to do anything really, and whilst yes, she and Diana do interact, their interaction boils down to a short animated fight, and maybe one or two fleeting mentions of them being past friends/nemesis’. The worst offender is the JL episode focused on Wonder Woman and Themyscira, “Fury.” It’s an episode about a rogue Amazon, spreading a virus that aims to wipe out all men and let women dominate the Earth. Not only is this Amazon an OC and not an actual Wonder Woman villain, but the main hero is Hawkgirl for some reason, and the whole episode kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth because of how disjointed the message is. It’s trying to say “Women need men, as much as men need women” but ironically the entire episode just shows men being incompetent and women solving everything so that’s odd.
My point is, it feels like so much effort is put into DC media to incorporate as much elements of Batman and Superman’s supporting cast, villains and worldbuilding, yet even if Wonder Woman is a main character as well, she won’t get that same luxury, and the most she’ll get is them throwing in Steve Trevor and Cheetah out of obligation, whilst Superman and Batman get to bring their entire roster.

I just found the Dark!Shepherds AU and it got me curious. You likened them to the Justice League a bunch, so what superheroes would the ROs be? It doesn’t have to be DC either, Marvel works too.
Hi there, the #superhero tag also has some answers that are analogous to this (like what would be their favorite superheroes would be in a modern AU or what a literal #superhero AU would look like with them as the Justice League), but if you're talking about which literal real-life DC/Marvel superheroes they'd be or what roles they'd fill in their version of the Justice League, I think:
Blade: realistically he's probably Batman, but without the remorse over killing... so maybe Cassandra Cain or Damien Wayne without being a little kid?? Let's just go with Batman (he can share the role with Riel down below) - paranoid and tetchy, hyper-vigilant, keeps to the shadows, does a lot of his work in secret, trained by the League of Shadows before turning against them if we're putting in Batman Begins lore, etc.
Trouble: Superman or Captain America (idealistic, good-hearted, patriotic, etc., the "face" or mascot of the League)
Tallys: Vixen, keeps to herself but definitely still a member of the League, cares more about helping the world/nature than her social dynamics with the other heroes. Could also see her being Huntress (Helena Bertinelli JLU version) for her desire for revenge and her rivalry with Black Canary (aka Lavinet) below
Shery: Oracle or Red Tornado (Young Justice version); takes on a more secondary, overseer role or even the role of the homemaker
Riel: Batman (the tactician, world's greatest detective, would always be prepared to bring down the others if they became too powerful/corrupt, would keep files on their strengths and weaknesses, etc.). Ironman, of course, would also be a very fitting analogue for him: billionaire genius inventor who uses tech to supplement his lack of natural powers
Chase: I feel like most of the superheroes are most analogous to him are female LOL I feel like Catwoman (thief, antihero, oftentimes aligns herself with the good guys--especially recently) is the closest idea I have, but I'm open to hearing others!
Red: Dr. Fate (magic-user who dabbled with things he shouldn't have) or Dr. Strange? (idk anything about him to be honest, my knowledge heavily skews DC, but if the vibe fits)
Ayla: Hawkgirl (JLU version): distrustful of outsiders, has her own secrets and motivations, fiery but a powerful hero who comes from another land (or, more accurately, another planet)
Briony: Starfire--bubbly, a bit ditzy, extremely passionate and emotional, wears her heart on her sleeve, "foreigner" who has to learn (or relearn) the ways of the Earthlings and acclimate fast
Lavinet: Black Canary (Dinah Lance)--trained by a mentor to rival Wonder Woman in combat prowess despite being a mostly normal human, joined the League against parental protest and permission, but also has strong social and mediation skills/emotional intelligence (Young Justice version)
Halek: John Constantine? I don't even remember if he's a part of the League lol but, you know, exorcist, chain smoker, kind of disenfranchised... it fits in my head...
Mimir: Raven (Teen Titans version)--I imagine their voices being very similar, too!

That first look at James Gunn’s SUPERMAN may be dividing opinions, but a new workout photo of David Corenswet confirms the actor has got into serious superhero shape to bring the Man of Steel to life.
Costume aside, when Corenswet - a relative unknown - was cast, many fans argued that he was too skinny to play the Man of Tomorrow.
If you still have any doubts, then we’d imagine the photo (last slide) will rid you of them. Corenswet’s trainer has taken to Instagram to share a shot of the actor mid-workout and this guy is seriously jacked. He’s got massive to play Superman and may even be bigger than Henry Cavill if his arms are anything to go by.
David Corenswet is playing the Man of Steel, while Rachel Brosnahan has been tapped to star as Lois Lane.
The movie’s supporting cast includes Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Pa Kent, Neva Howell as Ma Kent, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
