Another blast from the past from my files, this double page spread was from Gotham City Garage!

I only did this one spread in this book, and this was also done back when I was still trying to get a handle on digital color. I didn't know how to use flats, so everything was colored the hard way by coloring in the lines by hand!

It's OK to laugh.

But I really like this style, and consider this look a tribute to George Perez. I would have loved to have colored some of his work.

BHOC: MARVEL TWO-IN-ONE #51

The week brought another issue of MARVEL TWO-IN-ONE, this one featuring an assortment of special guest stars hanging out with Ben Grimm. Part of the reason for that is that this was one of those stories commissioned as an emergency fill-in that could be used in multiple places given the need. So it could have also been an issue of AVENGERS, but it wound up in TWO-IN-ONE. That’s a nice if generic…
