backdrop of some insane and fun neon city. obviously the black family would be from an insane line of illegal street racers. sirius was the best to ever do it but he doesn't anymore for Reasons and so regulus took up the mantel and is the fastest, best racer ever.

regulus has insane tension w james (cause im still me) and he still races even tho sirius doesnt but then one day barty rolls into town.... crazy tricked-out car... and beats regulus downnnnnnnn which of course makes regulus furious but also obsessed bc wdym there is someone better than him??? and they begin their insane obsessive rivalry and james is like?? hello </3 pookie u were supposed to love me

but then sirius gets back into racing which freaks regulus out because they do duos so it's reg and his best guy vs. sirius and his best guy (james) and regulus picks barty even though he fucking hates him because he's the best.

also i want marlene to be the mechanic who works on everyone's cars and dorcas is gonna be the mastermind who plans all the race routes, maps out where the police are, checks the scanners, bails them out of jail etc etc

also i want barty to be racing bc he's always scrounging for money and insane and pouring all his winnings into his crazy car and regulus is racing bc it runs in his blood but he's also his family is evil and smuggling .......smth across city and state lines. i wanna say stolen art right now. but that's too on brand for me. we must break free!

i just want drama. fast cars. fun races. higher stakes. police involvement. accidents. sabotage. cars blowing up. etc etc

Even back in s1, although they made a pit stop at the Ritz, they didn’t truly bring the issue back up until they were in the bookshop. To start to plan.

And now that it’s torn down and exposed the only thing he can offer more of, is himself.

and yet after everything, all the heartbreak, Aziraphale still says,

“But, um….my bookshop.”

While retreating into his East end corner, putting distance between him and the Metatron, to make himself closer to Crowley, to see if he’s still there.

and if that isn’t some of the biggest proof that Aziraphale did not want to go, did not want to leave Crowley. Well.

I think as much as free housing for everyone is a good goal, we gotta also fight for the right to not live in a house if you don't want to? Like I am aware that for the vast majority of homeless folks rn it's a non-choice or half-choice under the current system but like. Idk like even if the state provides everyone with an apartment or tiny home, even if most people would take that deal in a heartbeat, it's not okay for the state to force someone into housing they don't want. It's not okay for the state to tow someone's camper van even if they give them an apartment in exchange. I should have the right to travel for months on end and camp anywhere suitable that isn't being used. Freedom of movement and freedom to occupy spaces is really important actually.

okay but i really love how the lines of who is trapped and who isn't are getting blurred. helena is, like, basically head of the company, except she isn't. she's a real person, but she is so obviously stilted and cold and awkward talking to anyone outside her family without media training. she is an eagan and nothing else. she's so unhappy in her life that she's crawling into the cage she built. milchick is in control, but he also isn't, because it seems increasingly likely that he was "raised" by lumon in the same way as huang, and even if he wasn't he barely seems to exist in any context outside of strained professionalism and frantic crisis management. lumon will actively consume any part of you that you do not make the choice to cut away from it and even those parts of you might crawl to it anyway

So like Dorian has been actively saving Orym's life since the beginning in EXU. Jumping to dangerous situations to heal Orym, to boost him back to standing. And Dorian is the one who says "not debts between us".

Because Orym saved Dorian when they met. Orym's tactical knowledge. Orym's kindness. Orym making sure Dorian felt comfortable and a part of whatever group they made together.

It doesn't matter how many times Dorian physically saves Orym. Orym saved Dorian first. And everything after that is Dorian repaying Orym. That's why there's no debts between them. Because everything Dorian does is repaying Orym

headcanon that rather than disobeying the lan clan’s strict sleep schedule like staying up late or waking up late like you might expect of him, Lan Jingyi does rest at hai time and rise at mao time like any Lan but in the most chaotic and inelegant way. Hai time rolls around and he is instantly out, like just nods off in the middle of a conversation while still standing mouth hanging open

the number of times Sizhui has had to move him to his bed in their dorm after Jingyi falls asleep sprawled on the floor, or frantically yank him out of a bath before he drowns, Ouyang Zizhen will catch his head before it falls into his plate of food, Jin Ling ends up having to carry him on his back to the nearest inn when they’re out of town

and yeah he wakes up at mao time but he wakes up like an explosion and is instantly bursting with energy. Before Sizhui can even fully open his eyes, Jingyi is halfway through a monologue at full volume, he’s bouncing off the walls, 75% of his day’s productivity is happening right after he wakes up

bonus points if this very noticeably does Not happen during a serious battle or night hunt and people start to think he’s doing it on purpose but Sizhui will tell you no he’s just Like That

I was gonna post a holiday snippet for supercorp, but honestly the only thing I could think of is Kara just looking at Lena. Like, you know how soft a person's face looks when its lit only by the glow of the multi-colored lights on a Christmas tree? I just want Kara looking at Lena as they sit on opposite sides of the couch, not from an argument, but because they're comfy enough to spread out in their own space occasionally. And Kara just sits and gazes at her partner, taking in the softened lines of Lena's features, which are equally content as she looks at the tree, lost in thought.

Kara can't begin to fathom what those thoughts might be, but it honestly doesn't matter. They're here, they're together, and that's all she needs.

They really set Natalie up to fail.

The girls gave her the illusion of power, and Natalie, who had never been in a position of power before, wasn’t experienced or observant enough to realize her new position in the group was always fragile and easily susceptible to be challenged.

In 3x01, during the meeting inside her cabin, Natalie’s new counsel, Gen, Van and Tai, were imo always the easiest people to be swayed against her leadership. We’ve seen Gen follow those around her, Tai and Van were always gonna do what they thought was best for the other. Beyond that, Van is a loyal follower of Lottie’s spiritual guidance and would do whatever they thought the wilderness would want, Tai and Shauna have been close friends since being stranded, and again Gen (and most of the other girls) is a sheep.

They literally saw the wind blow one way and decided to follow it.

During Lottie’s ‘reign’ the only people we saw openly defy her was Shauna and Natalie. During which they didn’t have great ties with the other girls, which is why the girls didn’t follow their lead and dismiss Lottie during winter. Shauna’s only real friend atp was Taissa (who is most loyal to Van) and Natalie and Travis had just broken up and because she was so busy hunting Natalie never really got the chance to connect with the others.

The girls had only seen Natalie as the hunter and never got the chance to see her as anything else. Once she started training others in hunting she dwindled her own importance to the group.

If Natalie understood this she would’ve recruited people like Misty, Shauna, and Lottie into her counsel.

Misty is loyal to those she deems friends, although her actions concerning her friends are questionable, she would’ve made Natalie’s job easier. Misty is cunning and intelligent, her people skills may not be great but she knows how to survive.

Lottie is the one the girls turn to for guidance concerning the wilderness. She already has great ties to the others and we saw during Coach Scott’s trial how much those connections swayed the others (Travis and Akilah who were the final nails in Ben’s metaphorical coffin). I believe Lottie still would’ve voted the way she did either way but might’ve been more hesitant to do so.

Shauna would’ve been a gamble. Either she would have been happy with whatever power she’d get from being on Natalie’s counsel or she would’ve craved more faster. Shauna’s role as butcher gave her importance to the group as a provider, of course the others were easily swayed by her.
