In my au Stanley (narrow gauge) has a special interest in insects (I hc him as being into animals, they don’t judge you for your “jinx” and he’s got a soft spot for critters that are seen as “bad luck”) and tends to blurt out the most detailed information, he often info-dumps with and to Nia who encourages it cause it makes him happy once he’s freed from his “jinx” and she know every single insect name alphabetically along with their scientific names and nicknames Here we have Duke immediately regretting asking them if they can name every single species and ends up sleeping when they’re engrossed in their conversation before leaving when they were in the mid section of the e category (Nia gave him ��the disappointment older sister look” awhile back so the poor guy can trapped there and wondered how did he got ever himself into this situation)

for anyone else out there struggling with insomnia, I'm sharing this just in case it helps anyone else: my doctor suggested 5 mg melatonin for me. It didn't make me sleep better and also gave me pretty bad side effects like having brain fog the day after, like I was completely unable to think and my reactions were slowed down to the point I would've been a danger in traffic. but I switched to a lower dose of 3 mg melatonin and not only do I have no side effects from that dose but ALSO IT WORKED. I've actually consistently slept 7-8 hours for the past week since I switched dose. I don't know the science behind that but lowering the dose worked better to put me to sleep.

So in the Sheik au, did Sheik almost rat himself out to be Zelda?

i rambled a bit here, but yeah i think he has a lot of close calls throughout the story honestly agdksgfjhakf…….i think i’ve also come up with a good explanation now for why ganondorf didn’t immediately recognize sheik as zelda at first, and i think i’ll keep it to myself for now, but it’s totally nonmagical in nature— in fact, sheik eventually finds that he can actually unmask around ganondorf without him suspecting anything, tho obviously keeps this to a minimum as much as possible anyway

otherwise i feel like sheik spends a lot of time and energy watching what she says/does on a daily basis, and there are close calls for sure, especially when trying not to mention anything about being a triforce bearer, which is just as important (if not moreso) than ganon not finding out that she’s princess zelda? which is often inconvenient, because sheik is extremely interested in studying the nature/aspects of the triforce while waiting for link to eventually wake up, so she has to be very covert about any triforce-related questions she has for ganondorf, who is the only other person available who has one :’-)
