That’s actually not bad, if executed the right way! I’d say we start with just saying that she was called an extremely vulgar name. She explains to driver (or maybe even to sir topham) what it is. This can be done off screen, and mentioned occurring in the plot if needed. If it’s an older audience, then it can be mentioned as being called the n-word. They can be explain the concept of racism to her.

The concept of saying ‘nigga’ is another lesson. I get that people r trying to reclaim the word, n that’s brilliant. It just feels uncomfortable, especially because there r mixed reactions when non black folk say it, n it just feels like ur dumbing down the actual slur, like saying oh fudge instead of oh fuck. N in general, it’s still frowned upon if ur not black. These things make the word problematic still.
