Fun fact for a long time lego only ever made limited edition deadpool minifigs because of how not family friendly he is. They were usually only sold at cons like nyccc! The reason theres so many out there is unofficial lego sellers seeing the demand and making their own!
this checks out ! my deadpool minifigure is dodgy as heck !
#I found him at greenwich market : )#thank you for fun fact shrimp ! I love my bootleg deadpool all the same.#I doubt official deadpool minifigs have the nubbin either. anyone out there with an official minifig.#nubbin pics please.#not child friendly.. and now he’s all over Disney+.#child friendly doesn’t matter anymore if you make a BUTT FUCK TONNE OF MONEY !!1

Maritime Greenwich
Today, let's set sail on a virtual odyssey through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Maritime Greenwich in the United Kingdom. Join me as we navigate the historic waters of the Thames and immerse ourselves in a maritime haven where time, astronomy, and exploration intertwine.
Marvel at the splendor of the Old Royal Naval College, a Baroque architectural gem that graces the banks of the Thames. The Painted Hall and the Chapel stand as testament to Britain's maritime prowess and its historic ties to the Royal Navy.
Wander through the elegant corridors of The Queen's House, a masterpiece of classical architecture. Designed by Inigo Jones, this royal residence offers a glimpse into the opulent life of British monarchs and houses an impressive art collection.
Ascend Greenwich Hill to the Royal Observatory, where the world's time is measured. Straddle the Prime Meridian Line and connect with the origins of modern timekeeping amid the historic instruments that marked the path of celestial exploration.
Wander through Greenwich Park, a green oasis steeped in royal history. Enjoy panoramic views of the Thames and London's skyline, surrounded by centuries-old trees and blooming gardens.
Saunter along the Thames riverfront, where historic ships are moored and the echoes of maritime history resound. The river tells tales of naval expeditions, trade, and global exploration, making it a living testament to Britain's seafaring legacy.
Dive into the vibrant atmosphere of Greenwich Market, where history meets modernity. Explore stalls filled with unique crafts, antiques, and culinary delights. The market buzzes with the energy of locals and visitors alike, creating a kaleidoscope of colors and flavors.
Recognized by UNESCO in 1997, Maritime Greenwich is celebrated for its pivotal role in navigation, astronomy, and timekeeping. It encapsulates the spirit of exploration that defined the Age of Enlightenment.
Immerse yourself in the lively events and festivals that animate Maritime Greenwich. From astronomy sessions at the Royal Observatory to riverside celebrations, the site offers a rich tapestry of cultural experiences.
In conclusion, Maritime Greenwich invites us to navigate the currents of history, where time and exploration converge on the banks of the Thames. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it stands as a testament to the daring spirit of those who charted unknown waters. When you're ready for a virtual maritime adventure, Greenwich promises to enchant and captivate. ⚓🏰🌟

Not many people are aware of this tiny gated street in Manhattan, NYC, called Greenwich Mews. There are only 7 residences, they're rarely for sale, and this one was put on the market, then taken off. It was built in 1989, has 3bds, 2.5ba. They priced it at $6.49M. However, Zillow thinks it's worth $4,215,200. Maybe that's the problem. Let's have a look.
Well, it's been completely renovated. Walk in the front door and there's a living room with a bay window immediately to the right.
It has a fake fireplace now, and I must say that it's not very large, but it's cozy.
The dining area is between the living room and kitchen that share the main floor space.
This is small. I wonder what it looked like originally.
The family room is a very large space, though.
1/2 bath on the main floor.
There are 4 floors.
This is nice- the primary bd. is very large and has a terrace.
Pretty terrace overlooking the Mews.
Renovated bath. Everything gray and white, b/c "that's what buyers want."
Bds. 2 & 3 are good sizes.
Renovated bath #2.
There isn't any room for private yards, so there's a communal space on top of the garage. I realize that NYC home prices are out of control, but as unique as the street is, I'm just not seeing $6.49M here.

“I’m wearing a vintage polo jersey, vintage army skirt, a pair of vintage engineer boots, and a vintage leather belt and Francesco Biasia bag; bought at Rose Bowl Flea Market, 2nd Street, and Deelux in Claremont. What inspires my style the most is pulling inspiration from vintage Americana themes and doing whatever feels intuitive.”

Wicked Marketing campaign is a train wreck i can't look away from. The fact that they are clearly trying to do a Barbenheimer 2.0 happen. The lazy brand collaborations where they are just slapping a logo and painting things green and pink. The INSANE collaborations that completely ignore the original context of some elements of the story, like Greenwich University promoting the movie, while in the musical, Shiz University is helping spread evil propaganda; selling Oz's elixir vodka, while in the book the green elixir is essentially used as a dater*pe drug. Lighting a war monument in pink and green colors. The overuse of the musical high note in Defying Gravity that is turning already musical haters away from the movie. The oversaturation of products to compensate for the fact that musical fans have been waiting for this movie for twelve years now. The fact that this is only PART I, a nearly three hours part 1, and we have a whole other nearly three hours part 2 waiting for us next year! The fact that they are pretending that the whole cheating scandal didn't happen. The lack of a clear target audience, which has been a problem of the original musical since the beginning: is this a whimsy musical for kids following the footsteps of the original movie and books? In which case why are you selling expensive cosmetic kits and jewerly as well as alcoholic drinks that no kid would want or could buy? Or is it a more adult focused satire like the Wicked book? In which case the amount of ads and products sorta go against the anti propaganda message from the story. The fact that honestly they didn't need to do all that, this is a movie about one of the most beloved musicals and it stars Ariana Grande, people were going to see it regardless of what it was, and trust me most people have no idea of what it even is, only that it has something to do with the Wizard of Oz. Also Mattel design team not bothering with proof reading their boxes and accidentally linking to a p*rn website
#i am fascinated by all this#from wicked the book being sanitized for the stage#making it a weird hybrid of the colorful 1939 movie and the very dark and cynical 90s book#to the movie musical being what seems to be a bizarre combination of both in our late stage capitalism#with a marketing campaign that is leaning into hunger games territory with its dystopian levels of ignorance and carelessness#wicked#wicked movie#wicked the musical#cynthia erivo#ariana grande#my post#wicked marketing campaign

ARMIN
-armin would be from islington or finchley maybe even south, but I don’t see him living in like bougie areas such as kensington or chelsea or like richmond
- him and eren went to the same primary and secondary together
-armin was literally his get out of jail free card because of his stellar reputation in academics
-he always gets free stuff from the corner shop or the chicken and chip shop
-doesn’t own a car, he either bikes or takes the tube because he cares about the environment and doesn’t want to add onto the extra pollution in london
-his dress sense is very casual like a t shirt, a pair of loose fitted trousers and some trainers but when he cant be bothered he’ll wear a tech fleece
-he has a very good sense of direction, like he knows the fastest routes for anything, like when eren and connie dragged him to carni (if you went this year im saur jealous 😩 but anyways) and it was time to get home armin found a quicker route that got them back pretty fast
-knows all the best secret spots in london for anything! which makes hanging out with him more fun because you experience a new part of london when you’re together
-he isnt a fan of eren’s scamming ways but when eren asks for help he always answers as long as he’s not a part of it
-london men i feel like are terrible with their feelings but armin is the exception, he would be very open with you about his feelings and such
-reads so much, you’ll catch him at hyde park or greenwich park reading till the sun sets
-he smokes cigarettes but he’s trying to cut it out for you
-his playlist would be very diverse since he’s been brought up in a multicultural area, like it would go from bashment, to rnb, drill to pop
-unlike his unserious counterparts *cough cough* eren and connie, he’s very loyal!
ONYANKOPON
-my ghanaian king, shoutout to my ghanaians!!
-he speaks twi so well that people forget he was brought up in the uk
-he would be from peckham or lewisham for suree, he’s deffo been dragged around by his mum round rye lane market on a saturday morning carrying that trolley with him

-the aunties love him for this because he’s the perfect son that they don’t have and they just love him in general
-ony can cook and im being for real, so you guys never eat out unless ony wants to show you to a new niche restaurant somewhere
-he has snap but doesn’t have a bitmoji because he thinks it’s immature 😕 but eventually he caves and makes one because you ask him too
-hes always promoting his boys stuff whether that be music,
-he deffo went to an all boys secondary and then he went to a mixed sixth form after, he gives me those vibes
-he used to go to the library to link girls after school 😭 he had a big playboy phase but hes calmed down
-he used to be one of those people at stratford westfield trying to sell you magazines before you enter
-hes not stingy with his money, hes always spoiling the people he loves
-he has a bunch of caps and grills that he likes to rotate out weekly, he has great style
-he works in corporate london so its rare that you dont see him outside of a suit and tie but he always makes time for you
-ony is always holding your bag for dear life when you go to bait areas like oxford street or westfields or like the tourist spots because people be getting their shit stolen loool
-he loves late night tesco trips anything that he can do at night i.e late night walks, drives etc
-bossman is always giving him discounts on stuff because ony is loyal customer.
REINER
-look at that man and tell me he wouldnt be from essex tell me!! like thats pure dagenham material right there
-if you search up a typical person from essex, he would come up
-he probably owns those skintight chinos with those ugly polos with the church shoes
-he tries to downplay his accent a bit since sometimes its hard to understand him but when hes upset his accent comes through in full force
-always at spoons or at the club till early hours
-reiner gives me bricklayer vibes so thats what im gonna roll with
-when he comes home from work in summer hes like hot and sweaty but it makes his biceps glow so its kinda sexy idk
-has a bunch of tattoos, most of them are birthdays of family members and a picture of his grandma who passed away

you're a mirror i cannot avoid
south downs crowley pov ficlet for @voluptatiscausa, inspired by this! explicit content incoming!
-
I realised something, when we moved here. Discovered something new about you, just when I thought I had nothing more to learn. I made an observation, now that we have a medicine cupboard above the sink in the bathroom, its outer panels silver and shining and reflecting the room just as it appears.
You'd never owned a mirror before.
Not to my knowledge. The bookshop didn't have one, nor did your previous dwellings. If we fed the ducks at St. James's Park, you never gave the water's surface more than a glance. You always loved to pause before shop windows, to admire the Savile Row tailors and the Greenwich Market goods, yet you never stopped quite long enough to catch the sight of your face gazing back at you. Instead, you either ducked into the shop without further ado, or bustled on by.
There's nowhere to duck into now, angel, nowhere to bustle towards. You have nothing to acquire but more moments of me, nowhere to be but where we are.
Maybe that's why I see you looking in that bathroom mirror, sometimes. After all, we are country men, now; there is nothing to do here but sit with oneself, nothing to understand but the intricacies of one's own likeness. I can see you trying, as you always have, to grapple with the meat and bones of yourself. Only now, the worry with which you once attempted to reconcile your self-impression with the cold fist of Heaven has flown, like a restless bird whose mother feared it would fall from the nest, soaring high into the cotton tuft of the springtime clouds in adolescent rebellion.
I like watching you look at yourself. Sometimes, when I see you standing still before the bathroom sink, I slink up from behind you, so you can see me coming.
(You always see me coming, angel. Every time. Even when you greet me, as a French prisoner greets his lawless rescuer, with breath-hitched surprise.)
When I've reached you, I splay one hand out on the broad plane of your shoulder, brush idle fingers against the tense of your thigh. I feel you relax beneath me, my nose buried in your shell-pink cheek, watching you drink this new sight in out of the corner of my eye.
You enjoy this, seeing us together. Not still and unchanging like a photograph, but moving, fluid, alive. Once, I even joked that we should acquire a larger mirror, so you could see the look on my face next time you took me on all fours. You chuckled, and asked me would I get lunch started, because you were off out - you had errands to run in the village.
You took the Bentley, came back with a full-length 'looking glass', as you called it. Used a miracle to get it in the car, used a miracle to get it out again, lost the patience to manoeuvre it up to the bedroom. You unpacked it from its box downstairs while I dished up lunch, tugged me up from my seat and backed me into the drawing room once you had eaten your fill.
You pulled our hips together and gripped my jaw to tip my chin up, to bare my neck for you. I felt the surface of your skin whisper a pearl-white wisp of relief when I pressed the pads of my fingers to your bare forearms, just below your rolled-up sleeves. You sunk your teeth into the flush of my throat, the side of your thumb stroking my collarbone, and my core pulsed, my knees wobbled. You smiled wide against my skin.
I begged for you, of course. It's a practice I maintain, though you never deprive me. It reminds us both of the old days, when we met only under cover of darkness and you handled my cunt like it was a cradled secret.
You had me on my hands and knees, pushing back against the upward curve of your length, in no time. You've always been impatient, angel. You barely mustered the composure required to take me by the waist and angle me just right before the mirror, so hurried was your need to feel my hilt flex on the fat tip of your dick.
(I reckon I know why you're partial to having me this way. Even resting my weight on my elbows, I find it a strain to cover my mouth. You can feel what you do to me when you fill me, from the trembling in my thighs and the sheen of sweat coating the small of my back, where you reach to pin my wrists behind me once I surrender my hands to you and collapse my weight onto my shoulders. Still, you like to hear me, though my whimpers emerge twisted and warped from my mouth, my cheek crushed against the soft carpet.)
It was hard to make out where your gaze was focused, from that angle, but when I did look in the mirror as you fucked me slow and deep, I registered that your eyes were fixed upon yourself. Not with vanity, no - pure pride, as the lower curve of your gut rested on my ass, and the strength of your spine helped you hold me steady with one lengthened arm.
You were seeing yourself as you truly were, as you have always been, though you may not have known it till we arrived in the countryside; my guardian, my protector, my one true equal. Your eyes flickered down towards mine, and though my lids were drooping in languid ecstasy, I knew you saw it all within them; every kindness you allowed me to offer you over the years, every truth you internalised when I expressed it over the millennia.
You saw me, and I saw you, and together, we saw something different in each other, something entirely new; that you were no longer yourself, and I was no longer myself. We were no longer small, separate stars, but one bursting supernova, in which neither of us knew where you ended and where I began. We were changed, in a word, we were home, for the very first time, all our wildest hopes fulfilled.
There's a looking glass in every room, now, each one a different size and shape to the next. New ways of looking, new ways of seeing, abound.
I want to go and feed the ducks again. I want to watch you look in the pond, properly this time.
I want to behold what you will find there.

thank you so so much for reading!! comments and reblogs are always always appreciated💙 also available to read on ao3 here:

Ncuti Gatwa’s Favourite?
Food spot in London: “I've just found a new one in Greenwich called Angle Ninety – it does high-style Nigerian food. The jollof bangs. The suya bangs. The lamb cutlets bang. It's just a little spot that does great food, and I think they do events there too. But also, honourable mention to Borough Market.”
Food spot in Scotland: “My mum's kitchen.”
Art gallery: “I like the National Portrait Gallery and I like the V&A.”
Museum: “The Natural History Museum. I need to go back there. I've only been there once and it was f****** amazing.”
International holiday destination: “Rio de Janeiro. I love Brazil and Rio is an incredible place.”
Staycation: “Maybe Devon? I like Devon and I like Cornwall. They're beautiful places: colourful houses; beautiful scenery. I just shot a film in Devon called The Roses and I definitely want to go back.”
Pamper spot: “I've got to give you three: 1) Ama Hair Salon, 2) for massages – OK now we're going boujee – The Corinthia, and 3) Omorovicza [The Spa at Liberty]. I like to pamper myself! We've all got to look after ourselves!”
Concert venue: “Principality Stadium in Cardiff – I went to see Beyoncé there twice. Other than that, I do like a night at Ronnie Scotts.”
Cinema: “There's one in Notting Hill where they've got like sofas and they've got a chandelier. That place is nuts. What's it called? That's it! Electric Cinema!”
Park: “Hilly Fields. And then head up to Blackheath.”
Any destination in the past: “Ancient Egypt.”
Any set in entertainment history: “Maybe The Matrix. To see all the pods.”
Year: “I would want to go 200 years into the future. I would want to see how we've done. I would want to see if we had sorted out climate change. I would want to see if we have sorted out all the world conflicts. And I would want to see if we've kept AI under control.”
