I have never seen such a beautifully decorated store-to-home conversion. This 1913 building in Mineola, TX, was originally built by the local Masonic Lodge - They had their meetings upstairs and rented out the store. The storekeeper also opened a post office inside. 3bds, 3ba, 4,564sqft, $349,900.
You can't see it in this photo, but there's a little garden fence around this patio in front of the store, to indicate that it's private property.
They've got a pretty dining set and desk in front of the space. A beautiful chandelier is suspended from the opening in the ceiling.
Next to the dining area, there's an elegant French Provincial living room with a fireplace.
A case opening frames an adorable little vintage store display and antique collection.
They put up some dividing walls and decorated them with antiques.
Through this door there's a cute little bedroom.
And in here, there's a very pretty bedroom.
A nice half bath.
Original stairs to the Mason Lodge.
Up here there's a big kitchen and the island looks like the old store counter.
Antiques and vintage furniture divide the space.
Here's the living room area.
Looking down at the main floor.
Lovely vintage primary bedroom.
Nice large bath.
Private covered patio in the back of the home.
There's potential for a large fenced yard on the 0.4 acre lot.

WTH House: Here's a brick 1974 mid century modern ranch in Bolivar, MO that looked pretty nice, all brick, 2 car garage. 5bds, 4.5ba, 6,690sqft, $379,995. But, inside it's empty and damned eerie.
I wonder if the real estate agents preferred to wait outside for buyers.
There's a long entrance hall before you get to the coat closet.
First stop, home office. Lots of cabinets and a built-in desk. They even left you a chair.
I wonder why they made halls rather than open rooms, like all the other mid century modern floor plans.
This must be a bedroom w/a closet and a built-in. The whole house is filled with very dark wood.
More hall. Well, at least some of it is brick.
I don't know what this is. Maybe a dining room.
The kitchen is a sea of cabinetry, but at least there's plenty storage. Two rows of doors. I've never seen anything like that.
The kitchen opens to the living room with a giant brick fireplace.
Finally, the agent Photoshopped some furniture in.
OMG. Sliding doors in the living room, as well as other rooms, open to this indoor pool with rust and black mold everywhere. They even left the moldy pool filled w/water. Is that an a/c unit on the ceiling? How much does mold remediation cost? And, a new a/c unit?
The primary bedroom is huge and I think it also opens to the moldy pool.
Huge ensuite bath with tons of cabinets.
But, here you have to wonder what they were thinking. That is an outdoor lamp post by the shower. Well, it does have a nice hook for your robe. No! Why not get crazy and hang a seasonal wreath on it?
I don't know what this room is, but that must be the fireplace chimney. Look at the water damage.
Some sort of cinder block room with sliders and stairs. It may be off the pool, like for supplies.
What is this place? It has a window with a view of a ceiling.
This looks like a storage room running off the bedrooms.
Wow, look at how low the windows are.
Tight squeeze in this bath.
At least it has a patio in the back, but it's accessed thru the moldy pool.
0.69 acre lot. Way overpriced for all the work it needs.

This 2005 home in Harvey, LA has some unbelievable features. 6bds, 6ba, 7,583sqft, $825k + $54m/HOA. Don't be deceived by the plain main living areas, give it a chance.
Has small entrance hall w/a double closet.
The first room to the left as you enter, is a dining room w/wainscoting.
Then, there's an open family room/kitchen.
The kitchen's very nice with white cabinets and quartz counters.
And, then the swinging glass doors in the family room open to this retro cafe.
And, it even has a kitchen.
Plus a game area. What a great place to entertain.
There's also a very nice office or den with a cozy fireplace and shelving.
But, this. This is a proper home theater. You can even have live performances here. This home theater is amazing.
It even has a mezzanine AND a balcony. I would have to lighten up the decor, it's so dull.
Isn't this crazy? Look at the balcony, it's a private box seat.
The primary bedroom suite.
The bed chamber is smallish, but then there's a sitting room with shelving and a fireplace.
The ensuite bath is off the sitting room.
This is a very large TV room, or it could be one of the 6 bds. Thru the window you can see a terrace.
So many bedrooms.
And just as many baths. This one's a small 3pc shower room.
This bedroom is quite large.
And, it has a bath with closets in the hall connecting to another bathroom.
This is very nice. A 2nd fl. terrace overlooking the pool.
Under the terrace there's a covered patio and an outdoor kitchen.
The huge patio has a pavilion and a garage door to a rec room.
Open this door and there's a full-size bar.
And a pool table area. This is a true party house.
Under the pavilion there are lighted fans, a chandelier, and a storage cabinet.
This is all on a 0.32 acre lot just 15min. from the New Orleans French Quarter.

This is (was) a 1959 Craftsman in Camarillo, CA. The only reason I know it's a Craftsman is b/c the listing says it is. It's been renovated and is no longer a Craftsman. 4bds, 4ba, 3,059sqft, price cut $51k to $1.399m.
It has a sunken living room. I was going to post it before I read that it's a Craftsman, and why they would even say that, I don't know. See the weird doorway and step on the left? That's the kitchen.
It's a large living room. The house was renovated in 2000 and again in 2021.
Check out the cement arch. I would imagine that stays, unless it's made of papier-mâché.
This is the dining room with a painted former brick Craftsman fireplace. The table is certainly different.
I'm going to say that the cabinetry is from the last reno in 2000 and they just had them painted blue.
In the rear corner they have benches with storage.
There's a water closet and I don't see a sink.
The spacious primary bedroom, (you can see the beams and the case opening that are most likely remnants of the old architecture), opens to the patio.
The bath is nice, and it looks like it's been renovated within the original footprint.
There's also a walk-in closet.
The spacious home office could be one of the bedrooms. It also has doors to the patio.
One of the other bedrooms. They're all very large.
They left this bath retro. The pink they chose kind of clashes, though.
Very large family room on the 2nd level.
Large bath has a cute vintage look.
The grounds are quite beautiful.
There's a brick patio.
The patio stretches along the length of the house and here there's a pretty pergola.
Then here they have a nice shady gazebo. The lot is 9,583.2sqft.
2 car garage on the side of the house.

This house was once a 1900 Victorian in Bozeman, MT, but it's had an elegant modern transformation. There are only hints of its former self, and even though it's beautiful, I'm not sure how I feel about what they did. 4bds, 4ba, 3,173sqft, asking $2.5m. Look at this and see what you think. Remember, it was a Victorian.
Foyer entry and the doors look Victorian, but I'm not sure if the hardware is original.
The classy new living room.
A new gold frame surrounds the fireplace.
The revamped powder room has a deep marble sink and an Eastern flair.
The moody kitchen is done in black and deep forest green with a light counter to offset the dark colors.
The eat-in kitchen's dining area features an L-shaped built-in banquette, wallpaper inserts, and plant shelving.
Main floor guest bedroom suite.
Has its own ensuite bath, newly renovated. All of the leaded glass windows are intact.
A closeup of the stairs show wallpapered kick plates with fringe borders. I've never seen that before.
Up here, there's a cozy retreat with a daybed and a wall of shelving. A section of the shelving is a secret door.
The hidden door opens to this bonus room.
This floor has very angular walls and ceilings b/c it's under the eaves. In other words, it's actually a finished attic. After living most of my childhood in an attic apt., I doubt if I would spend $2.5m for this.
The bedroom has a walk-in closet.
And, there's a lovely tile shower room up here, too.
The finished lower level is a partially submerged daylight basement and features a family room.
Another bath.
A nice laundry room.
And, another bedroom.
Above the garage they made a 1 bedroom apt.
There's a deck around the upper level of the house and a small side yard on an 8,842.68sqft lot.

Oh, no, someone in one of my groups got busted! She wrote, "Can someone help us name our new orange female maincoon?" (Firstly, it's Maine Coon and is this one?) He's a handsome boy, though.
Anyway, someone answered: Too bad it's not your cat.
(Thought you'd enjoy this.)

I have never seen this on a listing- "Active no offer." Usually, it simply says "Active, Pending, Under Contract, or Sold." It has artsy decor, but that will be removed. It's a renovated 1920s home in Appleton, WI. 4bds, 2ba, 2,316sqft, $349,900. Let's take a look inside, Nillionaires.
Well, so far I like the entrance. They seem to like big statues and they cannot lie. Frankenstein greets you at the door.
Okay, so it's an artsy home. I like it though, it's light, bright, I love the distressed fireplace chimney.
Here's what's up in the loft.
And, then the curved stairs lead up to the living room. I like this.
it's a combination living/dining room.
Love the fireplace in the stone wall. It simulates an old oven.
The large kitchen is beautiful. I can't believe there have been no offers. Look at this tile work and lovely wood cabinetry.
Then, off the kitchen there's a family room.
Here's a nice bath.
A very large bedroom with plenty of space for a desk area.
Spacious primary bedroom with a fireplace.
Wow, I didn't know that this was even a bathroom until I saw the tub. This is amazing.
And, finally, there's a rec room in the basement. I love this house and the price! Look at the log ceiling.
It has a deck. I wonder if the guards stay.
Maybe the garden statuary conveys.
Garages are under the house, and look at the fun chute.
Beautiful property.
0.72 acre lot. I love this house so much, and for that price, I can't believe it.
