It really makes me so damn angry how many autistic/ADHD people treat the neurodivergent label as the autism+adhd label. Neurodivergent includes ANYONE who's brain doesn't work the way it's supposed to. This includes people that have learning disabilities. People with down's syndrome. People with cluster A, B and C disorders. That includes systems/people with DID, that includes schizophrenics, that includes people with PTSD. If you have a group that is labeled for neurodivergent people, you cannot act surprised or offended if people that don't have autism or ADHD but DO have other disorders join that group. Because neurodivergent is an umbrella term. And everyone under that umbrella term deserves to be able to find community in groups named with that umbrella term.

De aging fics would never not be precious to me, even if the author has no idea of what real children are like and how they're actually not 80% cutesy 20% accidentally funny. Like, the old saying about children and drunks being the only ones telling the truth but apply it to vigilantes who are so used to keeping up appearances they sometimes can't even tell who the real them is.

Like, give me heartbroken baby Bruce showing a grief and vulnerability that his children technically know is there, but have never seen openly expressed. Just seeing Bruce be emotional in general feels like such a shock. It's not like the assumed he didn't have emotions... But maybe they don't always remember?

Give me tiny Dick just infuriatingly pointing out all of the things older Dick has the grace to pretend to not see. Young Dick expressing negative emotions with as much ease as joy, making it obvious how much he keeps under wraps as an adult.

Give me baby assassin Cass so absolutely delighted at being allowed to show love and be loved back that it absolutely destroys everyone because it's one thing to know about her past and a different one to experience it. Baby Cass who has no way of communicating yet but who soaks up everything they teach her, desperate to know how to express herself.

Tiny Jason who is such a delight despite everything. Who is very obviously traumatized by his life circumstances but has a zest for life that is so obviously missing from his adult version. Baby Jason proving that he wasn't too reckless or angry or emotional and everyone having to reckon with the fact that this precious baby is the one they've been blaming for his own death.

Happy go lucky Steph showing way more clearly the trauma of being raised in an abusive household than any of them have seen from her. Older Steph jokes about it and hates passionately her father, but there's a difference between seeing that and seeing a little girl flinching from the adults around her.

A very Tiny Tim who is not yet aware of how not normal it is for a kid to be able to sneak out most nights to photograph super heroes unnoticed. Who doesn't understand why it would be weird for his parents to go investigate their archeological sites leaving him in Gotham. What did they want them to do? Take him with them? It's not safe for a kid in most of those places and he gets to do whatever he wants. What's wrong with that?

Baby Duke who has not learned yet how to mask and is in full Neurodivergent display while everyone around him thinks "no, that actually makes sense". Just, baby Duke completely unaware of the situation cause his parents never forced him to conform. Everyone keeps taking notes as Duke explains how he does things like they're dummies because "duh, it should have been obvious!" (It's not obvious, his parents always accommodated him without making him feel different so he just thinks this is the standard).

Also as a bonus: actual baby Damian being the most adorable little hot patootie ever witnessed. They get to dress him in different costumes and do a photocall. They share it with Talia and she sends them back a bunch of equally silly old baby photos.

*all of the brothers have just finished a family dinner with MC. The food was nice, but their human has been oddly quiet throughout the whole meal. As the finished plates are getting stacked up, they shoot each other worried glances*

Satan: *whispers back* So you've noticed...?

Asmo: *comes up behind Satan and joins* Did anyone upset them today? Like you, Mammon?

*while those three keep whispering, Beel comes over to collect MC's plate. They've been sp checked out that they've barely touched their food at all, they just keep bouncing their leg under the table*

Beel: MC? ... Are you going to finish that?

*his question makes MC snap awake briefly, turning to look at him like a deer in headlights before shaking their head*

MC: N-no! No, uh... I'm fine. Go ahead, Beel.

*they push the plate towards him before going back to staring at the table blankly. Beel eats their forgotten meal, but frowns at them between bites*

Beel: Really-mmphhg-? Are you-*gulp*-sure?

MC: *bounces their leg more rapidly, nodding* Yep. Yep. Totally fine!....

*Mammon finally steps away from Satan and Asmo and nudges Beel to the side*

Mammon: Are ya really sure? 'Cause you don't look fine...

MC: *continues to stare at the table like they're mentally screaming inside, at this point nearly vibrating at an atomic level*

MC: Yep, uhm-hm, all fine, totally good!

*Mammon's about to pull their chair back from the table, but Levi suddenly jumps in between them. For once, the timid otaku looks actually confident about something. Damn near certain in fact!*

Levi: Don't worry, I got this. Leave it to me!

Levi: *takes a seat next to MC*

Levi: MC. Is there something you're hoping to talk about right now?

*MC nearly breaks their neck with how quick they turn to face him, eyes locked on and body finally going still. Slowly... an ecstatic grin starts to brighten their face*

*MC keeps talking a mile a minute while Levi nods along happily and the other brothers look at them like they're aliens, but also seem visibly relieved...*

People who claim that Aang was a terrible, abusive father to Bumi and Kya and that he never cared about them are so odd to me because like... did you guys not have like parents who work? Or siblings who connect with one parent more due to common interests?

Like kids interpret situations that are not about them as about them. Like when my dad had brain surgery and memory issues due to it and kept forgetting who I am, I thought he genuinely hated me. And I still talk about it in therapy lol. Cause that shit sticks with you, even though my father was always a kind man.

Or when my sister and my dad both obsess over their fave football team and I don't really have that much of an interest in sports but I still feela bit left out.(my father's West Ham obsession is tearing this family apart.)

Like. Loving, amazing parents make mistakes or accidentally hurt their children's feelings. Usually because they're dealing with their own shit. Flawed parents doesn't automatically equal abusive parents.

Sorry for not posting art in a while. I was putting my all into this one particular project. It’s my first time animating complex expressions, voice sync, and body movement so it drained me to hell. Yet it still came out a hot bloody mess.
