I've got a book to recommend to y'all! I've read the prologue and I am already hooked! I've ordered my copy from Barnes and Noble, but I wanted to share with the rest of y'all so you too can read it!! You may have heard of it already:

A tell-all memoir, about Wynn-Williams' time at Facebook. Meta and Zuckerburg are trying desperately to prevent this book from being distributed. An arbitrator has barred Wynn-Williams from promoting her own book.

So far, the book has been a bestseller, but Meta and Zuckerberg are still trying to stop it from going any further. Personally, I hate to see Zuckerberg getting his way, so I will be promoting this book to as many people as I can, since they've barred Wynn-Williams from doing so herself.

No but why is Karen and Wally bonding over being the only not rich kids on the team everything—

It's literally giving me life. The Titans, Teen or otherwise, have a serious lack of grounded characters (and not in a 'no powers = grounded' way).

Wally has always been that character. He's always been the everyday, average normal guy living among billionaires royalty and demigods. (Which is wild because he should not be that normal with his power set and abilities)

Karen and Mal were also grounded characters in the og Teen Titans (which, again, was really needed cause Dick did shit like handing strangers thousands of dollars to keep quiet about his friend's antics and Roy went off and did shit like buying a bar on a whim at 16 and Donna and Garth had no concept of money or consequences) but unfortunately the series never really explored that aspect of their characters.

But now??? Now when Roy complains that Wally doesn't have a helipad at his house Wally doesn't have to 'Jim the camera'. Wally has a whole ass person to text this shit to!!! Karen can Snapchat Wally about how Donna thinks healthcare comes from purple laser beams and has zero concept of insurance. They aren't alone!!!

And honestly I love it so much.

Venom: The Last Dance was such a joke. Short falling plot, horrible writing, redundant action scenes, and probably the most disrespectful death I’ve ever seen given to a main character. If your story ends with one of the lead protagonists getting dissolved in acid and also exploding, you’ve done something seriously wrong. The movie literally ended with a flashback montage playing over Memories by Maroon 5, so I think that tells you everything you need to know about the film.

There was no ship attached so I created one based on something that has been tickling the back of my brain for a while now. Set in a universe I've been thinking about where the Time Quangle was manipulated by a group of billionaires, but one extra was created so all the Intrepid Heroes get sent into New York to defeat the billionaires.

“This is the worst idea you’ve ever had.”

“It is not!” Fig hisses, yanking at Adaine’s arm. “See? People are already paying attention to us more than anything else in here. Riz will be able to get in and out of that family’s restaurant in minutes.”

“I am unsure anyone is going to be that interested on the two of us going on a – a – a presumed date in that douchebag’s restaurant,” Adaine says. She wants to reach out and grab Fig’s hand, but she’s not sure if she’s allowed to. Even if this is al supposed to look real.

“The douchebag's parents’ restaurant,” Fig corrects. She boops Adaine on the nose and, frankly, it’s a little startling. Adaine’s not used to be prodded like this, in a romantic kind of way. She’s not sure how she feels about it, which is strange all by itself. Usually she hates it. “Come on. Hold my hand.”

Adaine feels herself turn a bit pink, all the way to the tips of her ears, and it’s hard to walk into the restaurant even though people are talking. Maybe that’s actually why it’s hard. “Or,” Fig says slowly. She slides her arm around Adaine’s waist and leans in, lips at Adaine’s ear. “Ayda likes it when I hold her close when it’s busy like this.”

“Should we really be discussing your girlfriend while we’re undercover as going on a date?” Adaine whispers. Fig’s hand is incredibly warm. It’s cozy.

“Ayda would love to have you on board, if you were up for it,” Fig says, and it’s so casual Adaine almost misses what she’s really saying. She’s stunned enough that she allows Fig to guide her to the little table, right in the middle of the restaurant, and enough eyes are on the two of them and hostess as they sit that no one even notices Riz duck into the kitchen. “But anyway,” Fig says loudly, “I’m so glad you agreed to come out with me. One date, and you’ll see.” Fig winks.

And Adaine, who rarely has this reaction, feels something uncommon but not fully unknown, flutter in her stomach.

“My dad taught me how to read, and I had a lot of books.” Dani tells Jason. Then her face falls.

“I guess I should’ve known… if I was really his daughter he would’ve taught me more.. about school and.. all this other stuff.” She gestures to the air.

Her head lowers. “Stuff other than about my original and how to catch him.” Her voice wavers, bitter and full of venom. There’s heartbreak there too, and shame. She doesn’t hide it, either because she’s too young or she trusts Jason.

Jason grips her shoulder and pulls her slightly into his side. He knows she won’t melt or disappear into the air anymore but he still feels the need to hold her together. There’s something heavy in his chest and a sound coming from his throat that isn’t human.

She looks up at him with her eyebrows scrunched up and her mouth in a slight grimace and then hugs him back, burying her face into Jason’s stomach.

“I know,” he says with his human mouth. “It’s not your fault. Fuck him.” he grinds out. Jason knows he can’t be the person she needs. He’s too fucked up, his life is too dangerous and he’s got too many irons in the fire to not draw unnecessary dangerous attention towards her. But she needs someone in her life looking out for her- to trust without it being a mistake.
