ride 4 or 5 of the season, we've finally managed to stop needing to run around like a llama in the canter and have remembered how to use our back and neck properly.
Of course she's still going around on a 14' stride... but I can loosen the reins and she doesn't just peace the fuck out, so that's nice.
I'm going to try to get out more now that the weather is nicer, and start doing some more polework now that we have re-established we know how to function.

Today's gameplay progress:
I finished Myths of the Realm! I enjoyed the alliance raids a lot more than I thought I would, honestly, even if I did have to have the camera zoomed all the way out to get my bearings most of the time. (It helped that I was playing with people who mostly seemed to know what they were doing, including my level 90 friend.)
My friend and I also managed to get through Mount Ordeals - I didn't even die, somehow! - so I'm now done with patch 6.3 as well!~

I took this, to commemorate the event ^-^

typical monday meal prep. made seasoned rice, bok choy, and chicken. later in the week i’ll make some fried rice w high protein tofu from trader joe’s. also got 3lbs of kiwi for lunches this week 😋
feeling beefy today, weighed in at 142.2 lbs. not gaining as much as I want but also not losing so that’s great. plus my lifts have been going well and my muscles are growing so I know I’m on the right track 😊

This Hideduo fic that turned into me ranting about q!Fit's disabilities and q!Pac's disabilities is coming along great but it's probably going to be a "5 times" piece which means that I need to reorganize my notes again. But I'm cool with that, I'm really enjoying how this is turning out, even if it's not what I wanted it to be when I first started writing it.

Today marks my seventh day of tracking macros. While hitting my goal of 102g of protein a day is still a work in progress, I've stuck to my caloric deficit of 1362 kcal.
Tracking has made me more aware of how much I used to overeat, and I'm thankful for that realization. Allowing myself to enjoy some dark chocolate in moderation has been a nice treat that still fits into my caloric allowance.
Being in a caloric deficit has also changed how I see physical tasks. Now, I view them as a way to burn extra calories and get stronger.
I've noticed improvements too – more energy and avoiding late-night eating has led to better sleep. I've somewhat intuitively stopped eating after 4 pm, and that's worked well for me.
Paying attention to my water intake and taking my supplements regularly also gives me a sense of accomplishment. These little wins keep me going as I look forward to making more progress.

The Power of Progress Tracking to Achieve Your Goals
Let’s start with an innocent question: Are you on a quest to become the best version of yourself?  If the answer is yes, you are not alone. Roughly 7 in 10 women think they are not good enough. Low self-esteem is on the rise, and 90% of women admit they would love to change the way they look. The quest for perfection is a never-ending story, and one that is deeply anchored into unrealistic…

Guys I switched from jumping rope in the backyard on dirt/sparse crushed grass to jumping on the brick path in front of our door and uh. Two days of that and I’m already getting signs of shin splints.
I’m not doing anything too crazy or too hard. Probably jumping too high and being too forceful or slamming my feet. It’s a shame really, but I have to take a two day break to see if that will fix the pain that’s building. I was really excited that I was actually doing this daily.
I ordered some of those gym puzzle mats that I can put out when I jump once I get back to it. I’ll start on the dirt again and alternate days on the mats in front and the dirt in the backyard.
....If anyone has tips for beginners doing speed rope and how to keep form properly, hit me up?
