Did 3 back to back days of stairmaster workouts last week (10, 12, & 13 minutes) and as a result I can now stand up without putting my hands on the ground in my roller derby class! At the beginning of the first 6-week class, they said you need to go from taking a knee to standing while you're hands are in the air, and I struggled to get up from the ground at all. We're now stating the next round of 6-week classes and it's such a stark difference! This is such a great non-scale milestone!!!

I burnt 471 calories at the gym yesterday and I’m happy about that. I’d like to incorporate some more strength training into my routine, but I won’t rush into it. I’m over the cold I had last week so I’m aiming to go to the gym 5 days this week. Wish me luck!

I set myself a challenge this week (from Sunday) to do the stair master at the gym on level 8 none stop for half an hour every day. Today is day 4 and I can’t wait for day 7 to come. It’s such a killer 😭 my legs are aching so bad today.

I watched time move backwards while on a stairmaster!
I swear I had been on it for over 3 minutes and got on at 10:59am but my watch only said 11:01
Anyway I made it "5 minutes" and 7 flights of stairs before tapping out.
I watched 20 seconds tick by on the display and it was the longest 20 seconds of my life
