Everyone needs to get a friend like @musiccub 💙 Tonight the two of us are sharing the same air as some of the biggest powerhouses in the United States such as @nygovcuomo and @senkgillibrand 🇺🇸They both have made life easier for the LGBT community in NY through their actions 🏳️‍🌈 I was touched to hear them both spend much of their time talking about the need to fight for the Trans Community. The Senator even began to choke up while talking about a trans boy she knows 😢I feel so privileged to be at the @hrcgreaterny Gala. I dream that one day I can be on a stage like them, helping make the world a better place, speaking out for the less privileged. Oh yeah and my idol the Amazon @carmen_carrera is here too. For so long I had been focusing do much on my body and mind. Investing in their transformation and the deep need for change. The way I was living prior to making taking care of myself was unhealthy to say the least, and was leading me down a very dark path with a very limiting future. I chose to take control and get off that path and take the dirt road of a journey towards truly healing and knowing myself. I committed to much to this that I didn't realize that a key part of the ideal & required balance was missing. And that's the investment in healing and knowing my spirit. So I went to town on giving that the attention and time it needs. Butit appears I still have alot to learn about balance, because in investing in my spirit I have begin to let me physical health stop being a priority & therefore my mind has become effected too. So I share this for accountability and in effort of removing this pressure I lay on myself to have it all figured out "perfectly" - seriously the term perfect is such an ugly word. But that's a topic for another day. So tomorrow is the beginning of getting intentional and creating conscious balance, healthy habits and my ideal lifestyle. Taking care of myself - mind. Body.
