Calling yourself a radfem and then trying to justify being in a sexual relationship with mEn because he agrees with your beliefs just doesn’t get me.
Not only are you stupid, but also too oblivious of male nature to be a radfem!!
Of course, he doesn’t mind you not shaving your body hair! Of course, he is gender critical and is okay with you not putting on makeup and rejecting femininity! Of course, you talk about how much you hate men and he, being a man, nods in agreement with every negative thing you say about his own gender.
But not because he is some rare kind of his breed who surprisingly have common sense, but because he doesn’t give a fuck about anything as long as you are giving him what he needs — SEXUAL FAVOURS!!!!
No matter how many times you try to tell yourself (and others) that heterosexual relationships benefit both men and women because both are gaining pleasure, you will always be wrong!
Men are not like women. They do not care about healthy, casual intimacy as they do not have any romantic interest in you. Men are creepy, sex-starved creatures who are desperate for sex.
Men have been raping women since the dawn of time. Even when this toxic beauty culture wasn’t a norm, men would rape women; women with body hair, women without makeup, women they'd find attractive, women they’d not find attractive.
So don’t assume your so called boyfriend — or worst, husband — is in love with you. Take away the sex from the table for a whole 1 year and he will take away himself from your life.
"Casual sex benefits both men and women" is the biggest lie made up by the leftist side of the patriarchy sold to women. And as long as you’re buying into their shit, you are not fully awakened to call yourself a radfem.
And the worst part of all of this is the fact that your standards are so beneath the core of the earth.
Learn to value yourself!! And as i always say, raise your standards to a level so high that you come to a point where you realise none of these men deserve you.

James: If we had a ship name what would it be
Regulus: Jegulus, obviously
James: not blotter?
Regulus: Why the fuck would it be blotter
James: Our last names! when we get married we have to mix them together
Regulus: James, thats not how lastnames work
James: Well I'm not taking yours, I'm a feminist
Regulus: James what-
James: ROTTER! FINAL ANSWER
Regulus: THAT MAKES EVEN LESS SENSE

persona misogyny is so fucking wild. ignoring literally everything else about the entire rest of the games, every single s.link with a female character is like “entirely for having been born a woman i have had to work twice as hard for a fraction of the benefit. even now, i am stripped of my agency in a position i never wanted in the first place” and/or “i’m put on a pedestal by the people in my life because of my looks. men see me as an object to be conquered, women hate me for ‘stealing’ ‘their’ men. if i’m withdrawn i’m a bitch, if i’m friendly i’m easy. because of this, i’m alone” and/or “because of my personality or hobby or lack of cooking skills, i feel like i’m failing at femininity. if being a woman is something i can fail at, then where does that leave me? i’m scared at the loss of my identity and place in society”
like very consistently they present female characters with complex thoughts towards their place in society as women, femininity as a whole, and facing issues stemming from misogyny, and then the payoff is always “my problems were entirely my own fault. i wasn’t strong enough, i was a coward. but now, i’m gonna work hard to be exactly what society expects me to be (which is what i want to be)! i’m gonna do better at femininity (which is still something tangible i can fail at)! i’m going to try hard at making friends (which was my fault for not doing)! all my problems are solved through personal responsibility (that im totally culpable for), effort (which i previously was not putting in), or you, a man! i am Happy and Satisfied with this outcome, can i be Your woman?”
and like hello? why are we here. what the fuck are we doing. why do we keep doing this every single time. can we not do the constant lukewarm attempts at criticizing misogyny so you can jerk off to your own thoughtfulness, while ultimately reinforcing patriarchal systems and brushing off any deeper misogyny-bred issues as a lack of deference to one’s rightful place in society? like maybe don’t do that? for fucking once? just an idea

mattel is owned by an israeli who was promoting the ~october 7th “documentary” (propaganda)
so maybe less caping for the barbie movie and crying about how it was “snubbed” when it got at least 5 noms too many lmfao
like… the oscar’s TO THIS DAY are racist as hell, are used to distract from real life atrocities, and here you are crying about a billion dollar movie not getting enough noms
free promo to go into mattel’s ceo’s zionist pockets lmfao.

I think I'm one of the few M4F audio roleplay/boyfriend ASMR channels that consistently passes the Bechdel Test lmao. It's not something I ever set out to do, I just think it's funny.
Bechdel passing scenes: - Episode 3 of Against the World: AK-4'7" and Asset plan their attack while Walter is held prisoner off screen. - Episodes 3 and 5 of The Neon Barbarian: Raven's conversation in the elevator with Acid Rain and Raven's conversation in the record room with Dannie - All three episodes of Neon Wings (Raven's PTSD meltdown, the airport check in scene and taxi ride, Raven's conversation with the nurse at the hospital) - Episode 4 of My Greasefire Life: the women's restroom scene - Episode 3 and 5 of Blue Infinity: When Francesca takes Lass hostage and when Lily explains the treasures of Neptune while Fletcher is asleep. - Episode Six of Chronus Seven: Sydney gives her vengeful speech to Future Wife while Benji is presumed dead. - Episode Five of Matador Gothic: Carmen discusses the consequences of vampirism with Guest. - Episode Four of Der Wolfsjäger: Schäfer's encounter with Irene in the woods.
I think there's more that I'll probably remember later but still. I know the Bechdel test is a super arbitrary test based on a joke, but I still find this amusing because I can't think of many others that pass it so consistently.

Sorry, but I just don’t buy the “he doesn’t know any better” excuse. Oh, he treated you poorly, but it’s okay because you spent two hours explaining your feelings, and now he promises to never do it again? Oh, he uses misogynistic slurs, but it’s fine because no one ever told him what those words actually represent? Oh, he’s an utterly useless partner who does nothing around the house and makes your life harder, but it’s okay because his mom used to do everything for him, so he’s just “used to it,” and it’s not like he’s being malicious?
Do y’all hear yourselves?
No one ever had to teach me that treating the people I care about with empathy, respect, and consideration is the bare minimum. No one had to sit me down and lecture me on why the people I love deserve my support and kindness. I treat them well because I love them. This isn’t some complex, ungraspable concept.
If he’s “incapable” of treating you decently, maybe it’s not because he hasn’t been “educated.” Maybe it’s because he doesn’t want to—or doesn’t care enough to try. Why he doesn’t want to (male socialization, never being called out on his self-serving and abusive behaviors, simply not liking you enough to) is irrelevant. The fact is: he doesn’t want to. Point, period, blank.
Stop wasting your energy trying to teach a grown man how to be decent. Go invest that energy into yourself, your growth, your peace—anything useful. You’ll see your life start to flourish in ways you never imagined possible.

Fucked up thought as I do material spec: transmasc Eddie Munson who gets bullied and called a guy because of how he dresses and acts (transphobic so bad they looped back to what Eddie wants on accident) dating Steve post S2, who knows and supports him, but still has to misgender his bf in public until they can get out of Hawkins. Eddie fails again, they get in a fight about whether they should leave, and aren’t broken up, but aren’t really together as S3 starts. So when Eddie visits Scoops, Steve is so happy to see him that he calls him Eddie and he/him in public, just like the bullies, and can’t explain to Robin, who is absolutely pissed that Steve is treating her Eddie like that.

Noticing that TV and film will often have a character either have had an abortion in the past that isn't showcased on screen (and just used as part of the character's ~fucked up and twisted backstory~) OR contemplate getting an abortion in the present day but not to through with it. Just once I want to see someone delete that fetus within the events of the plot and not be like. Extremely majorly punished for it and/or be in the wrong
#ramblings of a lunatic#was watching a tv show w the fam recently and it's the 2nd series of a show that was clearly written with only 1 in mind#so in the 2nd season a character gets pregnant (bc ofc) and contemplates getting an abortion#only to do the whole 'omg she thinks she's lost the baby and realizes she wanted to keep it all along!'#which like. fine and valid and happens to ppl irl I'm sure#but like. this season doesn't establish if she wanted kids prior or if she has a stable job (she was struggling career wise-#-last season and the timeskip this season doesn't go into it)#AND has this fucking bizarre scene w/ her boyfriend (whos mostly been irrelevant and occasionally annoying up til now)#where he says it's 'our pregnancy' that she was going to terminate and when she (rightfully) bites back-#-saying 'you mean MY pregnancy?!' he just. storms off and deflects#which would be one thing but we have to wrap up the main plot so she just apologizes to him (for other plot stuff)#and we're never given any indication that his opinion has changed and they're just happily parenting at the end of the season#which just. left a bad taste in my mouth#like I KNOW i know not every bad thing said on screen needs a big blinking arrow that points out that it's Bad and Wrong#but idk how I'm supposed to feel in a series that has painted itself as explicitly feminist up til this point#presents the outcome of a woman dating and bearing a child for a man w seemingly zero respect for her bodily autonomy as happily ever after#w no follow up#like the whole series is centered on a group of sisters and this pregnancy story happened to the youngest one#who's always seen as needing to 'grow up' in season 1. so assuming this is meant to be building off that arc it's so WEIRD still#bc yes being a parent is an opportunity for many ppl to mature emotionally but that's not really something the character-#-reflects on all season. it's more abt her burying her past relationship w a season 1 guy (who was infinitely more interesting than new guy)#-than anything to do with that#AND EVEN IF IT WAS the notion of pregnancy as a punishment/reckoning meant to make her grow up or take responsibility-#-which is secretly a blessing in disguise i. god the show fell apart so hard here for me#and my mom and sister were just cooing over the baby at the end and i didn't speak up bc i didn't want to be a bitch#and in all fairness I'm probably being a tad uncharitable in this post but like. don't piss me OFF man#anyway. normalise abortion storylines that aren't backstory fodder and aren't fakeouts for baby plots. please

let me be so fr y'all. i will NEVER shame a woman for having a man that treats her right. okay? that's always going to be a win, why would i complain about that? i just think that most of y'all that say you found him are fckn lying.
like i've watched women in dv situations lie through their teeth. they'll lie to their besties who know them freckle to freckle about their bruises. it doesn't even have to be abuse. i know how much women lie to keep up appearances with other women and i'm just saying i'm not buying it with most of y'all. that's my truth. and i start having issues when you start lying about that reality to younger women who will most likely just end up in the same shitty relationship bc of the false hope women in mid-to-shitty relationships with men espouse. and i can tell they're lying even MORE when they start trying to talk about how "women aren't necessarily better" whether that's about celibate or same-sex-partnered women. they'll drag their own female friends in order to convince everyone else that their man is truly the real deal as a status symbol. they'll shit on what their friends do for them in order to justify their veneration of this mid-ass moid. i've just seen it happen too many times, and that's why i think it's justified that radfems draw parallels between het-partnered feminists and liberal women who cling to femininity. y'all talk the exact same most of the time and even have the same arguments.
anyways.

Feminism lost its teeth since capitalism and the patriarchy co-opted it let's be real. But nobody wants to think about how being a feminist (and feeling """morally superior""") is much easier when you can say every choice you make is a feminist choice bc you're a woman than if you actually had to change your lifestyle in a way that goes against society and its expectations/norms to actually fight against the patriarchy.
