i saw their production live (the first time ive ever seen this show live or a production by this company) and it was AMAZING. this is my favorite cast for this show hands down and let me show you some stuff and why you should love them, too !!

here are all of the spellers! arent they the cutest :3 they all portray their characters PERFECTLY, and im currently on a hunt to see all of them in more performances because WOW . i know the point of the show is for it to be obvious these arent preteens playing them but all three of the girls were so cute honestly id trust them if they said they were it was so good. im gonna talk about all of them too !;;

their leaf was obsessed with sonic (sporting a nice sonic cape), and had a very good dynamic with every character and audience member he interacted with ! he say by me when he was eliminated and we talked a bit, and met his actor after the show. ALSO, playing logainne's dad with his soda and being the soccer mom ever is 100% approved by me . the way he effortlessly exchanged between the two roles was . AH.

olive was PERFECT. i cried at the i love you song so bad her little pom poms and im just mhejkn, her fidgeting with the strings of her cat hoodie whenever she was nervous was a great detail just small things like that

CHIP. chip chip chip. boy scout of the year, and JESUS ON A SCOOTER. he was so sassy and his little shenanigans made this character so good hed bite his lip and do little faces like that all the time he never broke id trust this man with my life

barfee , so nerdy i cannot resist this guy. he looks like he smells like hamburger and you know what? perfect. meeting him afterwards, he said that his shoes (for magic foot) were glow up sketchers and both of them were supposed to glow but only ONE did (the other broke) a few nights before and what a champ because he just went with it and CHANGED THE FOOT HE WAS USING to match the one that glew. i wouldve had a breakdown but go richard brown. through the whole show his bad accent and wet dog looks intrigued me

marcy was literally perfection, she had ME stressin out for her. i was sitting by the actresses' grandma and she was so fond of her its so cute. her singing voice is AMAZING there is a clip online i know of its on the theatre's tiktok but to hear that in person when its the song that got me into the show was wow. i relate to her very much and she made this character so personal even with just being in bits and pieces of the show

and finally, logainne. god she was SO FUNNY. the interactions between her and her dads, as well as the other spellers, were hilarious but also so real feeling. her actress, taylor,'s dedication to this role really showed and it worked awesome in the character. her appearance and outfit is the BEST for logainne btw??? no ones talking bout that its so so her ...,

^ also since i mentioned leaf's water bottle, logainne had a pride one + barfee had a pokemon cup. i think olive had one but if she did it was in the bleachers so i couldn't see, but i love how all of their bottles (yes even something just SMALL LIKE THAT) represent their characters the details in this show are sjsjd

rona. again, had me crying in the stands. she was adorable the whole show though, with her little quips and interchanges !! her + panch were so funny and also shes GORGEOUS?? but her soccer mom teacher type deal is exactly what i picture rona as.

panch reminded me very very much of ron swanson. he was so sarcastic and hes just such a big guy with all these kids it played off so well !! i love so many different interpretations of panch like twink panch and butch panch, but i think this burly panch with his soft, creepy side for rona was my favorite !

and now, lastly, mitch. HE KEPT BUSTING OUT AS THE SIDE CHARACTER WITH THE AMAZINF SINGING VOICE AND IT CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD EVERY TIME ??? mitch himself was so so awesome, the tattoos and drug apparell (i am struggling spelling that) fit so well. and also, he just looks so mitch mahoney doesnt he?? like. the character fits the actor so well id be shocked seeing anything else from them because mitch was the perfect role... again, his brief dynamic with all the kids is so goofy

it was so cute and the details in the posters on the wall were so childish it made me giggle. they even advertised their theatre's next production, which will be urinetown!! they had seats ON the stage (which is where i sat, naturally), which i think makes for a fun and realistic effect !! when the spellers were eliminated, theyd sit there (they had reserved spots) :3

its evident that all of the cast members had very good relatioships and play off that REALLY well

I have readdd The Twelfth Day of July by Joan Lingard, it's a book about this guy and girl and the guy is a cath and the girl is a protestant and how they hate eachother and its really good, I love it a lot. I also read all of Diane Olivers short stories while at irish camp, they're really good and I totally reccomend her stuff, I think you would like some of her more scary short stories, a lot of her stuff is unpublished though cuz she was died at age 22 and she really needs more recognition, like when I looked up her most famous story I couldn't even find her other stuff at all.

Games I played Alan Wake about this guy (who is an author) who goes on holiday to this island and his wife goes missing so Alan has to investigate it while this story that he doesn't even remember writing becomes a reality, there's a second one I just haven't played it yet. I played The Quarry about a group of young adult camp counsellors who have to stay one day extra before they get to go home but there's creepy stuff on the property that wants to kill them and it's so good my fave character is my profile picture, we love Dylan Lenivy.

THENNN I played A Way Out with my brother set in the same prison as Shawshank Redemption, these 2 criminals set a plan to escape prison and get their revenge on the guy who murdered one of the mens brothers and well the other one kind of gives away the whole story so I won't go into detail on that one but it's depressing, it's a little disturbing and you get attached to Leo and Vincent the main guys.

Ive just been chilling this last month before school starts again and hanging out with my friends, I was going to go to NI for a while but there's protests and people setting streets on fire so I'm not going anywhere near there for now.

This is from an AU I have!! It's an Alien au :) Dione sounds like BMO btw🫶🏽

Josh was sitting in his room playing video games as per usual. He was getting a little bit hungry, but he had to finish this level nothing is going to stop him at this point, he’s a killing machine. As he plays he feels the ground beneath him shake, he thinks nothing of it thinking he might be hallucinating. Until he hears it, a loud crashing noise right outside his window he jumps and then dies in his game and he groans. He sighs and rolls his eyes getting up to go see what it was.

As he gets to the door a bright flash of light shines, its bright green. He stops at the door and peers outside he’s scared to go out there now, but he sucks it up.

Josh walks outside and glares into the dark as he gets closer to what he made out as some type of object he falls back onto his ass as a hatch of some sort opens”W-What the hell!”He exclaims and backs up.

Some sort of feminine figure stands then slumps over and falls out of the ship or ufo or whatever it was. She’s big, she looks to be 7’ and she looks dangerous. She looks human, but at the same time he can tell that she isn’t human at all. The way her mouth seems to have sharp teeth that sit on her cheeks and her eyes just shined green as he saw before she fell. And there’s four eyes she has! And antennas?

He gets closer to her and stares down at her he has no way of bringing her inside because he’s only 5’5 which is going to prove to be a problem. He grabs a stick and pokes her with it”Hey..!?” He does it again a bit harder that woke her up quick. She stands and pounces on him her mouth opening wide, like Venom’s mouth does and her long tongue falls from her mouth and drool from her tongue falls onto his face as he struggles to get away.

Josh manages to reach the stick and hits her with it which causes her to become a bit disoriented giving him a chance to push her off. She glared at him as she gathered herself her eyes glowing a faint red now as she stared at him with her brows furrowed. She closed her mouth and growled slightly at him.

He gulps”Hey i-i mean no harm to you..”Josh says and holds his hand out to this creature who landed in his back yard. She stood slowly and got closer, she’s towering over him as she roughly grabbed his hand and stares at him”I am Dione.” It spoke. Josh stares up at it or Dione as she called herself nervously.

It seems she learned his language just by touching him, but she needs to know more. She roughly grabbed the back of his head and kissed him, her lips are surprisingly soft and he loses air a bit quick because the kiss leaves him breathless.

As Josh falls to the ground as the alien girl let him go. Dione peers at him”You are Human Joshua, I am Dione.”She spoke and walked past him right into his home.

He quickly gathers himself, that kiss has his face all red as he quickly follows her”You can’t just kiss me then walk into my house!” He says angrily, but with fear and she turned to glare at him”You do not tell me what to do.” She said and walked into his kitchen”I am hungry give me food, now!”She demanded.

He crossed his arms despite his fear”N-No!” He stuttered and that made her angry so she grabbed his fridge snatching it out of the wall and she threw it at him, which she narrowly missed”W-What the fuck! Are you crazy!!?” He yells at her. Dione didn’t take too kindly to that”I will eat you and take over your overpopulated planet, then after I am finished tearing you limb from limb, Human Joshua, I will go for the offspring of this world and make sure no one can continue this planet.” She hissed at him her mouth starting to open again.

“Okay!! okay!! I’ll feed you!”He said holding up his hands in surrender and she closed her mouth”Good Human.” She sat down in the chair and it broke under her weight”You’re home appliances threaten me?”She growled at him and he quickly shook his head”N-No! I promise they are just flimsy!” He said quickly”C-Can you put my fridge back!?”He said and stared up at her”No I will not.”She said and crossed her arms leaving the kitchen to wander around and he followed her closely.

She growled at his presence”Leave me human!”She demanded and swiped at him with her claws which he dodged”You should be making me something to feast on or it will be your throat.”She said threateningly and he scurried off back to the kitchen.

Dione had found soft blankets and unfortunately found his room and she made a nest a pretty big nest. Josh figured she’d just eat anything so he brought her raw meat and some other things”H-Here..”He said quickly and set it next to her. She grabbed his arm”Savior? Aha..you?”She laughed and started to eat”Someone of your size and capacity is no Savior” He stared at her confused”W-What do you mean?” She tore the food to shreds”I mean I touched you and you seem to have some sort of affection towards me already, how unbearable. So I saw your memories.”She explained.

Josh stared at her”H-Hey these are my blankets” he said and frowned trying to grab one and she gave him a warning glare”If you wish to keep living on with hands I suggest you leave my nest alone human Joshua.” She threatens and he gulps and backs off”Stop calling me human Joshua it’s just Josh.” He spoke fearfully.

Dione rolled her eyes”Human Josh.”She said and got up leaving his room with him trailing behind. He could tell this was going to be a long night.

so, this comes to a head during a pride ran charity gala. it's this big fancy event where famous rich people were. the kardashians, apparently??, were there. anyway, the kids are there because they have no choice so they decide to split up and try to find more information on their parents cult.

nico and alex head to her mother's office to try and find security footage and video tapes (she runs a giant security company.) they get there and her computer is locked, but somehow alex knows the password and they get the stuff they need.

later the next night, nico and alex are processing all the files he'd downloaded to his laptop to try and see the footage and find out exactly what it was they'd found, and she asks him how the hell he knew her mother's password. and he comes clean and tells her how amy had found out the truth about their parents cult and she told him, and then someone found out she knew and killed her.

and nico loses her shit. she tells him off, harsh, about how fucked up it was of him to keep this from her, and everyone else, and how awful it was for him to see her die slowly over the past 2 years thinking her sister committed suicide and she didn't do enough and she wasn't there enough, when he knew the truth. and while granted, he had reasons for hiding it and keeping it a secret, and besides amy told him to. she had every right to get mad.

nico then starts ignoring alex like crazy, and all the while her and karolina are bonding more, and it's crazy homoerotic between them. mind you up till now, alex and nico weren't exactly together together, they kissed twice and were in that weird phase where it's like a mutual crush but they're not dating yet. that is completely over now. whatever she had for alex is gone.

wow, this is an awful look for my boy, i promise he doesn't suck as bad as it looks rn. in fact, the fandom used this one moment as a sort of general rubric to judge him and they all hated on him like shit. when he is so much more than just that. besides literally every other runaway has had their awful moments like this. no one says shit when chase (the straight cis white boy) pulls fucked up shit again and again, but oh alex is evil >:( sorry back to deanoru.

things with their parents eventually spiral and they find out the reason their parents have this cult is to keep alive a glowing evil alien. jonah. god i fucking hate jonah. he has a spaceship hidden in the earth, and it's finally dug up and powered up so pride is going to send him back finally.

naturally, the runaways wanna stop it. their school dance is that night, so they all use thay as an excuse, and the school is close to the dig site. they get all dressed up, and they all head to the school to throw their parents off. they plan to go sneak into the digsite and destroy the spaceship. btw the spaceship just being dug up has been causing insane earthquakes and if it actually takes off and goes to space, the earthquake that'll cause would be so big they'd all die.

they are all fully convinced they might not make it out alive and that this is honest to god the end of the world. stake are high tensions are high. nico and karolina go inside the school to find chase and gert who have been in there for a while and haven't come out and they were late. so while they're searching, karolina decides to finally go for it and kisses nico, fully convinced they wouldn't make it to tomorrow and this was her last chance. nico kisses back just as hard. but anyway they all run back to the car and sneak to the car.

they're caught by their parents who try to convince them to go back home where its safe and get away before jonah get there but they dont listen. he shows up and beats their asses. karolina then sacrifices herself to buy time for the rest of them to run away. nico screams and kicks and fights and refuses to leave her but she is pulled away.

nico is restless and keeps fighting with the others to go back. they've ran to the woods and hills of california btw. alex tries to reason with her and tells her that they need to regain their strength and that they can't go back without a plan. but nico is stubborn. the others try and reason they don't even know whether or not she's alive and that it's too big a risk to risk their lives.

anyway. karolina was being held in her mother's church. they get karolina back. and they're all living in the woods on the hills now. no money no home no anything. nico and karolina cuddle together and kiss again.

then alex gets some money (they don't know how) and theh try to get a bus or train away to somewhere until they find out their parents framed them for the death of one of the kids they killed and also for kidnapping molly (the baby of the group ; gert's little sister). they're all hurt and scared and confused and have no clue what to do.

Real talk wanting some advice nata speaks. 😅 so, my ex has had the biggest glow up since we broke up. She looks prettier, she smiles more, she’s working out, she’s improved professionally, she seems like a more mature and stable person. On the other hand, I haven’t been doing so well. I miss her, I’m sad, I spent all my free time with video games to distract myself, I’m just so broken. Does this mean that I was the wrong one and she was the right one? Was I a bad partner and now she feels free?

So, this is chaotic but I'll try to answer.

I can't tell you who was right and who was wrong because I don't know anything about your relationship, dynamic, and personalities. But I don't think that these things are either black or white. Probably, both of you are both right and wrong regarding how things went with your relationship.

I don't know what's your problem with her glow up. Are you jealous? Would it make you happy if she suffered? I don't know why you compare yourself to her either. Many people "glow up" after break ups and for many reasons. Some, yes, feel better because their relationship was shitty, others try to process their feelings and this helps them heal, some have this way to cope etc. This is not an indication that she doesn't miss you btw.

I'm sorry you haven't been doing well, but maybe this should be your focus right now. To see what you can do so you can heal and feel a little better. It's okay to miss her. No one knows what happens in the future, but I feel like right now you should prioritize yourself and your well-being.

They’d struck up a friendship almost instantly, from that first day that she moved in. He tried to help her with her boxes but he almost felt like he was holding her back, he got winded just going up and down the stairs on his own, let alone while he carried an entire box he later found out had been full of books. She laughed at him when he placed it down on her kitchen table and read the permanent marker label on the side. He still remembers how light her laugh had made him feel, how perfect it was.

From that first day things were just easy, effortless. He liked that he didn’t have to think around her, about work, about anything, he always felt so comfortable around her. Until that day.

The day that he couldn’t find his dustpan and brush after breaking a glass, so he went next door to see if she had one he could borrow. When he knocked on the door and heard a small ‘it’s open’, he walked in as normal, but nothing could’ve prepared him for the sight.

The furniture in her living room was pushed to the walls as she stretched in the centre of the room. He was sure there must’ve been a name for the pose she was in, but all he could concentrate on in that moment was how her body looked in the spandex of her leggings and sports bra. The smooth way her body contorted into strange shapes, the way her back arched so perfectly, and the way he could make out every curve of her body in a way he’d never really noticed before.

It’s a day he could never forget, even if his memory was normal. And part of him wished he could forget, because he knows that that’s the day he started treating her differently. It wasn’t easy or simple anymore. It was awkward and strange and he had a huge, stupid crush on her.

It doesn’t take long for her to notice the little changes in his behavior, the way he avoids her in the halls, or always seems to be inexplicably busy whenever she tries to make plans. And on the odd occasion that they do speak he never seems to be able to hold eye contact. It continues like that for a while until she just can’t take it for another second.

She waits until she knows he’s home, staring out the peephole at the door opposite hers until she sees him open it up and walk inside. She gives him about 5 minutes before she marches over and slams her fist against the door, a lot more urgent than necessary.

When he opens the door he looks tired and deflated, and his tie is undone, hanging around his neck. She can see the fatigue leave his features a second later, only to be replaced by a look of pure shock.

“Y/N?” he asks, like he’s not sure she’s really even there.

“Yeah, can I come in?” she asks, but she’s already maneuvering past him and into his living room like she’d done so many times before he’d gotten strange.

“What are you doing here?” he manages to get out once his shock subsides.

“What’s going on with you Spence? We’re best friends until one day you decide you don’t like me? What’s that about, I just have to pretend like I live next door to a stranger now?”

He looks like a deer caught in headlights. She’s not even sure she can see him breathing as his face begins to flush.

“I’m sorry” he breathes out first, “I wasn’t trying to- okay I was avoiding you, but it’s not because I don’t like you”

“Sure seems like it” she sighs, and for a second he looks heartbroken.

“No!” he blurts out, “It’s not that, I swear” he shakes his head, reaching out to touch her before retracting his grip, thinking the better of it.

“Then what is it Spence?” she looks at him with a softness now, with a pleading behind her eyes, and he can’t hold back anymore.

“It’s because I do like you” he says it like he’s relieved, like it had been gnawing at him, “Because I really like you”

“Like me?” she asks, the realization finally dawning. “As in...”

“As in... romantically?” he can’t look at her when he says it, closing his eyes as if he’s bracing for impact. But the next thing he hears is his favorite sound once again. She laughs at him. It’s not cynical, or rude, it’s the kind that’s filled with joy, and maybe just a little exasperation.

“Well I wish you’d’ve told me that sooner” she says once she’s calmed down, and when he opens his eyes she’s smiling at him, taking a step closer.

“You do?”

“Mmhmm” she nods, “That way, I could’ve let you know all about this crush I’ve been harboring on you for a while now.”

He doesn’t have time to think before she’s got her lips on his, soft and delicate against him. For a minute he can’t really understand what’s happening as her hands reach up to cup his face softly, and they stay there after she pulls back. Her thumbs gently grazing his cheekbones as she admires his shocked expression.

“You’ve had a crush on me?” is the first thing he thinks to say, and she nods, smiling up at him.

“Since that first day when you helped me move in” she admits, and the timeline clicks in his head. She’s wanted this longer than he even had. Something about it puts his mind at ease, the though of being desirable to someone like her just makes him swell with pride in a way he’s not even sure he understands.

BnHA Chapter 316: We've Had One, Yes, But What About Second Explosion

Previously on BnHA: Deku was all “[powers up like whoa because it’s time to end the fight]”, and he saved Overhaul from getting not-shot, and then smashed up Nagant’s arm with the power of his new rechargeable super knees. Nagant was all “yoooo this kid is crazy strong whaaaat, it’s like he’s some kind of protagonist or something.” Deku was all “I AM A PROTAGONIST, ACTUALLY, DO YOU WANT TO JOIN FORCES AND FIGHT BAD GUYS WITH ME?” Nagant was all “ah shit why the hell no -- ” and then AFO was all “SURPRISE” and everyone was all “?!?!?!” and AFO was all “TIME TO EXPLODE NOW” and made Nagant explode because he’s an absolute fucking dick. And then Hawks showed up, because Horikoshi just wanted to stuff as many plot points as humanly possible into a single chapter I guess.

Today on BnHA: Hawks is all “good job giving motivational shounen redemption speeches Deku but I’ll take it from here” and screams very earnestly right in Nagant’s face until she finally wakes up. Nagant is all “oh hey it’s my successor, you seem surprisingly unfucked-up from your own HPSC tenure, how did you manage that?” Hawks is all “fandom is going to love hearing this one, but basically it’s because I’m very upbeat and also I had the world’s best role model Endeavor to look up to,” and I swear this man stirs the pot on purpose, but damn it I still love him so damn much. Sometimes I wonder if this manga is just a weird dream.

Lady D is gonna be in the Rose DLC and here is why - WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

Okay so, I can´t be the only one to have noticed this. Or maybe yall already been there and done that and are like “duh”.

Either way, as I was watching the gameplay trailer for the Shadows of Rose dlc (which looks absolutely DOPE btw, October can´t come fast enough) there was one detail I immediately picked up on and was like “is this...can it be...HAVE MY (and yours I´m sure) PRAYERS BEEN ANSWERED?!?”.

What do I mean? Why take a look at this:

Take a look at the lower right corner. Something´s about to come up from god knows where (somewhere in the megamycete´s consciousness I´m sure) to make a grab for Rose, it seems. While that is slighty concerning it didn´t seem like a huge deal to me at first (cause we all know it´s gonna end well...I hope). Just your usual mold monster, we´ve all been there, done that. No biggies.

But then things got clearer...

Excuse my poor art job but that is CLEARLY a woman´s hand and not only that: said hand has got looong fingernails (again, my art job doesn´t do this justice) and holy, doesn´t that hand seem pretty fucking big to ya? I mean, look at how huge it is compared to Rose´s shoe. Some of you might say it´s the angle that´s making proportions look like this and it might be true to some extend. But watch the video again because it´s gonna become so much clearer seeing it in motion (and without my ugly doodle).

My theory on this is that our Lady is wanting some revenge for what Ethan did to her and her daughters. Because this is happening in the megamycete´s consciousness for sure and we all know by now that our dear Lords (and probably Ethan) are spending the rest of their (undead?) days there. Not sure how it all works yet.

Another thing I can imagine (and hope for) is the Lords might actually be looking for help? They knew from the very beginning how insanely powerful Rose is, always has been. Heisenberg even stated she was strong enough to take on Miranda - AS A BABY. And Miranda stated once that where Eveline was able to communicate with the mold and control it, Rose would basically be the mold...ruler? Able to control everyone connected to the megamycete and control the mold itself or something. As I´ve said, still not completely sure how it works.

So what if the Duke is truly the bad guy in this (cause he do seem like it) because we saw the way he´s been seemingly in control of these 3 mold monsters, which, it can't be a coincidence. It seems the daughters are gonna be back, albeit a bit...differently. But I digress...my point is that the Duke seems in control of things now and maybe that´s been the plan from the very beginning? Someone else on tumblr pointed out already that Duke pretty much had all the info he needed to decimate the Lords and MM. He just needed an idiot to carry out the plan (sorry Ethan).

So, what if Rose was somehow able to bring back anyone who died and ended up joining the megamycete´s records? We saw her holding a flask with what looked suspiciously like “New Vessel” written on it. She and the flask started to glow and that´s where the scene ends pretty much. Is it possible we´re gonna get an awesome showdown between Rose and the Duke - the true evil? The Lords, revived by Rose, joining in to save the day and get their freedom at last? (I want it so badly, PLS FREE MY BABIES)

Also, who is writing to Rose in the castle? Is it her father? One of the Lords? Hell, even Miranda?? (My bet is on Ethan because that someone clearly cares about Rose and wants her outta there ASAP...unless it´s a trap.)

And what about Mother Miranda? Are rumors true of her potentially being Rose´s biological mother? Because the similarities are...there. Could that (evil?) doubleganger of Rose maybe be an alternate version who actually ended up being Miranda´s daughter? Because we know the megamycete´s consciousness is a world where reality is twisted and warped beyond recognition. A “what if” scenario so to speak. But also, what about Mia? What happened to her? Did Rose lose control and kill her by accident? Is that why she wants her powers gone so badly?

Speaking of powers, is ANYONE gonna encourage Rose to NOT follow through with it? Because she IS the mold basically, so what happens without the power to control it? Is she even a real person without it (cause it´s gotta be like 90% mold, 10% water with her)? SO MANY QUESTIONS.

Oh and another thing I found noteworthy and also pretty dope is the name of the dlc. Considering the whole “Village of Shadows” thing, (the book and all that). There´s gotta be a connection, I KNOW there is, but my brain´s too tired to dwell on it any further after this analysis....for now.

And wow I´ve digressed hardcore considering all I wanted was to show a (the) lady´s hand. Whoopsie. Oh well, when inspiration hits you gotta roll with it.
