Apparently federal employees are the new scapegoat for the downfall of the United States..because we have more holidays and sick leave (which is still less than what other countries have) than most working class folks... Guess I'm part of the ruling class now guys 😔

Yes they take vacations but like..everyone should be able to do that??#isnt that what we are all striving for??#god forbid we have breaks #i got pissed off because some idiot wrote a 'response' video to the rich men from Richmond song #but its not a response video because the original artist WASNT TALKING ABOUT FEDERAL EMPLOYEES #of course all the maga idiots are singing its praises bc they just deep throat whatever they hear from fox news #its not a cushy livestyle. my department director has white hair from all the stress hes gone through #and he says he'll have to work the rest of his life #pensions havent been a thing in decades #so people want to put federal employees on the same shit level they are at...for what. browsing 2026 vacations that i won't be able to afford to let God know i trust Him to get me this job <3

#lilac rambles #i want to take my mommy to santorini and my dad to italy okay #the siblings can pay for themselves idgad #theyve always wanted to do a mediterranean cruise sort of thing and if we go in like '27 or '28 it can be a 30th anniversary thing for them #and an early 30th birthday thing for me #(they got married in october '97 and i was born in late september '98 dont you people even TRY to call me a bastard #anyway #it would just be very nice to do something like this #especially bc by 2028 my sister will be done with nursing school and my brother will have been done with electrician training for years #and hopefully my other sister will be done with whatever training for the trade she goes into so everyone but the baby would be #gainfully employed and she can just sleep on a couch or something lol #so we'd theoretically be able to split the cost of our parents' + e's tickets in a way that wouldn't be too expensive #we haven't all gone on vacation since my grandparents took us before my grandpa died and that vacay was in 2013 #so it would be fifteen years since the last one!#anyway. we'll come back to this in '28 and see what happens then lol

Byleth being a dancing professor is probably a highlight (and I love using Alfred so.... I had to boot up my game to get a screenshot of him with the Byleth emblem equipped lol...... and conveniently Diamant was next to him in the skirmish so I just moved him a space and then used engage to see the dance motion to screenshot. So Diamant gets comic honors doing absolutely nothing).

I just really like how 3H gives Byleth ALL these honors and titles and then Engage is like "yeah that's a teacher. that man is in the education system. he can dance, as a treat."

Before anyone reads this please remember this is just personal opinion please don’t yell at me for anything but if u disagree obv that’s fine!!!

Finally finally FINALLY watched OFMD s2 and I’ve just got to say what the actual FUCK just happened

Like I wanted some angst but somehow this felt like TOO sharp of a turn

Also maybe it’s because I binged it with my friend in one afternoon but did anyone else feel like even though it mostly made sense it felt disjointed and kinda rushed??? I felt like I couldn’t keep up with where everyone was at emotionally

Loved the new female characters but. They felt very lacking :/ I did really like Zheng but I’m very conflicted on her taking over the crew but You know. Whatever I guess

Also it was still funny but I felt like majority of the humor was missing :/

As for final thoughts. FUCK that ending my baby is NOT DEAD AND YOU CAN PRY IZZY FROM MY WRETCHED AND DAMNED DEAD HANDS (I got a little lucky in this regard, I saw a spoiler for his death a couple weeks ago so I could prepare myself) also fuck Ed and Steve becoming innkeepers sorry but no

Idk man the ending didn’t even feel bittersweet to me I just felt hollow in the end. I feel like I was robbed. I felt the same way about the ending that I did with GoT which I know sounds insane cuz it was so much bigger but it’s like. Everyone got split up. They finally found their way back to each other. The big climax comes and goes. Then for some fucking reason the party splits again and it feels like a final goodbye to each other and I fucking hate it

Anyway. Still grateful we got a season 2 but I’m pretty sure the fanfic These Waves Will Pull Me Under by @underthecouchh will always be the canon s2 in my head (fantastic fic btw. U should read it)
